The entry process had hiccups at no fault of the complex, they helped us through the hiccups and were quite understanding. I love the view of the lake from my balcony.

The Columns of Wetherington is a fabulous place to live. The office staff are great to work with and the maintenance are right on at fixing anything. The noise levels are almost none. My brother is handicapped and lives with me, he can’t stand a lot of noise due to being blind, his hearing is very sensitive. Great place to call home.

I dont even know how to start this review. If I start saying everything wrong with this place, I will never finish my review. One of the multiple things going with the management and maintenance of this complex is that have been waiting for a year to get a roofing/Ceiling Leak in my sons bedroom for a year now. Theres even a hole in the ceiling where the water is coming from!!!!I was even told that my contractor husband could fix that, because that was NOT an emergency. Its been a year!!! I have called maintenance, club house, management and corporate and I am still waiting for someone to help me! This is NOT luxury homes but a place in hell.

Maintenance takes more than 4 months to fix a problem, very dirty, trash is always full and bad smell.

We have just renewed for another year i we had nothing but good experience here its quite clean well taken care if Abby in the front office takes care of you needs as quickly as possible the layouts of the units or set up for convenience for your comfort just remember when you looking for a place to call home this is it you will feel right at home here

I have absolutely loved moving in here. Whitney, Abbey, Brittany, and the rest of the staff made my move-in a breeze and have been more than quick to respond to questions or solve problems. Maintenance requests are taken care of within 24 hours and Anthony is very good at his job plus professional and friendly. The property is beautiful. I love my view of the lake. This is a wonderful community for my children and I to live and I feel so blessed to be here. I have recommended this property to several people and will continue to do so. My only complaint is that we have to pay $52 for cable and dont have a choice whether we do so or not. As a single mom I could use that $52 for many other things and we do not even use cable. Id really like to see that go away, but otherwise completely happy.

We have lived here for a year and a half and for the most part have enjoyed it Under old management we had several issues that took many months to resolve and still have a few minor problems. Since Whitney took over management I am confident that the community will be cleaned up and repairs will be made that have been reported. It’s always nice to go into the office knowing she is there and willing to help you in any way she can.

I have been in this community for around 4 years. I seldom write reviews but felt it is important to write one for this. Whenever a new resident moves in, they setup an attractive rent rate. After that, every time you renew lease the rent raises are pretty high compared to other communities. More over I am forced to pay for cable which we never use and so many other fees. Gym and other facilities are very disappointing. Parking is at its worst. Maintenance takes forever. The only reason I have to stick with this apartment is because of school district. I will personally never recommend this community to anyone.

The apartments are in a great location and extremely spacious! Rent isnt outrageous for what you are getting. Also, Whitney the community manager is incredible and really tries to help out in any way she can! I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for an apartment.

My family and I love it here! The apartment is an amazing size and well taken care of. Maintenance has been fast and more then accommodating when it was not expected. The pilot was out on my water heater when I moved in and it was quickly determined that I needed a new one. Space heaters were supplied and the heater was replaced the next day. I was shocked because I’ve lived in my fair share of places and we’ve never been treated so kindly. The office staff have been so wonderful and welcoming which is refreshing compared to what I’m used to from apartment complexes. The entire complex is well maintained, super pet friendly, kid friendly, and overall the tenants that I’ve gotten to meet have been really nice (and accepting of my crazy kids!)The close proximity to the elementary school, mall, grocery stores, and the highway make this a great centrally located place to live. There’s wonderful parks close by, nice sidewalks for walking, and a catch and release pond within the complex.

Highly underwhelmed with the experience I just received. Both representatives on the phone were rude and unaccommodating. It’s no wonder there’s a 3 star review for this community. Maybe you’d have a 5 star review if you had better customer service towards your clients.

Whitney, the leasing agent was so friendly and helpful for us. She made this this easiest transition for our family. Our apartment is beautiful and the best place for us to live while our new house is being built. I would highly recommend Columns on Wetherington to anyone looking for luxury apartments.

Have lived here almost 2 years, Whitney ( property manager) is excellent, she is quick to resolve any issues and getting them done on a timely manner, she is extremely kind, and very knowledgeable. This is a fairly quiet community, well maintained.

