I have been going to this nail salon for 8 years. They used to employ a man who was extremely rough with doing a manicure. I asked not to have him do my work and have not seen him there for the last three years. I like to go when the first open in the morning and usually only one technician is there. I have had three occasions with her services where I have bleeding under my nails or beside them when I leave. I mentioned it to Kim but she seemed unconcerned. She is constantly checking her phone and not giving her clients her full attention. I had her do my nails five days ago and I still have one finger that is raw and swollen under the edge of the nail. I will not be returning to this facility again. This is a very convenient location for me but I will drive further to seek services in the future

I have been coming to Elite Nails for over a year - Tina is amazing and works so hard. My nails always look perfect. She helps me find the perfect color and shapes my nails so well. I started coming here because of the convenient location, but stayed for the talented artists. I have gotten Shellac, pedicures and dip nails from there. They are reasonably priced (dip is $40 before tip) friendly but not in-your-face, and very good at what they do. Plus it’s right by Knapp Meijer!

Service was terrible. Yesterday my daughter & I went to Elite for pedicures. We called ahead and made an appointment. When we arrived, we waited 5 minutes and then they put us in chairs and had us soak our feet. We waited 30 MINUTES and no one helped us or it didnt even look like someone would be free soon. This is the THIRD time this has happened. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!!!!! They tell everyone that calls for an appt yes and to come in. We noticed this firsthand when someone called, they never wrote down a name or time. Terrible customer service. Several other places to go to in the area.

Time wasters and unable to manage, let alone keep booked appointments.I called today Sunday at noon and asked for an afternoon manicure spot, we agreed to 2pm. Arrived at 1:55 and they asked if I wanted a pedicure too and if I brought someone else... then asked me to wait. They clearly had a full house and were nowhere near being able to provide service. Wanted to give them a chance so waited 15-20 mins... during which time no one checked or advised how much longer or if I’d be up soon.Avoid.

Worst manicure of my life. My manicurist started by filing my nails down very aggressively. I had shorter nails to begin with and he filed them so there is now nothing left. He gave me very rounded nails, which I never asked for. He proceeded to take out the electric tool used to file down acrylic nails (my nails were bare to begin with) and used that on my nails, which seemed very unnecessary. He let the tool go over my skin and my skin became red around my cuticles and very irritated. Then he got out the cuticle cutter and began hacking at my nails. Within seconds I looked down and 3 out of 5 nails were bleeding. Since I know my skin is sensitive, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but after 7 out of ten nails were bleeding post cuticle cutting process, I began to get very annoyed, especially since it was painful. Then he started putting my color on. He wasnt even trying to stay within my nail and would just wipe off excess with a tool or his own sharp fingernail. The shellac was over the sides of my nail and stuck to my skin. To top it off, after he finished the color, he went back at my nails with the cuticle cutter again. He was clearly trying to fix his mistakes by cutting the sides of my nails and he aggressively pushing his nail under my nails to get all the extra shellac off. Clearly by looking at the pictures, you can see he was very unsuccessful. The shellac is thick and still all over with the dried blood (I had already wiped off a dozen time). I called to complain and the owner did say she would redo my nails, but honestly what is she going to do at this point. She can take the nail polish off, but she cant fix the nail cutting and broken skin.Honestly I am not one to complain, but manicures arent cheap and I think you should leave relaxed not in pain!

Best pedis in the GR area. Drive 20 mins from the sw side. Very friendly.

I brought my daughter in for her first pedicure. They were so nice, and even put little flower details on my daughters fingers and toes! I will certainly go back

Customer service was avg. I feel because they have so many people go here they dont feel the need to make an effort to make you feel welcome. The person doing my nails wouldnt talk ...not sure if it was a language barrier or not but even when I walked in I was asked what I wanted and was told to pick a Polish. Maybe thats typical in nail salons but its not what Im used to. They did do a good job on my nails which is why I give the 4 stars.

I would give zero stars if it were possible! I stopped going to this salon years ago due to poor service. The employees have the worst attitudes. My daughter asked me to go with her tonight and I figured it has been quite awhile; things may have changed. NOPE, my daughter left in tears. Neither one of us had any services done. Horrible place, Horrible people. Please spend your money elsewhere.

Came in with a group of 10 for a combination of pedicures and manicures. (Wedding party). Employees were not very friendly and seemed like we were putting them out. A few of the girls had never had nails done before so we were asking questions about how the services compare (gel, pink and white, shellac etc). We got more help from google and other customers then the employee.Normally places flip the towel over or fold it after they clean off all of the dead skin. She did not. So the rest of the pedicure my clean feet were being placed right back on the dead skin they cleaned off. Even using the dirty side to wipe and dry my feet the last time we pulled them out of the water!My pedicure at the beginning hurt, she was rushing and jabbing the tool under my toenails. The massage part was amazing. This part she took her time and did a wonderful job.The finished product was ok. My nails looked great but I felt my feet and they were still rough in some spots. I have never left a pedicure with rough feet!!A friend also got her nails done. All of the nails were glued to the tops of her fingers under the nail. She had to work to clean under each nail to free the tips from her skin.

