We lived here for a year and it was way too long. Going in when we applied, the leasing staff was so rude and inattentive. 2 weeks after I applied I still had heard not a single word from them, despite me calling and emailing on more than one occasion. The leasing agent was among the worst I’ve worked with in town. I believe they have a whole new staff now though, thank god. We got an approval letter before we even sent in proof of income. I was hoping that once we got in, the pathetic communication wouldn’t be an issue because we are easy renters. However, the apartment had tons of maintenance issues, which were all reported immediately….and then several times for months after until we eventually gave up. Not a single work order was completed and not a single email or phone call response was EVER received from the leasing office. I had to go to the office if I wanted a chance to maybe talk to someone and then still not have anything taken care of. I had a friend warn me about this before we moved in but I didn’t think a management company could be THAT inattentive to that many residents, but it appears to be a common issue. Go elsewhere.
The leasing staff makes it impossible to resolve issues regarding my lease/apartment. I will call about a problem but the problem hasn’t been fixed and it’s been 3 months! It’s difficult to get in contact with the property manager and the staff will tell me they will contact me back but no call back, no emails, nothing. It’s frustrating to live here knowing we have zero help or support within the leasing staff and the property manager herself. I would not recommend anyone to live here. The apartment may look nice but it’s not worth it. Save your time and don’t look here.
Just another big name company that does everything they can to milk people of money. Not only are the amenities closed or broken a decent bit, but we recently moved out and received a large bill for things they had to “replace” that weren’t even in bad condition or more than normal wear after 3 years of living there. It’s ridiculous, actually. I can’t even count how many times we’ve had to go to the office because something wasn’t working right. Not to mention parking is a NIGHTMARE. Save yourself the stress and find somewhere else that is actually reasonable and doesn’t expect the place to look exactly how it did when they very first built them with no signs of ever being lived in because it’ll come back to bite you in the behind with a big bill. The apartments might look nice, but aren’t worth it. Also our neighbor with an identical floorplan was paying $100 less than us and when we got offered to renew our lease they were trying to INCREASE our rent. Mcwhinney is a joke.
Absolutely, Most disappointing management ive ever dealt with messed up lease paper work 3 separate times, at the time nicely passing a late fee because of a mistake caused by them. Upon move out I was told I had zero outstanding balance or any problems with my apartment and months later received a call saying I owed them a late fee. This management may be kind but they can not handle paper work or any information regarding payments of anything. Extraordinary unhelpful upon confronting them with paper work of proof of payments and signed documentation of claiming the late fee as their fault. None the less I was told it would be sent to collections sticking me in a place I was forced to pay something promised to be wiped from my account and got to pay late fees as well. Horrible Management with an inability to take accountability for actions and screwing me and others I am now aware of out of money for reasons caused by the management of this complex. I advice anyone who signs a lease with this management to be cautious and get copies signed by management of absolutely every thing given to you or given to them so nobody gets put in such a bad place my a poorly run company
Laura the property manager is Fantastic! Helped out in several different ways from the garages, complaints and the moving process. During my time living there I’ve seen significant changes at that property since she arrived. Additionally Diamond the leasing professional is Great. Communication has always been on point from the office. I don’t know the maintenance supervisor name however he has been professional and understanding. Been meaning to leave a review for a while. Thank you for all your help!🌼🌼
My husband and I have rented a studio apartment at Cycle for the last 6 months and have really enjoyed it. The amenities are great, and make the higher rent worth it. The pool is really nice and spa-like and our dogs have loved the dog park. Weve had a couple of minor maintenance issues and Bradley has come out promptly both times and been super friendly and helpful. We had some issues with the office staff at first, but once we met Laura we have been taken care of ever since. She is prompt in returning emails and she went the extra mile in getting us a temporary garage while there was construction in front of ours for a week. Parking can definitely be an issue, so I do recommend a garage, but our issues otherwise have been minimal. Thank you, Laura! You have made our time at Cycle lovely.
Beautiful property but staff (at least that I dealt with) was very off putting. Went to tour cycle and was extremely unimpressed with the leasing agent I dealt with. She sat me down, asked what my move in date was, wrote some numbers down on paper without any discussion, gave me a key and told me to go look at the unit myself and didn’t provide a map or any information to find the unit. Asked if I could look at the amenities with the key she provided and was told, “yeah the key will work.. you’ll see the signs for the amenities.” Zero information or direction was given. I’ve been touring several luxury apartments in Fort Collins and every other leasing agent has walked me through the property, answered all of my questions, provided additional information on the property/amenities/events put on... every other property has made me feel very welcome. I honestly had my choice narrowed down to Cycle and one other apartment complex and decided on the other, more expensive complex, solely because of the poor customer service I received here. Very upsetting.
