Normally I wouldn’t care enough to leave a review, but this was the absolute worst job anyone has ever done on my nails. I went in for something simple, to have the dip powder nails that I had done somewhere else removed. Seems easy enough right? The first red flag was that the technician removing my nails immediately started grinding them down, without soaking in acetone first. I even asked her why she was doing this, and she assured me it was fine. She was dismissive and even seemed to think it was funny that I was asking her this simple question. I left the salon with my nails extremely scuffed, weak, and damaged. Fast forward a whole month later and my nails are STILL damaged from the one bad decision I made to go here. I get dip nails regularly and my nails have never been this bad. If you value the health of your nail beds, DO NOT GO HERE. Unfortunately I’m still paying the price weeks later. Unprofessional, disappointing, and absolutely terrible job done on a simple task.

I was charged $138 for gel manicure and pedicure. They are either extremely over priced or ripping people off. Under my nails were not smoothed out. Very lumpy. Everyone was nice but I feel it was a distraction.

I always love going there I get a massage I get a manicure and pedicure they do really great job I have a special lady that I always go to she always do me right.

Im visiting my family from out of town and came in with my mom. I just wanted a simple gel manicure and my mom just wanted to sit with me. Well, while I was sitting there getting my nails done, these women started making fun of my moms feet and talking about how horrible they looked amongst some other rude comments. Usually you dont have a customer fluent in your language but today there was. Never coming here ever again!

She promised my nails wouldn’t chip like other place and would last three weeks. They chipped a week in and my other hand as well. My pedicure the lady used a towel to wipe her foot then placed it on my chair. My toes have chipped too. I will not be going back I paid 110.00 for dip and a basic pedicure. My nails are lifting and it just the worst job I ever had done. They also harassed me to get more services, add on and upgrade. The man was yelling and one was hovering over the technicians if I wasn’t leaving the next morning I would have went somewhere else very uncomfortable.

I started with one woman and she kept pushing an aloe vera pedicure and when I told her I didnt want to spend that much she then switched with another woman who continued my pedicure. She also pushed me more expensive pedicure for several minutes and when I finally told her no and to stop asking, she was pretty rude from that point on. It was not worth my money. They also have a sign that says they give a discount for paying cash, which I was not given. I wont be going back. Luckily there are millions of nail salons in our nice city.

I have been going to this nail salon for a little while but, my experience with them today was less than pleasurable. The two women doing my manicure and pedicure seemed more interested in talking than giving me a timely service; I spent almost THREE hours in the chair. They didn’t even give me the color I wanted because they appeared too lazy to go up and check the number I had chosen; I didn’t even receive the shape of nail I asked for. The one woman kept wanting to talk when I just wanted to relax and both of the women felt the need to comment on my skin. I don’t have the best skin and it is a huge insecurity of mine and the last thing I want brought to my attention is the acne on my face. I never give reviews but my personal space felt violated and I didn’t receive the service I was hoping for. I do not think I will be returning to this salon.

I scheduled an appointment online the evening of my appointment. When I arrived, I was told they were closed. The nice lady at the desk looked at the clock, to which I responded I am happy to reschedule if there’s been a mistake. She told me to go wash my hands and they’ll be glad to take me. That was a little strange, but then Brittany sat me in her chair and all my frustration and confusion went out the window. She was wonderful and I’ll definitely return, during the day. I’m very happy with my nails!

Loved it there! Had a pedicure and Manicure! Best treatment ever! Expensive but definitely worth it! I will be going back!

Let me just say I’ve been to a lot of nail salons and this by far is the best. Johnny did a amazing job on my nails and also gave a shoulder rub. Mindy did my pedicure and she was amazing as well. They were very attentive and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The best part is they didn’t rush they took their time and my nails look amazing. I will definitely be coming back as a regular customer.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!I got a full set of (nexgen & polish toes) the nail tech did not do my nails evenly compared with my other hand & the difference is noticeable. They refused to fix my nails & told me I would have to pay for a full set again???(What!! I paid $60 for my services yesterday.)Then they proceeded to tell me that the nail tech would not arrive until 12pm... they open at 9am. I highly doubt a nails tech does not show up until lunch hours.Save your money, do not waste it on this unprofessional, unfriendly, money hungry staff!)

