2nd time I used Kenmark Air. Did not know they were offering $59.99 special! Nice surprise. Jr arrived on time to perform annual a/c maintenance. Checked unit inside and out. Flushed drain line. Tested pressure. Nice man. Didnt waste any time. Techs dont work off commission. Asked if I wanted a service agreement, I said no. That was it. No pressure to purchase agreement or add on any equipment like surge protector or special filters as some companies do. Highly recommend.

My Ac went out on Easter Sunday, I did not want to call for service on a Sunday, and especially on Easter Sunday. I did call on Monday and they asked if it was an emergency. I said not really, it was good weather. So they set me up for TueKevin and Tyler showed up on time and actually scolded me for not calling on Sunday. He said 24/7 means 24/7. Both gentlemen were professional and graciousThank you Kevin & Tyler you were a blessing to me today.

Called at 10:00 Friday morning about problem with an air conditioner they installed three years ago, was told someone would get back to me today. Waited all afternoon for call, and when I called them back at 4:15, was told office was closed and no one there till Monday. Don’t think giving someone a call is asking too much for a business to do, will never use or recommend this business to anyone

They were to be here between 10 and 1. It is now 3:43 and still not here. Every year service get worst and worst. They blame on the guys that they have to let go or guys leave company. Have new help ever time. Will not use again. My advice would be dont use company. Unless you like being treated bad. Customers dont count to them. Then they get mad at me for telling them to send back what was paid for. And cancel today and we are done with there company. Been waiting all day and is 4:25. Shame on this company. We matter to.

Be very careful, buyer beware. I have been using Kenmark for years for all my needs with annual services for clean and check. This week they tried to sell me a new unit when called out for service. They installed this unit in the summer of 2014 with a 10 year warranty. They claimed it was fried due to a power surge and not covered under warranty. Long story, so to short... took another company all of 5 mins to get it running service cost $180 versus the $4900 Kenmark wanted for new unit! SCAMMERS

They quoted me $1200.00 to $1400.00 for a repair I got done to my A/C system for $169.00! They never seem to have heard the expression “ if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!” The technician called me an “A-hole” when I told him I was getting another quote!

Whatever you do DO NOT use this company. They have an office full of scam callers. They will sell you an a/c cleaning for 59.99, but in reality its just a way to get them in the door so they can try and sell you a bunch of unnecessary repairs that you dont need. What type of service a/c company has a staff of full time scame callers? This place is a joke. There are too many other reputable a/c companys in the SW area. Read all the reviews before calling this company.

Kenmark was recommended by a friend and installed a new unit after giving a fair assessment of what was there. Like their service agreement. Have been with them for 2 years and am satisfied with their service. Kudos to Keith who has been a repeated technician. Fast, efficient and friendly ! Have recommended them to others. Just completed the 6 month support visit with Jimmy (Junior), what a great experience. Didnt mind me looking over his shoulder so I could understand more about my system. Did the extras that make up a 5 star rating: check the batteries in my thermostat, tested both the heating and AC sides and flushed the coils. All the time the experience was friendly and professional. Hope he re-visits in 6 months. Thanks Junior.

After Irma we called Kenmark after the power returned and they came as quickly as possible and fixed the problem after parts were ordered. They were completely professional and always friendly. They even took the boards off my windows so the air could begin to circulate throughout the condo. My air conditioner was not toppled over like many others on the roof because of the way they had fastened it securely to the roof. Thank you so much for your kindness.

I bought my A/C from Kenmark over 10 years ago, and it has worked beautifully this entire time. The technicians have come twice per year to check it and clean it. They have always been on time, polite, efficient, and courteous. I have been informed that the unit is getting pretty old, and will eventually need to be replaced, but they have helped me keep it working and I am delighted with their service, as well as being delighted that the unit continues to work well! I highly recommend Kenmark Air, as the company has been very good to and for me!

I’ve been using Kenmark as my Air Conditioner company for the past 8 or 9 years. They installed a new system for during that time and I have had NO problems at all with the system. I entered into a service agreement Kenmark AC and the company has not performed to the terms of our agreement and misrepresented the need for replacement parts and claimed that the equipment was out of its warranty term when it was not. They then represented that the replacement parts and labor would be approximately $2,800 when they should have been covered by the manufactures warranty. I had the work performed by another more trustworthy and reliable firm who honored the manufactures warranty and only charged me $450 for the labor to install.

