If I could submit a review for zero stars I would have. When I initially called to start service I requested they quote me for gutter cleanup when they came to mow my lawn. First, they rescheduled my lawn mowing three times before I messaged the crew to say I needed my lawn mowed sooner instead of it getting pushed back every two days. Then, they didn’t even quote me for gutter cleanup when I asked for it. The second time they came out to mow my lawn, they damaged the fence, which is frustrating because I have a dog and my neighbor ha two dogs. The crew didn’t even make me aware of the damage, my neighbor let me know. I called LawnStarter to try and talk to someone and was connected with someone named Athea, who continuously refused to transfer me to anyone else and said I would only be communicated with through email for the damage. I submitted the damage report through the app as instructed and have not received any status update on my report. I’m greatly disappointed in this service due to the unprofessionalism. Additionally, my grass doesn’t even look good. It’s unevenly cut and looks like it was done haphazardly. I would have fared better to hire a neighbor kid.

I have always been happy with the professional, fast, and responsible service from Lawn Starter. Jacob does a great job of responding to questions and keeps me informed on any updates to my regular schedule, and the reason for a change.

What grade of service you get depends who they send out. Sometimes the crew cancels service on the day. The app is sometimes annoying to use when I was attempting to pause service it said it was paused but next week it was still in service. The call center is always busy and often times returns the call hours and hours later.. had to switch service to different company. Oh not to mention the crazy price increase after a year... without explanation. I gave it 3 star because the last crew person I had who mown my grass was always on time.

EDIT #2 - I received a reply from the owner of the business 10 months after I posted it. They suggested contacting support, which I did twice already (once on 6/7/2019 and again on 6/10/2019). When I contacted support, both times I included screenshots and photos. I did not post this review until after cancelling my service.EDIT - Looking at my bill, the price for the mow wasnt the whole story. Just like the credit card companies, I see trust and safety fees or other things which you would think would be included in the price.Original review:The service was convenient for my first mow. When the person was out to my place I requested a quote to clean up a patch of grass and remove the branches from winter storms. I received a quote and approved it. When the service was completed I found a pile of branches on my driveway.I wasnt happy, so I disputed that the service was completed. LawnStarter sent a second person out to correct the issue. What I received was a new quote to remove the branches that they originally left.I contacted customer service, and they said hauling away debris was a separate fee, but neither quote used those words. In fact, the second quote which was specifically to haul away the debris only used the word remove. I cancelled my service and am looking for another company.

Issues with customer service only responding to one message extremely unprofessional and only responding the one time. Each message for assistance and or clarification after the one and only time they responded went completely ignored. I paused my service at end of the season, yet the crew was sent over and mowed with no notice or warning for first lawn maintenance of the season. I messaged customer service regarding this as I was not home and was in the hospital when it happened, yet they never replied but continued to send an automated text requesting payment. Had customer service been even remotely helpful I would have continued my service. The only reason I even gave a star was because of how great the crew was that took care of my lawn.

They always do a fantastic job

My property is looking much better, but the trimming crew did not cut down the overgrowth by the front yard telephone pole and midian tree. The cleanup crew left behind a lot of fallen branches from my old trees. My garbage and recycle bins were left out in the middle of my front yard. The weeds on the east side of my back yard were not shorn. Perhaps the crew thought this was a garden bed. It is not.

Lawstarter.com is a great affordable lawn Service. Mekkel is the gentleman that services ours and does a fabulous job. Mekkel is the best....by far

I’m reviewing a company today called LAWN STARTER Lawn care. I had an experience today with this company that told me who they were. I originally looked for a mowing service and their name came up. After I went to the site I decided I couldn’t really afford the price and told them so. They seemed to care that I felt that way then offered me a trail for $19.00 and I thought wow how nice and caring...then they told me that if I did a reviewed for their business I could get a $20.00 discount on my next mowing job and I thought wow they really do care so I did the review I also did a Facebook review for in additional $2.00 off and I thought this is great. Until it wasn’t... I awake in the morning and see a withdrawal of $39.00 and I was confused and upset. I quickly contacted the company and canceled the service because I felt like I was lied to. Don’t get me wrong the man I had did a good job be I felt like I wasn’t told the truth and later I found out I was right. After I canceled they came out with how sorry they were but they were not going to refund my money because of a unexplained and a unheard of subscription. I was livid then I explained that you said I had discounts on my next mow job what happened, according to them they used it for my first job that was suppose to be $19.00 dollars... although I’m not good at math...I do know that 19 take away 20 is a negative 1 but I was still charged $4.00 for that first job...this company coxed me to advertise there company on NEXT DOOR for what was suppose to be a discount..but now called a subscription and refuses to refund my money for 1 day of service...they were misleading..malicious and fraudulent...I will never use them and will not recommend them to anyone TKH is a regular lawn service without any underline guidelines or subscriptions...I can suggest you might want to look into them.

I thought this was a good business until each and every message to customer support went unanswered. Lawn mowed with no notice after being paused and billed, hounded for payment without discussing last service... the list goes on and on. Save your time and $. Go with a service that actually cares.This was my first review after a couple of months... I wish I knew better.The best lawn service Ive ever had. I have recommended this company to family and friends, and will co ginnie to do so. Ive never been unsatisfied by the work that is done.

Fabulous service!!! Easy to set up and the communication is exceptional. Email and text notifying you before and after the service which is performed perfectly. You can control frequency and price is very reasonable. Highly recommend this company!!!

Great Service...my first interactions with the service have been stellar..easy to sign up...and they communicate throughout the process so you know when they are scheduled and when completed. Antoine did a great job with both my lawn and my flowerbeds. He is also very easy to contact and quickly responded to any questions I had! I would definitely recommend.

We had Lawn Starter last year. They were late or cancelled many times through out the season. This year they cut the grass one time, then stopped. No response to our emails or texts. Very poor!

Lenny has done amazing work on my lawn and I appreciate it. He does exactly what is asked of him!! I will definitely keep using him to cut my grass.
