I used to go this nail salon faithfully Every other week. But for the last two weeks every time I’ve gone my nails are broken by the end of a week I came back in today after doing a full manicure and pedicure last week again with a broken nail asked for repair. They made me wait an hour so that I would give up….they kept telling me they were busy even though I saw them serve a ton of walk ins. This for a customer that comes in faithfully. I kept going because of the proximity to my house but I just cannot support a business that doesn’t treat its loyal customers with deference and respect. Furthermore the nail salon further from my house while not as convenient doesn’t deliver product that breaks and chips. Go at your own risk

Went here because it was closer than my usual nail salon. I wish I hadn’t. I literally had the worst manicure experience I’ve ever had. I have never ever experienced a nail tech remove acrylics the way this tech did. Drilled/filed so much on my nail to point where he made it thin and it hurt. That has NEVER happened. I ask tech not to cut my real nails, repeatedly. Obviously he was not listening because he pretty much butchered them on one hand and now there are tips on them. Again, I have never experienced this at any nail salon I’ve gone to. I was highly upset. Not worth the price. I noticed when the tech was done he packed up his tools and went to another customer without sanitizing tools or anything. Highly unsanitary. Especially since we are still in a pandemic. I won’t be back here. I don’t recommend.

I went in to get my nails done with a design in mind. I showed it to the tech and she seemed to be second guessing herself while doing my nails. The color and design was wrong and when I would ask her to fix it, she visibly got annoyed and kept insisting that she didn’t need the reference I had and “knew” the design. When she was finished, I left rather than having them redone, as I had already been there for 2 hrs and was upset and frustrated. I left the nail salon having wasted $80 for nails that are not even close to the picture.I called back the next day and asked if I was able to get my money back. I was told that I would only be able to get my nails redone with no charge unless I was to do a different design, meaning I’d only get 20% off, which was understandable. I go in for the appointment and I am told once I sit down that I would only be able to get the shape and minor parts fixed. I told them I didn’t see a use in doing so as my nails would still be wrong since the base colors were off as well. They told me I would have to pay another $50 for them to completely redo my nails. I left out of frustration as I did not see it fair for them to charge me another good amount for nails that should have been right the first time and was told different over the phone. I am now stuck with $80 wasted and ugly nails.

I happily drive 35+ minutes to specifically come to glow because they truly cannot be beat. Been here many times and NEVER left unhappy regardless of my nail technician. I consider myself to be extremely picky about the quality my nail services. I’ve been to Kimmie more than anyone else and she is a true artist. She takes her time and puts so much effort into her sets. You can tell how much she loves and cares about the work she puts out. Every time I get my nails done here I get so many compliments because they are just that good at what they do. I confidently recommend everyone come here knowing they will receive the highest quality service and leave happy.

I was nervous going in due to some not good reviews but I figured every opinion is different. Im so glad I went! Kimmie was amazing! She did exactly what I asked for! Everyone was friendly, smiles, etc. I will be back!

I was a customer at Glo nail bar for over 6 months .. in the beginning the staff were friendly, but over the last 6 months they have grown busier. The service is not the same they rush through jobs, for a month i have spent $300 fixing nails. Gel not drying properly, acrylic lifting and just poor service over all. My last straw was when i couldn’t go to a regular person (who has been slacking anyway) - Kimmie and the manager suggested for me not to go to “Ken” but go to Aaron… this guy was HORRIBLE.. attitude was poor, no patience, and just out right horrible with acrylic. He also did a polish change on my feet with gel LITERALLY tried to file down my whole nail SMH! Nails lifted within 2 days and gel peeled from the sides clearly not dry and laid very thick. I spent $125 that day and had to get my nails re-done a whole new set at another salon. After 6 months of spending a ridiculous amount of money, i won’t be returning. They do not care about the health of your nails and they rush through every job that they do. You are not valued at this nail salon.

Great place for my nexgen, pedicures or a polish change! Definitely Recommend! Nice friendly people and comfortable environment. Descent prices too.

The service was excellent. However, my no chip manicure started chipping away in just 10 days after I got it done. I get my nails done very regularly so I know it’s done poorly since it chipped so soon.

