New to the area and need a hairdresser. Their stylist were very personable and I enjoyed talking to them. I really wanted to like them. But I wasn’t real impressed with my highlights, at all. For what I paid I expect my hair to look amazing. Won’t be going back.

2 stars for the actual staff attitude. Everyone I encountered was very pleasant. Came in for a no-chip mani. This is what I received for 35$. The cuticles just needed to be cleaned a little before curing. Also, I know that you are not suppose to be using the same disposable nail files or buffers on different clients but it was being done anyways. As a licensed nail tech for 7yrs I was a bit disappointed in sanitation. This place isnt horrible by any means. Im just not sure if I would recommend.

The worst place ever. My hair was left orange.I literally left stunned and in tears. Quick half-fast job. They do not care about their clientele and are completely unprofessional.I had to go to a four-hour color correction to fix my orange hair. Called for a refund and would not give me my money back, per Luanne. And verbally assaulted me by saying “I was out of my mind,” for being pretty upset about what happened to my hair.I will be posting pictures about this which color correction stylist said was “disturbing.”NEVER go to this place.

Wasted $580 and nearly nine hours on horrible color. I’m just purchasing box dye from CVS to fix it. I had originally came in to re-dye the bottom half of my previously bleached hair to match the top half of virgin brown hair (it had faded into a too-obvious ombré). She convinced me to blend the lighter color higher up instead of pulling the brown down. It came out looking like neon yellow and black stripes! She said she had planned to put in a second toner two shades down to blend it more naturally. MY HAIR IS NOW BLOTCHY DARK ORANGE ON TOP AND DARKER ON THE BOTTOM. There was no red or orange in the hair sample we agreed on. It was supposed to be honey light brown. It’s permanent color. This is a nightmare.

I travel a lot and this is my favorite salon in the country. I’ve been going there since they opened. Great location right on Las Olas (actually on the west side of the Las-Olas-fronting Bank of America building.) Everyone there remembers your name and greets you like a good friend. From the owners Andrew and Luann to the hair magicians Danielle and Rodrigo (and really, all of the stylists) to the front desk reception Drea and her team, spending time there is a great respite and you come out like a new person.Tip: There is validated free parking in the Bank of America garage, or you can park across the street in the garage and pay $9 to $12.

Found this salon on Las Olas and was super interested. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and introduced to my master stylist, Adrianna. She asked what I was looking for and within a matter of minutes of showing/describing what I was looking for she knew what I wanted. Between her and the awesome staff I was well cared for. I was offered a beverage and a relaxing chair. Long story short, I walked out with a bomb ass hairstyle for the holidays. I would recommend their salon in a heartbeat!! The atmosphere is hip and cool, and they make you feel so pampered. Needless to say I will be returning for more!!

The worst hairdresser in the world, I went to have a balayage done and I ended up with my hair completely destroyed, I had my hair up to my waist and to try to minimize the damage I had to cut my hair up to my shoulders, my hair was like 5 colors all terrible that nothing looked like a balayage and on top I paid $ 350 to cause this damage ... I had to pay a lot of money elsewhere to repair these damages and my self-esteem, my hair and my pocket were very bad .. .I would never recommend them....el peor lugar de el mundo

My family and I have been coming to Tease Salon for the past year. Eda takes her time to make sure everything is just as we want. My mom had tried many salons in the area and they would never achieve the right hair color she wanted. Eda gets it right every time which is not easy to do. Everyone in the salon is very friendly and makes it a nice experience. We will continue to come back to tease salon and we highly recommend Eda!

I have been visiting the place for the last 3 years, every time when Im in Ft Lauderdale. From the first visit I loved it. Josie been doing my hair every time Im there and she is a magician! Whether is color or cut, thee finish is always fantastic. I love the vibe of the place and the fact that they also have beauty salon where you can do your mani or pedi.

I went in for a blowout and I could not escape the creepy manager following me around asking me to review and rate the salon as best of Fort Lauderdale on my phone while she watched. Very bizarre behavior as it was my first (and last) time there. This place seems very desperate.

Got a good haircut the first time, the stylist left, so I was paired with someone else. Paid $120 for a Bob that is so incredibly uneven and WAY TOO SHORT. totally scissor happy and made me look like a 59 year old. Im 32. Nothing against 59, its just not the cut I asked for. The owner is kinda a jerk. I stood at the counter waiting to pay for 17 min. He just watched me, sitting there playing with scissors until I asked if I could pay because I was in a rush and he made it out to be this big deal.... I wouldnt recommend.

I was looking for a salon who does Deva Cuts or close to it and found Jeffrey Laurence. He did a fabulous job at cutting my thick curly 3c/4a hair. He is pretty fly for a white guy I mean he is great with the scissors. Took his time, very friendly and courteous. Will definitely go again to see my guy.

I come here about 6 weeks for color and sometimes a cut. I always see Eda and she does a wonderful job. She listens to my feedback and always makes sure that Im happy with the finished product before I leave.

Usually going to have my hair done is somewhat of an ordeal. But not this place it has a very nice setting they offer wine and cheese theyre very friendly and most of all they cut hair grade that color hair great everybody does a great job sometimes when I can get Chris I get this other lady and shes just as good I would highly recommend this place.!