Weve used Kenmark to service our rental properties for over 14 years. As in any business, not all service people are equal, so when you find a tech you trust, request them! Annette in Customer Service is always courteous, helpful and diligent in reminding us of our scheduled maintenance. When weve had serious A/C issues, Ken (owner) has been available to take a look at the problem and help us resolve it. We appreciate a hands-on owner!

We contacted many air conditioning companies and decided to go with Kenmark Air. After we paid the deposit my wife was contacted by the owner to state that they had severely under quoted the job and that it would be an additional 1400 to install the system. The sales rep came out to our house twice and looked into our attic. I’m not sure how this could have been misquoted when the reason they dropped their price was to beat the competition. Honestly this sounds like bait and switch. Also, the owner gave my wife an attitude when he explained all this when she did nothing wrong but try to be his customer. I’m giving two stars because our sales rep was very nice and knowledgeable.

Many thanks to Angel at Kenmore Air for going beyond the call of duty to create a solution to provide my family with the best quality of air in my home. After numerous visits to my home to examine the existing equipment he then designed a system to ensure an efficient, cool and clean air purification system. There were many obstacles he had to overcome including the removal of old metal ducts replaced with flex tube ducts as well as removing existing insulation and seal up leaks in the attic before installing new insulation. This was a time consuming difficult project and I can’t begin to express my thanks for Angel’s patience and persistence not only with me but the many people (including Annette) he had to coordinate and work with along the way. So.... Kenmark serviced my condo for “maintenance” every 6 months as the previous owner prepaid for this prior to my purchase. AC stopped blowing cold air, called them to come out and the tech states he filled our unit with 8 pounds of Freon at 98 dollars a pound for total of 800 dollars. He then proceeds to bait and switch by stating our coil was leaking and needed replaced for 2300 dollars more or we could replace the whole system for 6000 dollars. Kindly told him where to go and to get out. Called a more reputable company we used previously and they arrived 2 hours after a Kenmark left and said no leeks, system is fine, was probably low on Freon and that’s it... beware of this company.

Stay far away from Kenmark air. They are scam artists. When our blower motor went on our 15 yr old unit, we decided to install a new one to be safe. Kenmarks incorrect unit choice for our square footage caused the A/C to break 4 times in 9 yrs with a total of $2500 in labor only! Parts under warranty. Charged us for 6 lbs of feon. How did we lose that much freon?? Three months air still cold. If we lost that much freon we would have a major leak and air is still cold after 3 months. They installed a 2.5 ton A/C with 3 ton air handling unit in our 950 sf condo! Unit has very short and frequent cycles and was very loud! Then tried to sell us a new unit for a good deal but only if done in next few days because they said unit may break again! Stay away! Would give zero stars if I could!

These guys are CROOKS! Do not use them. They told me I had to replace my entire a/c unit to the tune of $5,000. 3 years after having the new unit, they said that I had leaks in my duct work that would damage my system if I didnt spend $2,300 to get it repaired.I called another company who looked and said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my ducts.The Kenmark tech also claimed that a valve had blown off my unit. He only showed me the damaged valve from his pocket after he had already replaced it for me, he did not show me while it was with my system. Because of this supposed valve problem, he said I needed 7 lbs of refrigerant added (very doubtful).I caught him later pressing down hard on the PVC piping leading to my air handler (appeared to be trying to cause damage). When I questioned him about it, he at first denied that he had touched them, then he tried to say it was part of his service checks.Least of all my worries, they never show up on time

