Missy was awesome!!!She absolutely did a great 👍 job on my hair. She worked quickly while still paying very close attention to detail. After my MVP hair wash, she went back over my hair and trimmed off a couple more hairs that stuck out afterwards. I have been going to this location for a little over a year now and have had great service every time. I really like the ease of setting up an appointment time through the app. It takes a quick read through the first time to get the hang of it but after that it’s extremely convenient with the whole Covid situation. In relation to that the facility has always been very clean and the staff takes extra care to ensure this for every customer. My personal experience with stylists there is limited to Sam, she does an incredible job and is very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to product inquiries and recommendations. I will continue to support and spend my money at this local business and appreciate a job well done.

Always Friendly. My sons love the mvp. Sam always cuts my 8yos hair and he was not a fan of hair cuts but he likes to go hear. It gets very crowded very fast so best to book online. This is the best sport clips in the area. Plus star bucks is next door so its like spa day for the fellas.

Each sports clips I have gone to have suited my needs. I get a mid fade blended to 3 inches on top. I have been happy with my hair cut each time going. I like how the stylist listened to me and what I wanted, they make my hair look great. Thanks!

Missy the 20 year old manager was very rude and disrespectful. The two other hair stylist appear to be new and they werent sure how to cut hair. Ryla, the new hair stylist had her boyfriend there who was wearing a mask that was zipped open at the mouth but we were kicked out because my mask fell below my nose a couple times. The boyfriend then followed us outside to harrass and record us. I asked to have the manager Bruce call me who never did. We have been going here for 6 years. They also did not sanitize between customers. Very disappointing. I will be filing a complaintBruce- I had asked that you give me a call yesterday when I spoke with Missy. She pulled out her phone instead and tried shoving it in my face. I explained I was not going to make a scene in front of my child. CA mask law requires mask wearing unless an individual has a medical or mental health condition which I went up to Missy quietly and whispered the condition. A business may not outright refuse service as the only option. You have yet to call me to discuss this. I have lived in this community for a long time and will be sure to spread the word on how we were treated. Please contact me to discuss this matter.

Checked in and was on time and available when they said they would be. Sam recommended a style and did a great job on my haircut. Also was friendly and pleasant my visit. Would definitely recommend her for a haircut.

This was my third time going to this location and each time Ive been very happy. Staff are all friendly, professional, and helpful and do a good job accomplishing what you ask for. Shop is always clean and tidy and they are doing a great job being Covid safe right now. I had Danielle this time and she was awesome!

Very happy with my haircut, Sam was great and enjoyed the conversation. Got the MVP haircut and it’s pretty nice. Gave me a head massage and put hot towels on my face as well as washed my hair. Would definitely say worth the money. Also they prefer you bring your own face mask but they did supply me with one when I forgot to bring my so definitely appreciate that. Overall a great experience

I feel spoiled after leaving a sports clips. I normally dont leaVe reviews, but I was very impressed with Sam. You guys really have a gem in her. She was friendly, personable, courteous, and sweet. Im definatley coming back, not only to ask her out on a date but also to get my next hair cut....and i live in Reno! She left quite an impression. Im not over exaggerating here either. Promote her and give her a raise, cause if i owned a business I would try to steal her from you. Seriously. She is easy to talk to. She is professional ! Perhaps the thing that I liked the most was that even though she wore a mask, I could tell she was smiling thru her eyes! In my opinion, good service requires a smile. Wouldnt you agree.

A great experience on every visit. They have cut my hair almost every different way possible. Be it the time I came in after growing it for 3 years straight, in need of a full chop for my sisters wedding, or the subsequent haircut a few months later where I returned from medium-short to my standard short, or the most frequent iteration, that being the standard short to fresh-cut short; no matter what I need they always go above and beyond. I trust them fully with my hair, which says a lot!

Valerie is the absolute best! Ive had her cut my hair the past 4-5 times, and theres nobody else Id want at this point. Shes friendly, a great conversationalist, she pays attention to detail and always gives great haircuts. My wife even noticed the excellent consistency of my haircuts and mentioned that Valerie does a great job. Give her a raise! Whatever youre paying her, its not enough. ;)

We moved from the bay area a few years ago and we found sports clips by our house and have been coming ever since. We enjoy the invirment and the stylists. I have had Sam cut my hair since we started coming to the American river facility.

Service levels are steadily declining, personnel turn over is steadily increasing right along with wait times. No longer a positive experience. With that said, the owner called me and offered me a complimentary MVP, he is genuinely concerned and very professional. Although appreciative of the offer, I wont take him up on the free MVP, Ill come back in as a paying client and am hopeful that the issues have been addressed.

I cant express how much I enjoy getting my hair cut at sports clips. Ive been a customer for five years at a number of locations and must say the Orangevale Folsom location has been by far the best. A good barber shop is hard to find these days. There is a Sports Clips that is a couple of doors down from the Starbucks I go to. I am not a person to go to a fancy hair salon and spend $40 bucks for a haircut so, I thought I would give it a try. I met Valerie. I have gone back to her now for over a year now. The quality if the cut have decreased and the experience I had this morning wasnt pleasant due to the efforts of the employees. Will be looking for a new place to get haircuts.

Showed up about 10 min before they closed. Girl inside saw me pull up and ran for the door to lock it. Was told they run off the time on their computer. Next day, when i returned to get a cut, i checked the time printed on the receipt against time on my cell phone. They matched, the girl lied, and i will never go back.