Staff is very unprofessional and rude. Speaks poorly of their clients in another language. (Confirmed by former employee) I went in to get a manicure and the stylist refused to do it without putting a fake tip on because she thinks it looks better with a fake tip. She then argued with me saying that it’s not dip it’s powder and wouldn’t answer me if I accidentally called it dip. I also made an appointment and they didn’t get me in until a half hour after my appointment. This isn’t my first bad experience here.

Kim O was fantastic. I called ahead, had to wait about 5-10 min, but it was fine. They were busy. I was happy to have a place to go on a Sunday.

Not impressed. I love this place usually but today too many things went wrong. The lady doing my nails had her phone on the table and would text after filing a nail or two. So unprofessional. Then she switched out with a worker who just got there and I had to move seats. Which wasnt a big deal. The dish my fingers soaked in and cuticle cutters dipped in to clean was left at that table. After the original lady finished a pedicure she went to the sink dumped it and refilled it. She used it on her next client without rinsing it or anything! So unsanitary! I was in disbelief. I have slices on two of my fingers by my nails that are pretty sensitive now. I wont be going back after all of this.

Pedicure was great, but I had a manicure when I got in the car realized it was way to neon but I had to go so I called right away and asked if they could put a light color over it to tone it down, I was told they would charge me 20 dollars for a color change after I just spent 60.00 there. So I will never go back and they get a not so good review. I will never recommend anyone I know either.

I love this place. Almost every time I visit I hear another customer ask the ladies to fix something they had done at another salon. They do a wonderful job!!

This salon was my go-to for a while but today I couldn’t believe how much went wrong. I arrived as a walk-in, the lady said it would be a half hour wait so, I made an appointment for one hour later. I showed up at the agreed time and waited 30 more minuets with my nail color picked out in hand. Finally, a gal showed me to a chair but made me wait another 10mins! Once she got to me, she said the example color I chose was FADED and didn’t match the actual nail polish. I searched for another color and after the first coat was applied she said the polish was too OLD and had gunk at the bottom. She brought over a color that was many shades darker and absolutely not a match. She painted my nails in a rush so they look terrible. She didn’t give me a hand massage (not sure if that’s custom or not) with lotion but rather with the oil they use. In addition to this awful experience, she didn’t wipe the oil off my nails to make them shine. I know this all sounds so petty but, if it had been my first time, I would have been furious, frustrated and confused. The whole point is to feel pretty and relaxed once you’ve had your nails done and I felt like nothing but a bother to this girl. I am sad to say I will be departing with Elite Nails.

Even when making an appointment, I still have to wait 20 minutes past my time consistently. I just wish they would be honest when calling to make appointments and say if they are too busy to get you in. Also, the men they have working never do a good job.

They did a great job with our party of four. Super happy with the whole experience and how our nails look.

Ive been coming here for about two years. Ive always had a great experience and the employees are always so kind. My shellac manicures last at least 3 weeks everytime! Very reasonably priced as well.

There were four of us, and we all had a wonderful time getting pedicures together! It was clean and friendly and an over-all great experience! Will defiantly return!

Came just to get my acrylics filled in. Woman doing my nails was looking at her phone while working on them. All of them are slightly different shapes, some crooked, misshapen. One is significantly shorter than the others. She told me to pick a new color 3 different times. Poor work, very disappointed.

Racist!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I got a mani and pedi that came up to $80 the lady that was doing my nails asked me to pay before she finished my mani when nobody else had to I drove from Muskegon to come here cause no other nail shops were open on a Sunday NEVER AGAIN will I come here NEVER I didn’t even feel comfortable the rest of my stay

Always a long wait, then if you do get in they do a rush job. All but 2 workers have a attitude problem as if they hate their job . convenient location to my home but I wont try them again. #moneyhungry #racist

I came in needing my eyebrows waxed the woman who did them ended up getting wax stuck in my eyelash extensions. I asked her before she waxed them if she needed me to hold down my lashes if they were going to get in the way she did not say anything. I was very upset because she ended ripping out five of my extensions and my actual lashes trying to get the wax out. I don’t ever have issues like this here so I’m very disappointed with this situation.

Most people work here no( manicure license)Be careful If u get service here, 2 week ago i got my manicure done here, and ask the young lady, do you have your manicures license, to post it on the wall, she try to talk to me about something else.

I went here Saturday the 1st got my eyebrows and my lip waxed the lady convinced me that I needed to get my chin waxed as well. So I did but then she proceeded to go down my neck with the wax. I start getting all of these bumps on Tuesday this is the results and it just keeps getting worse. I will never get anything done here again!!!

TERRIBLE and POOR Service. I was tired and wasn’t in the mood to drive to me usual place. I had to comment several times on how to properly clean cuticles. It appears if you’re not a regular customer you get treated poorly as I was vacated my from seat to let someone else they know take the seat. As far as am concerned we all pay money for the service. The worst pedicure shape you can ever imagine. Bottom line I’m NEVER GOING BACK!!
