My living experience here has been great! This location has awesome personnel. The maintenance team are friendly, and responsive to requests. Additionally, the Leasing Manager Drew Burnett is excellent; He is extremely professional and made every effort to accommodate me during my lease.I highly recommend Wellington Parkside, for convenient and comfortable living in the greater Boston area.
I am pretty impressed with my experience living at this apartment complex. The leasing office has an amazing staff that are very helpful and flexible. Specifically, Drew was communicative and effective at handling all of my questions/concerns.Occasional hiccups are normal (fire alarms, etc.) when you live alongside so many other residents, but the property itself is maintained well. In regards to the living community, I have no complaints!
Packages get stolen a lot. There is NO secure area for UPS or FedEx. It is a shame for a such nice apartment complex to not to think about these issues.Everett police told me they dont look for lost packages and it seems like happening a lot.
Cant sleep, fire alarm goes off at least once a month. Entire building needs to evaluate. This is on top of some jack fruit pulling it off 4 times a night. On a positive note, management is great, especially Chase.
Not sure about all the hate on these reviews, it seems like they may have had some issues that they addressed in the last 2 years, since Ive been here 1.5 now, Im really liking the space. All maintenance is done quickly and the guys are really nice. Front desk is always friendly and helpful. Convenient amazon box for deliveries (was really useful during covid). Rent is/was by far the cheapest for anything comparable in the area and the apartments are big with high ceilings.
Weve been here about 2 years now. Maintenance is quick and building management is easily accessible. Ive seen mention of the fire alarms. My husband I hate them, and theyve gone off every 3-5 months, which Im not sure if its alot since we lived in a house up until now. However a few weeks ago there was a homeless person going around to multiple buildings in Everett and pulling the fire alarms to get inside for warmth apparently (talked to the police and fire chief about this, since we were ready to move after it happened 4x in a night and then again the next day).
Worst management, worst housing, no security, no proper maintenance... not worth of staying here... I was staying here for about 9 months now... The maintenance is so poor, I had complained for the replacement of my cooktop when I joined the apartment, till date no one showed up upon multiple complaints. None of the cameras work in any part of the apartment, management is not available for help at any point of time, the packages always keep missing have to contact the seller for other alternatives.Garage doors are also left unlocked.Today I had one more worst experience... I brought a new car 2 months ago, parked it in the garage parking paying 75$ per month, parked as usual and today in the morning when am about to start to office all my 4 tires of the car were missing and are stolen, called cops and reported a case... likely there was a camera right in front of my car .. when I met the management to talk about the loss and to look at the camera footage, they said the cameras aren’t working, also they were so rude saying they aren’t responsible for any type security here in the apartment and the amount that is paid is just to reverse a parking spot... when asked about the security of the apartment, they said they aren’t responsible for anything. I have never seen such an irresponsible management with such negligence, reckless and diligence.
The building is fine. Not the best quality but the rent is low compared to other complexes so Im fine with it.However, the management is a joke! 1. We have been here for 2.5 years. Recently we discovered that we are paying $100 monthly parking fee (for over a year now) for a free parking spot!2. The garage is open to everyone, so expect strangers to park under your window smoke and play very loud music any time of the day/night! We called the police so many times, that even the police said this is the management fault. When we brought this up with the management (to fix the garage door so random people dont come in) they said they cannot and will not do anything about this.Still the most affordable option for us!
I have been living comfortably in this building. Im in Boston in 10 minutes . Rent price is decent for what others charge and in relation to the size of the apartment. Mine is a corner unit so it is rather large and gets amazing natural light and a view of both the city and the New England view. But every year they raise your rent by a LOT so it gets unaffordable pretty fast. The office management is great, they always answer quickly and fix all your problems. The community is a whole other story, people love leaving trash and the fire alarm goes off very often which is super annoying. Another feature I love is the spacious bathrooms and the affordable storage units (mine is within steps of my door). My electricity bill was ridiculously high at the beginning but they fixed it and it got better when they installed the NEST so its now decent but the water bill I do feel its high ($75-80) every month (only two adults living here). The maintenance team is also great!
While management, the maintenance team, and the apartment themselves are great, the fire alarm goes off way too many times. Unfortunately, I am thinking about moving because of the fire alarm situation - really dont want to wake up terrified at 4 am.
