From the moment I walked in it felt very unprofessional. Most of the staff was on their phone’s the whole time. It didn’t feel personable or welcoming. They wore masks but the masks didn’t cover their noses so I don’t understand the point. I wanted a simple manicure, but looking at how they came out, I could of done the same thing at home. When I first initially left my nails weren’t dry and they all quickly got messed up. I went back in right away to get them fixed, but after leaving the second time they still weren’t dry and some are still jacked up. Waste of time and money
So I want to start off by saying this review isn’t to bash the establishment at all, but I debated leaving this review. I got my nails done by Nhi, she did a great job on my hands. But my appointment was for 11:00 am and she literally had me waiting for an hour and 30 minutes before she got to me? Which like I get people get busy but that was extremely long, I had to cancel plans I had that day because I was waiting on her. During my app she ended up making me wait AGAIN while she fixed another clients nails (who just walked in).. I was like um ok? So I was pretty irritated the whole time. Another older woman did my toes, she was also very nice but didn’t do my toes very well and it hurt so bad and then it didn’t even dry nicely so I just didn’t want to complain tbh. I get you can be a very nice person but the entire experience was so unprofessional I’ll never go here again.
I absolutely love L.A. nails. I have been to almost every nail salon in Fort collins and always end up returning to L.A. nails. Everyone has great energy and passion for nails!! I can truly tell that these ladies enjoy what they do!!! Maria fixed my nails today for a decent price after I had a really bad experience with another salon!! Fantastic job.
They are nice here but for what I ended up paying I could have gotten way better and what I actually wanted. They dont stop to let u actually think and tell them what u want. Super busy so its just in and out for them. I ended up with the most basic short nails and paid $60 in the end 🤦Also to add I made an appt. And still waited 45 minutes until we were up. Whats the point of an appt then? 3 hours later.....
My nail stylist was super nice and always asked my opinion on what she did to my nails before she moved on. I also thought it was great priced. I will def be back here again.
Tried to go here 4 times 15 min after opening time and theyre never open. Unfortunate because the owner is wonderful. Would like them to be open
Marina was amazing and did wonderful. She made sure to have me feel relaxed and paid a lot of attention to detail in my nails. I cant wait to go back!!
Best place to get your nails done. The ladies here are amazing
Staff was friendly but my experience wasnt the best. Came in for a regular manicure and the nail tech tried to upsell me no less than three times despite repeatedly declining. My nails are quite a bit shorter than I asked them to be cut and theyre also a teeny bit crooked. They dont look bad but I will be continuing to do my own nails at home instead of getting them done at a salon. Just not worth the money.
My daughter needed to get 2 of her nails fixed and they got up taken care of. They did a great job.
I had an appointment for 3:30 and sat and waited for an hour and a half before I was even seated. The woman who did my nails cut my cuticles and sides of my fingers many times, they were still bleeding when I left. She told me it was going to be $45 for my set then pressured me into gel which I said I didn’t want. My total ended up being $70 which was too much for what I got. The nails did turn out beautiful but I would say it wasn’t worth the trouble and the experience was bad.
Best nail salon in Fort Collins! Will literally never go anywhere else again.
Was quick nice prices
Nhi is the best nail tech in town!
I get my nails done and they are always beautiful. Erica is really good at what she does and always makes sure you are happy before you leave.
Got my acrylics done by Ericka today! She was amazing. Super friendly and took her time to get everything just right. I will definitely be back.
Will not be going back here. Had the most horrible experience and Ive been there a few times and kept giving it a chance. The owner is super bossy and gave my daughter an anxiety attack and then charged her $65 for a rebase. Three of us went in for re bases and pedicures and we all got charged different prices. We all left very unhappy. Be prepared to have an extra 5 or 7 or $10 added on without them telling you. Also some of the staff are very good at nail art and others are not beware.
First and last time I visit this place, they rushed the pedicure & she was rough the way she cut my nails. The price is cheap but I dont think its worth it.
Nhi absolutely outdoes herself every time. Clean and fun environment.
The older woman cut my toe so bad I had to have a band-aid on it she didnt have her glasses on I had a very bad experience I will not be going back
Highly recommend this Nail Salon!
