CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!!This was disappointing from start to finish. My husband made me a mani/pedi appointment here today(8/8) as an early birthday present. He picked this place due to their reasonable pricing, and we had just received a mailer coupon this past week.I arrived early for my appointment, picked out my colors, and took a seat. They did bring me back to the pedicure chairs around my appointment time, but it was 15 minutes of sitting with my feet in lukewarm water before anyone came over. Yes, I probably could have asked someone to warm up the water for me, but I didnt want to pull someone away from another customer.Henry asked me three times while I was in the pedicure chairs if I wanted a gel manicure, and each time I said, no, just regular. I was asked again twice when I moved over to the manicure station. While still doing my pedicure, he was paying more attention to the Olympics on the tv behind me, and definitely just going through the motions of removing my calluses, putting on lotion, etc. He was not careful of visible cuts I have at the edges of my nails. My polish also does not reach all the way to the edges of my nails on my fingers or toes, see pictures attached. After the pedicure, we moved over to the manicure station. He got my nails prepped, and asked for payment before doing the polish on my fingers. He said my total was $42, which is exactly what I was expecting. I gave him my card, and my 20% off coupon. He brought back my receipt back for me to sign. I put the tip down, and signed, not thinking much of the total. He took the signed copy back, and started on my polish. As he was doing that, I started doing math in my head, and realized the tip I gave him to bring my total back up, was NOT 20%. Checked my receipt once my nails were dry, and saw that l, while he only charged me $39, he only took $3 off. $6 off total is still less that 20% off.I politely asked which coupon he entered into the computer, because the amount charged and the discount werent what I thought they were going to be. He tried to say he gave me an extra discount ($39 instead of $42) but I pointed out that the discount was still wrong. I had to pull out the calculator on my phone and show him that my total (20%off $42) should have been $33.60, not $36 ($3 off $39). He STILL tried to argue that he gave me a better discount. I said I didnt want the discount he gave me, I wanted the full price with my 20% off. The manager came over, said something to him, and Henry huffily pulled $2 cash out of the drawer, pushed it into my hand and stared wordlessly at me as I said thank you, and left. I will NOT be going back.
I have been going to Tina for my nails for many years! She always does a great job and gets me in and out very fast! Highly recommend!!
Uh this place is fine i guess. it’s close to my house so i don’t go anywhere else.. the work is fine i’m not complaining. But i will say, today i asked if they did acrylic on toes and the owner goes to me “that’s a lot of money” and i was just like what? who says that to a customer. Very rude and i took offense to it. I go there often, i’m pretty sure he knew who i was so yeah.
I am new to the area and this salon was recommended by someone else. I had to wait 30 minutes even with a scheduled time before anyone touched me. I was there for a mani/pedi. I watched him put away tools from another client that were not sanitized. When the tech finally started working on my feet, he kept trying to rip the nail from the side of my big toe. I had to tell him to STOP several times. They were conveniently out of the gel color that I asked for and his cell phone was more important than my services he was poorly trying to provide. I will not step foot back into this salon again.
I got a full set of acrylics today and they did a great job Not to mention how great their customer service is. I really appreciate what great service they provide each and every time.
This has been my go to nail place for the last 4 years. Great quality!
I have gone to olio nails for many years now but I think I will find a new salon. I have had many experiences where they make me bleed and tell me not to worry about it and today while taking off my acrylic nails my real nail bed was ripped at the bottom to the point where blood was drawn. I had also shown the nail tech a picture of what I wanted and she said she could do it but my nails came out nothing like the picture and did not match the nail design on my other hand. I also asked for a nude color and instead I got a pink color. The shape was off and my nails were very thick and bulky. Had to go across the street to da Vinci nails to get them fixed and they did a great job there and I will be going there from now on.
They do a great job, and Ive always been able to get right in!
First time customer, very happy! Hands down the BEST full set I’ve ever gotten! Lovely atmosphere, great staff, amazing nails!!!!
