I took 12 watches in to get batteries, band adjustments and some minor repairs. The two ladies who helped me, Barb and Victoria, were super friendly and very helpful. They have a buy 5 batteries and get the 6th free program so I got two free. The price was super reasonable. Ill be back when I need new batteries or more jewelry repair.

The worst jewelry store ever！I came here to fix my ring. They increased the ring size to set the diamond in wrong way. It supposed to be vertically but they decided to increased the ring size to set as horizontally. I asked they to fixed back to the way it was. They told me they can’t. The damage is permanent and I won’t fix my ring in anywhere else. This is unacceptable!

Best Jewelry store in town! I went into Jewelry Works looking for a nice and long lasting watch. The owner and his employee took the time to explain to me the different brands/types of watches so I knew exactly what I was getting. Since what I was looking for had recently been sold, the owner ordered the watch for me in the color of my choosing and it was there within a few days. This place definitely went above and beyond.

Best jewelry store in town! I’ve gotten quite a few pieces of jewelry/watches/gifts from Jewelry Works. Love everything I have from them! The staff is helpful, and they also let you look around without bugging you, but are readily available to answer any questions, and to show you pieces. They have also ordered me items once I’ve told them what I wanted, if they didn’t have exactly what I was looking for in the store. The owner, David Liles is great too, he knows his stuff!! My experience finding a wedding band at Jewelry Works was easy and stress free. Dakota and other people working there helped me find a ring that fit my unusually shaped engagement ring and they gave me a wide variety of options based on my budget. The ring I ended up buying is stunning and on the lower end of what I was expecting to pay.

Went to the mall late this evening hoping to find someone that could fix piece on a smart watch band. I knew it wasnt typical jewelry repair, but I really wanted to avoid buying a whole new one since theyre quite pricey. Luckily for me Ken was working tonight and was able to fix the watch in just a few minutes. Had I known this was going to be so easy and fast I would have done it along time ago. Thanks Ken! Dave, Nikki, and April were all SO nice and amazing! They sized my engagement ring in less than 24 hours so that I could take it out of town back in June right after getting engaged, and I just got back my GORGEOUS custom wedding band! They sent a mock up via email that looked like an actual photo before I committed/paid for it, and my band looks exactly like that. They were also able to get the exact stones I wanted to go in the band, and the turn around time for a custom wedding band was very reasonable (4 weeks). It’s even better than I hoped.They are so wonderful, patient, and kind with all of my crazy questions. I will absolutely be using them to get another wedding band made to go on the other side of my ring! I can’t say enough good things—they really make the customer feel important and valued, and they can take pride in themselves for providing great work and customer service.

I gave my mom her newly repaired and resized rings that they fixed. I went a little nuts worrying if they would be able to get it ready for Christmas in time but they did. I think it was my moms favorite gift. Thanks for making the rings not in one piece but fit and be like new.

I bought a stainless steel adjustable link replacement band for my Apple Watch from Amazon that was defective and the links could not be removed even with the appropriate tools. The staff at Jewelry Works performed a near miracle and were able to finally remove the links and resize the band. I was delighted! Everything about my experience here was wonderful and I will definitely be back. Thank you!

Great Service. I needed several issues with my watch fixed. These were crystal scratched, locking pin missing, and a cleaning that had not occurred since I bought the watch. The price was very good to fix all these issues and the repair time was fast. I would highly recommend Jewelry Works to anyone.

Absolutely the best and great prices even for the mall. I bent my wedding band lifting some heavy. It had a bend outward and had a large nick in the gold. I just knew it was a goner. Ken not only fixed it but polished up. Looked Brand new. Only $20! They have my business from now on.

I got a charms for Christmas to add to bracelets and brought to Jewelry Works to add. They did so for free but in the process broke one of the thick O rings. They replaced with cheap O rings twice before I had to return for a third time to ask for a thicker O ring. They said Id have to pay for a replacement even though their worker broke it. Man was indifferent, short and showed no care for my ruined Christmas gift. I will not be returning and will make sure my circle knows not to come to this business for any jewelry needs. Safe to say they made me feel like complete crap, especially when they moved on quickly to other customers as if I was in the way.

Jewelry Works is an amazing company! They have great communication skills and helpful and friendly employees. I a custom piece on December 18th and wanted it by Christmas. One of the sales associates promised to follow up with me which he did and he called me right before Christmas with the necklace! I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using them for future jewelry purchases

Took a watch for fitting and was pleased with the very quick turn around (about 5 minutes and $8). The staff was very friendly as well. However, we also dropped off two rings, a wedding band and engagment ring, to be resized smaller. I was told $35 per ring, and approximately 1 week wait time. Seemed fair. 4 days later I get a call that the original quote of $35 was wrong and it would cost an extra $10 per ring to file the connections after the downsizing. Not really sure what the original $35 was for now, but not a big issue. Then I was told that some stones were loose in each ring. That would cost an extra $30 per ring to repair. That was too much at this point. I understand this is a business and you dont really know much about a job at a glance. Regardless of that, I was put off by the original price not being conveyed as a quote at any time and that for a ring set that has less than a year of very soft wear, stones might fall out. First time for using this jeweler and am skeptical due to over doubling the original price after a miscommunicated quote. Im not trying to spread mal-content, and I am by no means an experienced jeweler. I am a customer who deals at face value and I feel like there was an effort to try and squeez more out of me by playing on my ignorance of the matter.

