Millington has been a very pleasant place to live. all the girls in the office are fun, sweet, and helpful when we go in, and the maintenance staff is always prompt and resourceful if something goes wrong in the apartment. the walls are thick enough that we almost never hear anything from our neighbors, and the property is quiet overall. it feels very safe— i never feel nervous walking alone, even at night. the apartments are spacious, clean, and cute— great for hosting! we are very happy and plan to continue leasing.

Almost going on 4 years here at the Millington and I can’t think of a better place to live. The staff here always show excellent professionalism and are there to help you with whatever you need. The grounds are always kept in tiptop shape from winter, spring, summer and fall. One thing that I truly love about the Millington is how respectful and friendly the neighbors are and quiet it is at all times. The amenities that come with living here are amazing! From a private little dog park to a clean and updated gym this place has it all. Summer time is my favorite time because my 4 year old daughter and I love to swim in the pool on hot days to cool down after a long day.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. THERE ARE ROACHES EVERYWHERE. I used to lived here with my boyfriend and did not have any issues, so I recommended this place the my mom whos in the process of selling her house. Her apartment was not ready on move in date and so far, management has been completely unhelpful. Not only that, there are roaches! Weve been contacting them all week and so far no support. The dishwasher leaks, the washer and dryer smells like mold, and there are roaches everywhere. I am so sadden that I recommended this place to my mom and I do not wish this situation on anyone else. Management is flippant and completely unsympathetic. Ive lived in Washington all my life and have never seen roaches until now. Completely disgusting.

I will keep it simple. If you are looking in the Everett/Mukilteo are choose this place.STAFF - The staff was awesome. They were always super nice and helpful. I felt like they actually knew each person by name. Even my family and friend commented on how nice the staff was.GROUNDS - For an apartment the landscape was very well kept. The dog park is on its last leg, but we used it regularly in the summer and fall. It does need some repairs, but at the EOD it works fine. Its still a fenced area to play fetch at the very least.POOL/HOT TUB - They were great when COVID wasnt a thing. We were very happy and would have stayed another year if we didnt buy a house.

My girlfriend and I have lived here for almost a year now and we absolutely adore the apartment complex. The buildings exteriors all have beautiful finish and paint and have a very modern look. The interior followed suit with high ceilings, crown moldings, brand new cabinets, and flawlessly functioning appliances. I know we personally love the hot tub and use it almost every night, there is also a sauna available for use. The private decks and huge outside storage closets are definitely a nice perk as well!I have never seen any sketchy people walking around at night nor have I ever heard of any robberies or car break-ins. Being only a couple miles from Casino road, we were a bit weary at first, but we have never seen or heard anything that has made us question our safety as of yet. While the actual apartments and surrounding community are great, the management is what really has stood out for us. Both Sydney and Hannah were more than helpful and friendly during our move-in process as well as throughout our year living here. They are always more than happy to help with packages, returns, rent issues, and any other random issues that arise. The only negative comment I can think of for these apartments is that if you get home after 7:00pm there are very rarely uncovered (you have to pay for covered) spots available to park in. There is a street right outside of the complex that you can park on in this case. I have never seen any safety concerns on this street either.Overall, if you are looking for a quite, enjoyable apartment complex that is in the Everett area without the safety or crime concerns of Casino Road, this is your place to live!

This property is managed by Cirrus asset management. They have a move out scam! Check the reviews! They will say there either by section 8 or evicted people. That is not true! I gave notice, I cleaned the apartment spotless with the exception of the carpet and walls. The carpet was used when I moved in and the paint was listed as good. I lived there over 7 years! I have 250 photos of my spotless apartment and a move out sheet that Taylor put *Needs Complete cleaning on Everything! I will post! Take pictures and have witnesses! I sincerely hope that this does not happen, but sadly it has happened to a lot of people who doesnt know how to defend themselves or get proper counsel. I know my rights and responsibilities so I will/and taking them to court.

Apartments are the best option in the area, nothing special, especially if you are moving from any place that Is not Everett. The parking is as scarce as downtown, but in Everett. The ladies in the office are just basic. My issue came at move out like many others. Amid a pandemic, they seized the opportunity to charge me more than $1400 for 3 days occupancy into January (impossible considering my flight was 12/30) and miscellaneous cleanings. I understand you will pay for carpet cleaning and maybe a local maid service, but its laughable to think I lived in such filthy quarters. They know it took 10 minutes to clean my apartment.I am at fault for not giving notice, but given the current environment where rents are harder to collect, people are without jobs, and families are impacted by COVID you would think the staff would have some human decency. I was laid off but not once missed rent.At least the courtesy of a phone call. You know you are foul when you avoid human interaction and simply forward a statement balance.