Bad customer service. Wait time always long even when making an appointment. Quick and sloppy job every time. They don’t do a good job and they don’t ask if I like it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
I had such a great experience going here!! They did a great job on my nails and were so sweet to my little girl! They got her tablet set up on WiFi right away for her so she could watch her tablet while I got my nails done!! I’ll forever be a customer!
I love the family feel of this salon. They always greet me by name and ask about my kids. The services are professionally executed and reasonably priced. I appreciate the ability to walk-in without an appointment and receive efficient services without a long wait.
I’ve gone there since it opened! Tran is my go to person! Appointment suggested!
Love it! Tran is the best. Best pedi around.
I have been coming to this salon religiously for two years and love it! I drive 30 minutes out of my way if that tells you how great they are. John is the best! He does such a good job and always makes sure you’re satisfied!
I got my pedicure done on 3/3/21 and the lady was so rude and disrespectful, I had ask for a pink color and she didn’t have it and kept telling me that they didn’t have any pink colors and that I need it to pick something else, and she was so rude to my friend telling her she need it to keep moving forward . It’s not so much the fact that they didn’t have the color, is the fact that she was rude saying it and telling everyone about it . I wouldn’t recommend this place, they lie to much to their customers, one lady ask her if all those people had appts and she said yes, me knowing I was a walk in ! Oh and she also snatch my credit card and receipt out of my hand !So disrespectful and unprofessional!!!
Absolutely love how clean and nice the salon is. Also love how amazing Tyra is. Found my first ever permanent nail technician. Very gentle, nice, educated/experienced, and fast. She’s done an amazing job on my nails and I couldn’t be happier! Also educated me and gave best advice so I wouldn’t be back in a couple days with a broken nail from another salon doing a poor acrylic application. Highly recommended!!
Great service and friendly people. Love this salon. They do great work!
Went to this nail salon a couple weeks ago because it is closest to my house and I needed to get my nails done right before leaving for vacation. I have never been so disappointed with a salon. I got the dip powder and within 2 days they had chipped. A week and a half after getting them done one nail had broken at the tip. Two days later another nail had the dip start breaking off from the nail bed. The dip also began lifting from the base and to top it off I ended up with an infection on one nail. I have never once gotten a nail infection in the many years I have been getting my nails done. I am disgusted. I am not hard on my nails either. I can normally make a dip last over 3 weeks without a fill, no chips, no breaking, no separation from the nail. Honestly, they were not that good to begin with. The lengths and shapes were uneven and the dip did not cover the entire nail in some places, plus the top coat did not cover the whole dip area on a few nails, as well as bubbles in the top coat. They took way more time to do my nails and cost more than my usual salon for an inferior service.
Excellent service! Excellent results!
Worst experience of my life. I went to go get my nails done yesterday. NOT only were they talking about how bad my nails were when I was right in front of them, they were also rude. The guy didn’t try talking to me. He had black hair with blonde on top. He was VERY rough with my nails. My nails are crooked and already chipping. He kept telling me to relax. How can I relax when someone is being rough and hurting my nails and kept pulling my arm. 😡NEVER going back here.
Well priced and super kind workers! They always do amazing on my nails and great conversation. Would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone:-)
My friend and her mom recommended this place, they go religiously. I’ve never found a place that does acrylics so well, everyone there is super friendly and they don’t overcharge!
I love this salon! I’ve been a returning customer for about 3-4 years now and am always very satisfied with the service provided. I recently went off to college and still wait to get my nails done until I come home so I can come here.
The 1st time I came it was to get gel removed from my daughters toes. I tried asking several times if they did chrome nails. After asking 4-5 times they showed me chrome samples. Today I came in just to get chrome and they had no idea what chrome was. I tried explaining they previously showed me samples and they insisted on showing me polish. Chrome is a process which is a powder on gel that turns into chrome. Unfortunately I won’t be back.