Read whole thing before you go there!Update:Filed against them with my bank. They tried to fight having to return my money and lost. I got a letter from a very reputable jeweler that said the it was the worst work he has ever seen. Also, the sapphires he put in are too small and of very, very poor quality. I would advise going somewhere else. Do get your jewelry screwed up like mine. It is going to cost me a good chunk of money to get my ring repaired.The owner asked me to change my review but, instead I will update. I finally got my ring back. The fit is great but, I am still very unhappy with it. He said a stone blew out on it and he had to replace it. I doesnt look like the previous stone at all. Definitely looks smaller. Also, he said he shouldnt of even taken the ring without me agreeing to fixing the prongs. He only gave me 20% off of my purchase and then proceeded to tell me that he gave me free prong work and the stone was free. Well, They blew out the stone and why should I of had to pay for it! The prong work looks sloppy and rushed and covers almost half of the stone they replaced. Also, when they soldered the rings back together back together, they only did it in to places. Before, the whole bottom portion of the ring was soldered. Now, the rings have a space. I shouldnt have paid for this crappy work at all. I might file a charge with my bank to try and get my money back. I did take my ring because they had already had it a month and I was going out of town. I wanted to wear my ring. The only thing that is good about this is that is fits again. Will never use them again!!!!I will never use these people again. The first time it took them way past the time they said and it cost a lot. I decided to give them another chance and took my wedding ring to get resized to a larger size. Well, it has been almost a month when it was supposed to be a week and a half. They got it on 9/16/16 and here we are on 10/13/16 and it still isnt done. I am so mad over this. It is not okay to do this at all. I am refusing to pay full price for something that should have taken a week an a half that has taken a month. If I have to, I will hire an attorney and take them to court if he refusesaid to give me my ring back for a lower price. Super mad!

Dave knows what hes doing, trains his associates very well, and is extremely friendly to everyone that comes in his store. If an associate doesnt have the answer to some more complex questions or problems with your piece - Dave can 9/10 either answer just about any of those questions or fix it (sometimes on the spot). The turnaround time seems like forever (1.5 weeks as of now) but its always going to be about that long anywhere you go - if not longer, especially if you send something to a manufacturer.The manager Dave is also the owner, and I am almost 100% sure Jewelry Works is the only locally-owned shop in the mall now. They specialize in watch repair, but also work on jewelry and provide many other services.PROS:- On-site repairs. Nothing gets sent out of the store. You drop off and pick your items off at the same place every time.- Items can be mailed once complete. The store has received items from California, Texas, and many other places. Moving? No worries! You can still mail out items to the store and theyll mail it right back.- Dave can fix high-end watches and is very knowledgeable on how to take care of them. If youre a new Rolex/Movado/TAG/Tissot/etc owner, he can tell you just about all there is to know about price points and can tell you if you got ripped off or got it for a fair price, maintenance requirements, battery/capacitor lifespans and pretty much anything else you can think of.- Fantastic customer service. If something cant be fixed, they will give every piece back to you and wont charge you for the service(s) they could not provide.- Will buy back jewelry for either consignment (to re-sell) or as scrap if you want cash on the spot.- They do custom work. My brother had his engagement ring custom made here and its a very unique design that you cant buy at any big-box stores.- Also have catalogs if you dont see anything in the store that catches your eye. Want unique stainless steel, tungsten and/or leather jewelry/accessories? Simple sterling silver pendants, promise rings, charms, etc? Want those same items but in gold? Theres a catalog for that. I have purchased a round flask with a message custom engraved on the face from one of their catalogs and the recipient still loves it and uses it all the time, and this was back in 2012.CONS:- Traffic has definitely increased, making the store a lot busier than previous years. If you come in on a busy morning, especially on a payday, you could find yourself in a line and have a few customers in front of you for repairs. They can change a battery in just a few minutes when its slow, but you could find yourself waiting 30+ minutes if the store is seeing a lot of traffic.- Turnaround time is about 1.5 weeks. Not bad, but for those in a hurry this can seem like an eternity... but its worth the wait!- Store can be hard to spot since its so small, but its in the wing of the mall where Belk and Cotton On are located. It is directly behind the Cinnabon and can be accessed through the Ruby Tuesday entrance if you are on the outside trying to find the fastest entrance.OVERALL:- Turnaround time is worth the wait.- Staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and will find answers and solutions while you wait, during their down time at the store, or even at home if they cant answer your questions or address your concerns on the spot.- Repairs are sturdy and last a very long time. They dont purposely sabotage your goods to bring you back... they fix them so you dont have to bring the same items back over and over. They want your repairs to last a very long time, and make every effort to give 110% to ensure a professional finish.