The LA nails is passing pandemic fees on to their clients in having them pay an extra $20 to get their nails done to pay for masks and hand sanitizer. I recommend not going. They did not disclose to me this extra charge when I came in and expected me to pay it.
Erica did an amazing job with my acrylics for my birthday. Will definitely be returning to her!
Erica is amazing, and I will totally come back to see her. She did an excellent job, and was very friendly.HOWEVER, I booked an appointment for noon, I showed up 5 minutes early, and my appointment didnt start until 12:40!! I was incredibly disappointed with this, as I did not intend to spend 2 hours of my day there. Dont let people make appointments if you dont intend to keep them! I would have been more upset, had Erica not been so friendly and good at her job.
Erika is awesome did such a great job and gave me the perfect shape
I had a great experience here at LA Nails! Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable about nail health. I appreciate the advice and great care they took to make my nails gorgeous! Highly recommended!!!
Such a great nail salon! I felt right at home my first visit about 2 weeks ago. Everyone was laughing and having a great time. My nails turned out great and I was very happy when I left!
Went there today and on their menu board it says $35 for gel nail full set. Next it’s $45. But weird how it’s only $40 TOTAL WITH TIP for my sister. Oh but apparently “she’s a regular.” Then of course add another $10 for the shape because that’s definitely worth $10. So $55 for a full set. Might as well travel to Los Angeles and go to where celebrities go at this point. Almost felt like taking their ridiculous made up prices (on the go) out of the ladies tip. Will not be going back & most definitely do NOT recommend. Also they do indeed talk poorly about their customers as I do speak their language and can most definitely understand.
I have been regularly going to la nails for almost 4 years now and it has been amazing. My nails have NEVER ever disappointed me. Any time i have gone elsewhere, they just werent the same. Kim shapes them so perfectly and has such a good selection of colors. The price is really good especially for how good of a job they do at la nails! I definitely recommend going to see Kim!
I had a great experience with LA nails! I got acrylics for the second time in my life and Erika did an amazing job. She really took her time and made sure each nail was perfect! She was also very sweet and helpful considering I didn’t know anything about acrylics! I absolutely love my nails and would recommend this salon to anyone.
They did a good job. But be careful of their pricing. Lady told me a price at the beginning and then it ended up being $10 more than what she said.
I have been everywhere in town and In loveland and L.A. Nails by far has the best atmosphere, no one yelling or rudeness.Very nice people and the nails are awesome !! They pay attention to details and the quality of work is the best in this area. I personally love Anee! She is awesome! But all the ladies are very good! You owe it to yourself to check it out .You wont be sorry!!!
By far my most favorite place to get my nails done! The owner Kim is AMAZING, fast, does an amazing job, and very nice. All the employees in the salon are divine they are all so friendly and all do so good. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get in, and get out and have amazing nails in the end
Kim is an artist! Ive been getting nails done by her for years and she never disappoints!!
Pedicure was good. But customer service lacked. We were gonna do a full set of nails and they kept saying another ten minutes and taking people on front of us. So we paid for pedicures and left. Wk t be back
Best nail salon in foco. Best nail technician is Erika Avalos.
I have been coming to LA Nails for a little over a year now and they never disappoint! I chose today to write a review because I had two amazing nail techs and just had to sing their praises. Erica did my pedicure today and was very meticulous with my cuticles, massage, and shaping. She did a beautiful paint job as well! I also had a fill with shellac, which I usually get done by Kim. Today I had Peter, and he was incredible! Not only did he rebase my acrylics and give me beautiful shellac, but he gave me a manicure as well! Long story short, I ended up with a beautiful pedicure (with callus removal and sea salt scrub) plus my fill with shellac, and got ALL of this for only $60! This is hands down the best nail salon in Ft Collins.
Wonderful! My acrylic gel nails are gorgeous! Kim did mine and she did so so well. They were pretty busy so it maybe worth making an appointment. Even if you have to wait it is well worth the time. Everyone there was working so hard and killing it! Thank you Kim and everyone at LA Nails!