The maintenance team is responsive and professional, and always able to fix whatever issue is at hand. The team here is wonderful! The only thing that kept this review from 5 stars is the fact that the apartments are far nicer in appearance on the inside than the outside. The outside of the buildings are presentable, however I wish the company who owns this complex would pay more - or any - attention to the upkeep and cleanliness of the stairwells and outdoor hallways leading to the doors of the units. You would never know what a nice place this is by just approaching the units. The stairwells and concrete are not kept up and are very dirty. If as much attention were paid to these areas as the landscaping it would be a lot easier for me to refer people to live here.

So about 2 weeks ago, after finishing my one year lease, I moved out of this apartment complex and closer to my work in Seattle. I never really thought of doing reviews for places unless I had been seriously disappointed and felt cheated... well, this place did both to me. However, I think it’s only fair to give pros as well as cons to any review you do. So let me start with the pros... clean, cute and woodsy complex, nice staff, pretty landscaping, close to Boeing and coffee joint (Red Door Coffee Roasters..😍😍)... nice and updated appliances in units..And now for the cons... thin walls (you can hear everything, people snoring in the building next to you, peoples music and stomping around above you, dogs barking whenever they hear any little sound, toilet flushing.., the security was terrible which I was told about my first day there by a resident who said all the security does is sits in his truck until he gets a call which is probably true being that I didn’t see security once in the whole time I lived there, people kept parking in my assigned parking spot and when I called the number to get them towed, it took almost 2 hours to get them out there which by that time, the car was gone and my car was parked far away because what little guest parking they have, was full...But what did it for me to create this review was what happened after I moved out. Let me start by saying I am a clean freak and every apartment I have moved out of in the past, I’ve gotten my full refund back minus the carpet shampooing fee which is fine even though I do own my own shampooer but apparently, you have to get professionally done with a receipt, I had scheduled their apartment inspector to meet me on the day I went there to clean it... he never showed... so I just started without him and it took me well over 4 hours to clean a 1 bedroom, not because it was dirty but because when you move out, they want EVERYTHING WIPED DOWN AND SANITIZED... which is something I’m good at. Bleach and all..today, I got my deposit back... and wow, was I shocked at how low it was. They charged me for a full paint job and said because the walls had candle damage... what!?!? I lit candles once in awhile but never near a wall... And then they charged me an apartment cleaning sanitization fee of $75... um... excuse me but apparently 4 hours of sanitizing with bleach wasn’t enough? I left that place reeking of bleach. What did they have to sanitize? But really what gets me is how I purposely wanted an inspector to be there to make sure I covered everything they’d be looking for and he never showed up?! So now, I’m apparently at fault for it. Thanks Millington for not only ripping me off with your ridiculously high price rates but for also cheating me from a deposit that should have been higher than it was. So yea, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this apartment complex.

I consider myself kind, and respectful to others. I like living here and disregarded some things (eye opening annual rent increases, hallways are never cleaned, and one person on the staff that I just learned to avoid) because I was just lucky to have a job and be able to retire with Boeing. Sydney was very helpful in the leasing process and tour.UPDATEI like to give credit when deserved. Thats why I rated the this place five stars before. Moving out was a different experience. All I say is if you are renting please take as many pictures and evidence as possible. Do the same before you move out. Or you will learn the hard way just like I did. I was very disappointed and regret that I trusted them. I asked them to call me if they find anything wrong during inspection. They didnt call me, so I thought it passed the inspection, everything was ok. However, after I moved out of state I got a bill on the mail. All the deposit pilus $500.I agree with some of the reviewer on here who said they felt they were scammed. So my advice is, take as many pictures and videos as possible when you move in and move out.

