Jude’s Barbershop is a great place to get your haircut. The staff is so nice, their haircuts are always the best and very clean! During the pandemic they are very respectful of social distancing, mask wearing and upkeep on sanitation. 10/10 would recommend anyone to visit.Plus the interior walls are so cool to look at. My husband and two teen age sons have been going here for quite some time, and yet Judes refused to accomodate hy husband after they screwed up his rescheduled appointment. Judes called us yesterday to reschedule just HOURS before the appt. And yet when they showed up to the next day at the newly scheduled appt time, my husband was told he missed the appt and they could not get him in now. I am absolutley FURIOUS because when I called to complain to the main office, she implied that it was ME who called to reschedule. My phone log proves just the opposite. We have an event in 2 days and he needed a haircut beforehand. Now hes left scrambling on a busy weekend trying to find a haircut with a random person. Thanks a lot Judes. Youve just lost 3 long time clients.

I booked an appointment on call for hair cut and shave. And when I got to the salon and waiting for about 20-25 minutes I came to know that they won’t do my shave because of COVID. Which I can understand, but if they had told me that while I was booking my appointment, I wouldn’t have wasted my time and have contacted other places for service.

Never had a bad cut, or a bad hair stylist/barber/hairdresser here. Friendly and skilled. The art on the wall may not be what everyone loves, but I think it gives the brand charm. Make sure to reserve your spot online to minimize waiting time, although if you go during lows youll more than likely get a walk in appointment.

Less talk more listening to what the client wants. Been good up until now. This last cut has me questioning a return visit.

My go to place in Grand Rapids to get a haircut. It is a really unique spot and has some cool posters of the Beatles and other bands. I would call ahead though because they are always busy or booked up a day in advance!

Great place for a haircut. Reasonable cost, and the staff at this location are always friendly. If only they still served beer here...If youre coming in make sure to call ahead, because sometimes other people do and you can end up waiting a bit. Over all great place.

This place screwed my haircut up big time. I posted on Yelp, they completely made the backside of my hair crooked, while also spending under 10 minutes actually cutting my hair. It was in the evening but that doesnt mean you can lose your patience - be professional and do ALL your haircuts the same with proper quality and time.

Judes East town is a great place to relax, Sandy is very meticulous and carrying she give the perfect cut every time. All the other staff members are always very polite. From children to adults we are all treated kindly and with a smile.

I have been scheduling Huong for well over a year now. I traveled to several Judes throughout the Greater Grand Rapids area until I found the most awesome barber with Huong. The location is also very convenient and always clean. If I need an in-between neck shave, they are happy to get me in without hardly any wait.I love the ease of scheduling/check in. Judes does it right!

Huong has been doing my hair for over a year now, and it’s perfect every time! I HIGHLY recommend Jude’s and especially Huong.

I started going to Jude’s when they were in Gas Light Village and stilling serving PBR. I had my hair cut at the Gas Light location by many people, but finally settled in with Ben. The Gas Light location closed and reopened where it is now on Wealthy Street in Eastown. I had my hair cut by Ben for many years up until he left in late 2017. I was panicking as I had gone to him for so long and I didn’t want to leave and find a new place. Ben suggested for me to try out Huong as she had been at Jude’s for awhile. I’ve been very happy going to Huong for the past year. I told her how I liked my hair cut the first meeting, and she hasn’t missed a beat. I don’t have to say anything and she just goes at it. She’s very kind, friendly and personable and I really enjoy getting my hair cut by her. Glad Ben suggested her to me!

I took a chance of this Judes location almost a year ago and the dividends have paid off! I happened to sit in Huongs chair and she has impressed me from the start. She was a sigh of relief :) Im 38 years old, very picky on who cuts my hair, and have been disappointed with many salons in Grand Rapids. I got so lucky when Huong started cutting my hair. Not only is she a master of her craft but she has the personality to boot. She impresses me every time and she always has a smile on her face. Thank you Eastown Judes!

Judes is very reasonably priced compared to hoity toity salons and delivers a higher quality look than a basic barber shop. The decor is old school man cave, but thats okay. Its the clip that counts. The call ahead to wait in line system takes a little getting used to, but its not much different than having a firm appointment time then waiting because the stylist is running behind. Bottom line is I (and my wife) really like how I look when Kim does my hair. Kim is courteous, friendly and skilled. I especially appreciated how she fixed a bad do I got while in Florida.

Walked in at 7:30 pm on a weeknight and they were booked up for the night. I live in a bigger city so maybe a GR thing but walking in to a barbershop is pretty much the whole point of a barber shop. Super frustrating

Never had a truly good experience with Jude’s. There is no way to contact an individual location directly, and there seems to be no standard of quality, training, or experience between locations. Every time I’m forced to use their services, it’s a gamble.