I’ve been living here for almost a year now and am sad to say that it has not been a smooth year. The building is nice, the apartment is nice, the space is great. But I have run into multiple unpleasant issues in my time here so far. Here’s a quick list:1. The folks who live here are not respectful, for example I was in the elevator walked out the door to head to my car and there was a pile of dog poop right as you step out, I am still not sure how I did not get my foot covered in it, lucky day I guess.2. Elevator was not working for about 2 weeks at one point which was super inconvenient so I had to walk 4 flights of stairs since I’m on the 4th floor that was fun.3. Staff do nothing to actually help tenants when there is an issue and provide literally no other option to resolve most issues. For example, I had 4 consecutive packages get stolen in a row (clearly being targeted here) when I shared my concerns to 2 different staffs the response I got was “There’s nothing we can do about the packages,” “Try coming downstairs and picking it up as soon as you get notified of delivery.” Yeah sure I don’t have a full time job or anything....4. Apparently there aren’t cameras in places there should be cameras, like in the package area or some places in the garage lot.5. Oh the lovely fire alarms... goes off ALL THE TIME at multiple times a day even. Yesterday for example, it went off 4 times in one day, one at 6pm, one around 9pm, then at like 2am, and then at 4am. SICK!6. When I first moved in I asked about the walls and hearing your neighbor next door, I was told it was sound proof (can’t remember the term the staff used to describe it) but not true, I can literally hear my neighbors conversations when he’s on the phone, awesome.7. Garage doors work when they feel like it sometimes. The best part is that you get to pay an extra $100 dollars a month for a spot where the remote they give you is MEGA delayed and you nearly have to crash your car into the door and press the button for it to open... that’s how close you have to get to the garage door for the remote to understand to open...8. Some nights a bunch of kids (during summer or warmer nights mainly) like to gather outside the parking lot and play loud music and hang out there. Usually around 1am which is so fun, I love waking up at 1am to music blasting, who needs an alarm!9. No cameras in the hallways which I think is super important. I had an incident with a tenant who knocked at my door and screamed in my face saying “Are you f***** jumping,” got super physical with my fiancé it was just a super bad interaction. Again cameras would have been ideal for this incident. All in all for the price you pay it’s not worth the value. Issues are super consistent and management does close to nothing about them. It would only be worth the hassle of all these issues if the price of living here were lower.
People are leaving all these negative comments about how poor the maintenance is and the management is bad. That is false. Yea there is problems with garage doors, and that is because there are cars coming in and out 24/7. Its a machine, machines need constant upkeep. But majority of the problems are with residents. With some people not picking up dog poop, dropped food, broken glass bottles. People have thrown up on walk ways and left it there. Maintenance job is to maintain the building and units not be peoples servants. If there is an issue send an email they will get back to you in time. And or go to the office Drew and Chase will be there to help. Or find Tom or Jamie and they will make sure it gets done. Ive lived here for three almost four years and enjoyed living here.
This is low quality and unprofessionally managed apartment complex you can find in the Everett area. Its team is not friendly and they are the best to make your life difficult. The design and maintenance are also weak that you feel like you are entering a basement complex. The amenities are low quality and less convenient compared to other apartment complexes around. Having stayed at 2 different apartment complexes in the past, this one has opened my eyes to move away from apartment complexes. I definitely do not recommend it if you want a little bit closer to the standards!
Ive lived in Wellington Parkside now for about six months after being a homeowner for 40+ years. It has been an absolutely positive experience. It starts with the management. Chase, Solomon and Vinay. They are so professional, reliable, courteous, and just plain friendly. They handle the leasing and business side, as well as the day to day operations. One thing I really appreciate is that they are routinely walking the building, checking on things, delivering laundry and over sized packages to a locked storeroom and many other things. They dont isolate themselves behind a desk, so they have a feel for whats going on in the building and what may need any attention. Their office is also staffed seven days/week. I only had need for maintenance once, for a minor item. It was done the same day and very professionally. Maintenance also handles trash daily and keeps the halls and stairwells clean. The amenities Ive used are handled well also. Laundry pick up and delivery, mail and package delivery to locked boxes for small items, and a storeroom for larger ones, a free shuttle to the T station, all are provided without concerns. The gym is well equipped and has always been clean.Ive recommended a friend here without reservation, and would again. FMC
Not worth the price. Traffic is horrible and will only get worse with the Casino. Getting to and from the train station is difficult with traffic and construction. Heating and air conditioning runs constantly and it sounds like youre inside your neighbors apartments. Gym equipment is constantly unavailable and broke. Garage doors are left open and frequently broken for people that dont want to pay which is nice for them. Garage is a hangout for kids to play and party due to it being left open and having open sides that they climb over. Garage doors are also left unlocked. Trash is left in the hallway and piles up in the garage. Some people pay no money for parking and others pay $100. Maintenance requests are ignored and constantly needed throughout the property. Loud planes fly low and directly over the building.
