Got a pedicure today. First time here. Lilly did my pedicure. She was friendly, speaks good English and was engaged with me the whole time. I LOVE the fact that they open on Sundays. Even tho I have definitely had a better pedi elsewhere, I cant complain about this one. I will probably return again. Oh, and the famous Hannah does not work here anymore. I asked about her after seeing her mentioned in several of these reviews. She quit. FYI

I have been going here for Years. They are affordable as well as talented!!!...You are sure to have a positive experience here!!!I always ask for Amy!!! She is very detailed and does my nails to perfection. They last WEEKS looking (and feeling) great. which saves me time and $ in the long run having to come back sooner.I

Horrible place . I called and made an appointment over the phone for Vivian they told me to come at a certain time and when I got there the guy said he was too busy for services after I could have went some else! I will never go to them again!

Very disappointing after making an appointment showing up and being a Norred for almost an hour before anyone spoke to me they tried to apologize thinking I was there waiting for somebody I could not believe it they did a good job so I went back to get a French tip on my feet and I’m disappointed how it turned out but more disappointed the next day the White is already coming off. I guess I can just go over it with some white out that’s what it looks like anyways right will not be returning

The folks here were VERY VERY nice. I messed up and made an appt for what I assumed was the Garner NC location when I actually made the appt at their Mebane location. I injured my knee and have been on pain meds(never do anything while doped up🤪💗). I made the mistake yet they honored the appt and took very excellent care of me. Ladies I HIGHLY recommend them. They are very kind, very gentle and all around the BEST. Make sure you stop in and see these folks.

Ive been in the house cuz a covid 19 I needed a pedicure in the worst way. The girl who did my pedicure was very professional and friendly she got right to it and helped me get my toes in shape. Everything looks nice and Im very happy with it results. Have a good selection of colors to choose from I didnt at that time but Id have before and always been very happy with the colors. Recommend AJ nails they follow the recommendations for the covid 19 sanitation everything went very smoothly in that area.

Visited A &J Nails for the first time. I had the best pedicure Ive ever had in my life. Linda was fantastic and Frank who did the color was great as well. Excellent customer service. They just got a long time repeat customer in me and my daughter (and granddaughter too)! So nice!

Happened to walk in one day because my nail tech of over 10 years had left the location due to closing and I was devastated. I had not seen or spoken to her in about 6months and low and behold there she was when I came through the door. I was treated very well and offered a drink and everything. I will definitely be going back they have a great staff.

Great service, friendly staff, and comfortable environment. Their pricing is good too. Even when they werent able to get me in for a service as a walk in, the staff was very kind and accommodating. I would recommend this place over many other nail places in the area.

Visited AJ nailed for the first time in years recently. I went into get a gel nail fill in. First, the person would not do what I wanted. I get really really short stiletto nails. Been getting them that way for about 6 months now. He said that would look funky and would not do them the way I wanted. I was in a pinch to get them done fast before vacation otherwise I would have left right then. So to get them the length I wanted I had to go square. The person had a dismissive and frustrated attitude the whole time. After I left, I looked at my nails and noticed that a few of them were completely uneven. Laughably uneven. I paid 35$$!!!!! Do not go to this place, even if your normal place is booked/closed, just wait!

Terrible. i went there with my sister and there are cuts ALL OVER MY FINGER. im very dissapointed in t=how the guy acted twords me he kept raising his voice like he was about to yell at me and my cuticle was cut on almost all of my nails. i was looking for a good sister bonding time but got terrible nails

Terrible terrible service. Worst nail salon ive ever been too.They have terrible customer service. Took my daughters there and wanted all us of to sit near each other and didnt mind waiting they got an attitude the guy there is extremely rude would not waste my money there and they rush you to pick your colors for your nails.

It was very bad and whenever they tried to put in the acrylics it burned. my two friends went along with me all went for a matching set.... for one they were supposed to do all white and just the ring finger glitter but on maddies nails(my friend) they did her pointer finger and her ring finger glitter which wasn’t what we asked for...and then on brooke her nail person put glitter over them all... maddie had paint residue on her fingers afterwords and cut open cuticles..overall a bad result from beginning to end ..wouldnt recommend and wouldn’t come back also there is a flipping cut on my nail.

Being new in town I didnt know what to expect. I was very glad i picked this place. Went once to wax my eyebrows and Mary did such a great job I knew Id be back. Went again today and got my nails done and Mary rocked it. Definitely going back.

Awful awful experience... the ladies that use to take care of my nails are on “vacation”The man who took care of me didn’t listen to what I wanted. I literally had to tell him four times what I wanted and filed my nails so that they were ALL Crooked. I showed him that they were crooked he said he’d fix it later! When is later? My French tip lines are uneven! And then he tried to charge me more money!I do hope Cindy and Linda come back!On the hunt for a new nail salon!!Run away from this place!!!

I went to AJ nails for the first time to get a manicure with gel polish. I thought the people there were very friendly but they didn’t do a great job on my nails. First, I started with a young man who did most of the work on my nails until a customer needed a pedicure, at which point, he had his mother finish my manicure. My nails had already been filed and the woman proceeded to continue filing them, making them shorter than I’d asked, even though I told her they were fine when she started. Secondly, this is the only place I have ever been that did not have me wash my hands after filing and buffing my nails. I have always washed my hands while getting a manicure at this step to remove all of the nail debris. I should have said something, in hindsight, but didn’t. I had to come back the next day because they had allowed the polish to go over my bail and onto my skin, which caused the polish to begin to peel off. When I came back, the man who works there (possibly the owner) was not going to redo the nail, but instead, just tried to trim off the chunk that had been over on my skin. It hasn’t even been a week and one of my nails has chipped. Plus, there are several spots on my nails where they did not apply the clear coat at all. Perhaps if the lady had not been FaceTiming someone while she was doing my nails, she would have paid a little closer attention to these details.

