Always love coming here for my cuts, they are fast and friendly. Never have to wait more than 20 minutes tops. All the barbers are friendly and do a great job. Highly recommend, you wont be disappointed.

First time here, and after searching for a Barbershop that I wanted to keep coming back to Ive finally found it at Kings Room! Personable, kind, fair priced and exactly what I was looking for in a cut. They take walk ins too so you dont have to wait weeks out for an appointment! Kings Room is the best mens haircut shop. No gimmicks, clean, & friendly. Walk in or call ahead to get on the list. This is the only place my son wants me to take him.

This review is 0 stars. If you would like the worst possible barber, choose Alice. She never asked me what I would like to do with my hair, she just started cutting and I kinda had to stop her and say what I wanted. Then, I had to tell her half way through that she was cutting it wrong. My hair is now shorter than I wanted it, uneven and cut completely wrong. At the end she asked for a tip too, extremely unprofessional. Do not get Alice as a barber, believe me, you could cut it better yourself. If you are to get her, make sure to say exactly what you want because it may be hard or her to comprehend. For a real barber at kings room, get Jess, she’s the best one there.

Simply the best - after a few years of trying out various places in Grand Rapids, Kingsroom has proven to be the best overall experience. The haircut is great and stylists care about what you want and are good at making sure what you want isnt unattractive. Plus, this place doesnt objectify women or pander to sports-enthusiasts, which is an added bonus to the quality cut.

Gave myself better haircuts during COVID. After an unsuccessful attempt was made to salvage what was left of my quaff, the ranking stylist made me feel extra special by telling me services were rendered so a refund was not possible but I could have a coupon for another lousy haircut. I never asked for a refund nor did I want one. But it was nice knowing where she stood on things; $16 would break the bank for them I guess. I felt pretty insulted that she interpreted my concern was merely a ploy to get a free haircut. Customer service for shame in this case. But let’s be honest...my hair looks horrible. Still tho...gave a nice tip because I enjoyed the conversation while my dome was being hacked on.

Theyre a couple dollars more expensive than the cheap places, but its well worth it. Have not yet had a haircut I didnt like from this place. Theyre also always professional & courteous.

Good place for a haircut!

I have a flat top and the barber I use to see is getting up there in age and has had a couple of strokes. On the advice of a friend who also sports a flat top I gave the Kings Room a try. I couldnt be more pleased. They did a better job than my previous barber. I tend to be very loyal and felt bad leaving my other barber but it was time. Finding someone who can do a decent flat top can be difficult. I have had new people at the Kings Room who were learning how to do a flat top on me and they did a great job. They tend to get a little nervous and I put them at ease saying hair will grow back so if they make a mistake I am the one to do it on. Not one mistake and the new stylist are more at ease doing something not in their wheel house. Keep up the great work Kings Room.

I was sorry to hear that the stylist Rae has left the Kings Room she is a very gifted and talented stylist,she had given me the best haircut I have had in a long time.I went back to get my haircut and another stylist cut my hair and it was below average. On a scale from 1 to 10 the kings room rates about a 5 it is no different than any other place

I use to go to here, was very loyal, the owners ran the all good stylists off and the other older lady answering the phones was rude and did not speak highly of the owners i tried the next store location and it was also crappy. they need to get their act together and get the other stylists back that they ran off. business is not good here anymore. very sad disappointed in how the owners act. will not be returning ever, i recommend the barber in ada now to all. hes very nice and treats people well.

The people here dont know how to cut hair. My friend got his haircut here and it was just unacceptable. If you ask for something that give your the wrong style hair cut and cut your hair 5x shorter than you want. The work is sloppy and uneven and not worth it. I could have done a better job if I cut it myself.