I love the people in the office! I know for a fact that they go over & beyond what their jobs call for. Whether they end staying until 9 pm or take a late lunch, it doesnt matter because I know Patty will get the job done. She has been so wonderful to work with & will be missed dearly. I only hope whomever replaces the management will be as awesome as Patty & her staff has been.

I would HIGHLY recommend this apartment community as not only was property itself very beautiful and well kept, but the staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Whitney was super sweet and went out of her way to make sure our needs were met. Relocating to a new area has been a crazy and stressful process and with her help she definitely put my thoughts at ease. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for apartments in this area. Oh and the lake views are awesome as well :)

I just moved into this complex bc my other apartment building caught fire and was condemned. I came here hoping for a better experience and have been devastated since day 1.I wasnt permitted to tour my unit until the day I was expected to sign my lease. When we viewed the apartment we noticed a number of issues. The screens in nearly every window were torn, the apartment was visibly filthy, it had not been cleaned prior to the exit of the previous tenant and/or maintenance. I told the employee that we toured with the reason for our move, due the fire, and there wasnt even a smoke detector in the master bedroom, just wires hanging from the ceiling.When I asked the employee we toured with if we could get a smoke detector from them to install immediately (bc of course this place only has one maintenance person which is completely irresponsible of the management team for a complex this big, btw.) the employee informed me that she could not even accommodate such a simple request until I turned in my move in check list, which I had told her repeatedly that I would be hanging onto through the weekend, specifically because I anticipated uncovering several additional issues, which I did.Because of my desperate need to find a new home I paid my full months deposit and admin fees (almost $3000 total to move into this place) and moved in anyway, hopeful that there were just a few small issues that would soon be addressed.After spending just our first night in our new unit we noticed a million more things that were wrong. The thermostat was ancient, we could hardly turn the heat up and down and it was snowing outside. The carpet, that we were told was brand new upon move in, absolutely reeked of animal urine (and I was expected to move myself and my own animals into this unit), and I couldnt even take a shower in the master bathroom because the faucet was so rusted I couldnt even pull the knob up and down.I am so deeply saddened and disappointed by this whole experience. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. One star because zero is not an option.

This place is under new management since August and I have no major complaints. They respond to service requests quickly and Dan in the office is very professional and answers questions quickly. The neighborhood is beautiful and there are nice walking paths everywhere.

This is a terrible place. If you have any other option at all, including a hotel, take it. Do not move into this nightmare. The leasing manager is either a pathological liar, or will say anything to fill a vacancy. Her solution to our issues with the nightmare tenant below us was to work it out yourselves. She actually said that she prefers not to get involved, which seems like it should be part of her job. She will promise that the units are quiet, but the sheer volume of noise coming through the walls, ceilings and floors indicates that there is minimal soundproofing at best. There are many hidden or unexplained charges. For example, the sewer charges are not based on usage, and they hit you for a flat amount regardless of how much you actually use. They charge you $52 per month for cable, even if you cancel it or do not use it. They charge for pest control, and our apartment was still infested with ants. There is almost no parking, and the creepy maintenance staff appear more like stalkers than employees. This place was so bad that we actually paid over $2100 just to break the lease and get away from there.

Dont come here! U get charged for double on your spectrum bill. U pay these crooks 50 bucks then if u upgrade to the next package.... U pay the price of the package.... Then u pay Columns 50 buck! 🤷‍♂️ You pay for pest control.... But they NEVER come around to treat your apartment.

Dont rent here this complex is a joke. We have been here for about 3 months now, and regret every second of it. Getting maintenance to do anything would be a miracle. If you get a package delivered it goes to the office, because the numbering on the units is so confusing the delivery guys cant find anything. Once your package is delivered to the office, they WILL lose it. the are 3 for 3 on my packages. Once I called corporate though they mysteriously showed up. The utilities go through a company that will tack on a service fee for anything, and everything they can. Add $200/month to your rent for that bill. The office staff are clueless, and act like you are bothering them if you have an issue, or a question. It is so bad, they actually ask you to leave good reviews for the complex, because most reviews are negative. Stay away from this place. Go get a nice apartment at the Grands or other luxury apartments.

