I love this place. They do such an amazing job. I have been going here for almost a year now. They are reasonable priced, friendly and do what needs to be done.

I got acrylic nails here with gel polish and when I came back for a fill in..it was not gel polish....so they filled in with acrylic instead of putting on new tips. No apology at all...I came back today to have them removed and they charged me more for taking them off when it was again their fault....So come here for mistakes and a sorry job.

Went here 6 26 21. A male tech said his name was Nick very rude tried over charging me saying my nails were old tried to take them off to over charge me I told him no and my nails are not old if so I would have told him to take them off money is not an issue here to me and I wont be back he told me he does not need my service and told me to shut up a couple of times. We went at it in front of customers he was very nasty and rude the other employee stepped In told him to move she finished me up. I will not return again to give them a penny they treat US like $%#@ but take our money my nails look awful and white stuff underneath along with glue. I would not refer no one to this ghetto establishment

I showed an employee there a simple design (lines) she told me I could only get it on two nails because it was too much. Then she took 2 hrs & 20 mins just to do a full set with one gel color. My nails looked like dinosaur claws. I came back the next day to let them know I didn’t like how big they were, the owner told me that was too bad & if I didn’t like it I could leave & not come back. He was very rude & unprofessional. He was yelling at me & didn’t even try to fix my nails he didn’t even ask if I wanted that done. First & last time I’ll go there. Horrible service & it was not worth $68!

DO NOT go here!!! I went to get acrylics removed. I had a male tech and he used a false nail to separate the acrylic from my real nail. I snatched my hand away from him a couple of times because it was an uncomfortable and at times painful process. The tech split one of my nails with this technique and tried to tell me that my loose nail was just glue. This was my first ever set of acrylics so the removal was a first for me as well. A friend of mine let me know that my nails should have been soaked before hand, which they were not.

No respect for customer, No a fair treatment No respect for your time. Dont apply first time first serve rule. Assist other people before you even with apoitment. No appreciation for long time loyal customer.

Got my nails done and for the designs and jewels it was such a reasonable price, theyre done perfectly. Jeanette was awesome.

They are very friendly and they practice good Covid-19 guidelines. They also make my nails look beautiful!

I went to get a Gel pedicure and acrylic nails with gel polish The pedicure was pretty nice the polishing could do better but the acrylic nails i would give 4 stars out of 10 first I asked for coffin shape and they turned out more square then he cut my skin on the file two times (it bled) then laughed and said “it hurt huh?” when I showed obvious signs of pain other than that they both came out to $100 which was NOT worth The money my middle finger nail broke two days after I think because the acrylic nails are so thin. I am not trying to bash this establishment but if you’re not getting a pedicure or a wax please spend your nail money somewhere else

Took my daughter here (convenient) to get a full acrylic set. They all popped off the next week! This was a $45 set of nails!!!I went for a fill in shortly after this happened and told the lady what happened, pointed out which tech did her nails and she simply said she was sorry. No discount on my services, no offer to do another set for my daughter. Poor customer service in my opinion.

Before today, I have had nothing but great experiences in this salon. I have always had female nail teks and my services have met my needs. However, today was horrible. The owner(older male) was asks to do my fullest. He placed my nail on crooked and I asked him to correct it the best he could. Unfortunately, me asking him to do that caused him to “work under pressure” his response to me was “I have been the owner for 22 years. If you don’t like how I do your nail you get out of my shop! You don’t know nothing about business and I talk to MY customers how I want to in my shop! GET OUT”. He is very unprofessional. He will never get my services ever again.

My sister and I went yesterday to Nail Tek. They told me that our nails where 33. It came up 50 a person! They said that 5 dollars extra for longer nails AFTER they did it. 5 dollars extra for gel AFTER IT ALL. The older guy was VERY rough on my nails. Too much glue and with the bigger nail file he grinded on my skin and cut my skin THREE times and I bled and he laughed about it. Had me pay it and he also messed up on my nails and cut too short and didnt paint the nails right. They also didnt tell the truth how much nails cost. Never offered anything!!!!!! Never going back DONT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

The decor could use some TLC but equipment is in good shape and the staff was wonderful. Everyone was kind and the ladies doing our nails were meticulous. My nails and my 4 year old daughters nails turned out beautiful and they even went above and beyond to make my daughter comfortable. The prices were great too! Definitely my new nail spot.

I just needed my toes painted and went there an hour before they closed and they were very friendly. The young lady trimmed, painted my toes and even put some oil on my feet and legs. It was a pleasant experience I will definitely go back there for other services.

Ive been going to this salon on and off for years, regularly for over a year for acrylics then just gel nails, and theyre great! Never had an infection or been hurt, staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. You can call ahead for an appointment the day of to avoid a wait, or theyll let you know if theyre super busy and a better time to come. I always leave happy with my nails (:

I have been going to this location for 5yrs but my last 3 visits have confirmed that I will NOT be returning. They constantly have a revolving door of new technicians that I FEEL are not properly trained. I left today without even completing my service but I did pay for the service that was provided.

