Great complex!!! Its stays clean and have weekly lawn care. It is a dog friendly environment with doggie bags dispensers . Maintenance is very good and professional . They come very fast soon as you make a work order .This is a quiet complex with security on site and there is a zero tolerance for disturbances . Our on site manager Andrea is very good ! She is professional and takes pride in serving her residents.

Andrea is the rudest person ive ever met shes only nice to certian ppl . ive moved out and when i went bck to get my mail she called me out of my name shes very unprofessional . i would like to speak to someone higher then her i have audio of her speaking so rudely and unprofessional

These apartments are nice and the grounds are always clean. The manager Andrea is amazing!! They dont allow any nonsense to go on like loitering, loud parties etc. If your inconsiderate and bother your neighbors trust and believe you will get told to leave.The only negative thing Id say would be that if you have an after hours or weekend maintenance issue theres really no one to contact and you probably will get stuck waiting tell the office re-opens to make a request for maintenance to come out. Work orders always get handled quick though so thats a plus.

I’ve lived here for five years and this place is well kept up. We have pest control weekly so there’s no excuse for roaches! Manager is strict and always taking care of any craziness that occurs. maintenance is always on top of issues so I don’t have to wait weeks fo a work order! I’ve read the reviews but I can honestly tell You being an actual tenant here it’s all miss leading! I love this place and I recommend it to anyone to come and visit and see for your self what a wonderful place it is!

Ive lived here for over 10 years and Ive never had any problems. The management is really nice, helpful and understanding. They fix any issues I may have really fast and they keep the grounds clean and the grass areas green.

I love this place! I moved here in 2013 and couldnt be happier. The management handles business, so the previous bad comments surprise me. Just for the record, I do not have pest control issues and never have. They do annual mandatory sprays and offer weekly sprays to EVERYONE. I have a huge 2 bedroom apartment with a beautiful view over the pool. The landscaping is to die for, its like a tropical oasis! My neighbors are amazing, I know not just my next door neighbor, but ALL 7 apartments next to mine, completely unheard of these days. The maintenance men are top notch! They fix any and all issues in a very timely matter. The entire staff is friendly and bend over backwards for us. Overall, I would recommend Carmel Crest to anyone whos looking for a wonderful place to call home!

My kids love it here! There is so much green grass where they can play on. I feel very safe with my kids in this complex is gated and clean. I dont understand how people talk bad about management if they had always made me and my family feel very welcome, they take care of everything we need and ask for. Over all I am very happy living here I dont have any problem nor with the neighbors or with any pest control. I really recommend this place the staff rocks!

For my this is the BEST place to live, beautiful grounds, surrounded by a GREAT landscaping and my lovely trees... The management are incredible, always giving their best and running the extra mile for us, their residents, so we can be more than happy, the guys from maintenance also great, always respectful, quick on fixing their work orders... In a few words the WHOLE team are amazing!!! The sad part, sorry for saying this, but are Only some residents that never seem to been happy, this people (management) work really hard to keep things looking nice, but some residents seen just... to dont care! As just only couple of facts, on Fridays by afternoon, a few hours away from managements office been closed for the weekend, you find yourself surrounded by litter everywhere, the locks from the gates all mess up, yes, the ones the management keeps fixing every week for the security of ALL OF US. I just want to ask this few residents: What is wrong with you? Dont you like to live in a nice and affordable place like this one? I think WE ALL need to do our part. And definitely will be 100% on favor to fine those few residents also for their visitors and their kids, to be fined for littering, destroying, no picking after their dogs, etc, and if they claim that they dont have money... So you can be fine with time to cleaning around during the weekend, sorry but its not excuse to help keep this beautiful place nice and clean. And if you like to be trashy is plenty of trash cans that you will be more than happy to live in.

I been living here for awhile now and my stay been very pleasant, I mean a fast and very efficient staff and crew members was a great surprise and very appreciated ! Everyone who I meet are very helpful and friendly ! From the office to the maintenance employees .The grounds are keeps up nicely ! I would definitely recommend!

I love my Apartment I have lots of space. My neighbors are great and calm. I have been living here for a while and I have love it so much. I have had bad experience with other apartment complex and I was kind of scared of having the same issues but I am glad I trusted my instinct I was not wrong about Carmel Crest. The staff is great and always taking care of my needs

Let me Just say the staff is great here it’s close too my work and the kids school it’s nice too have a place too call home here but I know in five more years we will have our house but for now this place rocks

I have been living in these apartments for over a month, and I love it. I am a single mother, and I feel very safe and secure here. The property is very clean and well taken care of. The managers Rita and Andrea are so sweet and helpful.

When I come home it’s late but it’s not noise like other places I’ve lived before and the staff is great me and my wife are glad too call this place home and very soon our child will live it here

Those apartments are roach infested.And the dont like to fix whats broken. Kids running around no supervision. Just ghetto. They have shooting sometimes.

I just moved in and its soooo much better than my last place. A real rat trap. My apartment has a nice view and the place is kept up really well. No complaints. I dig it!!!

I have been reading these reviews and as a person who has been living in this complex since 2006 I can honestly say that these tenants must have a hidden agenda. The place has gone through major renovations and yes it is Section 8 but it is one of the nicest complexes in the area. Roaches? What apartment/house in California doesnt have some pest problem? Yes sometimes there are when some of your neighbors live a somewhat unclean environment. Who is at fault for that? Having a pest control service that comes out every month keeps everything in check. I personally dont have roaches because I keep my place clean and dont live food out.The greens and walkways are pristine and the management are more than nice with all requests from my wife & myself..

My neighbor constantly blare loud music throughout the night and day.Cockroaches from the neighbors come constantly to my kitchen, with not much food in it at all. I dont know what attract them. But they are EVERYWHERE.Worst of all, the manager rips you off when you leave, adding a bunch of apartment and carpet cleaning fee in excess of $200 even it has been thoroughly cleaned and steamed.

Between the loud disrespectful neighbors blasting music, the screaming kids, and the cock roaches, constant car break ins, the place is disgraceful and disgusting. Have had cockroaches since last August, cant seem to get rid of them. Neighbors lock their kids outside and the kids play sitting on our door step, quite loud, and try to open our apartment door.

Horrible experience here. I waited two months to move in and after my move in date they pushed back the date because the apartment wasnt up to their standards so I had to reschedule my cable installation and pg&e as well as stress out about someone covering my shift at work. Today was my move in date and did the walk through and is what they showed me was up to their standards thats very embarrassing. The apartment was filthy. It smelled so bad and was so dirty even though they supposedly cleaned it. They gave me an option to get my holding deposit back & as I was outside talking to my boyfriend the manager calls us inside and rudely tells us were just going to give you your deposit back so you can go look for somewhere else they didnt even care about a trying to work with a future resident but instead just kicked us out ON OUR MOVE IN DATE. I had to call and cancel the cable installation just 30 before the technician was supposed to arrive and had to call pg&e to cancel. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