Olio Nail and Spa is the best nail salon in the area. The customer service is always great. They acknowledge you as soon as you come in the door. The quality of the service is also consistent and excellent. There are a lot of nail colors to choose from. The owner is always working and welcomes every customer. It is refreshing to come to a true spa-like salon. Prices are reasonable and I highly recommend trying them if you want quality service.
I have gone to this salon for several years. The technicians always greet me by name. I always have good, friendly service here. It is also very clean, and always beautifully decorated.
Love the new variety of dip colors they have to offer! With the dip polish I do not have to get my nails done as often. Which is a perk for me due to my busy schedule. If you have time to squeeze in a pedicure do so!!! The CHAIRS... holy massage and it gets better with hot stones! Multiple options to pick from all around. Friendly staff and very clean salon!
They are great!!! Prices are good and very clean!!
This was my first time at the salon, and I took my best friend and her younger sister. My friend and I were both planning on getting an acrylic fade with coffin cut. We showed the lady a picture and she agreed that she could do them. Then while I was getting a pedicure, she gave my friend a regular French tip nail with a square cut. When she asked her to fix them, the lady refused and made her pay. Her nails also had bad bubbles underneath the gel. So I left without getting my manicure and we called Royal Nails for help. Thankfully, Royal Nails repaired them for free! Will not be returning.
Just read the other reviews and wish I would have before I went here. There seems to be a lot of bad consistent reviews which is a red flag! I am new to the area and went here for the first time bc its convenient and I had tanned next door. I decided to get try powder and they told me that the powder will last 3 weeks. It did not last that long at all and numerous nails started lifting after about a week and one nail completely just peeled off. When it peeled off I had fungus on my actual nail!!! Never in my life have i had that! I then had two more come off and had fungus on those too! I went tanning and decided i should go in and show them my nails. I wasnt even wanting anything from them or wanting them fixed just wanted to show them how disappointed I was. They were nice and told me to come back and they would make things better for me. I actually really liked the girl that did my nails so a few weeks later I decided to give them another chance because they were nice when I came back in to show them. The same girl did my nails and I decided to go with gel instead of the powder bc I know that always works and wears well on my nails. They did not charge me for the gel manicure and I left happy. Literally 2 days after the gel manicure, 2 days!, my pointer finger started lifting and then peeled completely off. Ive had gel numerous times and I have never had polish just peel right off. So disappointed. Then a couple days later I had numerous nails peeling and chipping. Literally the worst gel of my life. Something is not right here. It seems like the quality of the products they are using are not good. I will not be back here and I highly suggest you going somewhere else too because there are tons of better places within minutes.
This was my first experience at the salon, and I had a great experience! Kevin was wonderful and very friendly. Very clean and nice atmosphere. I will definitely be going back!
I got my nails done less than a week ago (dip) and four of them have chipped and they all have cracks in it. They did not do a good job at all and I even went back to get one nail fixed and 3 more chipped right after.
Worst experience of my life! I got an acrylic overlay and the guy messed up my nails so bad that I asked someone in the shop to fix them and he threw a fit. I talked to the manager and showed him the crooked acrylics and nail polish all over my hands and broken skin and he told me he couldnt give me a refund because he didn’t see a problem. The manager then began fighting with me about not being able to give everyone who wasn’t satisfied with their nails a refund and that I was being dramatic. I just walked out with my awful nails and cried in the car. I will never go back to this place and I regret going there in the first place because now I need to pay to get these off.
Very friendly staff, quick service
Very friendly staff and I love the way my nails turned out.
Pedi was just basic but called deluxe. Nothing in the water, no choice of salt scrub or lotion scents, no massage just rubbing salt scrub and lotion on legs and nothing on my feet. First place that has ever used the drill on my toenails. Left with polish on my skin that they didn’t bother to clean off. It’s a nail salon not a spa. After 1 week my Dip nails were chipping and needed to be redone.