Great apartment and great staff. The property is maintained beautifully. When you need anythng the staff is always available and accomodating. This is a wonderful place to live in Foco. Its quiet, safe and the apartments are really nice. We toured a lot of places and this is clearly the best place to live. Parking is a bit of an issue but they are trying to resolve the problem. You can rent a garage which is great.
I lived here for a year and never had a bad experience. Front desk was friendly and always good to me.
UPDATE: My original review was based on my ongoing frustration with the management. However, they reached out to me and gave me a chance to speak with a manager Laura. I really appreciate this act and I think this is what a good customer service is about. This year has not been easy for them or us residents and many issues arose only because of COVID and restrictions associated with it. I dont want to discourage other people from living at Cycle Apartments and I truly believe that if the management improves, Cycle Apartments are one of the best places in Fort Collins to live.Original review: Apartments are great but the management is simply ruining the experience of living in here.
I want to scream from the rooftops about how AMAZING my experience with the staff of this community has been! I have lived in the community for just over a year and this is the 3rd rental company I have leased with in Fort Collins and it’s true that the 3rd times the charm!Laura, who manages the leasing team, is thorough, accommodating, communicative and professional. On the few occasions that I have had an issue that needs to be made right, there is never any heel digging or sighing, she advocates for her tenants and truly does everything she can to create a positive experience - the first time! The apartments and amenities are clean and well-kept and pricing is fair - especially considering the value.Bottom line: If you’re tired of bad leasing experiences, stop searching and sign a lease.
We have lived here for a month and it has been amazing to say the least. From the start Diamond has been so responsive and helpful! She has accommodated all of our wants and needs! If you need an apartment I highly recommend going to Diamond so you can find the perfect home that fits you, she has truly gone the extra mile to make sure we found somewhere we love. It has been an amazing experience due to Diamond helping us along the way and making it an easy transition.
Diamond was AMAZING! She helped us get our dream apartment and we couldnt be any happier with our new place! She was extremely helpful and made every step of the way super easy! We had a million and one questions and she had the perfect answer for each one. If youre looking into cycle apartments we definitely recommend using Diamond to help you find your new place, you wont regret it! Alex the maintenance man is extremely helpful as well, hes super fast at responding so whatever you need done, hes the man for the job. We love cycle apartments and are so glad we chose to live here, its a great community and we highly recommend it to anyone who is apartment hunting!
I have lived here for a little over 4 months now and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The amenities are beautiful. The property is well kept. The office is friendly and responsive. Diamond was super helpful with the move in process and our needs that followed.
I had the pleasure of touring this complex with Diamond Phillips. She was amazing right from the start and I ended up leasing for over a year. She showed us all around complex and was very patient. She listened to my needs and concerns and helped me find an apartment that was perfect. Thanks Diamond.
Diamond Phillips was amazing! She help my son with his apartment and with a peace of mind. By far, she was beyond professional and one of the best individuals we had to deal with securing a home away from home.
At first glance the apartment complex looks well maintained and nice. However after living here for a year we had constant issues with bed bugs. The management had exterminators come out but soon the entire building was full of bedbugs. All of my neighbors got bed bugs too.We spoke to the manager about the issues and she did not care. She pretty much neglected the issue and threatened to evict us if we spoke about the issues we had. Ended up having to move out and leave all our bed bug infested property.Look elsewhere for an apartment
Positives and negatives. Let me start with the positives: I thought my studio apt was fantastic. It only had one common wall and 3 sides to the outside. Having a W/D in the unit is great. When I first moved in I was the only one in the building and parking was a not an issue. After a few months and the place started to fill up, parking became a significant problem, at least in the building to the north. Id highly recommend a garage if your going to live here. Ive had mixed results contacting management to resolve problems. Be prepared to not have your questions answered in any hurry. Since its been awhile since I had an apartment, I was amazed at the extra charges added to my rent bill each month. This place passes through common utility costs and I suppose other costs like lawn care etc. to renters. While I suppose there is nothing unethical about this, what irked me was the complete lack of transparency. There was no breakdown of my extra charges each month so I dont know if I was charged correctly. This is the first apartment Ive ever rented which didnt figure these charges into the flat monthly rent. Again, I found it annoying. Ill leave my review on a high note: the location cant be beat. I think you can literally walk to everything you need to live day to day from these apartments. Bars, restaurants, movie, shopping - all kinds and even cleaners and alterations.
I called the main office and left a message on Sunday, it is now Friday, about kids heel kicking my door and the door of the unoccupied door of the apartment next to me. I haven’t heard a word from them. I even had to have maintenance come out to fix my door. They fixed it and said they would have the main office contact me. NOTHING. DO NOT MOVE IN TO THESE APRTMENTS.
