Where’s the Maytag Repairman? The prices are reasonable; good mix of machine sizes, both washers and dryers. But there were many machines “out of order” which made the wait longer for a washing machine especially. You must purchase a “Cyberwash cash card” ($2.00), presumably because the business doesn’t want to handle quarters. No coins, credit/debit cards, or cash can be used at the machines.
The premises was clean. The owner so very nice and helpful. The price was very reasonable. There was only one or two machines not working, so there was plenty of machines available. Highly recommend for your laundering needs!
Pay with a laundry card - so much easier than a million quarters. BIG machines and big dryers. Clean, and staff is very helpful.
Absolutely trash. Every other machine has an out of order or ask attend for help with for sign in them, the dryers dont dry cloths anymore, you can rarely find the person working behind the counter is a complete dive. Save yourself time, money and energy and go any else. The only good thing i could say is its in a good location and its clean..... and thats pushing it.
Good machines and very clean facility but I wont return. You have to get a payment card instead of just inserting coins into the machine. The extra step is unnecessary IMO.
Very clean and mostly affordable. Probably the best laundromat in Flagstaff. Really unhappy that so many of the machines have been out of order for far to long. Get there early because people come with sooo much laundry and take up all of the machines.
Margaret and the other ladies there are pretty fantastic helping me with any questions quick with zero hesitation! That’s pretty Refreshing for a Laundromat 🙌🙌🙌
Friendly and competent staff. 4/5 stars for about half of the machines being down.
Attendant was so helpful. Very reasonable prices.
We always do our laundry here and its always clean and comfortable although it can get quite crowded sometimes so get there early we came in the middle of the day once and we could hardly even get a dryer
Most of the machines I needed to use today were out of order. The ones thats werent, still didnt work very well. Not even their payment machine was working right. With the number of people trying to wash their clothes here, I should think the owner would make darned sure their facilities were working properly.
Very clean, owner on premises (and very helpful). Machines work well and are well maintained. Prices were good too!
This is a great Laundromat. Reasonable price washers and dryers. Dont have to deal with quarters ☺️
This used to be my favorite laundromat but they have not been keeping enough machines in working order, their customer service has declined, and (be warned) they take their 7:00 pm last call VERY SERIOUSLY!On my last visit, there were over 6 washers “out of order” while people waited for working machines.
I accidentally purchased a card (first time at a non–coin-op laundromat), and they totally helped me out
My favorite laundromat! Bright, roomy, clean and lots of machines up and running. I love that it uses a cash card so I dont have to get quarters! Even later in the day when the dryers get full it isnt bad.
I went there for literally one load and I had to pay two dollars for a card, then there was a minimum of 10.00 to add on to card to do laundry. No one was there to help me so I just left. I already wasted two bucks and wasnt about to spend 12 dollars total on one load. Nice enough place but just go back to using quarters like a normal laundry.
Clean, friendly staff, prices seem ok. What I dont like, too many machines broke down, washers dont spin enough water out of clothes they seem really really wet when removing them. Dryers take way to long to dry clothes..
The facilities are clean, staff is friendly and nice. Just be noted, that the machines take cards, just not credit cards. You have to preload a card w/ money to use in the machines.
Surprisingly enough I don’t think I’ve ever seen a customer here not wearing a mask properly. The same, however, cannot be said for the male owner (?) and maintenance guy. They were walking through without them on today and one of them was coughing all over the place. Also, you have to buy a $2 card to put money on to then do laundry. And if you use a credit/debit card the minimum you can put on at a time is $10.
Very helpful gals. Didnt need to buy a card.
Deceptive card value system. You have to pay for a plastic card before theyll take your deposit. I over-loaded my card by mistake, just passing through for a couple washes on the road, and the owner man wouldnt give me my whole deposit back and I had to wait. Skeevy. And a fractional amount of the dryers were not working, people waiting to dry.
I have been going to the Maytag laundry mat every Friday for a couple of months now. Its always clean nice to go to. The washers and dryers are wonderful. The attendant in Friday is Merilee White. If shes not busy helping a customer.or doing drop off laundry she is a cleaning and sanitizing. I have been there in other days but they arent anywhere near as good as Marilee.