They do not clean the instruments between clients.They cut my feet in 2 places. I was bleeding.The station for washing hands was not clean.

Had I checked the reviews before going to this establishment, I wouldnt have step foot through their door. When I walked in the staff was very friendly. I sat down with one of the male nail techs, he started off good and shortly became rough with my hands. After pointing out he messed up one of fingernails he became very upset with me; telling me I dont know what I want?! When asking him to right his wrong he told me to do it myself! Thats what Im paying you for... To maintain my professionalism and cool I requested one of the female techs to complete the job and defuse the situation. Although, she wasnt able to fix the nail he messed up she did a beautiful polish job. This was my first and last time going to their shop. What a horrible experience and unprofessional environment. No discount or anything either, save yourself the hassle and possible trouble. Do your research on local nail salons before putting yourself through unnecessary drama.

Spent $60 getting my hands and feet done. The next day my gel nail polish was chipping off and my feet.. I could go in but Im not. Let me just say a 5year oldCould have done better . If you dont want to be disappointed stay away from this place!! True story .

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I went to get my nails done here because my normal nail place was closed & my right middle finger got infected and bleed when I got home and this was about a month ago and it’s srill infected the nurse told me that once I get this acrylic off ( haven’t got it off because it hurts so bad to even touch it) that my actual nail comes off. So I’ll only have my tissue. My nail is gone. I’ve been on antibiotics and been using cream from the nurse.I got my money back. I should make them pay for my medical bill. Never go here ever

If your thinking about going here... DONT. The absolute worst place to get your nails done. I’ve been there 3 times ( because I couldn’t get an app else where) and each time my nails have looked like square legos 😑 The older gentlemen is really nice but he shouldn’t be allowed to do nails. I even had to shape my own nails after he left them literally slanted

Such nice people there. Had a manicure and pedicure and it felt great. Prices are reasonable. Love my nails. Will be going here from now on. Brought my daughter and she loves it, too.

THE WORST NAIL SALON. I had an awful experience here. They are extremely over priced for the quality of product they use and the service they give. I received a gel full set. I was cut multiple times, my nails are uneven, my natural nail is exposed on two nails, and there is multiple hairs within the gel nails. When I complained, they refused to do anything but charge $35 instead of $40. I have gotten MUCH better quality for that price. My nails turned out so awful that I should not have had to pay anything. I dont normally complain but I am exasperated and furious with the rude service at Nail Tek.

This is the first time I have ever written a negative review for any product or business. I went here for a pedicure and was very disappointed! The staff was not friendly at all. Barely responded or acknowledged me. The work was rushed and very sloppy. I left with nail polish on my skin around the my toenails, a few nails were still rough and not filed properly, and the nail polish was bumpy and not applied thoroughly. My mom left with a bleeding toe. When she mentioned it to the nail tech (who apparently did not notice), the woman said oh, its fine. The overall look of the place was not very clean, either. Behind the pedicure chairs was what looked like mold and water damage on the floor. Do not waste your money here.I am convinced that the ONE 5 star review was written by an employee.

I went to this nail salon for the first and LAST time. I requested an acrylic fill-in. When I inquired how much it cost, the male nail technician proceeded to tell me If you want your nails done for cheaper someone else, you go there! He was extremely rude. After dealing with his rudeness, he completed the job and it was only mediocre. I am highly disappointed with my experience with Nail Tek.

Terrible! Went in to get a fill in. They guy was nice but my nails were terrible I started off with 10 THIN SQUARE nails and left that shop with 2 almond nails,1 coffin nail and 3 square nails and 4 oval nails. They were super THICK and LUMPY, one hand was longer than the other he didnt even put cuticle oil on and let me wash my hands. Not to mention the cuts he left me on my fingers and cuticles from him being rough and actually filing my skin. I even jerked away he never said sorry or slowed down he just looked at me and kept going now I have bandaids on some of my fingers.I will never go back there I should have listened to reviews! Dont waste your money or ruin your beautiful hands!

Saw bad reviews... but decided to give them a try anyway... Nice people...went in at 6:15pm..they were closing at 7... They still took me and did a really good job on my full set gels... Didnt rush at all.... definitely will go again....

Do not get acrylic nails done here. After a week I went for a fill in at another salon and they had to redo my nails completely. There were pockets in between the nails that had not adhered properly and I would have gotten fungal growth in those pockets if I didn’t go to have it fixed. Horrible experience...

Their customer service is horrible .... their way outdated with the nail world. They dont do ombre nails, their gel color selection is limited and to top it off, they are extremely rude. I will never spend my money there and wouldnt recommend anyone going there!

DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP! Got my chin waxed and they burnt my face so badly it looks like I have a skin eating disease on my face. Manager made me wait an entire hour so he could see the burns and told me that all he could do was refund the $15 for the piss poor job and then blamed it on ME. I’ve been getting waxed for almost 15 years and have never been burnt like this. Avoid this shop at all costs. I’ll be reporting.Horrible nail techs and horrible service.

