On the prowl for a nail place the does Dip manicures well as Im new to the area. While they did an okay job on my nails, I did not particularly like their system. I had to wait even though I had an appointment for a person to start, when she did, my hands were placed in bowl of cold acetone for what felt like too long. (I prefer soaking in a warm to hot solution.) I must say that the old dip came off very easily! While the nails look nice, the sides could have been sealed better. Additionally I like it when the top of the nail edge is sealed and smooth. Just my preference. Im glad I gave them a chance.

Dip nails with tip stayed and never broke for over 3 weeks. I had to take them off when they were getting too long. I was even able to file them down at the 2 week mark and use them longer, very strong nails. The only reason I have 4 stars is because either my fingers are crooked, or the nail tech made them look crooked. Either way I received many compliments and got good long use of the nails.

I been going here for years along with my kids. But recently my polish never dried and my pedicure was a complete disappointment. They do NOT have modern colors. They get offended if you complain!

This salon is in ridgmar Mall upstairs an Stella does a great job with pedicures.

When I got there I was seated than I waited for about 5-7min before a lady came to help me out I called before I came and asked for pricing they said pink and white 27 and solor with color 35 and I said okay but when I picked my color out she said it was 60 because they only do pre colored nails for 35 and it was about 18 colors but they were no colors Id ever wear and all the other colors were extra so Im giving them 1 start for poor advertising and pricing and the wait time to be helped. Tip* make the sale price clear on what is included if its on limited colors make that know before hand so your not starting with someone thinking they have a 35.00 order when its going to be 60+

Ive been coming here for years. This salon is super clean, extremely through with their work, and the staff are so friendly. I highly recommend modern nails. If you can its best to make a appointment.

I have been coming to James, Lynn and the gang since I was a child tag along on girls day with my mom, aunt and grandma! We all still come to them, no matter where they set up shop. They are wonderful people; so radiant and kind. They hire incredible staff who all do wonderful work. I visited today and Stella knocked it out of the park! She has such an eye for detail and can pinpoint problem areas without any prior direction. She is SO good at what she does. I highly recommend this salon to anyone that needs a premium mani/pedi experience.

Love this place! The owner is hilarious and super personable. Everyone there tries to make sure you have a nice and comfortable experience. I’ve only been going here for a few months now but I plan on making this my new regular nail salon.

I went in for the first time on Friday night. I was immediately greeted, sat, and told to pick a color. James was my nail tech and he was AMAZING! I never do pink and it looks so good. He was very polite and super friendly! Earlier today I accidentally broke one of my nails while I was at work, and he happily fixed it with no charge. You cant even tell it was broken or that its a fake nail. This is definitely my new go to salon. Highly recommend and 10/10 will definitely come back! Thank you so much guys, yall are AWESOME!

I have been going to the same tech, James, since February of 1998. When they moved from east Fort Worth to Ridgmar Mall on the west side, I followed them and will continue to go to them. They are like family after more than 19 years. No one does nails better. As far as I have noticed, all the techs there are very good at what they do. I cant imagine anyone ever having a complaint. First time visit for friend. She was over the top and enjoyed the pedi with massage and hot wax. The wine was a nice touch.

Horrible. Got my nails done and where the french tips were pressed against my nail bed, it left a space. Three major and 1 critical with the gel spots on one of them. Had to come to The Spa & Tea Garden and immediately they understood. So did not receive my money plus tip back but got constant foreign language and went through two techs from Modern Nails and was put to wait so i walked out. I am now being tended too. Took pictures to show as well.

Bad, I went to get a pedicure and asked for a manicure also and the girl who was doing my pedicure did everything in a hurry, then a guy I think is the manager or owner he started doing my manicure but in a hurry also did not even put my hands in water for a while everything was so fast that is wasnt good. Then the girl and they guy got mad at each other, so they hurry to finish the job without doing it right. My feet and my hands are supposed to feel soft and good, but not they feel dry, and my manicure is horrible. At the end she left and did not even said anything while he was finishing my hands, when he finished he left and did not say anything. They left me seated and never looked at me again, so I was so confused about it. I didntt know what I was supposed to do, because they didnt said anything or fixed my seat, or said we are done thank you, nothing, they just left so unrespectful. So not recomending this place. Wasted 35 dollars for a horrible time and pedicure, manicure... also they do not use sterilized tools as I could see, they do not clean or sterilized the tools, am sad.

I asked the person to cut my nails lilttle bit and the person ended up cutting full grown nails and then says that now filing is tough and shape cant be given. I really hated the service no professionalism. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The lady that did my nails didnt scub my feet good enough. And then they told me they charge extra for clear nail polish. Thats stuip when you are paying 30 dollars for your nails. Wont go back!!!

I just wasted $48 on the worst set of nails. I am very pissed off with the fact the man doing my nails couldn’t pay more attention to everything going on around him rather than my nails. I am very upset and will not recommend anyone use this place.

You know you found the right place when they know you by name, know what colors you like, ask about your entire family, remember your birthday, and when you call in for an appt. you get worked in!! There is a reason they stay so busy and have so many repeat customers. I have known Lynn & James for over 30 yrs and I can only say I’ve had great experiences here. The service in the shop is so chill and like home. We talk, laugh, and play catch up every visit. Highly recommend!!!