Its nice and clean. Well you are paying for it. Highway Robbery. Costs $2 for the card. Then you add money to the card, and they also get you in the Dryer as you have to pay full $2.25 to dry your clothes. Even if it only takes 50 to 75 cents at other places, it does not matter. So the staff is nice..I give 5 stars there.
There are two men who work here that never wear masks. The machines are nice & the prices are fair, but every time I come in those men are working and one of them is CONSTANTLY coughing and not covering his mouth.
Best place to get your laundry done! The owner is super helpful and its all set up nice and easy. Lots of stores around the place to shop while you wait. Clean and friendly! Also they will do it for you if you need it.
Terrible! My first time here... things run by purchasing a card for $8 and then adding money to start washer and dryers . I told the lady I needed to wash clothes ... she didn’t explain how it was ... she charged me $2@ for $12 worth of wash and the dryers she started ... I told her my clothes were still wet .. she never would come restart my prepaid dryer so I had to give someone $5 to start my $1 worth of dryer so I could get hone . She extender 40 minutes of wait on her wash and dry tube . She did it so rudely . I will ask no one to give this place service am. Especially if your a one time deal
Hands down, the best laundry in town, you dont even need cash or coins here.
I walked in one minute after last wash and this man told me very rudely that they stopped at 7:00pm. He’s always rude
Friendly and great customer service. Machines worked great.
CONTACT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL TO PUT REGULATIONS ON SERVICES LIKE THIS. I dropped off about 70 lbs of clothes for the wash, dry and fold service at 10 am. Asked when they would be finished, I was told just after noon. Gave me a timeline of 12-3, but they would call. Around 1:45, I stopped by to see how close to finished they were. I saw the clothes in two carts, wet. She said she was very busy and just got finished folding a bunch of curtains. She was waiting on dryers because she shares them with the customers. I asked about how much longer. She said a few hours. This would put us at least an hour beyond the quoted time. We live a little more than an hour away and had to get back to town. I said we would need to take the clothes. Not an apology, an alternate solution, a partial refund, nothing. We will never return and suggest you to take your business elsewhere. They are not reliable, have poor customer service and are expensive. Find a more reputable company for your laundry service.
This was a great place to get my laundry done. I was visiting the local camp sites throughout the National Park lands. The woman working was extremely friendly and helpful. The machines require a user card however I had none as passing through. The attendant used her guest card to start wash after I paid at desk. I had three weeks of laundry and used the largest of both wash and dry. The dry service was included in my charge. Total cost was $8.... Another up side Walmart next door to stock up on provisions, and restraints sharing same plaza. I was traveling in a large Class A RV.
Great laundromat... it is spotless and the machines are all in perfect working order and all show the amount of time. You put money on a card and swipe the card so there is no need to deal with coins The attendants are most helpful! If you must go to a laundromat this is the one I would recommend.
If youre on the road, in the area and need a solid spot to wash some dirties real quick-come here
Ive been coming here for a long time Marylyn ( I hope I spelled her name right Im really bad on names) is the best she is always helping someone besides doing others laundry. She is always happy and very friendly, everytime I come in she calls me by my name shes an asset to this place.
Really clean. Friendly staff. Highly recommend
By far the best laundry we had encountered so far.. Theres this lady who explained everything we need to do. Shes super accommodative and made us feel at home. Excellent service and wud definitely come back if we ever stop by Flagstaff, AZ. Well done and keep up with yr excellent service.
I absolutely hate their card system. You have to use their card, add your own money to it - and if you over-estimate how much you will need, there are no refunds! On the positive side, the machines are great! They are fast and do a great job.It would be nice to have room to sit comfortably and be on the computer while you wait...
👎
Good place to do laundry. Not expensive at all & all their washers r double loaders. Although there r triple loaders too. But could really use more dryers. They were all taken, so after clothes washed had to wait until some dryers opened up.
Machines are nice but many are frequently down. The last two times I was here there was a laundry-train that caused a giant back up on the dryers. 2-3 women, who all seemed to be together were using 75% of the dryer space. I was told by another customer this is not an unusual occurance. All of the folding space was also taken by their many large loads of laundry. Good on-site management would keep an eye of this and make sure that there is enough time for EVERYONE. Next time I’ll be going elsewhere in Flag.