I didn’t think anybody could be worse than Sandusky Services but I have been proven wrong. I’m going on a week and a half without air. I had Sandusky Services install a new AC that took over 3 weeks to work right. Still have the hole in my garage ceiling from the installer falling through. My unit is 3 years old and quit working. Found out Sandusky sold to Kenmark Air. Also found out Sandusky was the Mark of Kenmark Air. Called them up on a Monday morning and was told they would have someone out between 10-11. I had someone to meet them and when they hadn’t showed by 1:00, I called back and was told they were running behind and would be there within the hour. At 4:15 I called back and the person I talked to after being bounced around said they didn’t even have me on the schedule. After pitching a fit they said someone would come out. At 5:30 the tech shows up and just as we started talking he gets a phone call and stands in my drive for 20 minutes on the phone. He then goes up in the attic for 10 minutes only to go back out in the drive and talk another 20 minutes on his phone. He then tells me I need a TXV valve that’s under warranty but it’ll cost $850 for labor. After he left another Kenmark tech showed up to look at my AC and also told me I needed a TXV valve. I called the office the next morning upset about the price and was told that it would be much cheaper but that I needed to talk to one of the owner’s sons. But they wouldn’t be back for two days. I finally got ahold of Bradley and was told he knew nothing about it but apologized and said he would take care of it personally and the cost to change out a TXV valve was $300 (not$850). When I got in from work they had told my son that it wasn’t the valve but a leak in my condenser and that would cost $700 for labor with the part being under warranty. I agreed to go ahead with it and they were supposed to install it on Friday. Here it is 10:00 Tuesday night and still have no air. Just another promise for tomorrow. When they canceled today they reminded me again about how my part was setting right there in front of them in the office. I asked about me getting someone else to install it and was told I couldn’t because they have to do the warranty work. I read a lot of 5 star reviews but they all seemed to be at least a year old. Most of what I seen in the last year have been 1 star. The only reason I’m giving them one star is because there wasn’t anything less.

Would not recommend them to anyone and should have realized when the techs asked for a tip that this was not a company I could trust. Should have listened to the reviews. We were sold a certain brand and size and when installers arrived was nothing as ordered and could not be installed. Cancelled immediately. Better Business Reviews had a complaint against them for the exact same incident.

Had my six month chechup scheduled for between 11 am and 1 pm no call and no body showed up. Called kenmark they told me tech was 2 hrs. behind would be over around 3 pm still no show its 4:30 pm havent seen anyone and no call. Had other issues with kenmark wouldnt ever recommend or use them again. If you need someone to do A. C. work get anyone else.

Have a quote. Of $ 600 to replace duct work 2 pieces of 6 ft and 12 ft and to fabracte a cover for my ac the tech cam out and said you dont need a cover that will save you a couple hundred dollars replace the 2 pieces of duct and still charge me $498 I called them they said we had to go buy the duct work your an ac company and you dont have duct on your truck really you serviced my ac 6 months ago with the bad duct on my ac never said a word and charged me for that if is was bad why did you not tell that 6 months ago plain and simple rip off never using them again

Highly unreliable company our most recent experience involved them replacing a blower motor on a less than year old unit that they managed to not only install the wrong motor replacing the original 1/2hp motor with a 1/4 hp one that wasnt up to the task but then tried to claim the problem was our duct work which they would repair for $$ as well as trying to charge us for the motor they wrongly installed in place of the 1/2 hp one it originally came with per the warranty coverage and since being confronted about this we have been unable to get an answer from them we just keep getting the same we will have to get the manager to get back to you line and getting hung up on dont waist your time with them they will scam you out of every penny they think they can get from you

THEY CHARGED AN ELDERLY WIDOW $1000.00 IN BOGUS FINANCE CHARGES when they do not do in house financing. The manager and salesman involved told the customer she would be credited when the balance was paid off. When the balance was paid off she was not given her money back. They even got in trouble with the company that does their financing but the owner just lied. The salesman involved has disclosed that he gets paid more the more charges. Also he is a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER GOING INTO PEOPLES HOUSES. It is encouraged to sell annual maintenance to customers who are owed free cleanings, if they can do it with out the customer noticing. Also, they more often then not will reschedule or delay appointments often keeping people with out air, if there is a sale to be made. And if you were to pull over all of their company vehicles, 75% of the employees driving them would have drugs on them This company rewards bad behavior.

They initially wanted over $6800 for a brand new 16.6 unit but we decided on $5700 because we asked for a certain installation but it was not done. They also offered only $465 FPL discount when other companies were giving $685 FPL discount. They tell you one thing to get the sell then do what they want afterwards. BUYERS BEWARE. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND GET AT LEAST 3 QUOTES. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE.Update 10/31/16: They have made efforts to improve their customer service. The maintenance is done to our satisfaction and the new unit works great. As with anything, ensure promises/declarations are written on paper and keep a copy as reference.