Always love getting my nails done here! The staff is young and fun so they understand the designs you want and they work very quickly! Drinks are also really good 🥰

So I love me a good spa pedicure. And hands down this was the BEST experience EVER!!!! Katie did my pedicure and when I tell you she worked magic on these feet all the way down to my ingrown toe nails. My friend used Chelsea and both women were AMAZING, and FUNNYYYYY!!!! Also the FLY guy DON was so funny. So if you need a pedicure or other magic done check them out!!!!

Each time I go in for my pedicure I request Justin. He’s the best! Friendly, professional and gives THEEEEE best foot massages!

Took my daughter here and they quoted $45 for acrylics and charged me $50 due to the shaping, when they did her eyebrow wax they grabbed her head while she was sitting in the nail chair and pulled it back roughly. After they were done they told her that she may need to come back and have more of it removed because it was closing time. Never going back to this janky place!

My wife goes here once a month and is always extremely satisfied! They have a polite and professional staff at quality prices, servicing their clientele in a timely manner.

I have been going to Kimmie for years. She is insanely talented and can do just about any design out there. She literally kills it on my nails everytime, and I get so many compliments (literally EVERYTIME). This salon is beautiful, they serve drinks, and play good music. They are super nice, and I’ve had nothing but great experiences here.

What a bad “nail bar” ... this was on my birthday (02-27) and I had the worst experience there. First, the guy that did my nails put the colors in opposed to what I told him. His name is “Danni” ; he didn’t offer even water and I saw everybody drinking something. I asked him if was there any compliment for a lady b-Day and he asked me “you want to get a gift card ??? So I repeated the question and didn’t understand me🙄I didn’t like the fake nails and I couldn’t do anything with them even grab things. The “nails” didn’t even last 2 weeks. I don’t recommend this horrible place. Lack of kind workers. Never will go again.

I came here the other day after a couple years since the last time I came and I was reminded of why I had stopped coming here. The nail tech that did my nexgen manicure was so rude. Never had quite an experience like the one I did with him. I asked him to not use the file to file down my natural nails in order to remove my old nexgen, and he started arguing with me about how theres no other way to do it. I told him he could just let it soak and then use the softer buffer like other places do and he scoffed. Then, he tried to tell me they dont do a top coat on nexgen. When I questioned him, he acted like he was kidding but Im pretty sure he was about to get up and leave like he was done. And now after 2 days, its chipping. Stay away. Theres plenty of better salons in the area.

HORRIBLE!!! Trying to find a local nail salon so I decided to give this place a try. First, the tech that they gave me didnt even understand what a FILL-IN was. Typically when I go to nail salon, I select a color for my fill-in and this tech thought I wanted my nail filled in with the color, he kept asking if I wanted two or three colors on my nails THEN he didnt even take off my old color....he just put acrylic over my existing color. At that point, I knew this was gonna be TRASH. Then I reminded him that I wanted my nails shorter and he got an attitude with me about it. Even though these were all things I said when I first sat down. I paid for my services cuz I didnt have the energy for this place anymore plus I hope my negative review stops many more people from wasting their money at this place therefore costing them $35 many many times over

Pedicure is decent, But the other services were not upto the Mark. It was not worth the money at all. The Waxing experience is horrible. Not trained professionals and the equipment is of poor quality. Not worth spending one dollar at least. Wouldn’t recommend this place other than Pedicure.

I asked for Kimmie to do my nails after reading some great reviews about her and seeing some of her work, her and the staff are extremely friendly, they have a great selection of drinks and 2 are complimentary! Very clean environment, this was my first time ever seeing a nail salon with an actual bar and it was great! Ill be back soon!