We lived here for two years. Living here was okay, but the problems came on checkout. We were the first tenants in our unit, so obviously the place, including the carpet, will have some normal wear and tear.Per the apartments request (and ours), we did a walk through with the maintenance guy after clearing our stuff out. We did some cosmetic damage to one of the walls (which we were ready and willing to pay for), but in regard to the carpet, he said yeah, this looks fine. No issues. One month after move out, we get a bill for carpet replacement and the apartment claimed we tried to clean the carpet but had to replace the whole thing. If the maintenance guy had PROPERLY checked us out (isnt that the point of this walk through??) and flagged the couple of spots on the carpet (from, I dont know, just LIVING in one place for two years), we would have spent $50 or less to clean it ourselves, instead of now being charged hundreds of dollars for replacement. Also, the Conservice utility company they use charged us over $40 dollars in vacant fees since we moved out a month early...so be careful there.Moral of the story, take pictures of EVERYTHING, dont take the maintenance peoples verbal word that everything looks okay, and spend to $50 to clean the carpet yourself. Otherwise, youll regret it like we did.
Modern apartment units, maintenance team is on point for any repairs needed / light bulb replacement, usually done within 24 hours. Drew, Allison and all the leasing/ management team are very helpful.Great location (on the community trail for walking/ running/ biking, walkable to two breweries, a distillery, and a pub, commuting shuttle/ short drive to the T, Target, Wegmans/ Stop and Shop.
Walking distance to some great night life (two breweries, a distillery, and a pub/bar), short driving distance to the T, Target, Wegmans, and plenty of other stuff. Both Boston proper and Rt. 1 are only 10-15 minutes away. The apartment itself is modern and the only thing weve needed fixed in two years is a light bulb or two and those have been taken care of within 24 hours. The maintenance crew, trash crew, and office staff have been nothing but courteous and have gone out of their way to make us feel comfortable here.If you have a car you really cant do better than this place. And even if you dont there is a free daily shuttle to the orange line that leaves right from the door!
Lived here for a year. When I moved in the stove and oven did not work. Some outlets did not work. All were fixed after several requests except for one outlet. In addition, the washer would trip the breaker when the living room light was on (took some trial and error to figure this out) and maintenance did not fix. Did I mention I was the first tenant in this apartment?I wanted to do month-to-month after the first year and management said I could if it doesnt get rented out and theyll let me know. 4 days before the end of the month I reached out and asked about the month-to-month and they informed me that they rented out my apartment. There was no communication from management before this. No outreach at all. Management did not help with seeking out other apartments to rent...they then informed me that they dont do month-to-moth and they misspoke when they let me know that a few months before. Again, no communication to correct their error.Besides the miscommunication the walls are very thin and now trash pick up is at your door in the evening, so the hallways smell like trash all day long. Parking spots are a hit or miss depending on when you arrive. And careful using the gym, you may contract ringworm like my friend. Bring Clorox wipes with you. Nice looking places, but shoddy construction and overpriced.
Terrible place- messed up lease and not helpful. So frustrating- especially when you look to a place to be safe and secure. It creates huge amounts of stress trying to now secure a safe place to live.High pressure sleazy sales- used shame and blame to try to get renew lease, after upping rent by $300. “It’s cheaper to stay than move”. Nope.Research has been done- not a fan of this game. Search elsewhere!
Cant walk to anything from here. Bus station next door makes noise all night. Staff is very inattentive (maintenance guys are great tho).
If I could give negative stars, this company would be in deep trouble. Thanks a lot, Wellington Parkside, for a name as pretentious as your apartments are ugly. These people not only refuse to answer any scheduled calls, but also do not show up to pre-arranged meetings. Is that how a property management company should run? If you can’t get your stuff together enough to hook in a new client, can you fix my broken heat pump before I die of frostbite? Yeah, I guess my time isn’t worth anything to you. Well I’m glad I learned that before I rented from you. Also, when I went to look at your apartment grounds (by myself since you were nowhere to be found) I had to constantly dodge pile of dog doo. Great job keeping up the grounds.
Leasing staff is phenomenal and youll be hard pressed to find units as affordable and spacious as these, especially when you factor in their proximity to Boston, Assembly Row, and Revere Beach.
Facility is new/clean and management company is too good. online portal for any report of issue and is resolved within hours.
Millennial central. Nice building. Bad location, lots of scum in area. Lots of accept all types in building. Too bad.
New apartment buildings. Easy access and plentiful parking.
The maintenance guys are super nice and friendly!! They are down to help or fix any issues!!
Facility is very clean and new. Plus there is plenty of parking for visitors
Terrible management i wont recommend this apt .
Do you guys have any 3 bedrooms
Too expensive and why would they only have two bedrooms they should go up to 3 or 4 then more people would want to live there
Walking biking path
Love it
Nice and quiet placeThe assistant manager was very helpful but there were mistakes but the housing manager was new and unhelpfulCaution Please be careful in dealing and do not sign any contract only and be understanding because there are errors and may condemn you later
