I’ve been going to this salon since I moved here in 2015. The staff has changed slightly over time but for the past 4 years I’ve been getting my nails done by David. He always does a wonderful job and we’ve done a lot of creative things over the years. The staff is very friendly and they always go above and beyond for their clients. If you are looking for detailed designs and different arty types of nails I highly recommend David. They also offer different types of pedicures, go for the deluxe it’s the same price as other salons regular pedi and you get little extras with the deluxe. Ok see you guys Friday!

I absolutely adore Cindy, she is the only person I will go to now in the Fort Lauderdale area. Prices are amazing, she always does an incredible job, show her any picture and she immediately knows what to do. Pedicures are the best I have ever had as well. Everyone is kind and professional. I honestly couldn’t recommend it more!

I came here after seeing a ton of great reviews on here and Yelp. I’m new to the area and have been searching for a spot to get my dip powder done. My nails came out okay, but the nail tech didn’t ask me the length I wanted or if I wanted my nails reshaped. I came in with dip powder from another place, she removed the powder and proceeded to take off significant length from my natural nails. My natural nails were quite long, and she didn’t ask me how short I wanted them or even if I wanted them to be shorter. She didn’t ask if I wanted the shape changed. I’m used to my nail techs asking me these questions, rather than deciding on their own without asking and just “doing.” She was careful and I think my nails ended up looking fine, but I realized once I got home (after thoroughly washing my hands, etc.) that my cuticles weren’t properly cleaned up. She did clip them a bit, but obviously from the photos you can see it wasn’t done thoroughly. I also see that there is a little chip of the gel top coat at the end of my thumb nail. I got my nails done yesterday afternoon, so it’s literally been less than 24 hours. Another thing I thought was strange is that there was no hand lotion massage type of thing at the end of the service. I’ve never NOT had that when getting my nails done. I recently moved from NY, so maybe it’s just a “thing” down here that they don’t do a little hand massage during manicures? Overall, I think my nails look fine, but not great. I’m disappointed that there wasn’t any communication from my nail tech regarding nail length and shape, and my cuticles should have been done better. Obviously there shouldn’t be a chip in the top coat so quickly either. My dip powder usually lasts weeks. We’ll see how long this lasts, as I just had them done. FYI, the dip powder is $37, which seems average for the area.

I love this place! They were professional, clean, and efficient. Vincent did an AMAZING job on my nails!!! He removed my previous damaged powder manicure, installed a new set, and customized them beautifully and tastefullyb in only an hour!! I love my nail design and diamond adornments. Today was my first visit, but I will surely return! Thank you for a great experience!!!

Do NOT recommend. Gentleman who did my pedicure was careless and left nail polish on the skin surrounding my nails after I told him to fix it. He also stabbed me with the cuticle pusher and I told him to please be more gentle. So what did he do? Stopped trimming my cuticles altogether. I also tried to use a gift certificate and they wouldnt honor it. Really terrible service and horrible experience. Will not be returning.

I have been going to Mod Nail Spa for years now, and weekly at that. I absolutely love everyone who works in there. I feel at home every time I walk in. And that’s the best feeling in a nail salon, if you know what I mean ladies. ;). Not only is the work done perfectly, the workers tend to your every need. I’ll forever recommend Mod Nail Spa! I have 2 years with them and Today they canceled my appointment because I was delayed 15 minutes and at other times I always arrive early and I have to wait 15 or 20 minutes to be attended. I feel that they do not value the continuous customer.

I have gotten my nails done with dip for the last 2 years and have never had such terrible service. My technician rolled her eyes when I asked for shorter nails and I have gotten much better service and quality for less. For the price you’re paying, I would’ve expected more and better quality job. This is my first ever review, but left the salon disappointed and felt the need to share my experience.

I like when you actually have a nail salon wanting to get money from you and it doesn’t matter what time is or how many people they are willing to help . Unlike, this nail salon that’s a simple “no come back another time . We’re busy. Make an appointment.” LOL

Very impressed by how sanitary this nail salon is. They use a new peel pack of instruments and disposable sponges for each client which is a huge positive. It takes a lot of time and to sterilize like that. They also value appointments to spread their clients out as to not overcrowd. I would absolutely recommend the jelly pedi to anyone. David did a wonderful job and it was a great experience! My only critique would be the wall of nail polish- wish it was a bit organized but that’s just me being particular. 😅

Waited 30 mins even tho I a had an appointment. Pedicure was great and the lady was really sweet. The guy who did my nails tho was so rude. The whole manicure including shellac took less than 20 mins so obviously he was rushing. The shellac looks awful. When I pointed this out and showed him how badly he painted my nails, he started cutting my cuticles even tho I asked him five times to stop cutting them he literally cut so much that my nails were all bleeding. Stay away unless you’re after some ruined nails!

My husband and i setup an appointment and it was nice they were able to take us in the same day. We spend about 180 for both manicure and pedicure, our ladies seemed good at their job, but Im very observant, they seemed rushed by the owner or manager on site they little seemed they were trying to stuck appointments on top of each other and with only two ladies working,i almost felt bad for them. Not only everything was rushed by this owner/manager but before they were done with us, they jumped into other clients and this other guy just came and finished the work for them. First i didnt spend that kinda money to be rushed, second with the pandemic going i dont need everyone that works in that place touching my hands and feet, one person should of been sufficient, and third if you are busy, stop being stingy and hire more people which you can afford with those prices. I gave 3 stars as courtesy to the ladies, but i will never go back since i didnt enjoy the experience.

