Vinny at Fancy Nail did an outstanding job on my nails. My gel fill lasted 3 weeks, which for me is unheard of! He and his wife are friendly and attentive and I will continue going back for sure!!

After moving to the Clayton area, I needed to find a new place for pedicures! (I solemnly swear I will not wait 4 months again!) Poor Ann! She powered through 4 months of neglect with a shellac pedicure. I opted for the NU FOOT TREATMENT ($45) & a shellac polish (additional $20). She was polite, efficient & thorough! The location is convenient & everyone seemed nice!

Vinny did my nails, I was just passing through. They look amazing and it’s been almost a month, they haven’t peeled up or anything yet!

Made an appointment early in the week for this morning. No show after waiting 45 minutes. Called and left message, no answer, no response. Was interested in supporting a husband/wife/local business but not at this place.

Great place! Great people! Beautiful nails! I first visited Fancy Nails in 2017. I have been to many many nail salons over the years, but have not visited another since my first time getting work done here! It has always been a phenomenal experience. They are friendly, prompt and strive to make sure customers leave happy! The staff truly makes you feel like family! I would recommend this place 100x over!

I’ve been here twice and always had a good service. The fact that is a small business makes me coming back because they help customers and provide service to the same good people and even new people. I make sure to call to get my appointment. They always maintain the integrity of my nail which is my #1 concern. The location is small, but tidy. As soon as they give me a towel, its thrown out and a new one used. For my experience I used acrylic and removed it and now I am using shellac and since I’ve been coming here for 2 months and my nails have been SO HEALTHY. The price is affordable, no complains. Definitely recommend if you want to keep the integrity of your nail and want good service in the area I recommend.

I’m very satisfied with the customer service I receive when I’m here. They have become a part of my family and I just love it there. They never complain and they do everything the way you want it done. ❤️

I did pay the establishment for the pedicure with no polish and the manicure that was started and then left my nails sitting in foil and acetone from 11:58am until 1:13 pm. Not to mention the manicure was never finished. As shown in the photo. You offered a full refund because you knew it was the least you could do.I tried to explain the poor level of quality of service to you but you and your mother tried to dismissed me like just another angry customer.Honestly I feel sorry for you, you are willing to sacrifice years of loyal customer service for a few bucks! The photos clearly show there was nothing to pay for and you still let me pay. Then offered the refund!

It was so nice! I had Vinny do my acrylic set and he was kind, funny, and did a wonderful job on my nails. If I could give a higher rating, I would. Highly recommend!

Been going here for 2 years. Love them. Only nail salon that I will go to. Family owned. LOVE IT! Vinny and his wife are great. Vinny will tell you about you nails if something is wrong. This is the only place my boyfriend will get his feet done at. They are amazing. Most definitely will recommend!

They are friendly and make conversation with their customers.My pedicures always turn out professional. Im a French tip girl so I like white tips on my toes. The polish stays on for weeks even moths.I will definitely be back. Make sure your nails are dry before leaving 😉

I LOVEEEE this place! I always have great service. The workers are so kind and giving. I always leave with a perfect shape, color and product on my nails. My gel and regular polish always lasts the longest! There are always multiple regulars in when I come, which is a sign of a great spa. I HIGHLY recommend!

I’m 14 the first time I called to make an appointment, my mom dropped me off while she waited in the car, well I don’t know that much about nails but I did know that. That place wasn’t clean at all. They didn’t change the nail files. The 2nd time I went there was a Friday I didn’t make no appointment I got there and the lady said next time make one I said sorry, well the male got to do my nails they didn’t change no towel! And he was judging my nails because not to long ago I went to get them done there for my trip I was taking and I took them off by my self he was judging them saying “your to young to be getting on fights” and all that. I was just way to annoyed and wanted to walked out but I deal with it till the end once again no new nails files plus he ended up giving me 5 cuts on my fingers. I don’t recommend this place at all. They only treat older people right. And that not fair.now I gotta deal with cuts in my fingers and I hope I don’t get no infection from dirty files

This is a nice friendly neighborhood place. You will be made to feel right at home. The gel polish I get on my toes always lasts longer from this establishment than any other. I believe its careful way its applied. Its never rushed.