Mediocre, Staff is eager to cut corners where ever possible. For the good: This place is fairly quiet. I seldom hear my neighbors, which I think can be attributed to them being courteous and not making a lot of noise, I am still able to hear loud sounds & yelling from time to time, but this is not frequent. The landscaping is very nice, and there isnt much dog crap on the lawns compared to other places I have lived. The bad: First is the price. The price when I started renting was reasonable compared to other places, but they raise it ~20% when you renew your lease. Month to month rates are incredibly high, almost 2x the lease rate. Unlike every other apartment I have lived in, they are totally unwilling to negotiate their rates.Second is parking. Unless you have a garage, tenants do not get any assigned spots, and there are intentionally nowhere near enough free spots available. They do have plenty of covered spots, which are available for an unreasonable amount of money. This results in absolutely no free parking after about 8PM everyday. It is so bad that tenants will race around the lot trying to beat each other to a free spot when someone leaves.Third is the build quality of the buildings. This is touted as a luxury apartment, and on the outside, it looks the part. Despite this, the interior still has the cheapest possible appliances and cabinets money can buy, like any other apartment. The building I live in is noticeably not square. The exterior doors and windows do not close/seal properly. Pretty pitiful for something that was built merely 10 years ago. They do have (cheap) crown molding lining the ceiling though, maybe that is why it is luxury?Partway through my lease, a contractor was brought in to upgrade certain aspects of the units. They did what most would describe as a cut rate job, and performed work that they were obviously not qualified to do.This is an apartment for people moving here from out of town to work at Boeing. Anywhere else, this place would command mayyyybe $1000 a month for a one bedroom unit.

This place used to be the best in Everett but high prices in Seattle sent rats fleeing the overpriced real estate and packing in to these apartments with a bunch of low income roommates rather than a bunch of Boeing contract engineers that work all ours of the day. It is not non smoking so if you dont smoke, you will be dealing with that. The units are decent but built a with poor craftsmanship. Rooms are note square, bathtub creaks under foot. Wort of all, after getting laid off and moving out to seek work, they tried to charge just shy of $6,000 for 3 months rent and carpet replacement even though they told us we would not by liable for carpet after 12 months. 18 months later, the cheapest white carpet in the word needs replacing and we have to pay over $1,300 for that.

Lived there two years. extremely loud maintenance done early to wake you up after you struggle to get to sleep because your neighbors are snoring or using the toilet. thats right, thin walls/ceiling. the quality of the apartment is pedestrian with bottom line appliances and carpet. the best thing in these places are the ceiling fans. that I would give 4 stars, but if you like quiet and comfortable living, i would look somewhere else. beware of the move out charges, they are criminal and fraudulent in the quest. if you want to extend your lease there, be aware of the price gauging and reluctant offers. if you apply for a resident referral bonus, make sure you follow up on it, the stiffed my friend there 300 dollars back 2 years ago. off to small claims court I go.

Keep looking elsewhere. The apartments generally look nice and are well laid out, but if I had known some of these things before moving in, I would have chosen to live elsewhere. There is never available parking after about 7:30 pm. They covered a significant portion of available parking in order to charge for the option of covered parking, and all covered spaces are reserved. If you get home after 7:30 pm, you will circle the lot for 20 minutes, see countless covered spots available, and no other parking options. You will then have to park on the street somewhere nearby and walk home. The lease says parking is not guaranteed, and they mean it.The bathtub is a cheap tub-fitter that makes loud cracking noises when you stand or sit in it. You cant shift your weight in the shower without loud groaning and creaking, even for a small person. The staff likes to impose arbitrary rules that are not in the lease - such as you cannot use any appliances after 10:00 pm. When I asked why this was so, the staff put me on hold for 10 minutes, and then came up with the reason that it violates the city of Everett quiet hours. Please, show me a law that says my dishwasher is a nighttime nuisance. At best, the city of Everett does have quiet hours that restrict the noise emanating from your home above a certain decibel level. But, not a single appliance in the apartment reaches that level even if the decibel meter is on top of the appliance itself -there is no way the noise outside the apartment reaches a prohibited level.I heard from other previous tenants and also witnessed myself that they charge move-out fees that are not in the lease. I dont care you who are or how clean you are, they will keep your security deposit and bill you for more. For example, our bill included almost $100 in fees for nothing more than touching up paint and sanitation - fees that were not detailed in the lease. Residential leases by law are supposed to allow for normal wear and tear. We cleaned thoroughly, scrubbing the already-clean appliances and surfaces for good measure, and did not leave remarkable holes or scuff marks in any paint. The fees are unsupported and against the laws allowing for normal wear and tear.If you decide to live here, consider your security deposit non-refundable. As mentioned in reviews below, I have also never heard of it being returned to anyone, and have only heard of people being billed in addition to losing it.