Let me just say this place is the cleanest nail salon I ever been too! Taylor has kept this entire salon safe for every customer that comes in. I have a chronic illness and was worried about my health! They make sure we wash our hands before we come in. All the technicians are using all measures to make sure safety is key in the salon. I enjoy the music and conversations I have with the customers and staff! The salon is my second family when I come in! My entire family comes to this salon faithfully every two weeks. The products they use are amazing on my nails, they have such a huge variety of colors. I have tried them all from dipping powder to nexgen! Once you first walk in, the nail technician ask million times what color you want, oh if you have a picture which I always do!! -the nail technician would sit you down and go get your colors! They are so professional, I adore it! The salon is very welcoming to everyone! They make sure you are happy with everything! Once my nails tips are on they ask me how I want my nails done, size, length, and again ask me is this color ok, they ask a million times just to be sure! Once they are all painted they make sure it was everything you wanted! They are diligent with their time on your nails! For me I have to ask for two hours only because I get coffin shaped and a million designs! I love this salon because they care for their customers. Every technician is sweet and charming! They get excited to have someone in their chair, and regular customers! So please understand everyone is human and make mistakes, but this salon cares and will fix anything if asked! So come down and enjoy my favorite nail salon and get them nails and toes did, you won’t be sorry!But I have to say my favorite nail technician is Kimmie, she always gets me right, she is patient, sweet and kind! Plus she takes her time with each nail. Very professional! Thank you beautiful for making me even more beautiful!

I m been going to this place for 2 years, at the beginning the Nexgen nail services was excellent, but this year is going downhill, the place is dirty, they do not sanitize after each client, the clear divider is dirty. I went last week I choose a summer color, I noticed my nail tech was not doing a good job, she left my nails uneven, she tried to correct them but she did not do it right. I got the feeling that she was not paying attention when she was working on my nails, seems like she was distracted. So she finally finished, I paid 45 for the nails and tip for her. I got in my car and I noticed the color of my nails was not even, patchy and seems like the powder was old, horrible finish. I went back to tell them, I requested a new color because I was not happy with the results, the receptionist said I am so sorry but we have to put the same color, or you have to pay 45 dollars for another set. What kind of services this place give!!!!!!!, they put a messed up product on my nails, and on top of that I have to pay again to get them fix. This is my complaint, but previously I noticed other customers returning to the business to complaint, The owner was not there, I will not recommend this place at all

Every time I’m in Texas, this is my go-to salon! Mishi is one of the most sweetest nail tech ever. She always makes sure I leave happy. I’m very picky with my nails & she always gets it right. Customer service here is A1, all the workers are super sweet & very nice! Not your typical nail salon.

I have been searching for a nail place and this salon is by far the best one I have been to. Everyone is so friendly. They did an awesome job on my nails. Just showed them a picture off Pinterest and she nailed it. The cucumber pedicure was amazing. I will definitely be back. Found my new nail place!

Julie did my nail(gel polish) she was super gentle, attentive and precise. And did I mention, she is a sweet lady.

I had gone in for nexgen nails and every time i have gone in the outcome was just horrible. I recently went back after awhile and once again it was horrible. My nail had already come off after not even 24 hours of having them and another nail is already lifting up. A little while back they have also cut every single one of my fingers making my nails look far worse. I am beyond upset because I had called earlier the minute they opened (9:30) to get my nail fixed and the lady said she could not fix it because they were too busy. Every time my nails do not stay on when they do them. They should last at least two weeks but mine are only lasting not even 24 hours. This is not a good place to waste your money on!

Came here twice now, my nails and pedicure were great but wow you would think making an appointment means being ontime or at most a few minutes late not 30-60min. My technicians and the boys in the front were very kind/polite each time but I thought the first visit, the long wait was a one time thing but it was even longer my 2nd time. Really need to come on a slow day or be ready to wait hours. Hope next time is better or ontime especially when an appointment is made.

I went in twice... first time got a next gen manicure and a pedicure. The quality was poor, my nails were crooked and my toes chipped quickly. I decided to go one more time and this time try just a gel manicure to see if it was better. My nail chipped after only three days and my other one broke completely off. Just really disappointed and will not be trying this place for a third time.

I had a delightful visit here on my first trip. I got an old dip set removed and replaced by one of my favorite sets ever! They had so many colors and options that I had a very hard time deciding. I also got one of the best french pedicures Ive ever had. The drink selection was surprising. A little champs never hurts! I also got a wax service and the total price was more than fair considering all I had done. Im excited to go back!

Looked good while they lasted. Got a nexgen manicure. A week later 3 nails have broken off. I went back to them after the first one broke off which they repaired for free. Two more have since fallen off. Never had NexGens break off so easily, ever.

Tam is the best! They are always accommodating and have a variety of colors to choose from.

