Previously, when we used this barber the gentleman (owner?) was doing cuts and not only did a great job on my teen son’s hair, but was very efficient. He had a long line and got through people in a timely fashion—less than 15 minutes per patron. We were very pleased!We returned today and a lady barber was doing cuts. There were three people ahead of my son, plus the gentleman in the chair, but we weren’t concerned since last time it was dealt with efficiently. We had another appointment in an hour and a half but thought we might make it. When we finally gave up & left after an hour of waiting, there were still two people in front of us and the third was in the chair, not yet done with his cut. It took an hour for her to get through one and a half heads knowing there was a long line of patrons waiting (three more men were waiting after my son, and fourth had abandoned hope already)—meaning we could have waited another hour til my son even got in the chair. I really cannot understand how she even managed to take that long on each haircut (they weren’t complicated cuts), especially since the other barber we’ve seen here was so timely and deft. No offense to the barber today, but no haircut is worth that kind of wait.We will be back another time to try again & hope for the time-conscious barber 🤞🏼

A hole in the wall. The barber, an older lady, was outstanding. For years I was looking for a good place for a haircut and finally found it yesterday. She still uses a straight edge razor and that impressed me. My haircut? The best! 👌👌👌Second time I went to Pioneer Center Barbers and this time it was Chad, the son of Dianne, the first one that gave me my first haircut. Wow she was very right when she said her son is a good barber. My wife noticed my hair as soon as she walked in and said she likes it. I was so proud of this haircut that I took a picture and sent it to my folks. And for $12.00, better than all those places that I had been and charged over $20.00. Of course some of them places you get a can of beer. Not this one. All you get is good service and utmost satisfaction.

One of the more interesting and friendly shops Ive ever had cut my hair and trim my beard. In 15 minutes or less, I was looking good and if you know me, thats quite impressive, bordering on a miracle even. It was worth the 3200 mile trip from Palm Coast FL to go there for a haircut.
