Normally my experience here is wonderful... this time was different me and my wife went to get our jewelry cleaned as scheduled. One of the employees was very nice at first but when came down to doing her job she just didn’t want to complete it. Every time in past when we came to get our jewelry cleaned you would be able to see yourself in it but not this time all she used was tooth brush and said all done... we asked aren’t you supposed to polish it she said nope I said ok then left... we will contact corporate hopefully the ring gets cleaned correctly the next time.

Horrible experience. Tried to talk to staff about a piece of jewelry for my granddaughter and blew me off. Rude staff and told me to go to their piercing store or online. They were shutting down for lunch break and closed gate as soon as they dismissed me. Would not even discuss options with me. Won’t go back!

Definitely don’t recommend... rude service and not very organized they gave me the wrong size ring after I ordered it 2 days before I picked it up then said it would take 2 weeks to re size it just to find out it’s been 2 weeks and they haven’t even shipped the ring yet to be resized then when I call about the ring they hung up on me twice.
Previously went in to look at engagement rings at this location with my now fiancé. The 2 associates threw about 20 rings at us in under mere minutes without trying to get a good feel for who we were or what we were looking for. After that whirlwind we didn’t even remember which ones she liked because there were so many so quickly and the workers also didn’t keep track of the one she liked
I love seeing all of their faces. Not a day goes by I dont think of Kay Jewelers in the Oaks Mall. BEST Kay store Ive ever been to.
I want to say this was my absolute BEST experience at a Kay Jewelers ever. I always feel a bit bad because I bring all my pieces in at the same time for cleaning and inspection. Which is about 10+. The lady was wonderful and got my jewelry box organized so next time I came in all my pieces were in one place instead of under different accounts. Took about an hour but she cleaned all my pieces and inspected them. One ring I knew needed sent out since it had broke. The other 2 necklaces she tried to clean for me but couldnt get all the tarnish off. Ended up sending 3 of them out {no warranty on those pieces}. She was absolutely wonderful!
We had the best sales lady ever, she knew exactly what we were looking for and was very knowledgeable all about it did not leave out any details of the policies returns and insurances she let us know about the sales and everything involving purchasing the rain thank you!
Nathan and another gentleman who’s name I did not get were a great help. I had been trying to track down a specific diamond tennis bracelet for my wife online and I had issues with online support for a couple of days. Within 15 minutes they had the specific item ordered and en route to be delivered to my home next day. I could have saved a couple of hours by just walking in and speaking to them. Good customer service, understood I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg, and gave a good selection of in house items that were awesome/in my range, just not the specific one I wanted to purchase. Will come back and purchase again.

I purchased a ring for my wife in December. One of the diamonds recently fell out, and they are saying they cant fix/replace it for 60 days due to Corona. However, they can still sell stuff, and my payments are still due, for a ring missing a diamond. Absolutely disgusting customer service.*update* manager just contacted me, stating he would replace the ring, but they do not have one in stock. We will see how this goes.

The Gainesville oaks mall Kay jewelers gave my wife and I exceptional service, we got helped by the manager Tiffany and one other associate and they used team work to completely make our day and make my wife feel so happy about our ring purchase! We shopped the whole mall and decided Kay’s was our place to invest our journey of life with, we will be back for more jewelry! Thank you Kay jewelers!!!
They scratched and bent my husbands wedding band while re-sizing.They did really bad job and tried to tell me that the ring is supposed to be that way after re-sizing. However, I got my own band (which is identical to my husbands) re-sized elsewhere and it looks fantastic! I am very unhappy with Kay Jewelers. It was my fathers wedding band when my parents got married, my parents passed their wedding bands to me and my man so its very important to us.Id say Im pretty furious right now.
Kays is a complete joke. Use to be a reputable jewelry company back in the day. I sent a ring off to be sized and a band to be removed so that I could get an upgrade. Only thing I got back was a newly sized ring. Upgrade will be with a different jeweler.
Their selection was small compared to what the other jewellers in this mall had at the time of my visit. We had a budget of 800 for my ring and the clerk that was helping us was practically shaming my fiance for not spending more on me. She kept asking other associates loudly for help and basically announcing to everyone what our budget was and how hard of a time she was having. I felt disgusted after my visit and was glad I went somewhere else for my ring. This store felt so unprofessional just by looking at it.

The pin that holds the band together on my watch my wife bought me for our anniversary fell out and was lost. Took back to jewelry store and was told because I could not find the pin it would cost 139.00 plus parts.They dont stand behind what they sell.
If I could give zero stars I would. I received a ring for Valentines Day 2015 from my sweetheart. He purchased it in Ocala, but because I live/work in Gainesville, I took it to the local store for re-sizing. Upon receiving it back it appeared a stone was missing. The girl there told me it was not missing - that is just the way the ring is. I took it today to have it inspected/cleaned and immediately Lindsey states a stone is missing. I replied, I knew it! and explained what happened when I had it re-sized. Lindsey went to Sabrina and told her what I said and Sabrina said it is a small stone so it would cost me about $25 since we had a warranty we would not be assessed other charges. I didnt understand why I should have to pay anything since I received it back that way. Since they are not able to verify my story I have to pay. I was not happy with that. Especially, when Lindsey said, I cant account for how they do things in Ocala. I told her that while it was purchased in Ocala, it was brought to Gainesville to be re-sized. Lindsey completes inspection/cleaning and hands me my ring and tells me, here - youre done and turns her back on me and walks away without a thank you or another word. She begins with another customer and that customer is also standing there in shock at Lindseys rude treatment towards me. I then called headquarters customer service and the bottom line is they cant prove when the stone was lost so there is nothing they can do. They were not concerned about the poor customer service. I will not purchase from Kay Jewelers anymore. My engagement ring was bought elsewhere.
Constantly having problems with broken jewelry. stones falling out and having to be replaced. and contacting them is almost impossible on the phone.
Went their to inquire about my credit card and the limit. The manager named Sabrina was awful. She talked down to me, made me feel like I wasnt worthy or was just plain filth. She was very snobby and didnt even offer any alternatives. Ive never been treated so poorly from a store as I have with this woman. Awful service!
I bought my diamond ring and earrings from here and theyre literally falling apart. Like the diamond stones are falling out and it kind makes me think if Kays sells fake diamonds.
