The first, third and fourth pictures are what i got and the second is what i showed the nail tech, but i asked for ALMOND SHAPED NAILS and i got completely uneven, terrible nails. i asked for a refund and the owner started screaming at me as if i had done something wrong. the pinkies were completely uneven and the nails were ridiculous and sharp, the undersides were covered in glue and unsanded, chunks of acrylic and glue sticking out. the owner yelled at me that i should have told them when i was there, but it was my first experience and i just wanted to get out of there in addition to not really having any extra time, and why would i come in to get my nails fixed at a place that completely ruined my nails? the acrylic is bumpy, and the gel coat isnt even covering my whole nail bed. unprofessional and not worth the money, and WHEN they mess up you WILL get screamed at by an aggressive man. i cannot stress how upsetting it was that i tried to give them an opportunity to fix the situation IN PRIVATE by refunding the base price of the nails (not even the tip i left, just the nails!) and instead was screamed at and insulted. you are rolling the dice coming here, i am very unhappy and disappointed. truly my issue is with the owner, the nail tech may have been having an off day.

Tim is awesome and so is BryanI have Been in Fort Collins for 3 months and this is the first shop to make me feel welcomed and wanted as a customer. My nails turned out just how I wanted. Plus I was a last minute appointment and still got the best service.

I’ve been to SO MANY nail salons in Fort Collins and finally found Venus Nails. I will not be going anywhere else, my nails always turn out beautifully. Tim and Brian do such an amazing job. They really listen to what you want and give high quality work that lasts! Highly recommend this place!

What I asked for versus what I got. The nails were peeling when I got to my car and all the nails were uneven. I had to go to another salon to get a repaint and shaping. I wont ever return to Venus. The tech Q just didnt care. No I didnt complain to the owner or refuse to pay for them. I paid for the services and left. I will not return.

Sunny is an artist. Not even kidding. My nails havent looked this good in years. She has an impeccable attention to detail, and finished up my acrylic fill with a hand massage, which was unexpected and definitely appreciated. She recommended this magnetic metallic color thing that just looks mesmerizing. I literally cannot stop staring at my hands. Tip her well. I will be back here to see her for sure.Update with new photos: came again 8/27 and got navy with rainbow metallic ombre tips. Looks amazing! Sunny is very accommodating of my requests for unusual colors and combinations.Update with new photos: 9/18..matte black with beige accent nail and switched it up to coffin shape. LOVE THEM! What I got and what I wanted...I think they may need to practice designs more or something I am very sad, they are all so nice and sweet and very respectful but this isnt okay. I dont even want to show off my toes. We were the only 2 people in there!

I am very happy with the service I received today. The receptionist was friendly and Tea worked wonders on my nails. I appreciate that she listened to what I wanted and didnt try to talk me into something else. I really wanted to start fixing my natural nails and she has given me a great start toward that goal.

This was my first time coming in. It has been about 2 years since I’ve had a full set done. In the past I’ve had my hands and nails be tender and sore. This was not the case here! My nail tech was so gentle with my hands and not to mention the quality was amazing. I will definitely be returning. Really enjoyed coming here.

Jennifer was amazing. I needed a pick me up, walk in appointment. I got seated right away and picked my color and service. Pedicure was very relaxing and Jennifer made me feel very comfortable! Gel pedicure turned out great.

I went in today, and will never go anywhere else. they did marble on my nails and i’ve been turned away by so many businesses who won’t do it. My nails are beyond amazing! i’m obsessed in every way! the workers were so friendly and it is an amazing environment. 10/10 recommend. this is a 45 min commute i will happily make to get amazing nails.

Nails were not straight, my nails werent even completely painted! I got a full set put on and tigers eye effect, the color looked amazing but they looked like I got them a week ago and they grew out rather then freshly done. Some nails are even wrongly sized for my nail size which makes them even more depressing to look at, they could of been amazing! I gave a 2 star rating instead of one just purely on the color being amazing but everything else was such a huge let down.

They are the only shop that I’ve ever been to that claimed that they don’t carry basic rhinestones/nail bling so I was not able to get the basic design that I desired. The area around my nails were left an absolute mess. I had to go to their sink and scrub my fingers red because they tried to have me leave the establishment looking a mess and I refused to walk out like that.The artist was skilled but the overall experience was not worth how much I paid

I booked an appointment online, when I showed up they said that they are usually closed, I asked why I was able to book for that time and they didnt answer me. The owner was rude, the young man that worked on my daughter was inappropriate with what he was talking about and unprofessional, the gel nails that I got were horrible, my finger polish fell off within a week.