I went in to get my nails done and was told to wait 10 minutes......I was there for 2 hours and then at the end the guy at the register was mad at my tip amount im like the service sucked I was there for a total of 3 hours would have paid more for better service.

My daughter and I walked into this facility in desperate need of a mani and pedi. We were leaving the next day on vacation. When we arrived we made an appointment before hand to wait 20mins. Two women began to argue with each other in a very loud manner in front of my daughter and the rest of the people in the nail salon.I almost walked out because of how awkward it was in the room. My daughter was 7 and I told her to stay by me out of fear for what was going on between the two women.I stayed despite all of that and I should have known but I was desperate. They started on my daughter first and did her mani and pedi I waiting 20 more minutes just to wait on my pedi. They cut my daughters toe and said nothing about it. It is still bothering her to wear I need to go to a doctor.I can’t express how bad our experience was. Don’t try this place. No one even came over to do my manicure and no apologies were given.Worst nail experience and I have been to a lot of places.

This shop makes prices up at the top of their head and they’re certainly not worth their work. My poorest experience was when I came in for a fill the woman began to shave my nails down removing the old polish. I already told her I wanted a fill with a regular polish change.She tried numerous times to convince me for gel polish I declined all times.she began yelling out to her manager her manager responded multiple timesI was given a book with nail colors multiple times and still decided on the same color white.She tried one last time and so i told her again i did not want Gel polish she became frustrated stop working with me packed up her cart and said her manager would finish my nails. After sitting there watching multiple walk in customers and still no new nail tech I decided to leave and will not ever return again.

Very poor customer service and extremely high prices! Nail techs laughed and talked about customers in their faces (in another language), which is extremely rude. Chairs were not clean and towels had stains and appeared to have been used previously. I did note anyone cleaning the entire two hours I was there. I will never return to this business again.

Went to this salon to get my first manicure set in 8 years. I asked for an ombré pink/white set. They told me Michelle does the best pink/white so Michelle worked with me. I showed them my inspiration photo and she mimicked it perfectly with the dip powder set. Absolutely amazing. I can’t stop staring at my nails 😍😍 I told her over and over that they were amazing. Highly recommend giving her a visit if you’re looking for a new set of nails!! All staff were super friendly and helpful!

I love going here! Nina is amazing and super sweet and gives great suggestions.Last time I was in, she asked I had wanted the color I picked darker or lighter. The one I picked was lighter than I wanted. She found the perfect one and this is my new favorite color!!!

Service here is great. They removed my acrylic nails. Applied cream and gave me a hand massage and nail polish. They offer soft drinks and wine.

All I have to say is never again! Spend here at your own risk. If you ever have a complaint expect to be disrespected and disappointed at the same time.

The pedicurist did a phenominal job on my feet. Got all the dead skin 😆, great massage, and polish job. Her name was Hue, and she was very pleasant even with the language barrier 😉. The manicurist, Linh, was pleasant as well, she made conversation, and does a great job at trying to upsell 😏. She paid attention to detail and wanted to make sure my nails were very neat. Havent decided if Im going back though, because I dont feel like the tools and place were that clean.

My second time coming to Cowboys Nail Bar, and my first time getting my feet done here. Jon did my nails and gave me a beautiful Nex Gen manicure. The salon got pretty busy shortly after I arrived, but Jon was very attentive while also making sure everyone was taken care of. Shaun did my delux pedicure and added the gorgeous Mermaid Dust to my feet for FREE!! I had a wonderful visit. If you want to get pampered, this is the place. Il be back shortly for the Ultimate spa pedicure. My brows came out amazing too! Il be coming here regularly.

