This was the first time since moving to the DMV that I had gotten my nails done. Kim took great care of me and gave me the best full set with gel polish service I’ve had in a long time. She was very punctual, displayed great attention to detail, and extremely kind. I will definitely be coming back to see her again.

Great place to get awesome nail done. This has become my go to place for my nails. Kim is very nice and patient and shows all her interest to do an amazing work. Last evening I had Girls time with my friends while getting my nails done and it was so amazing experience. Full disclosure this was my first nail salon experience (former lifelong nail-biter) and it could not have been more positive. I feel so confident which is worth any price in my opinion. I got a short coffin acrylic set from Kim who was exceptional— a truly dedicated artist/tech with a lovely personality and attention to detail. She recommended an ombré nail color which is like a nail mood ring situation that changes tone under light and temp. My SO got a manicure/pedicure and he was super happy with it. A very chill atmosphere and beautiful service. I’ll definitely be returning.

We just moved to the area so we were looking for a place and we called for a last minute appointment for acrylics as it was our daughters birthday and she wanted to get her nails done. Ms. Kim ws kind enough to accommodate us right there and then. Since the moment we walked in you can tell customer service is their priority, they knew most of their customers coming in and their stories which was very endearing to see. Then Ms. Kim was the one who went on to do the designs for our daughters nails, our daughter really didnt know what she wanted so Ms. Kim was guiding her and recommending what would look good. The final result was awesome, our daughter felt like a queenie and adores how special Ms. Kim made her feel. She even told her she was going to name these nails the Alexs nails and she was beyond the moon with that. The perfect finish to start of her birthday for our girl. Everyone at Posh is great and kind. They will go above and beyond to provide a great customer service and give you what you want but remember they are the experts, if they say something doesnt look good, listen to them, they have been doing this far longer that you haven seen it on a picture, just because you asked for it doesnt mean they will deliver a horrible product so you can then trash them for a bad job. Soo recommended!!!

Best nail experience ever. I got a full set of acrylics with a different design on each nail. Mai was so skillful and paid very close attention to detail, she wanted to get everything perfect! Mai and Kim, who did my sisters nails, were so fun to talk and hang out with! Fun little photoshoot at the end to take the best pictures of our nails. I would definitely recommend this place and especially Mai!

Great service, good prices!! The prices are the fairest of any Ive seen around Fairfax. Dont get my nails done very often, but when I do I highly recommend Posh Nails!! Kim is so personable and really cares about providing great and efficient service. I came to her with an idea for a design not entirely sure if they would be able to do it, but she did it perfectly and worked really well with me! She also did excellent brow waxing, and threw in a free lip wax because I was also getting my nails done. Her design was so well-done! Everyone there is so personable and attentive. I rarely write reviews, but this was one of the worst manicures and pedicures I have ever gotten. First of all it took 3 hours for a regular pedicure and a dip manicure. I have been to enough salons to know that is too long. The pedicure chair didn’t recline so I was sore and uncomfortable by the end. Also she took the toe dividers out immediately after painting my nails so they smudged. A different woman did my dip manicure and it is inconsistent, thick on some nails, bumpy, and a hair stuck in one, just not good at all. She also wouldn’t let me get the color I wanted saying it wasn’t bright and springy enough, cut my nails shorter than I asked because “it’s not good if they are long”, didnt shape them how I wanted and left in the middle of my treatment to paint someone else’s nails because she said the woman who did my toes was too slow. Everyone was nice, but both the manicure and pedicure were bad and took unreasonably long. I really did consider walking out, but because of the pandemic I wanted to support a local business. I won’t ever be going back though.

