This was a great place to live until a nasty realty company bought it(Four Star Realty). We emailed about our renewal, since we had requested one (on time) and had not heard back. I did not receive an email back. I called them, and they told me they cannot honor our renewal because they are renovating our apartment. We had to find somewhere to go in under a month. It was a huge stressful mess. Luckily we found a really nice place and are glad to be leaving this apartment since this new management seems no good. (The old management company was fantastic) I have chatted with quite a few neighbors who had the same exact thing happen to them (one of which has lived here for over three years) and seen reviews on this page and Four Star’s page saying the same thing. Just nasty.
I’m looking for an apartment for my son. Neither of us lives in CO yet so we can’t see an apartment in person. I spoke with Nallely, the asst mgr, she suggested we arrange a FaceTime call to do a walk through the unit. I called back to discuss it and found she was out of town. Her manager, Francesca, said Nallely had left notes and emails regarding my convo with her and to be sure to speak with me on a prearranged date. To my surprise, I received a phone call from Francesca to arrange a video and Face Time appt for my son. Customer service like this is few and far between. Kudos to Nallely and a big thank you to Francesca for seeing it through.
I paid for application fee and fee to hold the unit and it is not available do to a system issue. Refund will take 3-5 business days and they tried to be pawn me off to another property. Very sketchy businesses. Rude crooks. Also the units are more than what they say on the web page. After telling my friends that are looking for an apartment they are experiencing the same thing for this same management. Unprofessional!!! False advertisement!!! And accepting people’s hard earned money. Had to call 4 times to get ahold of someone they never text me like they said they would.
New property managers have come in and appear to be terminating/not honoring lease renewals for current residents. Talked to neighbors same thing seems to be happening to them too. Allegedly they are renovating, apartment is already listed back on the market, days after we move out for even higher rent. I worked construction for years don’t know what they are remodeling in that short of time, lipstick on a pig as they say! Office management needs some work in customer service as well. Since new management arrived the lawn is hardly mowed, goose poop and dog poop everywhere and dead fish from the pond on property for 2 weeks and it’s still out there and smells horrible. Renters beware!!!
Towed my car despite me being a resident, refused to help or cover any of the cost. Twice called maintenance and had no one show up to fix the leaky toilet. Renter support line has useless people who are no help.
I lived here in 2019. First few months were good. No issues. Then I found mice droppings under the kitchen sink. At first i thought maintenance could get it under control with mouse traps but they just kept coming back worse and worse. When I moved, I found mice droppings behind the stove and in my bedroom closet. I saw mice in the kitchen and the bathroom. Management was responsive but nothing they could do about the mice. Im posting this because I dont want someone else to go through what I went through and I didnt read the reviews before I leased here.
Maintenance is great, if you have an issue they fix it within 24 hours. The fitness center has an abundant amount of equipment which many other complexes dont. The pool is mediocre and pool season seems short.. However, the property manager and overall Summit Management has been one of the WORST to work with during COVID-19. We re signed our lease with Stone Creek because the previous property manager was one of the best. Now that she has left we realize we have just become another apartment number. Very disappointing. Two months after re signing our lease my wife has lost her job and I have reduced hours, we cannot make our rent nor buy out our lease. We did offer to pay an additional one months rent to end our lease the best way we can afford to, but that is not good enough. They rather charge close to $3000 or have us evicted ruining our impeccable renting record during already extremely difficult times.I guess contracts are contracts and we are just an apartment number. For the price you are better off elsewhere.(*their response helps prove that they do not actually help or work with their renters at all. To level and alleviate would be to accept one additional months rent, what we can afford to avoid collections or eviction on our record which will be detrimental for the next 7-10 years for us! It is the same responses, whether it is the property manager, regional manager or director. Spend your 1347 a month at The Seasons at Horsetooth, many more perks!)
I dont know whos in charge of apartment number but they have a sick sense of humor. Can someone put numbers on the door bigger than a quarter inch
I have lived at Stone Creek for over a year now, and just signed another lease with them. Stone Creek is a wonderful, and quite apartment complex that is really close to CSU and a short drive to Old Town. The Spring Creek trail is just a short walk away as well. These apartments are quick to respond to all requests, and are always willing and happy to answer any and all questions. If you have any questions, talk to Patty in the office. She is wonderful, and always willing to help! This has been a great place to live.
Great apartments! Property managers are always kind & approachable. Maintenance personnel are also awesome and very efficient & helpful. Great place to live and close to the university.
Nice recently renovated apartments and friendly office staff. Maintenance is always completed promptly. Great location near CSU and a TransFort bus stop. Disappointed how rent was increased each year that I have lived here. Also not a fan of the the communal washer/dryer set up. Dryers rarely dried my clothes completely and it was annoying having to pay for each load. Having a change machine located in the laundry rooms would have helped make it more convenient.
We currently live in Stone Creek and have had no problems at all. The staff is super friendly and our maintenance requests have been answered within a day or 2 (even super low priority requests). The complex is currently getting upgrades and they have made sure to keep everyone informed during the process. Plus they are super pet friendly!
Great place to live! No loud parties, residents are mostly working families and young adults. The staff here is awesome! Legitimately friendly employees that sincerely care about their role in this little community. They hold little events throughout the year and always communicate via email or phone calls if something is coming up in the complex. Everything is clean and very well maintained, zero complaints here. After coming from an apartment with All Property Services (worst management company ever) this place is heaven in comparison.