Went in for a rebase on a weekday, sat and waited, 2 people came in for an appointment, so I understood and waited, then after about 50 minutes, got told I’d be next after the owner finished. She called me up to the chair and then someone else said they were next so I got told to go sit somewhere else. I left. If it’s appointment only during the week, advertise that. Don’t have people sitting there with no intention of having their nails done.
Ive had acrylics done multiple times and had them on for the better part of the last 5 years. I have never had a more uncomfortable, painful and humiliating experience at a nail salon. The guy that did my nails was rude from the beginning. He buffed/filed my nails with the electronic file so hard that each one was literally burning and some were filed down to raw skin. One was filed so much at my cuticles that it was bleeding quite a bit. He got irritated at this and told me that I had dry hands and needed to use lotion (I use lotion on my hands multiple times a day). He tried to place the blame on me for his lack of skill (and care) doing nails. Instead of waiting for the bleeding to stop on the finger that he had filed down to the skin, he quickly wiped it with a paper towel and then used the super glue they use to attach the white tip and put some glue over the open wound. Then put the acrylic right over it. To this day, you can see dried blood and a streak of blood across my nail. This was one of three places that I was bleeding on my hands because of his tactics. It was horrible. This was the most painful manicure that I have ever received. And they dont even look good at all. They were hastily done with zero care or concern. I will never go back here. I waited a few weeks to write this review because I know how impactful reviews can be on a business but I think its important to share this experience to helpfully help a customer before they choose to do business with L.A. Nails. I wish I could give 0 stars.
Ill probably never come back here again. I went here for cheap manicures before and I thought they were great but my last experience was awful. I had this older woman who was pretty rude and didnt do a very good job. When it came time to fix my cuticles the sterile bag with the tools was already opened. (The most common place to contract hepatitis C is at a nail salon so I really like to know that the tools are sterile). When I asked her to get another sterile bag with tools I knew would be clean she refused. Then proceeded to make me bleed pretty bad on my thumb so lets hope I didnt contract hepatitis.... 🙄 She seemed pretty annoyed when I asked her to put another coat of paint of my nails because it was pretty patchy. Whats annoying is they make you pay before your nails get painted (and therefore tip as well). That on its own seems pretty rude to me to rush the payment and basically force me to tip before the service is over. I dont get my nails done extremely often but Ive gotten them done enough at enough places to know that thats a pretty weird practice and Im personally not a fan of it. Probably wont ever come back.
Went there for a mani. It took almost an hour to get a seat. I had to complain saying I had to leave soon and couldnt wait any longer. Another time I went, the girl took my $20 and refused to give me change saying she didnt have change. I usually tip very generously but to take and expect it is another thing.
My nails were fine, but the experience here was...interesting. I was told it would be a ten minute wait and I sat for about 20-30 minutes before I was seated. Getting my nails done was fine, but I got acrylics and she put them on but before she painted them she asked me to pay her. Then when she finished painting them she told me to sit under the light to dry them but didnt tell me how long. She started on two other peoples nails and still didnt say a word to me, and I was sitting there for a good 30 minutes so I finally decided to just leave and I still wasnt spoken to by her, another nail tech said goodbye. Good product and prices, bad customer service.
The lady who owns the shop is probably the best technician there, but the rest of the ladies that work there do a very good job. This place is always busy, and its because theyre good at their trade
I have been getting my nails done for 7+ years now and never once had my nails hurt this bad.The guy who did my nails hurt me over and over again, and I got them done 2 days ago and they are already starting to fall off.. something isn’t right here. I’ve heard amazing things about all the other employees so I decided to try this place out, and the one time I go to another place, I get basic nails for 50+, And none of them are on right and all look different sizes. Very disappointed:(.
They do a good job on nails but..They always start on my nails then someone else will come in and they just drop me and go work on them and have me waiting there like??? And they keep me waiting for a long time. I see them doing that to a lot of people. I had an appointment and I always tip well. Its really annoying.. & I always feel so rushed /: See for yourself the same thing will probably happen to you!