This is the best place I have ever got my nails. The color I picked at first the lady could tell I didnt like it but didnt want to say anything so she had me try 5 other colors before picking one I loved. It was a very comfortable environment. I got my eyebrows waxed as well and the best Ive ever had done even showed me how to help color them in lightly everyday because they are blond and which correct pencil to use. I would give 10 stars if I could. The have all the latest nail designs done I have never even heard of. The prices are very reasonable as well just down the road they charge 15 dollars more for the same thing. You would wasting your time and money if you didnt come here.

Had a strange experience here. The place is very disorganized, and that was off putting. I picked a color, and was questioned multiple times. I had to finally put my foot down and say I want this color. She was shocked I didn’t want glitter or something else obnoxious. Then this woman named Sarah comes in and is walking a pit bull puppy around. I thought she might have been the owner, because of the exchanges. The male nail tech gave her a bottle of wine for Christmas. This interaction was fine, but it was just a lot of weird stuff happening at one time. This other lady came late and left a message. They couldn’t see her, and she wasn’t too happy about it. The place is just disorganized. Apparently, the wax room was too cluttered so they did waxing on a pedicure chair. After seeing this I declined to get my waxing done. They cleaned the room, and so I went in to get my waxing. I look up and she is crawling over me to wax my eye brows. She crawled over me without warning not once, twice, but three times. I don’t have a personal space issue, but to have a person crawling over you literally is strange.In a pinch I might come back here.

Wonderful family owned and operated nail salon. Had a pedicure and manicure. I felt totally pampered during the pedicure and I appreciated the attention to detail during my manicure. I recommend calling ahead and scheduling an appointment. Very friendly staff! Will definitely be coming back ☺️

Im so glad that I found this place. Ive been looking for a nail salon that dont treat you like an assembly line. Diva really messed my nails up, because they used a drill on my natural nails. Fancy Nails took their time and did an absolute amazing job. I will be going there for now on. I saw them take time to educate clients on how to take care of their nails. They go above and beyond. Thats why I gave them 5 stars.

Ok, here is the truth....i was so happy to have a same day appointment, but it didnt matter bc I still waited an hour before I was seen. The guy who did my nails was on the phone most of the time, which I didnt mind too much but I know thats not good customer service. He also didnt shape my nails right even after I showed him a picture of what I wanted. My nails were painted unevenly and it was rushed bc I was the last appt of the day. Some of my nails were crooked, too. They seem like nice people and they even face timed their children while doing my nails...that was cute. I could have and should have spoke up but i honestly didnt notice most of these issues until I was home. I also havent had my nails done in years so i let things slide since Ive been out of the game so long. They didnt try to overcharge me which some places do so I appreciate that, i even tipped them. Im currently soaking these nails off so I can start fresh somewhere else. The shop is mediocre at best.

I loved how they take their time and make sure that everything is perfect. I didnt have to have her go back and fix something on my nails. Ill be coming back. Love my nails!

I have been coming to Fancy Nails for years but this one time was not a pleasant experience. My nails are not the shape I asked for and after several attempts to correct the rounded tip; I am not pleased and some of my cuticles are bleeding. The owner did not make me pay because he admitted that this shape was hard to sculpt but previous times he had no problem doing my nails this shape. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to Fancy Nails. They have lost my business.

Awful!! I asked for a new set of gel nails. I wanted the gel,powder but all they had was actual pink gel.My nails have already started chipping! I asked that they not be thick, they are very thick. I asked that my nails not be tapered at the ends but straight out and straight across the top. They are not anywhere close to that. One nail was glued on crooked! He was in a hurry to leave and that may have played a part in the service I received. After all that I was charged $55😳!!, I was so ready to leave and so angry I just paid it and left. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!

Kind, friendly, professional, helped me with a weird nail, and gave me tips on taking better care of my nails. Gave me a beautiful, matte black, almond shaped full set. Im looking forward to going back.

I havent been here in a few years due to my work (I have a tough job that I know will break any nails). I have always loved coming here. Vinny is the absolute best and a perfectionist. My nails are always spectacular when I walk out and I never go anywhere else. Vinny makes sure I am happy and if not, he always fixes it.

