I was looking for a quality nail salon near me and this place is phenomenal. They do amazing work! They make sure that all the nails are the same shape and length. I love that they take a little extra time to make sure the nails look great and that you are happy with your nails even when they are busy. They have so many great colors and can do really fun/creative designs. I have been here many times (they are definitely consistent) and will keep going back for all my nail and pedicure needs.

Phenomenal! Amazing! Beautiful! I dont have enough adjectives to describe how much my daughter loves her nails. We have found our new nail salon. It is also much closer. Calvin was great and I highly, highly recommend.

Today I was seen by Calvin. It was busy but I waited because I was referred to him by a friend. He was so nice and I lobe my nails. Got a soak off and fill set! The price was great!. One thing about him and this place they will take care you but it’s busy you just have to wait until your turn. It’s worth it

I honestly FELT bad for starting to write a meh review, but we spent $120 (with tip) on nails and my shellac had already chipped on two different fingers from just Friday to Sunday.I called, they told me to come in and they will fix it.Just got here and immediately Im asked1. Who did them?2. Are you sure it was our salon? (yes, spent 2 hours here on Friday)He finalizes that with saying your nails are too short for Gel. Makes me sign in, and wait for others to go ahead of me to fix their mistake.I left after waiting 20 minutes.After researching the brand they use, its extremely cheap and Im not at all surprised my nails chipped after regular wear 2 days later. Highly do not recommend this salon, and Ive included the proof of payment before he tries to say they have no record of my visit.

Calvin was so friendly. Looked like they had a lot of cool options for chrome, mood changing, and more. Despite being a little busy he took his time to make sure I had the right shape and took care to prep them. Will be going to get my fills here!

I absolutely love this place! I drive 30 minutes across town just to get my hands and feet done, I have never been disappointed! Their attention to detail is immaculate. They take their time so you can leave with the best of the best on your hands and feet. If theres something they cannot do they will let you know and show you what they can make from the information given. Ive been treated like family every time I have entered this establishment, it is well worth the wait!

FINALLY a shop in this area I love!I went to VIP for around 8 years before, Calvin and Lana were there during this time. I moved away and for the last 3 years have been searching for a salon on this side of town that performed and had amazing quality.So glad I read reviews and found them! Amazing quality! Calvin is meticulous and Lanas designs are fire!I overheard another worker give another client very good advice on how to care for her nails as well.Pedicures are extremely thorough and relaxing too!Also they are SUPER clean!

I guess it was about time I wrote a review. I started going here right when restrictions began to be lifted during the pandemic. I was nervous to start going back to salons, but I was reassured by reviews stating how clean and friendly this place was. Now it’s been over a year, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience. I know when I come here that no matter who does my nails the results will always be good. I can stop in randomly with no fear. Even though I’m 35 minutes away, making the trip for consistency is completely worth it to me. The prices are fair and offer a wide array of services. Today was my first time coming here and I came based on the pictures and reviews. I would highly recommend!! They take the time on your nails and can tell they really care about what they are doing. I’m very picky with my nails and they did a good job. I got acrylics and a pedicure with regular polish.

Have been here to get my nails done several times. So far the quality of nails is better than most, but depends on who you get to do the nails. Customer service could be a little better, and they need to figure out a system for the ridiculously long wait times. Today the owner told me They won’t call your phone when you are close to being next, and they do not take appointments. Poor service in terms of wait time and some towards people that have spend $70 or more to get their nails done. I will be looking for a few new spots to try.

They do good work if you’re getting something simple. I’ve gone to them for years. They’re really good about walkins. But two times now I’ve asked for 1) a floral design and 2) hombre and they said they couldn’t do it. I’ll be going somewhere with more creative range from now on…

Got a pedicure, $28 with regular polish. She massaged my feet and calves, was very sweet and wrapped my feet in hot wet towels (best part). My feet were so moisturized and a cute polish color too. Nail equipment were taken out of an autoclave type thing so clean as well. Massage chairs a nice bonus as always.

Hands-down the best full set I’ve ever gotten. So glad I found this place. Also a few weeks ago I got a pedicure which was also perfect. Go see jimmy!! He’s the best

It took over an hour to get in, the color I chose was not the color that ended up on my nails, she made me bleed and got dip powder on my skin that required multiple attempts to remove

Several years ago I was blessed to walk in at VIP Nails (where Calvin used to work) and be seated with #17, Calvin. Ever since that day, I refused to let anyone else touch my nails. He is the most talented nail technician in the World. This man can do any shape, any color, any design, etc. He can do square nails AMAZING. Sadly, I moved to Chicago a year ago and my life has never been the same. I can’t find anyone even remotely close to his talent level. I miss getting my nails done by Calvin so much. I am very sad about it. Please go support this family business and tip generously.

Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. They DO NOT clean their tools properly, and after they finish your feet or nails they put them back in a the cabinet and use the same tool on the next person. If you value your safety and others, please go somewhere else.

Its been less than a week since I got a full set here and 2 nails have broken off. I got one fixed 4 days after the service only for another to break the next day and all I was doing was drying my hands. I left nice generous tip because of covid but wish I could get that back.

This place is FANTASTIC! The shape of my nails is perfect, the quality is perfect, they are holding up incredibly! The staff was super professional and very friendly! This was my first visit and I definitely wont be going anywhere else!

New owners, new decor!! Ive been going to this salon for years. I was sad to see the old owners leave however the new owners are fantastic. They revamped the salon, got new up to date nail products and they will take time to discuss whats now available. I dont do pedicures often in the winter however this last time I upgraded to deluxe, it was worth every penny. Forever a loyal customer.

They don’t clean their tools or pedicure stations after each person especially during a pandemic. They move really slow paced and the prices are high to me, I have gotten my nails done cheaper at another place for shellac and acrylic. My nails was good but it could have been better. The owners a nice people just the other staff is ok

Ridiculously long wait times as they dont take appointments and are walk in only. They do not stand by their 3 day warranty as claimed. Refused to fix or issue a refund. Cant recommend.

This place was amazing, they did my nails perfectly. Very relaxing I basically fell asleep during my pedicure and full set. They didnt try to overcharge me or get me to buy extra. They communicated with me well, but also not too much and let me relax. I give this place a 10 out of 10

The older gentleman did my pedicure but he’s very rough.He was pulling and cutting at my toe nail cuticles I thought they were gonna believe he pulled so hard it hurt then he polish my nails and it kept messing up this is my first time here so maybe I’ll give them a second chance with someone else

I have been coming to this nail spa since 2010, and it’s the best!! They recently have a whole new staff and the whole spa has been redone! Great service. And great prices!! The staff is VERY friendly!! And always accommodating. Their work and training really shows. I also refer anybody I know to go to nail spa in ferndale!!

Loved the previous owners but the new owners are even better. Salon is completely redone and everyone does an amazing job. I’ve had 3 different technicians and I was so happy with each one.