Just went to Tease Salon and had a manicure and pedicure. I had such a wonderful experience. Both ladies that worked on me were named Nancy. Such great ladies with great personalities. We had lots of great conversation and laughter. I will definitely be going back when I am in Fort Lauderdale again! THANK YOU LADIES!

Candice is the most amazing stylist. She is very creative, and can take your ideas and turn them into something you are sure to love. She is also very patient with children and can turn an unruly mess of curly hair into a beautiful sleek style. i would recommend this salon to everyone!!!

This salon cares more about their stylist’s time than yours. I waited 20 mins for my appointment, only to my stylish walk right past me and leave. I was given another stylist with no explanation nor apology. I’ve been there before 3 times and you won’t spend less than $75. I’ve been charged $85 and randomly $120. I only get a cut, wash, and blow out. Terrible service.

I went to this place after seeing how high they are rated but I was disappointed with the service. My hair was fried and frizzy after leaving with a blow out. It was supposed to be smooth and I was too upset to get the managers attention before I left. I felt like the stylist was really incompetent. I give it a 2 instead of a 1 because I did find it to be a good price. So many Las Olas spots are overpriced but this was actually a good value. I saw so many other people leaving with beautiful hair that I bet I just got screwed because of the stylist that day. Im willing to try it one more time and then maybe change my review after assessing it.

Very nice staff. Great atmosphere. Came a few days ago on vacation & asked for a cut & two French braids after so I wouldn’t have to do my hair that night to go out.. plus it was so humid out that my hair would friz. Wish they got someone who knew how to braid. After he braided & started over multiple times..the final result looked as if someone learned to braid for their first time. Plus it was $100. My friend came with me..she paid $65 for cut, blowout & curl. I know my hair is longer, but I feel as if they charged me for his frustration braiding my hair. I’m not going to complain after seeing how frustrated he was getting the braids done just for him to be more frustrated doing it again. I wish they got someone to do the braids that was more capable to do so.

I am a cosmetologist and I needed to get my hair done for a last minute event I had to fly to. I explained in detail what I needed done thinking this was a foolproof service, a FULL highlight. First of all, my service took HOURS...6 I believe. From my photos you can tell clearly that she barely did a partial highlight in my opinion it looks like she hardly did a partial, it seems she only did the top and crown, as the regrowth is VERY noticeable-I still had to pay for a full highlight. She ended up having to juggle her next appointment which was her relative WHILE doing my hair as well. This is literally the worst place I have ever been to. The photos of my hair are so embarrassing I cant believe I am even uploading them. After crying as I left, I calmed down and came back in to ask the manager why it was messed up and not fixed after I was assured that my stylist was good at doing blonde hair. I was given no answer. I asked if they could fix it to which they replied telling me that I would have to pay again for them to fix their mess up. Almost called the better business bureau on this one as I paid for this service and wasnt given what I was promised. Do NOT come here unless you want your hair RUINED. I had to go to someone else to get lowlights to attempt to cover up the blotches of blonde hair at my roots. This place is a mess.

Was searching for a place to recolor and treat my wife’s hair right after our flight from California to Fort Lauderdale. Called while at Airport and the fabulous owner Luann answered, I explained the situation and she gave us an appointment the same day! We arrived for my wife’s appointment and two amazing Hairstylists Adrianna & Irina got to work. They recolored and treated my wife’s hair from jet black to blonde in no time at all and the results are outstanding! I highly recommend TEASE and wished we had one near my Military Base in California! Superior professional service with an relaxing atmosphere making you feel at home! No BS.Full Review: I very rarely write reviews and only do so if I had an absolutely amazing experience or an experience so bad that I feel others should know. I’m a tough critic and honestly if I could give my stylist, Nick, above 5 stars, I would. I have tried so many high end salons in SoFla, NJ & NY, with some charging $100+ for a Men’s cut and my experience today with Nick has been the best hands down. I have a lot of very thin hair that also curls once it gets to a certain length. This means when my hair is short it looks like it’s thinning and when it’s long it looks very off. Very frustrating to say the least. Nick managed to fix my hair with cut and styling techniques that makes my hair look 10x fuller! He is so passionate and dedicated to his craft, and still takes the time to explain exactly what he is doing to your hair, what is going on with the hair and how to maintain the look. He is honestly a magician and I was shocked that no other stylist I have ever seen has been able to solve my problem! I travel between NJ and FL often, and will always plan my trips accordingly as I cannot get my hair cut anywhere else now. He is also very generous and more concerned about the client being happy instead of seeing how fast he can get someone in and out. He went above and beyond in all aspects.I know this is a long review but Nick really deserves the praise. I saw a close friend afterward that immediately said he didn’t recognize me initially. Truly amazing. The salon is nice too, great location and no complaints about anything. Service was on point. Price wise everything is very fair for a nice salon and I would pay way more than $35 for the work Nick did.Thank you Nick!

Very bad time management. Prepare to wait for your appointment for at least 30 mins. Happened first time. Came in again to re-do highlights and to do nails. Had my Saturday all planned. Waited 30 mins again, had to leave as the mani lady was running too much behind (late previous customer), hair re-do appointment was cancelled by the stylist. Even though the stylist is professional, i left with dark roots after doing full head highlights few days ago. Cannot re-do as leaving Florida in 1 day. Very disappointed.