I get great service each and every time I visit. Yes it takes a while to get my nails done but I get what I pay for not a rush job. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! Love going to Fancy Nails to get my pedicure and/pr manicure done. Vinnie & Trinh are the best nail techs in NC. They treat each customer with respect and do an excellent treatment every time. Today I had a pedicure and my feet got the royal treatment. Whether it is a pedicure or manicure, attention is given to each part of the service and always with a smile. The atmosphere in the shop is one of friendliness and good times with customers always catching up with each other and new customers getting acquainted. Give them a call and make an appointment, it will be worth it.

Its a cozy little place with a staff of three. I have had two pedicures here and am very happy. The place is clean and they take care to sanitize tools and line the foot tubs. Theyve got nice massage chairs, so waiting is actually a pleasant experience. Its been a relaxing, soothing bit of pampering that I now look forward to on a regular basis.

Did an amazimg job even though the water main had broken in the area. Very detail oriented. Fixed my nails because the place I had previously visited didnt do such a good job.

Had gone to Vinny before no issues except always wanting me to visit more often than needed. Had an appointment I was running 5 minutes behind gave a courtesy call to Vinny he asked if I had an appointment I said yes I got there 2 minutes later and he took someone ahead of me. Disappointed

Love their pedicures but they are completely unprofessional when it comes to maintaining their posted hours of business. I have shown up several times when they are supposed to be open only to find them closed. Have left to run other errands and come back an hour later to find them still closed. Met another customer in the parking lot with the same complaint. So frustrating!!

Online & window business hours stated theyd be open today. Went about 11am and waited over a half hour. No one went in or out. Called and left message with call-back, still have not heard back. Even looked at their Facebook because theyve announced there in the past when they have closed at last minute due to child being ill, but didnt see anything there either. Disappointed.

I walked in today and they were able to fit me in quickly giving me gorgeous nails and eyebrows. Will be back again!!! Very friendly and did amazing work!!!!

Love them!! I have always received great service and nails for both mani and pedi. Sometimes they get busy and it takes a little longer than Id like, but still great work and thats what really matters. They use organic products without chemicals which is great for my eczema. Foot cream is AMAZING!! Great job on eyebrows too!! My recommendation would be to make an appointment!!

I had a horrible experience here. Went in for a pedicure, chose the basic option, and it took an hour and a half. The woman who did the first part of my pedicure took over an hour. I could tell she was newer at this as the other woman kept looming over and watching her. Then she moved on to the next person and the second lady started painting my toes. She did the first coat, then each time someone came in she would stop and go help them. She would literally paint one or two of my toes and then walk away; it was ridiculous! Finally she finished the second coat, then just got up, took a girl who just walked in into the back and never came back. I had to ask the male nail tech to help me. I told him she hasnt come back and I need a top coat so I can leave and I told him how long Id been there. He didnt say two words to me, no apology, just did the top coat. I put my own shoes back on and nicked one of my toes. I waited a minute but she still wasnt back so I grabbed the polish and repainted it myself. I got out my cash and the guy came over and took it from me again without saying anything. What a waste of my afternoon. I would never go back here.

Unfortunately over the course of the past few years this place has really gone down hill. I used to be a regular customer but will refuse to go there now. Their staff always seems to be in flux as if they are always in training. Last visit I ordered the most expensive pedicure that they have. The girl spent a total of 30-second exfoliating and only 2 minutes massaging. They are notorious for starting as many customers as they can get in at a time even though their staff to customer ratio does not allow it. Staff will Shuffle between customers thus keeping the customer waiting long periods of time. My last visit was 2 hours, who has that amount of time to waste. I was completely ignored when I tried to address the fact that I was not getting the services that I was paying for. Both from the girl working on me and the and the male worker who claims to be the manager.My spouse unfortunately got a gift certificate for me without knowing that I was not using them for services. I contacted the store to see about getting a refund. After speaking with the male manager he finally told me to bring it back in for a refund after trying to argue with me. Upon arrival to the store the manager told me I had to speak with the owner about this manner. Again I was told that they could not refund that I would have to use the certificate. I told them under no circumstances would I use them for services ever again and that they would provide me with a refund since there is no stated policy against it either posted in their store nor on the certificate itself. I provided her with a hard copy of the receipt along with the certificate. She finally refunded me after spending 30 minutes in the store. Under no circumstances would I ever recommend anyone use this store for anything.If you want a reputable Place who provides great service go to Lee Nails next to Best Buy in White Oak shopping center.