The owner is very personable. As I walk in the door he greets me by name. Him and his wife have made wonderful environment for clients. The location is convenient and easy to find. If you want to get a nail tech that is super attentive to detail ask for David. He took his time and paid attention to me fussing with my nails in between filing. My nails are literally perfect. Just so the owner and staff know they have a very satisfied customer!!! I feel fresh and well manicured with my clear natural overlay with clear gel polish. I am going to feel like a million dollars for the holiday. 5 different people have noticed my flawless nails and asked where I get them done today. MOD NAIL SPA!!💕😍🥰I will definitely be back and I highly recommend!

Worst nail salon in all of south Florida. Such a sloppy job, I could have done my own gel manicure one million times better. Not to mention the prices are extremely high for the poor quality service. Save yourself and go elsewhere.

DO NOT GO HERE .... first off i came here on time and they took me like 20 minutes after, then when i was getting them done the man didn’t even know english i could not understand him and he couldn’t understand me. when he was filing my nails he kept hitting my skin which hurt really bad. then i showed him what i wanted and he was so confident about it. then when he was doing it he refused to do all of the designs that i asked for and started doing random designs that weren’t even in the picture. he put absolutely no effort into my nails and started putting stickers on 4 of my nails cause he didn’t feel like doing the designs oh and he charged me 100 dollars for these horrible nails . he kept insisting on me getting long nails so i would have to pay more on the end. just please don’t go here .

DO NOT GO HERE I REPEAT DONT GO. this place is so bad and horrible. i went in today with my friend so she could get her nails done and the man who did them was horrible. When being asked how long my friend wanted them, she answers saying long but not to long. He makes them way to long and keep saying “better like this”. When showing him the design she wanted he was overly confident that he could do this design. As he is painting the nails, he keeps telling us that he can’t do that nail or this nail. He should have said he could do it because obviously he can’t. Another thing was he couldn’t understand anything we were telling him. We told him to do a smile face on one of the nails and then starts to do poke a dots. Lastly he became impatient and started to just throw the stickers on the nails. DONT GO HERE!!! DONT GO HERE!!!another thing it was 100$!!!!! an absolute rip off

I believe my technician is named David, I’ve been to this salon at least for 5-6 months due to the pandemic. The two technicians I used to go to no longer work there so I was a bit hesitant to try someone new. I’m so happy with my service and David was professional, patient and kind. I went for a dip manicure and the guy cut my fingers in multiple places with the sanding tool. Also I kept asking him to make them round but he left them square :( Then when I went to pay, he clicked a $15 tip without asking so I had to ask him to void the transaction to put my in my own tip amount. I don’t know why it has such good reviews, it was poor quality/ painful/ bad customer service.

The pedicure and the foot massage was great but manicure was disappointing.I asked marble design nails and the lady said she can do that, but it wasn’t marble at all. She should’ve just told me that she doesn’t have a skill to do marble design so I could order different design and didn’t have to waste money.

Very good techs. I had Tim who was really really good. Clean and kind, and they take pride in their work, but their prices are more expensive than most. 35 bucks for a gel manicure is more than average. Thats the only reason I give it 4/5...if the prices were competitive it would be 5 stars all the way.

My receipt says Bie (Lanna) did my fill and Tim did my french gel pedi. Both were great! I am very picky and they did not disappoint. Bie shaped my nails perfect . My toes are loaded with cuticles and Tim took care of them no problem. I am a nail tech of 6 years myself and i love to find other nail techs that satisfy.

Giving this place 5 stars because of Jessy, she is so detail oriented, makes sure to get the sides of your nails and she cleans them up after, very gentle and very thorough, the place is clean and staff is nice.

Was the worst nail experience & I would not recommend. I have uneven nails, bloody cuticles, the French manicure is a faded white and my French pedicure turned into a solid bright pink because the nail tech wouldn’t let me have a lighter pink. I was charged $95 and the mani/pedi took 2.5 hours. Disappointed 😞

Great service but sadly the work on my nails has been some of the worse work I have ever had done. I had a gel overlay fill on my nails. The overlay cracked clear across while I was traveling. This happened to TWO NAILS. I am not hard on my nails. I had to go to ANOTHER salon to get them repaired. Of course, I had to wear band aids on my fingers for 3 days until I could get back to the states and get them fixed. I am highly disappointed. People were kind but skill was sorely lacking.

Well, my wife said she liked them alot... and her nails did look very nice. She says the girl who took care of her was great!

Never going back here again even if Im desperate! Had a gel French manicure that barely lasted a week that I had to force the tech to get right. The owner talks way too much and makes me feel uncomfortable and tries to push me to talk when I clearly tell him Im not a talker. Leave a customer in peace! Expensive and quality not worth it unless you get service from the owner otherwise stay away. My friend went with me too and claims her tech did a choppy job and was way too rough. Over this place!