They are so nice and helpful. Everyone that works there does a great job. The owners really know how to run a business. I would recommend this nail salon to anyone. Anthony is one of the best in town with all his great new and fun ideas if you are looking for something a little more fun. Please check them out I have been going to them for years!
Best place in Fort collins they go above and beyond love my nails!! Erica takes her time made sure I was happy with results.
Kim is the owner and she does a really good job, my solar nails last for 4 weeks until they grow out. The price is less expensive than other competitors. I never have to make an appointment, they greet me by name and always fit me in. Ive had pedicures here as well and always felt pampered. I have no reason to go elsewhere.
I heard Kim was the best at doing acrylics so I went and asked for her. She was fine and doing a nice job when I mentioned I was going to use a coupon they sent out for my service. Her demeanor totally changed and she became very rude, she rushed the acrylic and polish and it came out chunky and she did not care one bit. I used the coupon but still ended up paying way more for how terrible my nails looked. Awful service will never go back.
This nail spa is by far the best in Fort Collins. Im rough on my nails and have searched high and low for a nail salon that will do my nails well enough to not lift after just a few days and still look pretty. After trying about a dozen nail spas in Fort Collins I finally came to L.A. Nails and havent been happier. My nails will last 4 weeks at least. Theyre so nice, can speak English well, and are decently priced. Also voted best nail salon for 4 consecutive years. I moved to Windsor and will still make the drive to have my nails done.
They do a great job with any nail desires you have. Friendly staff, upbeat atmosphere. However it takes FOREVER. They are constantly under staffed. Additionally there is always kids horsing around. If you want a peaceful pedi this may not be the place for you.
Always provide fantastic, quality service for an affordable price. Always have coupons for students. Even when its extremely busy they make sure you know they didnt forget about you. Love! Been coming here all four years at CSU
Call ahead and make an appointment with Kim. Everyone there is great, but shes got game. Ive never lost a nail that she put on. There are coupons on the website. Be sure to print them off as they are not accepted otherwise.
If you get anything basic like a manicure or a shellac manicure they will find ways to charge you more. I got multiple colors on my nails and instead of telling me before hand that it will cost more, Kim waited till my hands were done to add an additional $8. Dont come here its honestly a rip off.
The ladies were nice Sweet was amazing with my daughter! Attentive and detail Ed delightful!
I have been to this nail shop twice, two different times and they were fast, and did not try to up sell the product BUT the set of nails I received were garbage!! And this was just a fill and a color change this time!! After one day my polish had a weird bubbling on what should have been a smooth, shiny surface. When I came back the next day to bring it to the attention of what I assumed to be the owner, she disregarded my complaint and only offered to put a clear coat over the crappy nail polish, interrupting the client she was working on to drag my hand over to where she was seated, in between herself and the other customer!!! My first experience at this place was equally terrible as they were too fast and nicked my cuticles multiple times and didnt offer any apologies, just put their finger over my bleeding fingers and continued working like nothing was wrong and CHARGED ME FULL PRICE after injuring me multiple times!! I dont know why I tried to give them a second try! Terrible work and even worse customer service. LA nails is the WORST nail shop I have ever had the dissatisfaction of spending time and money at. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
Easily the worst Fort Collins has to offer. Don’t bother making an appointment, it doesn’t matter. Products are shite. Go anywhere else and you’ll be better off. Nails 2000, Venus Nails, 1st Nails, Nice Nails, U Got Nails, Sky Nails, even Rose Nails closed for over 10 years- are all miles above this joint.
I dont go anywhere else in Ft.Collins. No one else is as detail oriented as Kim and her amazing crew of nail techs. I am a perfectionist and they make sure to get it right every time. If I ever have issues they fix it at no charge to me. I highly recommend LA nails to anyone looking for excellent service, friendly people, and beautiful nails!
I have been coming to this nail salon for years and always ask for erika she has done an amazing job. Every. Single. Time. She Is always super friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make my nails look great and me walking out the door with a smile on my face. Couldnt be happier with her service! The nail salon itself is always super friendly and always willing to do alot for me:)
Yeah, 7 out of 10 of my Acrylic nails with gel polish completely broke within two weeks. The nail tech was new at doing nails and told me upfront but if my nails are going to be used as practice and Im going to have to go back to the shop 7 times Id like a discount. All of my nails were fixed for free and the staff if very friendly but $55 dollars to be completely inconvenienced is ridiculous.