I understand some people have had less than positive experiences here but Ive ALWAYS had wonderful services, perfect results, Ive never been overcharged, and I have recommended this nail salon to many people who have always had just as good of an experience as I have. Ill continue to patronize this business and recommend it to others as well.

Visiting from out of town and I must say this salon is spot on! I had already visited a few, yes, a few salons today and recieved the worse service imaginable, the same places receiving 4-5 stars..I would call them out by name, but there is no use, however..A&J Nails were superb and met every need along with fixing a top notch salons mistakes! Great Job!

Horrible experience. I never leave reviews unless I seriously had an issue or seriously loved a place. This place is horrible. There is a really nice lady who works there but does the worst nails ever. The older guy is always mean and rushes. Sometimes its good and sometimes it sucks. He will also try and overcharge you if youre not paying attention. Ive been there five times (because its closest to my home) and I always come out soured that I wasted my money. I now go down the street to Nails and Tan in Garner (Aversboro and Timber in the Lowes Food shopping ctr). Very busy but so worth the wait.

This aj nails is under new management with a very arrogant know it all owner. My nails looked horrible, although I didnt notice until I left. I went back and the owner proceeded to tell me to be quiet and let him talk! He proceeded to tell me hed do them over but if I changed the color I had to pay an extra 20.00. Mind you I just paid 30.00 with a 5.00 tip. He shewed me off as if I was beneath me and told me Im never satisfied. Ive been to this shop twice before this and was extremely happy. They obviously arent about customer service. I will choose another nail shop.

I thought they were great, their deluxe spa pedicure is great for $35!

My daughter and I patronized this shop before it changed management and we were very satisfied with our services.Once it changed management we continued to go up until Christmas Eve. When we got there we were the only people in the shop, but as more & more people started to come I felt they started to rush. The female in the shop, who did my nails seemed to operate in full speed once others started coming in & did a rush job on my nails. The owner, who was doing my daughters nails started to talk to my daughter in such a way that the lady next to her looked back at me, as I looked up, like did he really just talk to her like that? He got irritated when she asked him to cut her nails down more, and even more so when she questioned the color of the polish and asked is this the color you want or not. I got up & let him know that I did not appreciate the way he spoke to my daughter & she had every right to question the color or anything else he was doing to HER nails. Rather than try to discuss the issue with a regular customer ( which he acknowledged I was) he wanted to argue back & forth. It is my opinion that the longer he had to spend with her, the longer the others would have to wait & those who didnt want to wait would potentially leave, and that was upsetting to him. Not only that another customer came in (an elderly lady)questioning about a service and he was very short & very rude in his response to her. Had it been me Id have turned around & walked out the door & gone to another shop. Needless to say I was very displeased and offended by the way we were treated & his treatment of others this day to the point that I will not be returning, nor will I recommend this place to anyone else.

I cam in at about 6 today and lisa did my toes...... they are so soft and she just did a fabulous job. One of the best pedis ive ever had. Will be my new go to......PLEASE COME HERE..... THEY ARE NICE AND EVERYBODY SEEMS TO CARE ABOUT THE BUISNESS..... LOVE LOVE LOVE THEMMMMMMMMM!!!! #1

My first time going to this place, .. l went there with my oldest daughter 3 days ago to get both Manicure and pedicure done, l had awsomest service ever, customer services was great, environment was splendid. I was glad l stumbled upon this nail shop. My initial place of choice was fully booked with appointments, l was asked if l could come back, so l told my daughter lets look up another great place and give it a trial. That was how we ended up at A&J Nails. And as if that wasnt enough l took my husand and my other daughter back there the next day to witness great services. Linda did a great service, there were two people named Linda in there, so the one that did mine and my husband seems to be related to the owner of the place. She did awsomest job, yes you heard me correctly awsomest job. The other Linda does splendid aswell she is the closest friends to the other Linda. Anyway l would recommend this place to anyone looking for great service and wanted to experience a good quality nails services.The youngest lady there Amy also did a great good job. To 👑 it all, all were professional and did a great job. I planned taking my mother there next week aswell. In all l found me a New Spa place andits called A &J Nails. Thanks Linda for your proffessinal touch.😄🤗

Prior to new management this was my favorite nail spot. New management basically SUCKS! I received gel nails during one visit, returned to the shop within 3days because polish started peeling. I thought it was just old polish, so afforded them another opportunity...guess what? Yep, peeling polish after 2 days. Never again! Theyre so focused on quantity and not quality, basically rush through your service. My most recent visit, due to time constraints, I observed the actual OWNER cleaning a pedicure station using FEBREZE and a SPONGE. Yes, you read it correctly, FEBREZE and a SPONGE! As long as I have breath in my body, I WILL NEVER RETURN to Aj Nails.....unless the original owners return. Patronize at your own risk....youve been warned.

4/29/16 (2nd post)Went to the Podiatrist and they had to cut away my toe nail which was hanging on by a thread. The toe nail came loose right after I had the pedicure done and today I am in a lot of pain. Can take up to a year for the nail to grow back. Go at your own risk.

I tried this place and Omg...Ive been getting pedicures since l was 14 and now im in my mid 30s and l never had a pedicure so great!!Ask for (FRANK) need him during the week. I will be back based on his custoner service and skills💚😍😇