Im honestly a bit surprise with the negative reviews. Every time I had a situation with staff, manager or maintenance-they worked with me to find a suitable compromise that fit my needs. On numerous occasions I waffled back and forth with my lease situation-- leasing agent Danielle was always nice and professional. Two separate times I had a maintenance issue and it was fixed within a day. Whenever I went to the office for any issue-package mix up, lost fob, etc...they were friendly and quick to help. Lastly, my work project was put on hold, forcing me to terminate my lease early--manager Laura found a way to accommodate my needs. If youre fair and a reasonable person and understand their corporate rules and procedures--youll enjoy living here.
We are signing our lease today with Cycle Apartments and they have been SO helpful! Weve been working with Diamond, a new hire, and she is super friendly and helpful! She showed us all around the apartment complex during our tour, answered our questions, and even let us use her personal laptop to complete our application since we forgot ours. She is super responsive via email, and even offered to call us to answer our questions. We were definitely concerned about some of the older reviews on Google and we brought these concerns to management before applying -- they explained that they were all recently hired in the last 6 months given the frequent complaints about management. From my experience, this new people are awesome! Shout-out to Diamond :)
Very happy with Cycle Apartments!I have lived at Cycle Apartments for a year now and Ive been extremely happy. I love my apartment and have had zero issues with noise or rowdy neighbors. My walls are not thin and the only time I hear my neighbor is if they let their front door slam. The office staff and maintenance crew have been really responsive with any work order Ive submitted. The grounds are well maintained and I love that they are close to restaurants, shopping and easy access to get around town. Pt friendly was a big issue for me and the property is great about providing plenty of dog stations with free bags and waste disposal.Im not sure why people are complaining about the fitness center--for the property its a really good size with plenty of equipment for a full body workout - weights and cardio. Ive never found it overcrowded and they do a decent job keeping it clean. The pool is very nice and open all year round and I like they have a bike repair, dog wash and dog park. Yes I pay for a garage but to me its worth is since many properties in Fort Collins do not have garages at all and if they do, you pay extra for them!Ive renewed my lease for another year and highly recommend this property.
I had an amazing time at Cycle! I was there for a week visiting family and wow, I wish I lived there! Pool is awesome, and the amenities are awesome! Even though it was winter, we were able to use the hot tub and the pool. Apartments are big and nice, and most people I ran into seemed friendly. We were close to a lot of bars and a good grocery store.PS: Lots of cute dogs, which is always a plus!
We downsized from a three bed house and though were apprehensive about moving back into an apartment community our life has been streamlined. I have two kids and a large breed dog, The dog park is amazing to have as well as the pet stations through out the property which makes it easy for pet clean up. The dog wash is great because you dont have to worry about hair in your bathtub from the pets. My kids love the pool in the summer. Its quiet, neighbors are all great. It is an apartment so you will hear people above you from time to time but thats standard. The finishes are nice, easy to maintain and keep clean. The gym is nice and clean and they provide towels in there for you. Of course it gets used it a gym and I think its great how they offer community events so if you want to get to know your neighbors you can. Its a walk away from Bar Louie which you get 15 percent off of all the time. Movies are a walk away. Tuesdays is five dollar movie night. Ice rink is right there too and summer concerts, you cant beat it honestly. You get what you pay for. I personally really dig the place. Thankful to be a part of the community!
Actually one of the better apartments I have lived in. Only problem I found was the lack of parking.
I signed a 6 month lease at Cycle because of all the great amenities and the cute apartment even though its a little more expensive than other apartments in the area. Im planning on renewing my lease, and now Im kicking myself for not signing a year lease in the first place! The amenities are awesome and even though theres so many apartments in the community, they are rarely busy. I love the community events and Ive made some great friends already. I love living at Cycle!
Really unfortunate that they don’t accept housing vouchers.
Parking is ridiculous for how much you pay. They haven’t said anything about making any changes. They only send emails about how they have a tow truck patrolling the parking lot and they can tow anyone’s car/truck with no warning or notification. Also no one can park in the empty mall parking lot cause you’ll get towed there too... Hopefully they figure something out.Everything else is cool though.
This is not an ideal time to be moving but Cycle Apartments and my contact person over there, Diamond Phillips, have been beyond amazing. She has been so responsive via email and text. She sent me a dozen videos of apartments and floor plans. I asked a million questions about the specific apartment I was signing a lease for and she dropped everything to FaceTime me to show me the exact apartment I would be in. After I signed the lease, she set up a time during this COVID19 crisis for me to independently tour the apartment, which I was ecstatic about! She made everything very easy to complete in order to move in this weekend. I couldnt be more excited to move into this community! Cycle Apartments and Diamond made me feel really confident about moving during this difficult time and signing a lease on an apartment I wasnt able to tour beforehand.