Had an appointment at 4:30 for one service and they told me to find a color for another service I didn’t ask for. Waited 20 minutes before someone got to me for my appt. Technician Charlie did a great job, but I noticed that another young lady and myself had to pay the front host midservice (we were both African American) which was uncalled for as other young ladies (Caucasian) did not have to be inconvenienced during their spa experience and they paid once they were done/ on the way out the door. I wanted a marble nail on my ring finger so another lady, randomly came over to do it and no one told me the charges for two marble nails but she seemed as if she really didn’t want to be bothered. My husband sent me to get my nails done and to go relax but I just ended up dreading the experience, paid my $60 and rolled my eyes out the door lol. Charlie does good with acrylic!—Update for below response:No, I was not informed of the up charge. And there are other ways such as waiting for the nails to dry like you did other women, to receive payment. Or may I suggest you asking for a deposit when someone calls in for an appointment. There is no excuse or justification. Please do better for your future clients.

My pedicure was great. The technician was very thorough in addressing my toe health. The eyebrow wax; however, was mixed. The end result of the brow look was nice, but I question the sanitation of the process. I saw the technician dip the same stick in the wax each time, making me question if every client is done the same way.

Upon arrival I told the front desk it was my 1st time here. I was quickly sat as the place was empty. I was so disappointed that with a full bar I wasn’t even offered a beverage, yet all the employees were just hanging out on their cell phones. Halfway thru my nails a few customers walked in and I notice my nail technician Christine begin to rush. So much so that I was cut during the process; we all know those tiny cuts hurt the most! She didn’t even apologize. My nails still turned out pretty good. They do charge a little more that other surrounding nail places in the Frisco area. Paid $40 for a classic dip on short nails. I would imagine it’s an up charge if you want long nails or need an old set removed, plus your tip so it’s something to consider. On the plus side, they do have a large selection of colors to choose from. Overall, I think they are decent they just need to work on their customer service a bit more.

Don’t even bother going here if you want nice nails.The techs are impatient. They don’t listen to what you want and the nail techs are not experienced.I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they gave me something totally different.My nails look horrible and I was charged $$.Save your time and money go somewhere else or you will get short chubby horrible looking nails.This place is a total waste of time and money.

Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with her, she is truly the definition of perfect customer service. Also, I got the coconut lime pedicure, so good!

I want to add my daughter for her nails done as well and guess what it’s the next day and one of her nail tips came off, do yourself a favor a stay away from this place!!!Went in for a pedicure the tech massage my feet for like 2 minutes and to top it off she didn’t even do both feet. My friend walked in and she said I was talking when she did the massage so I didn’t know she even did it. It was our first time here, we will never be back. I don’t pay for someone to tell me basically I have no idea what’s going on with myself. I guess she thinks I’m stupid!

The services I asked for were not completed. I wanted a manicure AND nexgen. My nail tech did not give me a manicure. He simply took off my existing nexgen color and applied my new color I asked for. They did not do a cuticle clean up like I asked, or give me a lotion or hand massage like you would get normally for a manicure. They literally just took my color off and dipped my new color on. Also the shape of my nails looked awful when I was done and I was stuck with sticky gel underneath my nails when I left. On another note the whole time he did my nails, the bur things they use to take off my nails and the nail clippers he used were not sterile. They were not in a sterilized bag at all. He grabbed them from his nail case and used them on me and dropped them in acetone afterwards for about 10 minutes and then I watched him put them back into his bag afterwards. Lastly, I’m pregnant right now and they have this nice bar in the back and not one time did not offer me a beverage. I was not as upset about that since I could have asked for water myself. However I heard the workers going around asking other clients if they wanted anything to drink and I was never asked if I wanted anything.

I got eyelash extensions done by Mishi and she did an amazing job! I had recently gone to another lash tech somewhere else and they did not do a good job. I explained the situation to her and she was super understanding and patient with me. She took extra time to remove my bad set and redo them the way I wanted, constantly making sure I liked them and was super sweet! I would recommend her for eyelash extensions to everyone !