Apartment is decent size but the cleaning done before we moved in was minimal. There was pet hair everywhere and I have allergies! Pool hours posted that they close at 10. Been kicked out at 9. Gates to pool are locked during pool hours though they are labeled as exits. Im pretty sure that is against fire code.

We had numerous maintenance items that took forever to get fixed including our a/c in the middle of summer. They messed up our lease which was a giant fiasco. We moved in and were missing the front of our drawers, cabinets were missing knobs, the apartment obviously wasnt cleaned. They charge everyone a carpet cleaning fee when you move out even if it isnt dirty. New management came in and it appeared to be getting better but it went right back to being terrible. Stay away!

I can hear everything above and beside me- its awful!!We now have some temp people in the office- and they dont have a damn clue!Paid rent on time- they charged me a $100 fee... that is 10% charge- which is just crazy!Especially when it was paid on timeThey entered my home about a month ago to work on the fire alarm - it is still hanging out of the wall.Site says they have basketball court- thats a lieThe fitness center- only 1 piece of equipment worksBusiness center- only allowed to use when office is openCant ever reach anyone in the officeOffice is always closed or locked during business hours- wait foreverThey always leave before 6!!So sick of this place-And dont get me started on the parking-My neighbor parks sideways so its hard for me to get in and out of the tiny garage-They are losers too!I have been here for almost 3 months and I am happier than I have ever been....in an apartment building. I am also embarrassed by the other comments made by assumed mature adults.The office has always been very helpful with packages! I will be the first to say. Dont rent from here they have fraudulent behavior! I rented an apartment from them approximately four years ago. Today I found out they put a $1300 collection on my credit report. When I contacted them to find out what the issue is no one can tell me why and I cant even talk to someone who can look at the account.

Not good at all! This place is a joke beyond imagination! Not only are they incompetent at explaining a bill, trying to get in touch with someone with any authority is next to impossible. The staff is arrogant and rude at best.

Inside is beautiful but very cheap. Parking is the most insane setup Ive ever seen. Dont plan on having anyone come over!

This is the poorest run facility Ive lived. Negotiated a contract for 4 month lease and even with on the spot notification direct to the property manager herself that the lease ended on a specific date and leave notification given they did not document this internally. 3 months later Im fighting with them and debt collector as they try to claim I owe them since I did not notify them of my end of lease date, when I clearly did this with the property manager. Avoid this apartment complex. Outside of this issue the maintenance team is slow to respond to any needs (plumbing and water issues). Bugs are bad too!

My husband and me lived in a few apartment complexes over the last 6 years. We can say that Columns at Wetherington was the best place to live.When we were looking for apartment Community Manager Dan Wirth was very patient and polite and he did really everything he could to provide all the information we needed. His encouraging and trustful approach motivated us to rent apartment in Columns. He helped us to find the apartment that perfectly meets our needs so the apartment we chose was the best we have ever lived in.While we were living at Columns both Management and Maintenance Service were very responsive. Although we didnt have any significant issue with our apartment, whenever we had some request Management and Maintenance Service reacted promptly and solved the issue very efficiently.The only reason we left our apartment in Columns was that we bought our own home. And now we can say that Columns at Wetherington is the second best place to live. Nice location and very friendly people.

I must say that I lived in columns 6 years ago for 4 years and it was amazing. The employees in the officer worked for a different company but often switched companies through the 4 years my family lived there. However I move back into columns tomorrow actually and I have showed up a total of 7 times and the doors were locked during office hours.. with trying to move and packing its hard to find time to wait around for them. Today the lady was gone for a full hour and 20 minutes after 3 (which is way after lunch hours) Every time I called they didnt returned my calls except for one time. Most of the time I couldnt even leave a voice mail because their box was full. I must say I was disappointed with the service but I do know everyone in the office is being replaced within the next couple weeks because of complaints. So there is hope lol. Wonderful community with wonderful neighbors though!

We were house hunting in the area for awhile. We looked at Columns and we decided it wasnt a good fit for us. Ever since, Columns will not stop calling and emailing me! I get numerous calls and emails a day. I blocked the number on my phone, and they have begun calling me from a different phone number!