Aggressive & rude. I visited this location a couple of days ago at the recommendation of one of my coworkers. I requested a nexgen manicure & pedicure. I selected my colors and was seated in a pedicure chair. There was a bit of wait which wasn’t a problem. When my techs started my services I was presented with a menu which only listed $65 pedicures. I asked if there were any other options and was told that I could get a $55 pedicure but that I should get the $65 pedicure because it was better. From that point I was continuously offered add on services. They were extremely pushy & very rude. When my $110 worth of services were completed, the pedicure tech proceeded to discuss my tip with the man who was taking my payment. Vickie did a great job on my manicure but the “hot stones” used during my pedicure were cold and it wasn’t a good service at all. I wouldn’t mind having my nails done here again but most likely I won’t be going back because of how money hungry the staff behaved.

I will never return. Staff is rude and yelled at me for them messing up my pedicure. They also gave everyone a new beverage and me a un-used beverage that was already in chair.

I will not be returning to this location. Check in was fine, and our service started as soon as we walked in. But the cleanliness is questionable. One of the nail technicians TOUCHED MY FACE AND MOVED MY HEAD with her bare hands to make a joke to my friend that I needed my brows done. She also went from doing my manicure to polishing my friends toes WITHOUT washing her hands, so who knows where her hands have been. Will never be returning, because that was unacceptable.

Ive been in this area for 2 years and I refuse to go anywhere but cowboys nail bar. I have no complaints. Ive only had great experiences!

I gave this place THREE chances. First 2 times i was completely ignored for over 10 mins at check in so i left. Third time i was left on a back chair with no update for over 10 mins again after waiting 10 at check in. Ill never be back again.

If I could give zero stars I would. I will never come back to this nail salon. I got my nails done yesterday by Michelle, the clear top coat was too thick and dried with bubbles in it before I even left the nail salon but I didn’t complain because overall they look fine. I bent a nail shortly after I left causing a painful crack. I came back in the next day (today) asking if I could get my nail fixed since I cracked one. I came in planning on paying to have my one nail fixed. 3 employees stood over me telling me it’s not their fault my nail is cracked, I’m well aware of that, like I said I cracked my own nail and just wanted it fixed. 1 nail tech put acetone on my nail (taking off the clear top coat), then put nail glue on top and told me to come back in 2 days so Michelle can fix it. I had a simple Acrylic American Manicure set, super plain and simple style that should’ve been easy to take off and replace.

I went to Cowboys Nail Bar in Plano on Thursday with my boyfriend. He had a better experience than I did. I got a pedicure and polish change. It was by far one of the worst pedicures I’ve ever received. Although the woman doing my pedicure was very nice, the whole staff was nice, she gave the worst pedicure. She didn’t really scrub my feet and the massage wasn’t a massage at all. Then my nails chipped the very next day. Chipped so badly that I have to do them again myself. And the paint job was lackluster. I would definitely NOT recommend this spot for your mani/pedi. Super disappointing after spending over $50 for my services.

Just delightful for adults and littles. Took the granddaughters, had a lovely outting.

I havent been to a single nail salon where I have been treated so well. They take their time and the pedicure and massages are amazing! They do everything they can to accommodate youre wanting. A cockroach crawled out of the nail light as tech put it on my lap. No soap in the bathroom and she didnt sanitize her cuticle clips after using them. Will never go back.

I specifically requested just a plain old manicure on my natural nails, nothing extra. When the Nail Tech started working on my hands I repeated my request that I only wanted a plain manicure. She asked me several times if I wanted gel on my nails and I told her no thank you. Then she asked me if I wanted paraffin and I told her no. Then she asked me if I wanted collagen mask on my hands, and again I told her no thank you. At that point she turned to her co-worker next to her and started speaking in an angry tone in a language I do not know. I asked her what language she was speaking and what she was saying because I did not understand and I was the client in front of her. She turned back to me and angrily said as she was mad because I did not buy any of the things she tried to sell me. I paid my bill and I included a tip but I will not go back.