Best place I’ve been. Never going anywhere else.
Always clean! Always friendly. Always a job well done! Cute shop too! You wont be disappointed!
We had an appointment for 4 people at 3 they seated us at 3:05 in the pedicure chairs- they obviously could not accommodate 4 people so why would you take an appointment for 4? My youngest daughter got started around 3:15 Three of us sat 30 minutes, someone finally sat down in front of my son at 3:35- next someone sat in front of my other daughter at 3:36 who also wanted a manicure and the technician suggested gel twice! and I am still sitting there- I WAS going to get the deluxe but that had an upgraded soak so I wasnt going to get that now! I was so upset I got up and left, the guy said she will only be a few minutes -sorry an appointment means an appointment to me!. We had another person with us that was sitting in the kids pedicure chair- who barely weighs 130 pounds and suddenly someone asked her to move across from us - how rude can you get? Not only will I NEVER go there again I will make sure I let everyone I know NOT to go there
0 Stars. Horrible service & Overcharged me. I made an appointment and it was very busy so I was serviced very quickly. That was the ONLY partially okay thing about this place. I got a full set of acrylics with gel polish. Their website, the price board inside the place, AND the man at the front desk told me it was $31. I sit down and the guy didn’t clean my nails, cut my cuticles, or massage or lotion my hands. After buffing down my nail he left all the nail dust on there and just painted over it. The paint job was quick and sloppy and he was more focused on his phone. Threw some oil on them and said that’s it. Didn’t let me wash them or anything. Then proceeds to tell me it’s going to cost me $40. And with my coupon it will be $32. I said but I was told it was $31 originally so it should be $23 with coupon and he said no it’s $40. So basically he racked up the price to compensate for the coupon. The acrylics are not even close to the cuticle and aren’t straight at all. Go anywhere else.
Great! I love it, my nails have never looked better. They are quick and you nails still look better and last longer then they would at any place.
I recently went to Olio nail spa one afternoon recently. I preface this review by saying I did not have an appointment, but the door does state walk-ins welcome. Also I will say, the nail salon looks nice on the inside and it appears to be clean. The workers also speak very good English and understand your request. However, I waited over 35 minutes for a manicure that barely lasted 10 or 12 at the Max. And I also cannot understand paying $30 for a manicure, and after not having had one for at least three or four months she didn’t cut any skin off of my cuticles: how is that even possible? Lastly I spent the rest of the evening picking my skin apart from my fingernail where she clumped so much clear topcoat on that my skin stuck to the bottom of my nail. It has only been a few days and I will say that none of them have chipped off yet, but I highly doubt they will last two weeks. I will never go back.
Great place and very reasonable prices, with coupons available.
Clean, friendly service. Gel paint was dry to touch before I left.
Nope. Go elsewhere! Horrible customer service. When I walked in the man said, “What do you want?”Yep.. nothing. Enjoy your day rude person.
Great sevice!
I just got my nails done and my nails are all a different shape, my nails are bleeding, the dip is sticky and not all level, the white it’s not fully opaque, overall bad job, did not know what they were doing .
Seemed clean. No attention was paid towards my feet. My technician was mostly concerned about the front door. I asked twice for him to cut my nails shorter, this never happened:/ i was made to feel ridiculous for asking for them to be cut! But they grow so fast and can hurt in my shoes, hence the reason I get pedis regularly. I stayed quite for the rest of the service. As to not be difficult, massage was rough and rushed(since he wasnt even looking at what he was doing. And he scrubbed one part of my heel raw with what looked like a cheese grater, leaving the rest feeling untouched. Now for the polish... at this point the service was laughable, the polish was clearly gooey, poor guy toughed it out. Smoothing the crappy polish better than I thought possible. Then when adding pedi flops, scolded me for god knows what. I tried, we failed. Ill go get a pedicure tomorrow and all will be well:)
Great service, very clean
Asked for coffin shaped nails, got the exact opposite. I’m so upset with my nails and the price, I can’t get over it.