Pros:The apartment buildings themselves are mostly durably built and the floor plans are very well laid out. I almost never heard my neighbors to the sides, however I occasionally heard the neighbor above me. There is a dog park that is populated by very nice well trained dogs and owners. The maintenance staff is very nice and considerate. Good location for working at Boeing. Attractive landscaping. Concierge service for packages.Cons:There is no available parking late at night. About half of the parking is free use and the other half is reserved under overhangs. There is no guaranteed parking and way too much reserved parking considering the number of apartments. Management knows there isnt enough and is extremely unsympathetic, its just a blatant cash grab. Late at night you will end up parking in the neighborhood nearby. The entire place occasionally smells like soup from the Campbells plant across the road (not always a con). The management here will overcharge you on you move out fees. They will charge you the max carpet cleaning cost regardless of how well maintained your carpet is. I dont know of anyone who moved out of here and got any of their security deposit back or wasnt charged for carpet cleaning. They will also charge you for all sorts of stupid things that should be included in normal wear and tear for an apartment. They also switched out last month of utilities to a day by day charging rate for no reason. Finally they almost always increase the price of there rent year over year, so dont expect to be able to afford this place for long. Additionally if you have any issues with you neighbors expect management to be useless and just follow the letter of the rules. They also impose rules that have no basis in the lease or in law, such as no using appliances after 10:00 p.m.While the dog park is extremely nice to have, it has not been maintained in a while, and it turns into a swamp at the slightest sign of rain, and one of the gates barely stays close. Preventative maintenance is clearly not a priority here. Also the bathtubs are cheap inserts or something. They make a lot of creaking noises when you stand in them and you will be able to hear your neighbor above you in the shower. Conclusion:Basically dont expect an intelligent response or quick action from the cheap management, and you wont get your security deposit back.

The only negative thing I would say is that the walls arent very insulated and we can hear our neighbors TV and base almos every evening. We can also hear in the morning the closing of doors and drawers. We live on the top floor so the noise is minimal. I cant speak for the lower floors, however you cant pick your neighbors and thats just apartment living. Yadi was our leasing professional upon visiting and she was great! I gave it two stars because this place has a few good things… but they don’t make up for the experience living here. Yeah, they look like nice places to live, but once you’ve lived there, the prices aren’t worth it. I usually don’t write bad reviews for things and I generally go with the flow of things but this place just doesn’t seem to have their act together and I’m incredibly disappointed in the lack of action they’ve showed.Firstly, Id like to start off with management being a joke. They are about has helpful as a rock when it comes to tenant issues. Very snobby.I had lived in the building for about a week when I went to their dog park to see a dog (Akita) from THEIR restricted breeds list playing in the park... Long story short, this person’s dog ended up attacking mine (shocking) and leaving me stuck with a $400.00+ vet bill. When my boyfriend had confronted the owner of the dog after the situation, she had threatened to have her dog attack him as well as screaming racial profanity at him, she was so loud that residents from across the lot could hear. So, obviously, I report the incident and, what does the management team do about the situation? Absolutely nothing, I sent them pictures of the owners, of the dog, and the stitches my dog ended up with. I even told them the building I knew they lived in.Clearly they dont enforce their pet policy or parts of the lease where it says, “If a pet becomes a problem in our sole opinion, we reserve the right to require the pet be removed from the property.” OR “You and your occupants or guests may not engage in the following… engaging in or threatening violence” Weird.Considering the animal was not only a restricted breed, but also aggressive, you’d think the property would’ve held the tenants accountable to the lease as well as the tenants being completely white trash people who were clearly in violation.Had this person’s dog bitten a child, I’d certainly hope they’d put a little more care into the situation!I wish I could say that that was the only issue with this property but let me go on,-The apartment was NOT very clean when we moved in. there was toenail clippings all over one of the bathrooms. GROSS!!! The other bathroom’s tub had a weird film on it as well.-Parking does suck after 7:00 there is NOWHERE to park. And street parking is not accessible unless you want to walk a pretty good distance-If you visit their dog park, its only maintained in the summertime. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy endless amounts of mud and giant holes your dog may injure themselves in.-The neighbors above me apparently work for the property and have a child that they must let jump on and off the bed or run up and down the hallway as loud as humanly possible or something. Basically, I’ve been startled awake by stomping and running upstairs every single day. It’s literally like a heard of elephants lived above me-Their toilets/piping is terrible. If you flush the toilet, expect to flush it 2 or 3 times. Otherwise your toilets get disgustingly dirty in a day-The bathtub makes this horrendous squeaking noise everywhere you step on it. It’s not insulated very well, so I can only imagine what it sounds like to the person below.-If you live close to the hot tub, you’ll hear people down there past closing time getting drunk, playing music, and being extremely loud. After talking to many of other residents who live in the property, they share the same frustration as myself. Residents are already paying an obscene amount of rent; you’d think the property would live up to what you’re paying for. And I just want to say, I get it. They probably deal with horrendous people a good chunk of the time, I work in property management myself. However, it doesn’t excuse their poor management and treatment of actual “good” tenants. They just don’t do their job very well.