When I went the first time it was great.the second time was after COVID and it wasn’t great. The woman who did my nails took forever, Giles the heck out of my skin more than my nails and she bails are thick and flat, which in the 20+ years I’ve been getting them done only happened one other time.They added a $7 charge to “cut my cuticles” not something I want nor recall them doing. Also they never mentioned it until after everything was done.My nail dip color wasn’t even so I had to polish it myself a little at home. The technician forgot to seal one finger and it got cloudy when she uses the oil so she had to redo that nail.My nails aren’t consistent in shape, color or thickness and they are all bumpyI won’t be back

By far the best experience I’ve ever had at a nail bar. This place has wonderful staff and is clean. The staff was extremely nice and they were attentive. Tam worked on me and he did such a wonderful job. I honestly don’t want to go anywhere else. He was fast but careful and my nail set came out beautifully. Thank you!!

Love the service, I’ve read some other comments and just have never had a bad experience there. Great customer service! I’ve had both dip and gel nails and have loved both. I especially love the very large color selection in either one. Highly recommend.

I am so happy to have found Glow! I do Nexgen. They have more colors than anyone I have seen. Every tech I have had does a wonderful job. I never have to wait, it takes me longer to figure out what color I want!

The work is so beautiful! I paid ober 80$ with tip. After i checked the recipes i realized they had already taken a tip for themselves. Dont mind to much beacuse there work is almost perfect. Would definitely check everything thou. They also say one price and i always end up paying wayyyy more.

I have been going to Glo for months for my nexgen, pedicures and lashes. EVERYONE is so nice and friendly and the facilities are extremely clean. Charlie always does a great job with my Nexgen nails. When is comes to my eyelashes, MISHI IS AMAZING!! I have been getting my lashes done for years and have gone to multiple places, but I love Mishi at Glo! She is the sweetest and does such an amazing job. I don’t feel like she’s in a rush like other places I have gone to. She takes the time to make my lashes look amazing every single time!! Even better, her pricing is very competitive and affordable. You need to go see her!

My mom called in asking to get my nails fixed from when I had gone a few days prior and they were so nice and understanding!! I got my nails redone by Christine and she did exactly what I wanted and they absolutely fantastic! Everyone was so nice and very helpful. I will definitely be returning soon.

If I could do ZERO STAR i would. Taylor is rude. I left without my nails being done because Taylor had an issue with my son. My son was a bit fussy but nothing wild. She asked me if I wanted another appointment. NO TAYLOR. She was rude to another customer prior to her comments to me. Asking her to move from the chair since she was done. If this is the people that work here I would rather go 1 minute further down the street for my nails.

This is an amazing local business and with a women business owner at the Helm who has happy hard workers! Go girl power! My friend and I started coming here as soon as it opened. Its tricky to find because it faces away from 423, but it is located just in front of Flix Brewhouse. Since opening the experience is the best Ive had at any nail salon! Once you have experienced an amazing pedicure (and I always get a manicure too!) sit and relax with a fun cocktail it seems like a mini vacation. Love it!Try it, but make a reservation its that good!!!!

We just love the staff here. The owner is super nice and really cares about this community. I just love the décor and the look of this place. I enjoy coming here every time. Last time I was here, they did this really creative Chanel inspired red hombre.. they really went all out for me! Love love this place.

This was my first time at GLOW and I have to say I was so, so pleased! I had the pleasure of being sat with Christine. She was extremely friendly and convinced me to try NexGen nails, as I’d only ever had gel in the past. She took her time on prepping and shaping my nails and I’m convinced these are the best my nails have ever looked! I will definitely be back and have been fully converted to NexGen after seeing the quality of her manicure. Thank you so much, Christine, and the friendly staff at GLOW! 💕

This was my third visit to glo nail bar and I have never been happier with my nails. The salon is beautiful and the customer service has always been great. Kevin does my nails and he always does a fantastic job. This is my go to place for nails from now on.

I love this place!! Ive been to several other nail salons in the area and they are all overpriced and extremely slow. I was so happy when this placed opened. They are always very friendly and have great specials during the weekday. Tam is amazing! I will never let anyone else touch my nails except for him. He does amazing work and is very fast. My nails last 3-4 weeks whenever he does them.

Nicky was exceptional and it is a lavish establishment with affordable services...I will be returning and maybe next time try a mixed drink from the full bar.