Hours are super flexible here. Great location and the staff was amazing. My nails were super cute.

I came in today for a pedicure and gel nails. Lee did my pedicure and he was very friendly, courteous, and professional. I really liked that he asked me if I was satisfied with each step of the process before moving on to the next one. James did my gel nails and he was kind and did a really good job too. I am very satisfied with my services today, and on top of that the environment was clean and relaxing. I will definitely be coming back to see these guys.

I got My nails done in gel polish over lay 3 days later nails start peeling off maybe they need better quality in polish but I will never go here for services .

I went here the day before my birthday to get a my nails done and a pedicure. Michelle, did my pedicure and she did a good job. However, the man that did my nails did a horrible job. My nails were uneven and he insisted that my fingers were crooked. I showed him again that my nails were on uneven and he finally took the time to fix them. I should have mad him fix the gaps on the side of my nails but I just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Maybe four of my nails had gaps on the side and one nail had a gap from the bottom to the top. Not to mention this man cut me several times buffing out my nails. I believe even my pedicurist notice how bad of a job he did because she told me next she would do my nails. Such a horrible experience that I will not go back again.

Shawn did an amazing job on my nails! 2 different colors with an ombré nail! He took my idea and made it look even better! His wife Jackie did my eyebrows perfect! Not to thin and great shape. Definitely will be back to see these two!!!

Favorite nail techs provide beautiful and fast results. They are always very accommodating and professional. I just wish they carried more gel nail polish colors. Considering a color change at another salon.

Very unhappy with service last two visits. Last coat applied and technician provided instruction on how many times to place hands in UV lights and proceeded to her next client. When done I felt polish felt sticky but my technician did not come back. The technician next to me noticed and went to find her and suggested she clean with alcohol. She did it against ber will, read the bottle instruction and left. When I mentioned to owner he suggested adding oil to get rid of sticky. Turned out nails were still wet and were damaged before the night ended. I was more upset at the way they handled my concerned not much so on the nails being damaged. I do not recommend nor will I go back even in an emergency due to poor customer service. Technician also commented about another customers drinking pattern while getting her nails done. Very unprofessional

I have visited this place with my mother in law to have girl time. It was nice, drinks were good and cold. They treated you nicely.

I have been coming to this location for almost 6 months now. I always have a great experience and the atmosphere is fantastic! Not to mention how convenient the location is to all the other shopping and entertainment in Frisco. Henry and Lee are my favorite and take the time to ensure you are satisfied with every step they do before moving on to the next. As always, I’ll be back!

I love this nail bar—I have been a regular since 2013 and have had pedicures, manicures, and now twice-monthly NexGen nails. The atmosphere is nice and the service terrific. My nails look wonderful—and I can go practically any time of day. Ann is my mainstay and she is super. But, I dont think you can go wrong with any provider here, and Ive had others who were terrific: talent surrounds talent. Ive also had eyebrow waxing here—nicely done and so convenient. Lastly, love the free wine.The salon is recently under new management and they are very friendly. I have never encountered a rude provider. They all seem to know when I just need to relax or may want to chat. Ive never had poor service, and Ive never been refused to have a chipped nail fixed for free (by anyone, but of course its best to recall your manicurist) within the time quoted for the service.

Walked into nail bar. First they dont have nail stations so youre having to sit uncomfortably in a pedicure seat to have your nails done. Second the woman who did my nails was using the buffing machine and looked away which in turn she clipped my skin and made my nail bleed, which then she thought it was a good idea to then dip my finger in alcohol. Third they give 10% discount for students (its notated on the door) and I handed the front desk guy my student ID to which he said he would only give me 5%, I told him on the door it says 10...he didnt care and only gave me 5. Fourth I could tell it was all about getting people in and out, which is why the woman who did my nails was distracte seeing how many people were coming in. MY ADVICE - Dont Go!