Have been going there for years. My favorite!
Worst place to get your eyebrows waxed. Very inexperienced and put little effort into it.
Like many other nail salons, this place is more concerned about how many customers they can get in and out rather than the quality. I sat with my feet in the water bath for over 30 mins. Granted it was a Saturday, but they had twice the amount of customers in foot baths than there were technicians.
Great price and selections! Was my first visit will be coming back again.
So rude. I walked in and asked for wait time. I was told they dont know and I can just leave and come in later. Even the girls that were waiting already told me they thought that was rude. Shame on you for treating a new client like this. I will make sure I spread the word on your meaness.
WORST SET OF NAILS IVE EVER HAD. They dont listen to what you ask for at all!!!! I asked for mine to be trimmed a little and they are GONE. They butchered them!!!! MY NAILS ARE LOPSIDED. I asked for an almond shape!!!!! I will never go again. They didnt even use the right color of nail polish!
Horrible. Very rushed and rough pedicure. I will never go back there.
I’ve only gone once, today actually and it was a total flop! My feet are still callused because he barely did anything but rub lotion on my feet, I actually had to tell him there’s still rough spots and even that didn’t get him to do a better job. My friends guy was on the phone the entire time not even paying attention to a thing he was doing. The man rudely told me to get out the chair and go dry across the room! I’m 7 months noticeably pregnant and he didn’t even help me grab my stuff on the floor, he walked right away. It was a disaster! Negative stars for this service! Awful awful!
My sister and I went decided to go here over the past weekend since we have never been. We usually go to Bella PC or Da Vinci Nails. We called and made an appointment at 4, we get there at 4:02 and have to wait about 10 minutes. We go to our pedicure chairs and wait for another 15 minutes while our feet soak in cool water. The owner did my pedicure & another lady that used to work at Bella did my sister’s. She said she wanted the regular & I told the owner I wanted the deluxe, $4 difference between the two. They kept asking about the nail salon across the street, Da Vinci. We both said we were in there for our last pedicure and they remodeled the place and it looks awesome. About half way through, my sister noticed they were doing the deluxe on her. She asked what pedicure she was doing and the lady said the deluxe. She was like okay, whatever, no big deal, even though I didn’t ask for it. The owner keeps getting up because you can hear a baby crying in the back and his three year old daughter is running around the salon. I do love children but c’mon, I do not bring my son to work with me. It’s just plain unprofessional. I pay money to go relax and get my nails done. So the guy finally gets done polishing my toes and told the lady doing my sister’s to do my top coat when she is done with hers. She does but didn’t put my flip flops on like they always do at other nail salons. She said no dryer, just sit here for 10 minutes. After 5 I put my shoes on and noticed he missed a few spots. I fixed it myself since no one seemed to check on me or was around. We went up front to pay and the owner said $30. I handed him my card and his three year old daughter had a fit because she wanted to swipe my card. He gave in and she swiped it about 5 times before it finally took. I got a bit nervous as I did not want to see multiple charges on my bank account. I did check and it was only charged once. Then my sister pays and he charged her $40, she had a 20% off coupon, so it was only $32. She did not leave a tip and he looked her crappy. We get out to my car and she told how much he charged her. I said why did you not question it? She said I’m not even worried about, I just won’t go back. So I would recommend this nail salon. We will just stick with Bella PC, seems to be the best place to go.
One lady took my acrylics off with her credit card. Ruined my nails and will never go back there again!
Worst place ever went in for full set of acrylics the lady did them all weird and had to ask for help doing them they were very rude and within two days three nails had chipped or broken off they also made my nails look like they were two weeks old I suggest going anywhere but here
Awesome as always!
Nail not even, staff talked against other nail salons and staff.
Made online reservations which was worthless still waited forever for a sub-par experience
The service is always amazing
Dirty. Worst ever full set I have received.
Always a good experience!
Efficient
