I recently (July 2021) had my first haircut by Derick and his work was superb. With great attention to detail, he delivered a superior cut perfect for someone who works in a professional environment. Will be going back for sure.

Friend recommended me to derik, payed 50$ for the cut and tbh it wasn’t worth the price and I feel like he rushed my cut and didn’t blend one side of fade that great. My hair grew out like an apple. Maybe I’m used to getting high quality cuts for paying a higher price. Not sure. I won’t be back though. Also I was not late l, showed up 15 min early

James cut my 11 year old son’s haircut and I must say this is the best haircut ever. I’ve taken my son to numerous places and they ALL butchered his hair. I am amazed at how my sons hair turned out. Worth the money! I highly recommend and will continue coming to them for my son’s haircut.

I called and made an appointment and James was very professional and polite over the phone got me in right away and took care of everything I asked for and came out with a very clean haircut. Derick made booking an appointment easy and the haircut was fast, but not rushed. He was very detail oriented and asked good questions that I did not know needed to be answered/asked, but the result was the best haircut I have had in years! I finally found a shop I actually want to keep on going to.

Great spot. After years of going to Cost-cutters, etc., I finally splurged on a real barbershop haircut at Game 7. It was definitely worth it. Cool atmosphere; best haircut Ive ever had.

Went in last night with shoulder length hair. I was there to chop it all, and James put in the work. He took his time and was very detail oriented. He was warm and welcoming and I could tell he was a very seasoned barber. The other gentlemen cutting hair also took their time, working with steady hands and making sure the customers were getting exactly what they wanted. The fade was a little bit tighter than I would have preferred, but it’s super clean and it’ll be my ideal length in about a week so it’s cool.

Great Atmosphere, Great People, and A GREAT haircut! Made me feel as if I been here multiple times. Felt welcomed and appreciated.. Only bad thing is having to leave such a cool barber shop. Will definitely be back to see Mr. James.

I have two little boys that I took with me and James was happy to accommodate them as well with TV and a basketball hoop set up in the shop. What an awesome experience. Game 7 is now my go-to barbershop. Ive been in 3 times now, and Ive had James cut my hair. Hes such a skilled barber, and he pays attention to detail. What used to be a 15 minute cut with other barbers is now more like 30-40. Jamess attention to detail is legit. Ive had my hair cut all over this town, and Im excited to have found James and Game 7!

They are very friendly, GREAT customer service. My 10 yr old son is shy, scared, and moves all over the place. James cut his hair 3 months ago took his time and gave him a great cut, so great that my son ASKED to go get his hair cut tonight. Great cut! A $30 haircut didnt make it to a month. Sorry not rich. Im use to paying $12 at NC for the same. Colorado springs does it for $15 for the same work.

The customer service is excellent! James and the other barber, whom I nicknamed Texas, welcomed me well. I explained what I wanted and showed Texas a photo. For what hair style I already had, he got as close to that as he could. He could have faded both sides of my head more similarly. One side was a bit more round than the other. I didnt mind in the shop but then people pointed it out. It was not that bad though. The main issue was that when he was fading my hair he would go in too rough when he didnt have a size on the clippers. He can definitely be waaaayyy softer when using his clippers and brushes. I would be willing to go back and just ask him to be more gentle. But it was $25 plus tip..just a tad too pricey. Over all would recomend.

My first time going but not meeting the owners. Theyre lovely, and lively. I recommend making a reservation cuz you could be waiting for a while doing a walk in. However, they have a game system so you can play games while you wait or you can watch TV. They a little area where you can do that as well. Very nice clean cuts. Yes the barbers are black, but they do have a caucasian one and hes just as good. The best haircut Ive had(Ive been to supercuts) they really are amazing at what they do. Not very expensive either.💯💯💯

Hate imposing on a mans sanctuary, so I avoid the barbershop every chance I get. But this is the dopest spot for the cuts and so chill that I don’t even feel out of place. My boys always walk out extra fresh.

Well I would have let this go but since Derick deleted my review on his booking site, I have no choice;Initially, my first appointment I overlooked that it overbooked and I waited 35 minutes, and the second appt I would have waited again had I not arrived when I did (which was early for my appointment).I also overlooked that he has a screaming baby in the shop, his other barbers child. Now here’s what’s consistent:-they do not have sinks, so rinsing or washing does not occur-there is NO STERILZATION done of their straight razors, and Derick will go person to person using the same razor, I got razor burn on my neck from this-Derick cuts corners like avoids detail work, or correcting errors to make up time and take the next person, he mirrors are higher than the chairs on the Work stations so you can’t see-Derick talked to other customers while he cuts so he is not focused on detail and this causes errors-they don’t accept visa/debit so you had to use their ATMI’ve reported Game7 to DORA.