I will never come to the place for nails again. They over charged me for a full set. There was an upcharge on everything. I felt uncomfortable because they were trying to offer me services every 5 minutes. I only wanted a full set and it looks awful! The nails were very short and crooked! The color even looks different from the one I picked. My nail tech was cussing and very unprofessional! Not even two days later my nails were lifting. On the fifth day one nail came off easily. When I removed my nails for a new set they came off within seconds. The only good service they offer is open late. But no not worth it at all!!!! oh and they have no tables for customers that only want their nails done so you have to sit in a uncomfortable pedicure chair.... DO NOT GO TO COWBOY NAIL BAR!!!!!!!

NEVER AGAIN. The man that did my nails made them crooked, lumpy, made me bleed and blamed not only the woman doing my pedicure but also blamed me for moving. I moved because he filed skin off my finger and made me bleed. They are so uneven I HAD to fix them. The woman that did my eyebrows said they were messed up, which they were not. I had finally got my eyebrows to the thickness I wanted and she messed them up by giving me skinny pencil brows.*Update* some of my real nails hurt as if the nail they put on was too small**To your reply, it was not just one of your services. My eyebrows are MESSED UP, nails looked BAD and the girl that did my pedicure didnt even ask how I wanted my toes. So she rounded them and they look like a childs toe nails. NOT HAPPY with the WHOLE experience

Decided to try this place on a Friday afternoon, I walked in and stood at the front desk for about 15 minutes nobody acknowledged me and after finally getting someones attention all they said was to pick a color and write it down.. On a sticky tab? Okay thats fine I understand its Friday and most people are busy. My service was very good, but it was the fact that not even a day after my nails chipped and I had gotten gel nail manicure which last longer than regular polish. Okay, drove down there the next day my nail tech fixed them for free and apologized, two days after another two nails chipped!! I cant keep coming back for chipped nails. I go after work to get the fixed and nobody there welcomed me. I get a different nail tech and she seems to be upset for having to fix someone elses mistakes but she cant take that out on me when I am a paying customer and paid a large amount for nails and I have to keep coming back to get them fixed. But thats fine, I dont mind driving 40 minutes to someone who will actually do a better job ive been doing my nails for many years and this place was not up to my standards.

Ive never had a problem there. Nina has been doing my nails for over 10 years now, and she does a GREAT job!!! I love her and my nails always look beautiful. Everyone else is always friendly as well. Ive never once been treated in a rude manner by anyone.

Wouldn’t recommend any LGBT (male) members here. I stood at the desk for several minutes and was only looked at, not even a “hi” or “ can I help you”.... however an older woman walked in a few minutes later and was greeted nicely. I guess they only cater to a “certain” clientele.

I should have reviewed the ratings first. I liked that they had a hostess to keep things flowing well. As a result, the wait wasnt long & it felt less chaotic. Brandon, who did my pedicure, was nice & respectful. However, I didnt think it was a superb job. Contrastly, I had a manicurist who was rather cantankerous & spoke English, but chose not to introduce herself nor did she ask my preferences along the way. My Manicure was horrid & I cant bring myself to look at my hands because I relive the experience all over again. When asked if they could fix-it, everyone said it couldnt be done & did not offer me any recompense. I asked for my eyebrows to be done as well, but didnt realize that they did not do it until after I left. I called back and told them that they had forgotten to do my eyebrows & stated that I was disappointed in their customer service. They still did not offer me anything, but responded, Sorry, you can come back so we can do your eyebrows. I did not return because I could not bring myself to give them anymore money for such poor customer service. I love the idea of being open later, but I think Ill give Cowboys Nail Bar in PLANO a try before I darken the door of this place again.

Great pedicure and my first ever dip manicure! Ladies were gentle and did a perfect job. They got me and three friends in immediately and we were all pleased with our nails.