My experience here has been wonderful! Love all the extras!
The parking is a mess. They dont have enough parking for all of their residents, let alone enough garages for all of the residents. They charge you for 7-10 different things each month with no explanation to what your being charged for. It is just a general charge. The only nice thing is that they are brand new apartments. Once you pay for rent, its hard to find past statements. There has also been a bit of property damage which is surprising considering its a new apartment complex. It makes me think that it is all cheap material and quality. There was a giant hole in which it took over 4 months to fix.
Super visually appealing, just feel as though the rent is way too extreme. The amenities that we paid $350 for (on top of our rent) hardly work! Golf simulator never works correctly, spa jets don’t turn on, spa is sometimes cold, gym is TINY for the amount of buildings they have, as is the pool and spa (spa capacity is THREE!!). Also curfew is at 10 like we’re a bunch of kids, so you can’t go and grill late at night or hang in the hot tub. Just save money and headaches and don’t live here. Some of the staff, honestly, are not very friendly and make snide comments...
Cycle is amazing. The floor plans are great and the apartments and amenities are luxurious. The heated pool is perfect. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Wonderful place to live!
I live at Cycle and I love the community that has been developed in such a short amount of time. The staff is outstanding, the amenities are extraordinary and the environment is inviting! I would recommend these apartments to anyone! Cheers!
The location is great! The apartment layout is so spacious and the staff is on top it!
We rent a studio apartment and its pretty nice. Its an apartment building youre going to hear noise on occasion.Id say the smell of dog poop and parking are probably the only problems Ive seen. Im mean if thats our only problem then where doing great. Honestly, neither is cycles fault. The gym, pool, bar/ lounge areas are an awesome add to the buildings. If you go at popular times you run into more people but we go when things are less popular. If you want a bigger gym feel free to go to the mall gym...
This apartment is fantastic! New inside and really cool. Solid built. We have lived in many apartments across the country, this is the best. Eva is awesome as well as Danny and Matt. Turned in a small list of things and maintenance nailed it perfectly. Its not expensive considering you can walk to everything the Foothills has to offer which is 3 great bars.Wayde Hayen
Absolutely dreadful place to live. The leasing staff and management team are horrible. Its the blind leading the blind, nothing but unkept promises and disappointed Tennants. We moved in two months ago and our new apartment was an absolute disaster. It was infested with spiders, all three sinks were leaking which lead to mold under the master bath sink, there were stains on the carpets and the whole apartment smelled like dog pee. Management finally agreed to move us after several weeks and then CHARGED US for damages that were part of the reason they agreed to let us move! Needless to say we broke our lease and left. DO. NOT. RENT. FROM. THESE. PEOPLE.
Very pretty, nice location.
After living in cycle for just half the lease we have realized what a mistake renting here was. Yes, the show they put when you first tour the building make them very unique. But let me tell you...... In 6 months the jets have worked a total of 3 times. The beer they say is available due to construction is always locked and not available. The gym is over crowded. It is way too small for the number of units they have. If you like waiting for equipment or having some one steal your machine in between sets this is your comfort zone. :( the golf simulator has worked once out of the 10-15 times we have tried to play. If you even try to complain to any one in the office or ask when something is going to be fixed, you better be prepared for a fight or to be snarled at with no resolve insight. We have talked with several of the other tenants and their experiences are the same. The desk staff is unhelpful and makes you feel like you are bothering them. All of this before I even get started on my unit. The walls are so paper thin you can hear the neighbor snoring... My upstairs neighbor no joke sounds as if they are holding a bowling tournament and we have become fairly familiar with everyones habits (since the walls are so thin). The units which you pay a premium and on the way high end of Fort Collins you would expect something a little nicer. the carpets in the hallway are always dirty and for some reason the animal fesses has piled up! I wish someone would have left an honest review I would have NEVER rented here if I knew the truth. Hopefully this helps the next tenants choose wisely. I wouldnt waste your money here, you can rent a 3 bedroom house with garage for 1600 right up the street.
In the process with hearing a few claims from tenants in this building. And wow. After reading through the 38 page contract I realized they can’t leave negative reviews about this businesss absolutely taking the piss on its clients. 1500 dollars for the equivalent of a section 8 apartment with matching amenities. Persistent robberies. Poor customer service and out right lies from the company. And I’ve recently learned they plan to expand their business. Please for the love of everything do not rent or do any business with this company.
The walls are extremely thin, literally i was just on the phone and the neighbors called the cops on me, the staff always seem like as if youre bothering them and are never helpful. It was honestly not one of but genuinely the worst place I stayed in
Just did delivery here
I Have lived her for 13 months.
They have some improvements to make.
A zero star place!
