Nice place to live. The ladies who work at the front office are very kind and quick to help. Maintenance takes a little while but thats ok. Only negative is not everybody cleans up their trash or after their dogs.

RENTERS BEWARE!!My little sister moved into her first apartment here. When she moved in, the shower would not work. She has called maintenance and spoken to the people at the office. Two weeks into living there and having an operational shower isnt emergency management because she has running water. They will let the phone ring and will ignore her calls at the office. Extremely unprofessional. Absolutely absurd that this complex allowed her to move in without a functioning shower.Additionally, for a two bedroom apartment with outdated appliances, carpet, and a relatively small space, rent is over $1000 a month. The apartment did not seemed to be cleaned in between the previous tenant and my sister, either. To top it all off, the cabinet under the kitchen sink is just a gaping hole. There isnt even a piece of plywood, just the floor.If you can avoid this complex, do so. There are other places in the Florence area that it will actually be worth it to spend $1000 a month but this place is not it. Avoid this place like the plague if you can. Honestly, should be your very last resort.

My family and I have been living here for about a year, and we love it. Our apartment is big and fairly quiet. Maintenance has been great and they respond quickly. There’s a playground and really nice walking paths. It feels like home.

I had an amazing tour with a beautiful young lady today if I remember correctly her name was Teany. she was very informative about the pricing and what living here would be like. She had an answer to almost every question I had and the best part was that the homes are big enough for me and my little family to move around comfortably I recommend every one to live here they are beautiful and spacious and well kept up on the maintenance from the inside to the outside of the buildings .. I look forward to moving in very soon

The office staff was super nice and easy to work with. From the day I called to the application process and walk through. The ladies in the office were professional but fun. The remodels are very nice and I would recommend my friends and family here as well.

Walnut Creek Apts is a great family oriented place to live. The apartments are very spacious and clean. Neighbors are very polite and it is a quiet community. Many families live here. Taylor and Teanna who work in the rental office are great people they were very helpful and kind. One or two times when I needed maintenance done to fix something in my apt they fixed it immediately. I was very impressed with Walnut Creek Apts and would not hesitate to live there again or recommend it to family and friends.

I’ve been living here for almost 2 years at Walnut Creek. And we don’t have laundry connections which I understand because the buildings are quiet old but everything else is amazing. The reason I bring up the laundry is cuz I was going to go to another apartment. And we looked and looked and I noticed a lot of the places are really close together or on the road and there’s no place like Walnut Creek. We got paths here, walk ways, peace and quiet, the apartment buildings are spaced and there’s no other place like this here.Also the maintenance staff are awesome. They always come and help and do a great job. The girls in the office are awesome and I appreciate their hard work so we can all have a good place. Thanks for making my home awesome!! I recommend coming here to live! It’s really nice!

I lived here for 3 years and it was a good experience. The maintenance was always quick, the leasing agents are wonderful to work with and very nice. They have regular sweeps for exterminators as a precautionary measure. Over all a good place to live right in the middle of florence and erlanger

Walnut Creek is definitely a place you can call home. There are no through streets that go through, so the traffic is minimal. The pool is great, and the nice landscaping is very regularly kept up, and looking sharp! Any maintenance problems that I have had over the last decade, are promptly addressed by professional and nice maintenance personnel that are competent, and get the job done. It is quiet, aesthetic, and clean.

Weve been living here since April, Ive had no problems here! I love Walnut creek. And I think its the best choice I made to move into. You cant find much better space or wonderful staff. They run this place well.

Roach infested. Horrible cleaning staff: even after they had to come back to do missed items that should have been done before move in, they still missed things. Maintenance is lacking. So many issues upon my move in. Its a shame because its a cute apartment in a good location but this place needs some major help.

I lived in these apartments WAAAAY back in 1997 when my kids were little (7404). We STILL talk about how much we loved it there!! Was such close living to everything. I sure miss the summer in the pool....and the great people in our building.

I love walnut creek because when I have any issues with rent or any maintenance issues they are very attentive to any issues. The buildings are cleaned every weeks and that is great service. The two bedrooms are really spacious and the parking is good. Grounds are always looking nice and Teany in the office is very friendly to us. Customer service is very very good.

So the website SPECIFICALLY said that a two bedroom apartment would be $757-$850. I go for a viewing. The outside of the apartments were leaking. They couldnt give me a tour of an actual apartment due to High Prelease rates. THEN, gave me a paper saying rent for the SAME APARTMENT was $930 in rent. So, I wasted my time, gas and research. Shady place man, Shady place.

I currently live here I know that they are increasing the cost of rent, they bother a lot every certain time they come to fumigate and this does not work does not eliminate anything, laundry is disgusting. for the service they give you and what you pay is not worth it.