Do Not do business here!! I usually visit this place for a pedicure when I am I town. Tonight, Sandy took an extremely HOT towel out of a bag and tightly wrapped it around my left foot. She did not test the towel herself before putting it on me. The towel burned me so badly! When I complained to the manager john about it he did apologize but then told me that when you come to nail places that you can expect things like that to happen. He then told me to take my medical bills to an attorney and Sue him for it. I will never come back to this place again.

No greeting just told to pick a color then waited for 30 minutes without updates about the wait. Zero customer service. This place use to be fast with more employees. Not sure what happened but not planning to return.

The front desk was quite nice... Before you read this negative review I just wanted to say I didn’t want to complain to the manager about my experience... I walked in and waited for 15-20 minutes... Then the person who did my nails twisted my fingers, rushed the process so much that there’s so much product under my nails!!! She did two coats of nail polish which is fine it’s iust she missed some spots where it’s super clear.. She did not care about my feelings at all and she was definitely not gentle... I get my nails done every two weeks and I wanted to go somewhere new... Definitely regret it. Not only was the service awful but the nails cost me a starting price for $40... I don’t even like my nails but i still paid for the nails and tipped. Definitely would not recommend this place unless you’re looking for sore fingers and ugly nails.

The quality of service is very hit or miss. Makes me sad because I kept giving them chances to make it right. Today I went in for an appointment to have have two dipped nails replaced that had lifted off after just a week and I was asked to wait 15 minutes because they didnt have anyone to take care of me. 15 minutes does not seem like a long time, but I specifically made the appointment because I needed to get to work immediately after.

The management and staff are all completely awesome. Friendly, communicative with good English skills, helpful, kind, and very VERY attentive to one’s needs.Extremely high recommendation!!

I went to Cowboys Nail Bar during my lunch break just to get a file and shaping since Ill be going out of town tomorrow. Not knowing that I speak/and am fluent in Vietnamese, the nail technician called me the B word to other coworkers complaining that I asked for a file and shaping. She kept repeating to the front desk person to have charged me more, that the young lady should have quoted me a more expensive rate since I asked her to file my nails. When she said this in Vietnamese, I responded in English and told her that she can charge me more if shed like but just make it look nice. She stared at me and looked confused. Keep in mind that my whole visit took under 5 minutes for this service. She charged me $5, and I tipped her $5. At the end, I spoke in Vietnamese and English to let her know that I understood everything and that it was very rude and unprofessional of her to call me out of my name for a service that I requested when I walked in. I didnt ask for anything more. Needless to say, the filing and nail trim was horrible!! This is making a long story short. HORRIBLE JOB!! HORRIBLE SERVICE!

If you have nothing else to do, waste your time here. It took 2.5 hours for a fill!!! The guy who did my nails had to run to target in the middle of my service!! I came with my sister and cousin who were done with their pedi waiting on me for my fill and I started before them. I was charged extra without knowing either. This place isnt that clean either. I dont think theres one good thing I can say besides the hours are extremely convenient.

DO NOT get gel done here. The gel curled up on the edges of my fingernail within 2-3 days, I went back to have them redone only to have the same thing happen that same week. The gel here is not applied correctly or their formula isn’t of great quality. The manager/staff are all very nice, The dip powder is a much better option here, they do a beautiful dip job but not gel.

This is the worst treatment Ive ever received at a nail salon. I went yesterday and got gel on my nails. First it was done poorly and every nail was uneven and jagged. So I asked them to fix it and the manager guy comes to fix it. Except he brings the tool used to shave your nails for putting next gen or fake nails. He starts shaving the edges to make them look smooth and CUTS my skin on one of my nails. Literally my skin starts to bleed immediately and I tell him that Im bleeding and he looks at it and just says oh. Then he continues and puts OIL on my fingers and on my cut!! Cuticle oil on an bleeding open would. I will never go back here and warning everyone to stay away. Absolutely horrible. If I get some disease from this youll see a lawsuit coming.