Ive been using this laundromat for 2 years they keep it clean. Definitely suggest to go first thing in the morning nothing worse than standing around with baskets of wet clothes waiting for a dryer with dryers full of clothes by the employees. I know they have a job to do too but looks like the customers would get first dibs on a washer. Also the fact that the employees park right at the front door instead of leaving this parking places for customers is very rude like I said Ive watched this for 2 years and unfortunately there arent a lot of clean laundry mats in Flagstaff leaving me with no choice but to stay where I was at. If Im posting for my opinion of the laundromat the washers and dryers work excellent the employees not so much
We took a large hand-made quilt which required special handling. The manager and attendant were very helpful and friendly. They walked us through the whole process and made sure we were satisfied. Also, the laundromat was spotless!
The facility is clean the employees are nice great place!
Came here for the first time to do laundry. Had no idea how things worked. The lady in the front was super sweet and she helped me all the way. I kept asking questions and she was always willing to answer with a smile. She worked hard. Doing people laundry and cleaning the trash cans. Highly recommended place for doing your laundry. The prices are sooooo gooooood too. Not expensive at all.
If its your first time, ask the attendant to help you through the following unbelievably complicated procedures:1. Card purchase2. Card loading3. Card registration (free $1 credit!)3. Washer selection and operation4. Dryer selection and operationSome dryers dont work and are not marked. You need to ask.NO COINS. The card machine accepts paper money or credit/debit cards.I wont mention my Electrical Engineering major and Mechanical Engineering minor, because they were worthless in the quest to manage the technological barriers to clean laundry. Word of the day: Confounding. The good news is that the attendant is awesome and it is possible for anyone to walk in with dirty laundry and leave with clean, dry clothes.
Not your typical laundromat. First visit while passing through Flagstaff. We thought it was a standard coin-op, but no. It uses a card that you can purchase at the kiosk or a guest card from the staff that you preload.Very helpfull and friendly employee (I wish I got her name) walked us through the process and even offered to switch our laundry to the dryer when the wash was finished. The store and machines are clean. A LOT of out of order dryers. Would go again if ever in the area again
Always clean always staffed on board
Very clean n cheap place to do your laundry.
Update 6/12: Apparently the employees here, and most of the customers, see the Flagstaff and Coconino county mask ordinance for public places as something they can just ignore. As soon as I use up the rest of the money on my card I will probably not be back here.Good quality machines and very clean but the prices are high and they want you to use a card that is only good here and the odd prices of the machines make sure there is always a little money left on the card.
Such a nice clean very new looking laundry mat!!! The wonderful lady working was very helpful. If your looking for a local mat or your out on the road in this area come here to get yo wash on 👍
High quality machines and helpful staff, but half the machines have been broken for months without being fixed and without them all operating there are never enough dryers.
Easy to work machines. Clean and well maintained. Good folks to help you. Some dryers dont dry as fast as others. Been doing laundry here for last 2 summers .
This place is going downhill a bit. Half the machines are broken and it causes backups like no other. Have to get here early if you want to get out in a timely manner.
The card system is fine even if you are just here for one visit - they gave me a guest card to return at the end so it was no issue. Probably easier than using quarters. They dont have any power sockets for laptops though which would be nice and there are loads of wifi connections around but I think they are for neighbouring businesses. Could be a little comfier but as I say, did the job.
Nice laundromat! Friendly staff! Great location!
No quarter options. You can only use bills or credit in the machine to buy a wash card. Washes are an odd amount requiring an extra nickel which you can’t add 5cents to the card. So you either spend $10 on a credit card to do $3 worth of clothes or insert bills and lose 45 cents on the odd amount left on your wash card. This is certainly intentional to rip people off of unused balances on wash cards. This is too much trouble. I just want to put in my quarters and do a wash. No need to buy cards. For wasting my time coming here and having to submit a review, and mostly bc there’s no way to do a wash and dry without wasting money on your card system, I gotta give 1 Star.