I have lived here since March. Its close to my sons school. The maintenance staff is amazing. They always fix any problems I have had in a timely fashion they are pilots and courteous. The office staff is polite and kind and very personable. I enjoy my apartment very much its cozy and homely and Im just minutes from everything in Florence. Love it.

I have lived here since August and am very satisfied with my apartment. It was very clean upon move in and I really like the extra bathroom off of the master. The building and grounds are well kept and offer a lot of amenities for those with children and pets. The staff has been very friendly and helpful with any issue that may arise. I am looking forward to renewing my lease for 2017-2018.

I have been living here for almost 2 years now, the place is nice and fair for the price I pay. I have never experienced issues with customer service, whenever I have needed a repair to my apartment I just call the office and they get it resolved within 24 hours most of the times. Management does a good job maintaining the common areas and landscape neat. The maintenance crew is friendly and efficient.

Ive lived here since Sept. 2018 and I regret ever moving in. Besides the constant screaming, fighting, and animal noises I hear every day when I home the staff isnt quick to be helpful. It took me reaching out to corporate 2-3 times to get any help with nothing in result. I pay almost 800$ for a not so spacious apartment. They say they offer upgraded units but all that means is including a dishwasher that will mostly likely be broken and non white cabinets. CANNOT WAIT TO MOVE

Staffs were fine, i applied at 2nd floor but when i move in they placed me at basement and told me that was the last available(I came to Florence for work and my home is too far away from this place, so i cant reject it. ). For pest control issue NEVER FOUND ONE WORST THAN THIS, having fleas issue for 4 months, and never got fixed!!(Strange cats are around 6745) if you like fleas bites/stick on your feet when you wake up, then WELCOME. Finally move out last month. :) Good Luck

The Manager, Belinda is very professional, smart, and fair. I have lived at Walnut Creek Apartments for 18 years. She has been the best Manager during that time. She is easy to talk to and is very efficient. Any minor repairs that need to be done in apartment are done quickly. The 3 repairmen they have now and way above the ones that worked here before Monarch bought the property. The Manager before her (before Monarch) was horrible, rude and just downright nasty. I enjoy my apartment very much and think that Walnut Creek Apartments are a great place to live.

This summer when I had a problem with my air conditioner the maintenance man Brian not only fixed my problem but he also offered a solution to another issue I have had for the last several years. Thanks to Brian I was able to really enjoy my balcony this year!

Please be cautious with this apartment community.My son rented a unit with his caregiver as hes delayed and it has cost us a lot of unnecessary expense.If you pay your rent with a money order, be certain to keep a copy so it can be tracked. Management has misplaced the rent payments, acknowledged that they found it and then lost it again. Be sure to get everything in writing and document, document, document. Keep records of everything paid even if they say they received it, get a written receipt.If you discuss anything with maintenance, management, anyone - get something in writing. Verbal agreement is not sufficient with these people.They seem to target low income people with limited resources and capacity and take advantage of them. Bottom line: rent at your own risk and keep EVERYTHING.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Buildings are old. Plumbing is terrible. Catch a draft halfway across the room from the sliding glass doors. Management will lie to your face about their bug problem. Said they didnt have one but thats obviously not true. When we moved in there were dead bugs along the edges of the carpet. So thats obviously a lie. They spayed and sprayed and sprayed, still bugs. I flipped out when I made dinner, turned to pour drinks, turn back around, and there is a cockroach on one of the plates. When i was finally lucky enough to mot out, they stole my while deposit, even though we were one of the cleanest people they had. Even scrubbed the whole apartment when I left. Go somewhere else, even if you have to pay more

Ive been here for a few months now so far its great the neighborhood is quiet. Prices compaired to others in the area is almost unmatched plenty of parking which blows my last place out of the water so far its been nothing but great. I look forward to another couple of years.

They have never maintained the property and struggle with massive water problems and attitude issues. They even spelled my name wrong.REPLY: For starters, you could have fixed the water leaks in both bedrooms and the bathroom wall before now. It was reported over 2 years ago with prior management and reported again to be told, I cant fix that. Id need a backhoe to dig to get the pipe. Furthermore, no new carpet, no paint, and no general upkeep in 24 years is terrible. Pictures speak for themselves. Maintenance has seen all of these and never fixed them stating, corporate wouldnt approve the repairs.

The office is always quick to put out a work order for any issue we may have, and the times Ive met with the maintenance crew theyve been personable and polite, making conversation and giving me tips to avoid further issues.

Fleas everywhere, carpet floods and trying to make us pay 700 for a 1 br. I cant even turn on a light without having it short cicuit. This place is a joke. Also had something of ours go missing and weve literally looked EVERYWHERE and the only people who have access to the apartment is maintenance. So ya definitely a horrible place to live.

