On top of that, the owners are some of friendliest, most welcoming people I know. I always feel at home there and I look forward to every time I get to go there. I really like the set up in this barber/ hat shop. It has a small town friendly feel. It’s a great small business in Ferndale and it had a great assortment of high quality hats. I’ve gotten beard trims and haircuts here multiple times and have always walked out looking more dapper. 🙌

I stopped in with my boyfriend to look at hats, and he ended up getting a perfect hair and beard trim! Everyone was very welcoming and knowledgeable! I bought the Dirty Girl Farm shampoo and conditioner and am very pleased! At only $8 a bottle these products are all natural, vegan, and made right here in MI. Great recommendation. I will be back for more. As a long time Ferndale resident I am happy to welcome this unique spot to our community and wish them much success!

Ive gone to Bridget for a few haircuts, and my hair is growing out better than it ever has before! She knows exactly how to cut and style my curls, and she takes the time to explain exactly what shes doing and why. On top of the great haircuts, the atmosphere in the shop is so comfortable, friendly, and inviting. I highly recommend checking out The Hi Hat.

I suggest to anyone I meet to go get a haircut from Kyle. The reasons why are endless but the biggest part of why I tell people is because for the price you pay now you can rest knowing that you at one point got your haircut by someone who could easily charge you 3x that amount and you would still pay it because it is that good. Best mens haircut in town hands down!

I usually dont let people cut my hair, as I am use to doing it myself. But this place Bridget is the best hands down, maybe even better than me. Lol