KEYANA IS AMAZING! I will never go to another shop. She is a perfectionist and a professional. Thank you so much!
I went in to get a rebase on my nails this weekend and the Owner Kim did my nails, she did them in record time but they came out horrible I have ripples in them and not only that she is very rude and non professional in the way she talks to her employees. The Salon has a lot of nice employees who do a great job but I will say dont go to Kim if you want the job done right.
Waited two hours to get my nails done. Never got to get them done. None of them really cared to make you wait. More concerned with leaving when they wanted to.
If you want fantastic, chic, beautiful nails I would suggest going here! My nails are just what I asked for and I couldn’t be happier!! Such a great experience! Even with my two kids starting to get a little bored the whole staff was so patient! Erika even stopped what she was doing to help them get water ❤️❤️❤️ Nhi ( sorry sweetie if the spelling is super off 🙂) was very professional and I will absolutely be a frequent flyer with you and thank you soo much
Really dark and dingy place.
I went in Sunday to get my shellac redone. Whoever helped me diidnt introduce herself. Nor did she even talk to me while doing my nails. She talked to her family that worked there in their language. My nails came out streaky and a mess. Not going.back. and will not and wont recommend this place. At 20mins till 5, a mom and daughter came in. They wanted to change nail polish colors. They were turned away cause they close at 5. No where is there a sign that says the will not except clients at a certain time. Rude, bad work and not recommend
Erica is simply such a pleasure to be around.
I usually go here because I live across the street so its convenient for me. Ive never had any complaints before today. I came in wanting my eyebrows waxed and ended up spending over an hour waiting. There was only one person in front of me when I came in but while I sat there waiting they continued to let people who were getting manicures and pedicures go before me. Its ridiculous that I wanted that long for an eyebrow waxing. I will not be returning.
I will NEVER go back to LA Nails. I made an appointment for 6:30, I got there at about 6:15, and I didnt even sit in a chair to get my nails done until 7:30. The girl who did my nails was rude, and when I told her I wanted an almond shape, she told me it would be $10 extra. Really? $10 extra just for an almond shape? I could file them myself for free. She said shed rather do a square shape because its easier and she was tired. My nails are uneven and lopsided. I couldnt even get them painted because I waited so long to get them done. When I called back later to see about getting my money back she refused to give me a name or phone number of the owner, and HUNG UP ON ME. Would NEVER go back, and will warn EVERYBODY I know not to go there!
These people work hard, got me in and did a good job.
I used to love this place, but it has really gone downhill in the past year. The last three times I have gone to get my nails done, they have said the wait would be ten minutes and I end up waiting 45 minutes. I am not even exaggerating.Today, while my hands soaked before my manicure, my nail tech decided to eat her dinner. I waited fifteen minutes before she returned, with no explanation or apology, other than the smile of fried food. Yum. Three hours after I got home, my nails still hadnt dried and smeared, so I ended up just removing the polish. The first pedicure chair they put me in was dirty and I had to request as new one. The new chair they put me in had a broken massage function, so I just sat there. To top it off, the polish is streaky and bubbled, so I ended up removing that too.The polish is cheap polish from Wal-Mart. Waste of $35
I used to go here years ago for lacquer nails. I always had them done by Kim, and she did a great job. She was always nice, price was consistent, I got a lot of compliments on my nails. I stopped having them done more than 5 years ago, because I just couldnt afford it. I did go there for a few pedicures a couple years ago. I always ended up with nicked, bleeding cuticles, in more than one place, and my heels always felt like sandpaper afterwards. From reading more recent reviews, it does sound like the place gone downhill. Too bad. They used to be excellent.