So very convenient. Nice variety of load sizes on the washers. Very clean. Affordable
Always the best to go in flagstaff
I wouldnt recommend this place. Laundry attendant couldnt help me when I needed help. Clothes too damp when I took it out machine so I have to spend extra $$ to dry my clothes and longer time. I dont like using refill use card which you have to pay extra $2 for it to buy it 🤬
The place is good overall. The machines are very new and well kept. I am a huge fan of the system where washer use automatically gives some free dryer time. My review is average because of the irritating card system and one bad experience. The attendant on duty opened all of our dryers while they were running to remove lint (which we told her we had just removed) and wipe the inside glass of the dryers. She ignored us, took quite a long time doing it (almost a full dryer cost) and didnt even offer to reimburse the time.
Usually very good but today I went to use a washer and after I put my card in and it was charged the machine was said out of order on the display. Normally no big deal but when I told the attendant he just looked at me. I showed him which one. Again just looked at me blankly. I asked what can be done about it and he offered to start a smaller washer for free, that was $2 cheaper and said he couldnt refund the difference and just wandered off. No apology. Just extreme disinterest.
Well this place is clean and very convenient, but the employees are awful. They have lied on people, steal your things. The employees have ugly souls.
It is great but directions were wrong it is right next to the Wal-Mart on the left side if you are looking directly at it...it is next door to at&t store so dont go around to the backside of Wal-Mart.
Its open. Very clean. Great machines. Uses a card no quarters needed. Attendant very helpful and informative. If I lived here, I would use this every week.
The card system is a scam. There are many wonderful and clean laundromats throughout the city of Flagstaff. There is no reason to be scammed by this so-called Maytag equipped rip off.
We have a family of 6 and can get all of our laundry done (about 8 loads or more). It costs us around $16. Our laundry comes out clean everytime. The only thing I complain about two staff members that are not helpful nor friendly to customers. I had one guy put in his headphones and turn on music while I was asking him about my card. Other than that, this is the only laundromat we use because of its affordability and clean facilities.
Very quick. I like the big machines. Sometimes you have to wait for a washer or dryer but its very rare.
Nice place to do laundry, gets over crowded somedays but really like the washers. Dryers at hott but somedays theres just too many that a our of order.
Clean. 3 different dryer sizes. machines do not use cash, theyvuse prepaid cards available via the attendant or a machine. plenty of chairs, counters for folding, also has drop-off laundry services. big parking lot. a little pricey but worth it for cleanliness and attendant (she was very helpful to us as we are passing thru, not familiar with process)
Most of the dryers arent working. Plus it takes 2 dollars just to get your cloths dried
3$ for small laod and dry yikes. .. 2$ were I usually go i do 5 loads of laundry a week looks like I save 20$ a month at the laundry mat I go to and it comes out just as nice hum kinda think this place is a little over priced i definitely like coin operated better at least your in control of your own money
They have wonderful staff, but the dryers are trash. Also there are frequently dryers out of order and for a single load it will have to go through the high setting 3-4 times before it’s even dry.
The most Dryers are not really hot, washers are fine, but clean environment overall and close shopping areas to browse.
Love this place its clean the machines are nice ditch the coin machines and pocket fulls of quarters load up your pre paid wash card you get credits towards free drying and the black lady that was working there was very helpful
Best laundromat in town !All new Maytag washer and dryers!!
Very clean and helpful staff
Very clean facility with modern machines. Staff is very helpful.
Not for travellers.
Very annoyed. No clear instruction to the fact that the 2$ card you must buy is only for the privilege of using their machines. On top of that the prices are way out of line as compared to others. There was no one present who could refund my 2$ as I was not going to go any further. I wont be back.
Excellent all new equipment owner very helpful.
Always busy cant get washers and dryers
Super nice attendants and VERY CLEAN.
Very helpful young lady that works there! Clean!
The heat works!
Clean friendly and lots of machines that actually work
Great staff, very helpful and clean premises!! :)
Friendly helpful stuff, in side is very clean
Can do it myself or get it done while I go about other things.
Super helpful and friendly
The attendant Colleen was rude and used fowl language towards other customers as she walked away from them. very racist things mostly toward the Native American population. She was not helpful and was on her phone to much to help I had to ask her 3 times to help me with the machine .... and then had a huge attitude ... I will NEVER go back... nor will my family....
Clean, decent prices, plus bathrooms
Coleen was so nice and helpful!
Nice machines usually clean
Nice place and clean
Very clean and quiet
I came in just to do one load of laundry and Im forced to pay $2 for a laundry card that I will never use again
Great place
Nice and clean.