I was charged double for my service, and when I tried to explain what happened to the owner and his wife they told me that that wasn’t the case. I had the proof on my phone that I was charged double through my debit card, but they refused to see it. They continued telling me that I didn’t pay for my full service there and insisted that I pay what was left or my nails wouldn’t be complete. I was very upset and had my father come where he got the sheriff involved. They insisted on telling me that there was a chip malfunction and I wasn’t charged extra when I had the proof that I was charged twice. Later on, the money that I was charged extra for was put back on my card automatically but the owner and his wife were still extremely rude towards me and the situation escalated in a way that I felt was unnecessary. I’ve been coming here for years now, but sad to say that today was my last.

So I’m running on short time and this nail salon is close to my job so I said what the heck I need my nails done! I always get gel with my nail tech in Embassy NAIL SPA in garner(the best) but I go over there and this guy is complaining about how short my nails are and I’m like okay I know I just had acrylics and I took them off and it really damage my nails so I’m like whatever ignoring him and look at what this guy leaves me with some busted nails! I told him and he didn’t even care about the polish on my skin! Don’t waste your time on this people and the place looks so trash and old! I regret it so bad!!

If I could give an establishment less than one star, this would be a perfect opportunity.Don’t waste your time or your money, they don’t know anything about nails, they just know about polish. I asked if she could trim my nails down and bit before getting a polish change and she destroyed the nail on both big toes. I typically don’t leave bad reviews but this was agregious.The customer service was even worse than watching my toenail mutilation. The manager/owner refused to step in and diffuse the situation, so I just politely asked her to stop cutting May nails and apply the polish. She insisted on applying the polish prior to putting my shoe on and now I have polish on my Nikey flip-flop and she had to do the polish again. This is a mess. My toes are sore from being cut so short and I’m out of 15.00.GO AT YOUR OWN RISK

Would not recommend. They are sloppy and rush thru it. Went to have a manicure done with gel nails and they had a few people come in after me. She noticeably started rushing thru my manicure. The polish is over my cuticles, there are visible brush strokes as well as “wrinkle” spots. She only used the uva light on one hand and when I asked about doing the other she said no your done. They rubbed baby oil on my hand for five seconds counting that as their “massage” portion. I get you had a few people come in but I pay my 35$ for services to be good. Not rushed thru and half done. I’m sure my gel nails will start peeling as soon as they grow out a little because the polish is over the skin.

They double charged my daughter and blamed it on a bad chip in her debut credit card then said the card reader never charged her debit credit card. The owner and his wife refused to look at her online transaction history so she could prove to him that it actually brought her account to ZERO. My daughter called me upset so I went up there and I called the deputy sheriff to mediate the issue because I know issues like this can put Afro Americans in the wrong light then we end up on the 5 oclock news. I told the sheriff want happened and the owner explained his side. Then all of a sudden the amount that she was double charged was now credited back to her account. Its sad that you have to call the sheriff to a nail salon to proof youre right after a Owner and his wife accuse the worst of a Afro American women. And the worst part is they told my daughter Hope you come back......REALLY?My advise is to spend your money in a community that supports your community.

Do not go here! The lady kept asking me if i wanted my brows waxed. I told her my skin was too sensitive but she assured me they used honey to wax and i wouldnt have a bad reaction. She burned my eye severely and it hurts really bad. I now have a huge blood blister under my eyebrow. Beware of waxing at nail tek!!!

I went today to get a mani/pedi and it was the quickest, most rushed nail service I have ever received. I had my pedicure first, which was okay but as she was performing the service, I took a look around the salon and it’s extremely outdated. Everything looks cheap or like it’s falling apart. After my pedicure, she led me to the manicure station. Traffic in the salon started picking up for pedicures so after three of my nails were painted, she went to work on some of the pedicures and another nail tech took over. This one didn’t even bother to sit down. She completed the rest of my service standing up. I don’t get my nails done a lot, so I don’t know if it’s the norm, but it made me feel like I was pushed aside and was inconvencing them. This is the first and last time I’ll visit this salon. If you’re looking for a rushed, sloppy nail job - definitely check this place out. If you want to relax on your day off like I wanted to, I suggest checking out another salon.

Worst ever she didnt even put right coat on top. After 3 hours my toes wasnt dry. I literally took off my polish. Will not go again. She was also rude nd didnt understand english at all. I give them 0 stars

Terrible service ..I went to get my nails taking off and put a harden coat.. They acted like they didnt know what I was talking about.Then he acted as if he didnt want to do them and played on his phone . He didnt soak my nails all he did was cut them including my nails that I didnt want cut.. Worst experience ever this is my 2nd time going and will never go back .. They need to close and retrain them people all over again..

My daughter went to get eyebrows waxed and was severely burned by the wax. Their lack of concern is troubling and they still charged her for the wax. The techs there kept trying to put oil on the burns. Do not go to this salon for waxing!!! Today when she woke up she has blisters and raw skin from the wax .

BLEEDING FINGERNAILS! I went in to get a manicure, and left with 4 of my fingers bleeding from being cut with a cuticle remover. 24 hours later, my fingers are still swollen, and it looks like they are getting infected. Horrible Experience.