Great PROMPT service. Excellent job on my dip nails at a reasonable price. My only complaint is the acetone smell was really strong.

Wanted to show my mom this place and I haven’t gotten my nails done in years so I was excited to go. My mother had amazing care and the lady was so sweet. I had the exact opposite experience; my lady was rough, rude, scoffed at me, rushed through it, and the finish product is bumpy

I normally go to cowboy nail bar because I love the late hours they have and I always receive great service, until the other day. I was upset and disgusted that they have the nerve to ask for $10 more for a certain nail cut. Meanwhile 3 weeks before I went in last, I asked for the stiletto nail cut and was not charged $10 more. Every time I walk out of Cowboy nail bar I feel like I am getting ripped off because the prices are sky high. I am no longer going to cowboys nail bar in the future.

If I could give zero stars I would! We called prior to coming asked prices for acrylic full set quoted $35 and asked about basic pedicure and quoted $27...there was three of us, two of which are about to have babies and just wanted to relax. The price quoted after service started is $40 for full set and minimum $35 for pedicure which is basic AF nothing special and didnt even scrub feet to get rid off any dead skin. My lady walked away and to go do brows for someone else and told me the pedicure was $55...like how did it almost double? As I started to get my pedicure the water was cold I asked 4 times to make it hotter then I suddenly got a new tech that emptied the water and put in scolding hot water and walked away, the tech beside my chair had to turn it off. They were so incredibly rude and have absolutely no customer service skills. We are both 9 months pregnant and they didn’t even bother giving us the remotes for the chairs to use the massagers I had to get hers and mine. They didnt make this enjoyable or relaxing at all. We have waited so long to do this before we go into labor and it was a very big disappointment. I honestly wanted to get up and leave but I was with two other friends. I wont be back that is for sure! The only good thing here is that they are open late but I would rather go anywhere else at 6 am then here. Its been the most awful experience! Save your money and go anywhere else! My friend got the exact same pedicure as me yet hers was $5 more Wtf?!? So over this place! We tried telling them how unhappy we were and how we were quoted a different price and the lady basically said we called somewhere else...yet the same google search I used to get the address was the same place for the phone number...so she basically called us liars. Seriously stay away this place is a rip off and not an enjoyable experience.

Im not one to usually write reviews but here we go. I got the $30 pedicure and a nexgen set. The young man, Brandon, who was doing my pedicure was probably around the same age as me, something like seventeen to twenty years old. Seemed to be somewhat new to everything but he did a pretty good job and I understand theres a learning process to everything so no big deal there. The woman doing my nails on the other hand, was very rough on my cuticles and drew blood on all but two of my fingers. Its the next day and I have scabs on some of the cut-up areas. I tried to be relaxed and still to avoid this as well. Also when pulling out her interchangeable files that go into the filing tool they use, I noticed they were in an rather beaten-looking altoids can and was rather dusty like the files and the can hadnt been cleaned in some time, which worries me a little because thats what she cut me with so it makes me think I could possibly get an infection. Also she didnt listen too my requests. I told her I wanted to add tips for a tad bit more length in order to get a natural looking, rounded tip after they were filed down. Me, not really being one to argue against the word of a trained professional, did not add the tips, like she recommended. I ended up disliking the length of my nails and they ended up being more squared off than I usually like. First time here, I may give it another try to see if this was just an off experience but based on rating and reviews, which I should have vowed before hand, Im not so sure.

Ive patronized Cowboy Nails a handful of times, the quality and service is hit or miss. My last visit I waited over 15 minutes while watching the nail techs chat near the register, and received a quick poor quality pedi. I much prefer COSMO NAILS across the street now.

I should have gone with my instincts when I sat down..... it just didn’t look clean like I was used toSure enough both my daughter and I ended up with athletes foot. .... always go with your gut!!
