What a truly wonderful experience dealing with J&D. First they came highly recommended but still managed to exceed my expectations.In short, dealing with Shannon in the office was not the norm in todays world. She was friendly, upbeat and strove to meet my needs. And then there was Mario the super technician. I hope J&D has a way to clone Mario, it is just so nice to have a skilled, competent AND nice service person show up at your door.

We had a new AC installed 2 years ago by J & D, very happy with it and have used J and D for routine maintenance 2 x per year. The service is always good. Edisson has done our maintenance the last couple of times and he has been great. Very knowledgeable and polite. He does the job correctly and is very helpful in answering and explaining any questions we have. I highly recommend Edisson and J and D.

Great experience with Wayne of J & D Heating. Last year, my old HVAC company told me I needed a new A/C but the serviceman spent only 10 minutes checking my unit. Then he tried to sell me a new unit, telling me to buy one before this one died on me. I had Wayne with J&D come out for a 2nd opinion (yes, and another inspection charge), because I didn’t trust what the original service man said. Wayne gave my A/C a clean bill of health and it’s been working perfectly for the past year past year. I just had Wayne come out to do a yearly inspection and he said my A/C is still working fine, just a line rust on the top grill of the outside unit. I definitely recommend this company!

Mario our service technician is amazing! Super friendly, always on time, and even calls when he is on his way. Let’s us know when he will be arriving. So respectful and courteous. Takes his time going over everything with us. Always a pleasure to have him service our ac. Great employee who is very knowledgeable in his field. True asset to his company.

Relatively new to the Naples area, we were in serch for a n honest, reliable, and affordable air conditioning company, and J&D appears to check all these prerequisite boxes.My wife and I are particularly impressed with David Clark, Service Manager, who seems to possess an abundance of knowledge in the field. He repaired a long-standing problem with our upstairs air conditioning unit in a timely manner. He explained the source of the problem in a clear, patient manner,, and ensured that the issue would not happen in the future. J&D installed a new Lennox AC system 4 years ago in our Naples Hi-Rise condo and we felt that was very professionally managed and installed. We are on the semi-annual maintenance program for cleaning and today Edison and Jose were here cleaning the system- I appreciated how timely, friendly and professional they both were and thankful for the PPE they wore in my unit. Wayne was very professional, prompt, and courteous. My appointment was set between 12-2. At 11:30 he called me and told me he was on his way. He was here at 12 on the dot. He took the time to explain a few things about the system and I feel I received a good value from the company.

I was experiencing a “gremlin” in my A/C & heating system. The technician, Wayne, stuck with the diagnostic until he was able to locate the problem (a short in the wiring between the air handler & the thermostat...an issue I inadvertently caused by installing floor boards too close to the wire in the attic). He was able to fix the problem and the system is working perfectly. I highly recommend J & D to anyone looking for unit replacement or service. They installed this unit 5 years ago. And I have it tuned up by their technicians twice a year.

The A/C stopped working and we called our building manager who called J & D to come out ASAP. The tech -Mario Diaz- arrived just before 5pm. He knew what caused the problem within1 minute! Had a great first experience with J&D. After a negative experience with another company we decided to give J&D a try for our routine maintenance. The office staff was friendly and helpful when I called to inquire about service. The technician who came to my home was exceptional! To start, the tech called ahead to let us know he was on his way then showed up showed up on time (per our original schedule). Upon arrival he rang the bell at the front door and immediately offered to enter through the garage if that was closer to the AC unit. This showed me he is thoughtful and considerate. He took time to talk to me about how the system has been running, performed the service as expected and made some suggestions to help me avoid future service disruptions.Another demonstration of the difference between J&D and others was that the tech left a new filter for my use when my current filter needs to be changed. Replacing the filter is part of the service but rather than just swapping it out the tech asked how long since I changed it and said the one installed because it was very clean so no point in throwing out a barely used filter just because he was there.Thank you J&D!

&D Heating and Air charge both a diagnostic and a repair charge. The Diagnostic charge was $90 for a 2 minute diagnostic process. The repair was then $100. I find this to be outrageous. I do not recommend you use this service.