Posh Nails is a small salon found close to the heart of Fairfax. The interiors are cute and the staff is super friendly! I saw that their prices were extremely reasonable so I decided to give Posh Nails a visit. I am usually not the type to get my nails done, but I came by hoping to get tidied up for my upcoming summer trip. Needless to say, I am TOTALLY obsessed with what I got. I left with the cutest nails ever!I got powder dipped nails done by Mai. She is the BEST. She took her time and really tried her hardest to give me the nails I wanted. She was very careful and precise so you can tell she knew what she was doing. She also had a display of the variety of nail art shes capable of doing as well, which was very handy and cute (I suggest bringing in a couple of pictures of styles you want and seeing if shes able to get you to those results!). I must admit, I am a nail biter, so off the bat I knew it would be a bit difficult working with my nails but she DID IT. Mai is SO, SUPER talented. She has worked at Posh Nails for over 15 years now, so ASK FOR HER! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!Pro Tip: Be very transparent with what you want the outcome to look like! Also be kind - these women work so hard!As for COVID precautions, they had barriers up at every station and provided hand sanitizer. They engaged in social distancing and have limited staff working. They do disinfect and replace equipment between clients as well.

I got an SNS manicure there and they did a good job. Kim spent a lot of time making sure I got what I wanted and knew all the colors in the store. She even added a little bunny for easter! The ladies were so so sweet and I’ll definitely come back when I’m in town.

Worst nail place I ever been too. The lady that did my nails was rushing didn’t give me time my nails didn’t even last two weeks and they were dip in nails. Don’t waste your time and money.

This place is absolutely disgusting. If you go here I’m sorry if you leave with an infection. I am not one to normally ever leave a poor review but I received a pedicure here and they reused the same pumice stone as they did everyone else, the tools were not clean, they reused the same file and buffer that they have on who knows how many people. If they were to cut someone with the pumice stone or tools and then cut you, you can get a blood born pathogen. This place is NOT clean and is against state board regulations.

I have just moved here from Pittsville and came with an awful manicure. Kim was able to straighten and fix everything wrong.I left with both hands beautiful and repaired. Examples of the before and after pictires.

I had gotten my nails done in DC the day before going in to get a polish change(gel and a finger already had a huge chip). Kim was wonderful. When she had taken the polish off she found air pockets, water damage, and that the points were crooked. She took the time to fix them all and did this wonderful design. I’m getting married and my nails needed to be gorgeous. I’m happy to say that Kim exceeded those expectations while still charging less than the salon in DC. I genuinely cannot recommend this nail salon enough. Just go, you won’t regret it. ❤️

I haven’t had acrylics done in over six years but after Kim did my nails it reminded me of how much I missed them! She did a great job and was also very welcoming. Update: I don’t believe I made myself clear when I initially posted this so let me reiterate. It is MOST DEFINITELY the application that caused this. I have been getting my acrylics done for years now, and I have been to multiple salons and artists, most of which have shown basic skills with acrylic and knowing how to shape it and mold it. The following pictures show how the acrylic was applied also to my cuticle area, the skin, and has now grown out and is lifted. Whenever I run my hands through my hair I am catching it beneath this lifted area. It’s pretty annoying. The pictures also show that the color is two different colors, barely blended together. No big deal. The sides of almost every nail was not completed and are now arched in a very odd way that I’ve never had happen to me before. We can blame all of this on acrylic but that’s not the issue at all, I’m very familiar with what it’s suppose to look like, shape like and withhold like, and this is not it. They are either using an extremely faulty acrylic (not likely) or the artist does not know what she is doing.⚠️ Warning ⚠️Kim was very friendly and nice to chat with, but I have to warn my fellow acrylic nail lovers. The customer experience is great and I loved that she kept it so personal, but the reason I rated it a 1 star salon is due to the fact that the acrylic was done very poorly and not in a timely manner at all. If you’re in a rush, or don’t want to have your nails done for 1 and half + hours I do not recommend going here. She is meticulous, but I’m sorry to say that the work was extremely sloppy. It’s not even 2 weeks out from having my nails done and I can see areas where she did not put acrylic on the sides of the nail, causing it to look chipped. I got an ombré look, which is not easy at all, and it looks like two different colors separated from one another. If you’re picky about how your acrylics look I would not go to this salon. Again, Kim is an extremely nice lady and is wonderful to chat with, but the work is not worth the money and takes two times longer than it should.

My experience was exactly what I needed, especially being new to the area. Kim did such an impeccable job on my nails and was also super sweet and funny. This nail salon has totally earned my business going forward!