I had lived here for 2 months, maintance was slower then anything ive ever seen before. the apartments were newly renovated but all they did was put new carpet in it. not new enough for me. slow with everything and you cant even have hamsters, gerbils, or small childrens pets...hmm sketchy

I can already tell this place is a joke. $40 application fee is what it says online. Tried to charge $60 at the end. $175 admin fee, and it says $63 flat fee for most utilities But then for the net rent the same utilities it says Is $63 adds up to $93.

Youre lucky if your apartment doesnt flood and your rent increases the longer you stay

Monarch Investment and Management Group has the worst customer service & maintenance in property management that I have ever experienced. Look at Village Green or NAP communities in NKY or Cincinnati before you apply at a Monarch community in the Cinci-metro area.

I moved into a apartment that had terrible carpet to where there was a huge stain in a corner that smelled like pee and took me hours to clean up not them. they didnt paint the walls because they still had holes in the walls from previous renters. Also my door looked like it has been kicked in and the had no motivation to help me fix it at all. They then told me that they didnt have enough time to fix it but made me move in earlier than I was supposed too. It looked like they just clean the junk out of the apartment and wipe off some stuff. They then try to get you to put a good review on this site l in order to get rent off for one month to make them look good when this place is awful. They wont take check or money orders anymore which means u have to pay 20$ extra on ur rent for a convenience fee through rent cafe. There staff is rude and if u put in a work order they wont ever get back to you. Its just a terrible place dont come here.

I just recently moved in here... and iam already having problems... I have so many holes in my apparment.. and I dont know what they fixed before i moved in.. but it looks like nothing is has been fixed.. I have roaches in the appartment and they spray the roaches but nothing is working because is not going away. on top of that I have rat in the appartment. there is hole that is coming through it and is been eating my potatoes and i ve told them so many times. and no one has came to fix it. iam getting frustrated.. I CANT WAIT TILL MY LEASE ENDS. !!! i recommend no one to this appartment not even to my worst enemy...!!!

Samantha is very rude when talking to her, she doesnt let you voice your concerns before interrupting you. I moved out on 13th of May, 2016, I turned my key in on the 16th, I call office on 21st, they still havent looked at apt., so the process can start so I can get my security deposit back, she tells me that she is behind on paperwork for tenants to get their deposit back. I dont know who to call about this issue, she told me the corporate office is in Columbus, no number or anything, I cleaned the apt and took pictures, so I have proof that apt was the same as I moved in. I need info about my security deposit, please email me a number so I can get the info I need

Iv been nothing but ontime with my rent and all my bills as far as i know i have never had anyone complain about me or my girlfrend or my dog but starting last week they started to redo all of the parking lots witch is fantastic untill today when i get up to go and get my truck it was gone so i went to the off and they told me it was my falt that it was towd they told me that they had put flyers on the main doors and everyons personal apartment doors wich they did for the first two lots but not for where i had my truck parked alomg with many other people i had no idea that my truck was gone until 5pm and the place that towed it was in walton and 35 min from here and they closed at 530 but thanks to them they understood the situation and stayed open untill I got there to get my truck. But for those of you who think its still my falt and should have moved my truck the guys who have been doing the towing told me that one they only had about 6 the day befor and they had 25 to 40 for today and two he said that every one who had been there Already said the exact same thing i told them. So im basically SOL beacuse i wasnt informed of what they were doing. And from the other reviews iv seen im not the first person to have problems with them so i dont recemend anyone moveing here.

Weve lived here for about 6 months and we have seen roaches the entire time . The ladies in the office are pretty cool but the buildings need to be exterminated. They tell you to call if you see anything but this tactic wont work if the building needs to be exterminated!

Me and my husband and 2 Grandkids enjoy living here!! Weve enjoyed the 2 nice swimming pools and their park over this past summer! Weve never had any problems here. One day I broke my key off in the door and we called maintenance and they was there in 5 mins and fixed within 5 mins at no charge! This place is horrible my apartment got robbed and nothing was done about it other than telling me I had to pay them 1500 to get out the un safe apartment amd on topOf that give them a 60’days notice

They shot my cat because it was outside i was furious and they said it was for a good reason and then they also went in my home while i was at work and stole some stuff i called the police and they arrested one of the maintenance menwho still works there.

Really nice people but the pest I. This place are getting ridiculous first roaches and now a rat Im glad Im out of here next month

I really recommend it 100% since both the place is very quiet, the excellent maintenance did not complain any little thing that I have notifico and quickly arrange, the rent is very considerable because the apartments are spacious (comfortable) and very nice. ..the office staff is very kind and considerable I give a 100% Walnut Creek apartments