I have lived at Stonecreek Apartments for over 4 months now and I absolutely love it here. Katrina and Patty in the office are so wonderful and are quick to help with anything you may need. They are quick to respond to maintenance issues and have many activities for the community to feel more at home.I feel very safe and cozy here and hope to stay for as long as I can! ☺️
I have lived here over a year and I really enjoy it. They take great care of the property - they recently repainted the buildings, put on new shingles, and gave us all new windows. In addition to that, they take good care of the landscaping and during the summer months, they diligently remove leaves and such from the pool. Ive never had issues with maintenance requests - Derrick (the maintenance person) gets the work done fast and is really nice. Katrina and Patty in the office always listen to any concerns I have, as well. In general, Ive lived many places and this is really nice for apartment living. The occasional unneighborly tenant moves into the community, but the complex upholds their rules in that regard. I think thats something youd run into anywhere in a college town.
We have lived here for about 9 months, and love it! The management is great; they know us by name and are super helpful and friendly. Maintenance in super quick with fixing any issues and management always checks in to see if everything in our apartment is working well afterwards. Best apartment gym Ive ever had. Great location... we like living on the Westside of town. Walking/biking distance to CSU but far enough removed that we dont feel too close to campus. Only about a 15 minute (leisurely) bike ride to old town! Highly recommend!
I enjoy living here. It was a little above my budget but its worth it. Its dog friendly. Neighbors are nice. Staff is nice. I wish the laundry and gym were open 24 hours but I understand why not. Overall pretty good place.
The staff / management is really what makes this place great. They are very friendly and professional.Their maintenance staff is very responsive. The gym is nice to have included.
The staff is amazing here! Patty has gone above and beyond for us so many times! If there were any maintenance issues, they were always resolved quickly. I have nothing but great things to say about living here!
Do not choose this place. This place is old apartment there are many hidden cost when you leave this place. I paid $1350 a month + utilities for two beds apartment with one year lease term. I personally don like the carpet so I decided to move to the other apartment but you have to notice them before 60 days of lease term ends otherwise they will extend your lease and make you pay of that extra lease. They never noticed me about the 60 days of notice. They never email me about the notice of re-lease or end-lease, all they said was they post front of the door which I never got. I was pass the due of 14 days more which my lease extended 14 days more. I had to pay (month to month fee, tenant rent, etc) which was $924.43 for 14 days. This is how they manage your money from you guys. If one of you guys planing to move to other apartment please notice them with email before 60 days otherwise your lease will extend by the days you missed. They emails of every single payment of the rent but never email me about the 60 days of notice. They like money. so please be careful.Oh sometimes water might not works without any notice from managers. I had 3 times of experience of that I took a shower with bottles of water and a manger sometimes forgets or never notices of this situation. This place is badbadbad. This was the worst choice i have made in 2016. I throw the almost $2000 to them with my pocket. All they gonna do is charging charging additional cost.
Stonecreek was everything wed hoped for in an apartment complex. We were nervous at first because wed thought there would be a strong college student presence, but the community as a whole has a wide variety of ages. Very respectful and we never had an issue with noise. All of our maintenance issues were taken care of very promptly and with professional courtesy. Our loft apartment was extremely spacious and dog friendly. The only reason we left is because we found work out of town and had to move. Id wholeheartedly recommend living in this complex. After reading some of these negative reviews, I cant really understand where the problems come from - everything was addressed immediately when problems arose. People need to understand that in a giant apartment community, everything cant be addressed the second you complain. The office staff is incredible as well. Aaryck and Kim are both extremely friendly and helped with everything we needed. They were always true to their word and went the extra mile to ensure we were living in great conditions. If youre thinking about renting elsewhere, reconsider! This place is amazing!
The staff are very friendly and the apartment is basic but nice.Laundry here sucks. Every other time there is something broken and they never put a notice on the broken machine even if they know.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. by far the worst apartment complex in fort collins. lived here for three years (unfortunately) and hated it the entire time. maintenance staff is great but the idiots who work in the office are out of their minds. gave notice that we were moving out and followed all procedures and they tried to change the breaking lease guidelines multiple times. now they’re threating us with a $2000+ bill - yeah right, katrina lablanc. lived in the same apartment all three years and surprise, surprise our rent increased drastically every year. SERIOUSLY, DO NOT LIVE HERE. nobody in our building moved out of this hell hole on good terms - evictions, bailing on their stuff & never coming home again, leaving super abruptly and breaking leases. stone creek is the worst.
The people here will make you feel stupid. They will do everything in their power to get their way even if that means calling you a liar. Ive paid an outrageous amount of money to live here and the living conditions are very poor. If you value your health you will not choose this place.
Stayed in G103 from nov 2016-nov 2017. The staff very friendly and responsible answering questions and concerns. I felt the apartments were decent alittle dated but appliances were new. My only complent was hearing mice crowling around the walls during winter months like for two months and thats why i give it 4 stars. I would say a one bedroom is worth no more than $1000 per month. Overall i was satisfied with my stay.
Great place to live

They’re way over priced and won’t give you your security deposit back no matter how perfect you leave it.