Very happy with my experience. My daughter and I visited for a shellac manicure and pedicure. It was not nearly as crowded as the Nail Bar in Fort Collins and I did not feel rushed at all. I will definitely come here again.

Had an appointment for 10:30- showed up 5 minutes early and a employee told me to pick a color. He told me just a few minutes when I walked in, then after ten minutes he was just starting her gel polish. He me only “5 more minutes” to do polish— Anyone who’s had nails done before knows applying gel takes longer than 5 minutes. Overall extremely disappointed, and the male employee was rather short with me, especially when I told him I was not going to wait any longer. Will never be back.

After trying to schedule an appointment with my regular nail tech Aiden....I was informed he doesnt work there anymore. They asked if I would schedule with someone else, which I did today at 12:30. When I arrived they said it was not possible that they could see me. Did not offer any other technician or any other compromise...I came all the way from wellington! Will never come here again or recommend it to anyone! Terrible service !

Brian did a great job on my nails. Previous salon left my nails very thick. He took the time to thin them down and make them look more natural. I will be back to see him!

The pedicure was rushed. My feet felt the same they did before I went in. The manicure was decent. But not worth the money that is charged.

I have never gotten my nails done so quickly and had them come out perfect. It took 40mins for a full set of acrylics with gel polish. Fair pricing, nice shop and great nail techs who were very fun to talk to.

My wife goes here to get her nails done and I get a manicure. I’ve never been one for manicures and pedicures but this place is the best. I will be getting either a manicure or a pedicure or both honestly every time my wife gets her nails done!

Just amazing!! I was missing my nails during COVID-19 they gt me right in the chair and took amazing care of me, very attentive to detail, just a wonderful place!

I really like Tim, the owner, and followed him over from the place he was at in Windsor. I always make an appointment so I don’t have to wait, which works well. Tim is always up to try all the new ideas of designs I find online and he does my dip manicure the way I like it.

I wanted something very particular and Tim made it happen. I wanted short acrylic with no tips, classy and natural. They came out just lie I hoped. The salon is nice and clean. Recommend!

Very disappointed.. have been here many times and haven’t had an issue until last week I went in asked for coffin shaped and half of them were squared and half coffin. When I told them I didn’t like the shape they didn’t do anything to fix them. I also got my toes done and the polish was see-through when I got done:/ I will not be returning. And I will be warning others.

If your looking for a new nail salon Venus Nails is under new management and Elly has done an amazing job. She has turned the salon into such a relaxing atmosphere and doubled the size of the pedicure area that is separate from the manicure stations and perfect for large groups, bridal parties, or if your an exhausted mom who wants to nap while they massage your feet! I’ve been seeing Tom for over 7 years and being in the hair industry it’s very difficult keeping your freshly manicured nails true to color but he does a phenomenal job. They are up to date on all the new nail techniques and have a wide variety of colors to choose from. If I can’t get in to see Tom his sister Elly or brother Aiden do just as good of a job. Consistency is key and they are all trained to make you look your very best!

Paid $20 for a manicure. Basic. Clean up and color. The woman that did my manicure rushed through my manicure like a race horse. For the price and service i am very unsatisfied with my manicure. My friend got a full blown dip gel manicure for $40 and had a gentlemen do her set and it came out very nice. My manicure came out bumpy, uneven, nail polish left on my skin, and dead skin left around my nails. Would not recommend getting a manicure here. Not sure of the quality of their other serivces though. I feel like for $20 it defitnely could of came out better. Kind of feel like i wasted my money, which is unfortunate because i was really looking forward to having my nails cleaned up and polished.

It was recommended to me to try tom however he was already with a client. A girl did my pedi and at first I thought it might be her first day but it wasnt. Not only did she cut to short when I said not too, she filed and scrapped so much that my toes were bright red and I had to say stop- even the next day my feet and especially my toes hurt. The employee next to us was telling the her client that only 3 stayed & the rest of employees are new. Paid extra for more but got the least package. I get pedis alot and never experienced such bad service.

On one hand they were nice and the gentleman that did my pedi was very focused. However, the gentleman that did my moms pedi was not and disappeared on her a few times. The massage with the pedi was good(however, my mom barely got a massage -her tech was in such a rush) but shape of nails are not good. As I am typing this my mom is reshaping her nails and we have only had them done for 3hrs... Also, when putting on my moms shoe he totally brushed off all the polish on her big toe and had to redo it while in her shoe. Accidents happen but it is kind of common sense not to put shoes on with wet nail polish.