Needed to get my nails done and thought i’d try a new place so when i walked in I dress that it was my first time being there and I was immediately seated The wait was not that long but I didn’t mind because I had to pick my color out anyways in the end my nails turned out beautiful I’m so happy with the way they look but I did schedule a lash appointment the next day and I’m not very happy about that at all I paid $115 just to get my lashes done only for them to fall out the next day

I have gotten my nails done twice in the last couple of weeks. First I went to see Kevin to get my nails done for my trip to Mardi Gras. Showed him a inspo picture and he made it his mission to give me the nails I wanted. I absolutely loved the results and got tons of compliments. Then I came in to get my nails redone. I got Christine as my technician. I showed her an inspo picture and she helped me find the right colors to get the look I was after. They turned out perfect. They are the right length and the color is amazing. I am very happy with the services I received.

This salon has been a relaxing staycation for me every two weeks!! Kevin handles my NextGen each time and is very thorough. He recommends various colors and even a great Christmas gold finger during the holidays. My nails look good for at least three weeks and get lots of compliments.Not only is he professional, he is very personable. He knows all about my family and asks about them each and every time. That is pretty special! I highly recommend this salon for your spa needs.Everyone that has done my pedicure are super sweet and professional. This is the place to go to.

Came back from Oklahoma to see Kevin “the King” and once again he never fails to take care of me. I get the Nexgen nails and I love them every single time.This place is a go-to spot and this is not the cocktail talking but that’s good too there.

Eh...average service, average prices. Other than the beauty of the brand new salon, I wasn’t impressed at all by the service I received or the customer service. I was asked to pay while sitting in the pedicure chair, before my service was complete...maybe it was procedure but it was a bit of a turnoff. The salon itself is gorgeous but times are competitive and they didn’t hit the bar for high quality service or customer service.

My nails turned out okay but I’ve definitely have had way better ones. When he was filing my nails it cut my cuticle and the rest of my fingers were inflamed. My nails did last me a long time which why I’m giving them a three star. 😐

Loved my experience at Glow Nail Bar! Everyone was very attentive and friendly.

Very clean salon with a nice layout. Not impressed with my Nexgen set. There prices are competitive with other salons in the area, however there are hidden charges that drive up the price. Make sure to read the add on section on the back of the price list.

Loved this place, friendly staff, complimentary drinks and a wide variety of choices for nails. My nexgen lasted well over a month without fading, chipping or breaking and the pedicures are wonderful. This is definitely my new nail spot.

I have desperately been trying to find that one nail salon that I love, they always take care of me to the fullest, beautiful selections of colors and great artists and I think GLO nail bar is the one!! I have loved Kimmies work ever since she was at BB nails. also, I highly recommend Tam. I’m going to have to switch off who does my nails because Kimmie and Tam are both amazing!!!!

I got NexGen with Kristine, she took her time and gave me more than what I expected for my first time trying out the place. Pedicure was great as well. Great drinks and customer friendly. I consider them my new fav spot 💛

The salon itself is very nice, and the customer service was great..However I wanted pink and white done-My nails are very uneven and crooked. I am very picky and do not feel that these were done well at all. Nice place but the nail techs arent the best.

I love glow nail bar

Beautiful nail bar but pedicures were rushed. I came in with two of my daughters on Monday the 8th at 3pm. I got a cucumber pedicure and my daughters both got classic. The nail tech pinched my cuticle and when I complained ahe said I didnt cut you and rushed through the rest of my service. I live really close but will NOT be back!Nicole ThomasFrisco Resident

The staff was friendly and curtous. That had a great variety of drinks and awesome amenities. Love the cleanliness and massage chairs. Great price for the service.

Love this place. Everybody is friendly and the nail technicians are talented. A little pricey but for certain services but worth it!

With all the options around...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!*Wife was told she could use the 20% off coupon for both her and our daughter in law and then at checkout they would only allow one.*Asked for French tip and they did solid. My wife stopped her and she argued with her and said, oh well...sorry. Refused to fix it.*Showed them the design she wanted on toes and they did the wrong one.*Did not ask for a pedicure but they gave her one and charged her anyway.*Were rude and condescending.*Quoted one price and then charged her more.LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKE!
