The staff was attentive and friendly. Nancy, believe was the one who cut my hair, helped me get a new haircut and tame my long pre-covid hair. I got about a foot cut off. My old hair was way too much for humid Michigan summer. I dont usually wear my hair short but was a ready for a change. The salon was also clean and the prices were fair for my husband and I. Plan to go again in the future.

So nice and accommodating - turned off their background music for my son who is extremely sound sensitive in addition to giving him a great haircut - thanks ladies!

Have been coming here for 25 years and in that time, there has only been 2 occasions that left me less than pleased with my cut. Julie and Anita are both very talented and likely the greatest influence on this locations success. As long as one or both of them are there, I’ll keep coming regardless of the name on the door.

We stopped in on a busy Sunday after calling ahead to place a cut for myself and a cut/styling for my girlfriend, we had about an hour wait ahead of us. So after taking care of errands we stopped in for our appointment and we’re both quickly cut and styled by Chenethia. She was very sweet, quick, and even helped clean up my beard and eyebrows. I would definitely recommend this location for your cut or stylings!

I have been coming to this location to get a haircut from Anita for 12+ years. Anita is the best! Not only do I get a great haircut, but she and the team there are so friendly and make everyone feel like family. This location is very clean and comfortable. The team is very diligent in cleaning and sanitizing between customers.

Just recently, the salon, had no hot running water, and she went over and above, for my son, who was getting a perm. She warmed water in a teapot, to rinse his hair!Now that, was so wonderful of her! Overall the ladies are kind and welcoming. Anita, in particular, blows out my hair regularly. After going to a stylist in my hometown in SoCal for almost 30 years, then coming to Ferndale 6 years ago and going to a salon in Berkley, I decided to try Super Cuts. Anita followed my requests exactly. She is professional, thoughtful and listens to what you want, not what she wants, for your style (unless you ask her of course!) The staff at Supercuts in Ferndale are fantastic! I moved from New York and was hesitant to have a new stylist color and cut my hair. I was so pleased with the friendly atmosphere, professionalism and most of all the cut and color!

In this era of Covid-19 their sanitizing processes put me at ease. My stylist Nawal has always given me a quality haircut and made me feel at home while Im there.I highly recommend this salon.

I get my haircut here, most often by Nowal. I am happy with the way she cuts my hair. Others who cut it there such as Nancy, Lamia, and Julie are great as well.

Super awesome staff and reasonable prices

Mask policy and social distancing were not enforced even after I had expressed discomfort. A staff member waxed my eyebrows at the shampoo bowl next to another guest that was unmasked. This guest refused to wear her mask because staff refused to ask her to and rather than asking her to wait until my services were complete they had her less than a foot from me. I was uncomfortable and even more so after I spoke up and no changes were made. The other guests behavior was reinforced rather than corrected. Looks like there was another Google review regarding masks six months ago and this location has NOT gotten it together. No bueno.

Ive been coming to this Salon for many years. My stylist is a caring, loving person with a big heart. The new interior of the salon is nice, clean and during this Covid pandemic especially clean and sanitized.

This salon saved my hair. I went somewhere else beforehand and needed to have my hair fixed so I went to Supercuts. Anita fixed my hair and truly cared that I was happy. I was very happy indeed, and plan to go to Supercuts for a long time to come.

Thursday September 10th I had an appointment with Nancy at Supercuts salon at the Ferndale location. She messed up on my layers and didnt use a detangler soloution on my hair which I needed.I used to work at BoRics 25 years ago at this same location. I cant belive these same people are still there, and still maintain an immature and hateful mindset to deliberately give me an inferior haircut, when I know they do good work on everyone elses hair.

I go here when I get a hair cut about once a year sometimes more depending on my budget. Usually I have an amazing time. But I went in the other day for a hair cut only the lady kept asking about my eye brows I finally said yes and paid for my eye brows even though I didnt want them done and that is extra cost I didnt budget for but she wouldnt shut up about it. Than I tried to show a photo of what I wanted done she wouldnt look at it. So I said I want this buzzed and the top longer with layers. She says you dont want buzz Ill cut with scissors. So she cut it and asked how I liked it I said no use the buzzers all around the button and around the ears and she wouldnt. She buzzed half bottom part of the back but wouldnt buzz around my ears. I went home where I could put my glasses on and actually see in the mirror what my hair looked like. I wanted to cry it was not what I wanted at all and I had hair sticking straight up in the back. I called up and asked for anita who usually does my hair and asked her if I could come up for her to fix my hair she told my give her 30 minutes and come back up. So I did. Anita couldnt get the cut I wanted because of the hack job that was done but she was able to make it look so much better and she buzzed my hair like I wanted. We talked and she and i both think the other lady was afraid to do it because i did come in with semi long hair and asked for it to be buzzed off but my hair needed it i color my hair alot I never go to roots though and most my hair was damaged beyond fixable so I had it buzzed to start fresh. But its frustrating knowing what I want and not being able to get it because someone was afraid to make a change on someone elses hair that they wanted and pretty much pressured them into something they said no too. From now on I will only let anita cut my hair as she isnt afraid to help someone make a huge change and she also knows I tend to do very domestic changes with my hair.