BEWARE when you rent to this Apartment. They will charge you big time when you move out. They charge us 800+. We can understand for the carpet cleaning and sanitation charge. But because of the replacement of entire counter top because of the small yellow stain that they charge us 600+ just for that stain. Basically theyre using that to replace the entire countertop its ridiculous!!! Let me share our experience. When we move in to the apartment, the apartment was dusty, dirty and blind was nasty. We told the black girl who work there about our complain and she said she will send the cleaning person but nobody come, so we clean up by our selves. They had the pre move in checklist provide and I admit its our fault that we forgot to write anything on it. because we were too busy moving in and we regret it. For people who wants to live/stay this apartment be aware that they charge you way too much and as much as you can give time to write in the move in checklist they provide as smallest thing you can see inside the apartmsnt before you keep busy of moving in. And during our stays there they have too much disturbance to do stuff inside our apartment so we have to vacate not just once but so many times. Why didnt do those stuff during or at times that nobody renting there yet. Its was annoying. Dont get fooled by the model room/apartment theyre showing because in realty its way too far! Its the opposite! I hope you guys wont experience of what we had experience. Goodluck or better yet find some other apartment that has better service and all.

I lived there for 1 year and after they hiked the rent 20% I decided to leave. With that aside, I just wanted to share my experience at Millington at Merrill Creek. The grounds were well keep and inviting but I was soon to be fooled by their cover. I have never had such a bad experience at any other rental facility. First of all, I paid over $3,700.00 dollars to move into my apartment with over $1,800.00 in security deposits and pet cleaning deposits. My lease was Oct. 1st 2015 but had to stay an additional month until my new place was made ready. It was either sign a new lease at a 20% hike or pay $1,975.00 for an additional month. I definitely didnt want to sign another lease from people I knew were gouging me so I stayed through Nov. 2015. Since I put down such a large deposit I felt confident that I would receive the majority of it 2 weeks after my move out. Chealsea, the manager at Millington, said I would be returned only $267.00 of my entire deposit at the time of my move out. I have heard from other renters that they have known others that have had the same experience with Millington. I vacuumed 2 to 3 times a week and cleaned the carpets at the end of my lease and the carpet was fine. Chealsea informed me that their carpet professional said there was too much pet dander to deal with.Could possibly be a kick back??? I wonder and would not put it past them. I felt like they stole from me and must admit I had anticipated this happening. I see another renter from Millington had a similar experience. Please, if you are considering renting from this place learn from my experience. read your contract. They are pushing the liability on to the renters and they are making lots of money on us by doing so. Stay away from these guys as I know even on a personal level they are not to be trusted.I will close by leaving a list of my other experiences.- Upgrades to the apartments were cheap, tasteless and very dark, Walk on the vinyl floor in your bare feet and youll see what I mean. Look at the caulking job in the bathrooms, kitchen and on the millwork.- Breezeways were never cleaned the entire year I lived there.- There is a fence post along the walk trail that is so loose that if anyone ever needed it to gain balance or simply lean up on they could fall approximately 20 feet. I informed the manager twice about this fence post and the last day I was there I walked my dog and the fence post was still not fixed.- The dog park is always filled with dog poo as the maintenance crew doesnt visit that area. Very stinky.- Beware of the hidden fees. They are in the contract and I promise you they will use them as they did on me. They have no tolerance with people who go through a rough month and are 10 days late on rent. I was charged almost a full months rent in late fees for the one month I was late. I was hit by a car and was out of work and until my L&I claim paid I was unable to pay rent and a few other bills. They show NO compassion and NO understanding. These are a few complaints/concerns from my long list. Ill post more soon.

Too expensive, bad management, terrible parking and beware of extra charges after lease ending. Management expects the apartment to be in ready to move in state for another tenant right after your lease ends. Resident has to pay for regular wear and tear as well. I wish I could give no star.

The management is extremely rude and impossible to deal with. Had a very bad experience before even moving in. Beware of the charges they are outrageous before even you sign an official lease.