This has been my go-to place for acrylics for 2 years now! Ni is incredibly sweet and does an AMAZING job every time. Ill be going to her for as long as I stay in foco!!!!!!! ♡
LA is the only place I go for my nails and pedicures Kim, Nhi, Cora and Erika are the best they all do amazing nails the wait can be long but definitely worth it! The long wait is out of their control but calling ahead will help 😉
They always change the price for the same exact service and its a $5-$10 difference, its just how shes feeling that day, and by she I mean the owner she doesnt go by the price sheet on the wall and when you tell her she will say we just changed the price they did a horrible job on my shellac did not buff or file them so it peeled 3 days later. Dont waste your money go elsewhere you will get better service and a better job.
I love Nhi for my nails!! Also Erika is great too!!💙
Number one place to go to get your nails done. Friendly people, just love them all
Great prices, great atmosphere and vibes. They are great here. Love this place
Awful customer service DO NOT GO. I was practically rushed out of my seat by someone who seemed like the owner. She treated the girl who was first doing my nails like she was a slave worker. Then manager lady tells girl to go do someone else’s and quickly does my paint on my toes. She didn’t use base coat. And missed a spot while painting. She didn’t even asked if I was satisfied before kicking me out of my chair. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS
Nii can do anything I bring in pict6from pinterest and they always come out nicer
The first time I came here I got a full set of acrylics, and the girl took almost 3 hours to do them. I came here two weeks later for a fill and the guy did them and he cut me super bad, and also did not even cut my cuticles and also got gel polish all over my skin and left it there. His fingers were super gnarly and he had super long nails with a bunch of dirt under them and he kept digging his nails into my skin (so gross). I also noticed they don’t sanitize ANY of their tools after using them and the table I was sitting at had nail dust and skin left over from the last person! After this Horrible experience, they charged me $30 instead of the $20 fill I asked for and I didn’t get nail art or anything.
Not happy with what I paid for. I wanted a fill in and they just did whatever they wanted.I got push off onto 3 different ppl. And my nails cracked and started popping off in 2 days. I will never go back.
Affordable and quality nails everytime!
My fav place!! Always up to whatever nail art i want! Very talented artists
Super nice, good service. My nails look so good, definitely coming back for that fill!!
I used to get my nails done here regularly, but the last time I went I had a horrible experience. Employees were rude and unprofessional, and despite not being busy, made us feel like they were annoyed we had walked in. The woman who did my nails made 4/10 of my cuticle beds bleed so badly that they were visibly damaged for a week following. I paid for a full shellac manicure and did not receive any typical treatments; she just cut my cuticles and put the polish on. Unfortunately I do not plan to return ever! Such a bad experience and waste of money.
This is the only place I go to get acrylic over top of my natural nails. Nhi (I probably spelled that wrong sorry girl!) takes her time on me and does an amazing job! She always nails it (pun intended) even when I show her a reference picture that Im sure is going to be too complicated to replicate. Usually they turn out even better than the picture! Kim and Kora also do fantastic work.
Received gel manicure and regular pedicure. My gel manicure shipped and peeled off in less than a week. To remove my previous gel manicure they soaked my entire finger tips in acetone which is damaging to skin. Also, the water for my pedicure was so hot I couldnt put my feet in it for the first five minutes. The technicians are not friendly or helpful either. LA Nails might have good prices, but you definitely get what you pay for.
I usually love going to get my nails done here. I went in yesterday for a full set and I have nothing but cuts on my hands from the machines they used. They need to be more careful on what they do and pay more attention because this is unacceptable.
Got a set of om bre nails .. from Cora .. Awesome job... .love them 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thank You 😁 💕
Friendly, nice atmosphere. Great pedicure, but my mani held up less than a day.
This place is so hit and miss...if you get Kim or her niece your nails will look great and you’ll be treated well. Anyone else though, I’ve had really bad experiences - nails will turn out crooked, SUPER thick, shorter than I asked for, etc. and they all change their prices. Kim will charge me $45 and the guy will charge me $65 for the same set. If you go, just ask for Kim or her niece!!
Have been going there for quite a while now, for acrilic nails and pedicures i love the the crew kim does my nails and Erica does my pedicures, very skilled many years experience and wonderfull to talk and gossip with.
I did my ombre nails here, and they are amazing!! Thank you! 💅🏻❤️