We recently purchased a house and wanted the twelve year old A/C unit be serviced. J&D Heating and Air Conditioning was recommended to us by our realtor. They sent a technician within a day of our calling. Wayne was very knowledgeable and provided an excellent service. He also warned us that the unit was not taken care of regularly and it would be wise to eventually replace it with a newer and more efficient unit. We decided to get a quote on a new unit. Kevin arrived the same afternoon and gave us his recommendation and a quote, He was very articulate on how he arrived at the quote and his suggested brand. We agreed and asked for an immediate installation due to our travel plans. Since we had already paid for the service call, Kevin cancelled the payment since we were replacing the old unit with a new one. The new unit was installed on the day promised by two very talented technicians. Kevin showed up when the installation was completed to review the work and and help with setting up the wireless thermostat for remote monitoring. We received excellent service from J&D Heating and Air Conditioning from beginning to end and we plan to have a maintenance contract with them in the future. Thank you guys!

The technicians are completely incompetent and look for ways to price gauge you. One tech came to the house and wanted to jury rig the system vs. conduct an appropriate diagnosis and repair it which subsequently, would have make our system work extra hard, reducing efficiency and still not correct the issue. In addition this tech was completely rude and unprofessional to my wife when questioned about his logic to such an extent she kicked him out of our home. The next technician came and provided a completely different story about our system which resulted in a $800 quote to replace a pump that was under warranty. Needless to say we wanted a second opinion in which another organization came in and diagnosed the problem, resolved the issue, and corrected previous J & D repairs which exacerbated the original problem for which we were calling for at a third of the price. Ultimately we were still charged a service fee despite J & Ds inability and unprofessional-ism.

What a pleasure to finally find a reputable and competent company to deal with my air conditioning needs. Manuel was professional and more than happy to explain each procedure as he went along. Problem was solved. I would definitely recommend this company to any and all in need of this kind of service.

Nicolas was very professional and personable. He took the time to explain step by step everything he did. We just purchased our home last year so we appreciated the time he took to answer our questions about our heating and cooling system. We hope to see Nicolas back here in the spring.

Wayne is wonderful

The technical team is good and has done a thorough job each time they visited. But whomever they have answering incoming calls and scheduling is argumentative and rude. Every time we call in to renew our contract or schedule a visit or repair its like picking a fight. We like the technical competence of the company but at some point we will switch as its just not worth the painful interaction each time. What ever happened to customer service???

The technician told me that there was a blown Transformer that would cost $250 to replace plus whatever problem caused the Transformer to blow. I then was referred to Kevin in sales who recommended I spend $5,200 to replace my system . Upon investigation, I learned it is a 2012 unit. I called another service man who indicated that the Transformer was just for some UV lights that have been added to the system and was not necessary. He disconnected the Transformer and restarted my system which is working fine. I plan to cancel my contract with J & d.

Preventative maintenance

Our sales experience with Kevin was great! We spent over $9,000.00 Dec 2017 only to have them here more than a dozen times since for a clogged drain…mind you we shop vac the line monthly, have a svc contract for them to come twice a year for a clean and check and change our filters regularly! Wayne has been amazing each time he comes and we even had Aaron here a week ago, but I think there is an issue they are missing and Im tired of calling and having to have them come for the SAME issue! They add a pea trap, remove it, say the lines aren’t laying right, even told me it’s because we have a cat and the litter box is to close to the A/C return! I feel that something wasnt done properly or they didnt replace something they should have when the A/C was done in December 2017 .

Not sure why we have a contract for a year, when we have a constant problem with clearing out the lines from algae and goop. One thing I have found out is that no one knows how to remedy this ongoing problem.

I called J & D out for what I thought was some warranty work. I didnt realize that I was out of warranty by 8 days. Initially, I was looking at $300 for the service call. They worked with me on the bill to more fit the time that the technician was at my house. I really appreciated that.

This place is horrible horrible customer service they never called back do not use them they ripped me off can’t even get them to call me back it’s been weeks and they left us with a broken air conditioner I had to call another company if you value your hard-earned money call someone else

Josh was extremely rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend to anyone because of his poor attitude. He should be fired.

Personally saw one of their drivers driving erratic, swerving and giving the finger to other drivers in Cape Coral. Nice way to present your self to potential customers. Looked like a blond haired white trash dude. Sorry, Id never choose this company based on that presentation alone.

Office staff great, technicians are hit or miss, mostly miss. One tells you one thing another tells you another. We had service agreement with them for 5 years. Had trouble day one when we moved in our new house. 5 years and we have to replace our Trane. Going with a different company this time.

Tech gave us time frame of 2 hours, never called or followed up had to call them to find out they would be there late. They showed up over 5 hours late, performed a minor clean out with shop vac. The unit continued to leak for 4 days when we called another company who came in and fixed the problem. They did nothing and charged more than double their estimate. Avoid this company or pin them down to the service and the fee upfront!
