I was in desperate need of a nail 💅 tech. I knew I couldnt make it to my regular nail shop pressed for time. So I went to an old nail shop i used to go to they had a 45 minute wait. Theres no way I had that kind of time. I get on Google and search for nail shop 💅 and I look at the pictures to determine where I would go. I decided on Avalon and Google said it was 5 min away. I head over and was greeted by a lady (didnt know her name). She got me signed in and asked what I needed. I told her I wanted to change my dip powder to gel polish because I want a design. She proceeded to tell me that she could design on dip powder too and I was shocked 😲. She introduced herself as Vivian. Let me tell you she was patient and meticulous and I loved every minute of it. Im very particular about my nails and she did the best nail job Ive had in a long time. I WILL BE BACK TO SEE VIVIAN..... oh and thats my moms name too.Thanks again!

My husband and I come here often for manicures and pedicures! They always do a wonderful job! I also like to use Vivian when I want my acrylic nails filled bc she is wonderful at nail art & design. Highly recommend getting their best pedicure and manicure. You wont be let down!

A girlfriend of mine who is a regular customer of Vivian’s called yesterday afternoon because she broke one of her nails. She said she could be in just after 6, and was told that would be fine. After showing up as she said she would, she waited nearly 30 minutes before being seen because someone unfortunately spilled a bottle of nail polish. After finally being seen, she was greeted with huffing and puffing and groans because she was not going to get a fill with only 15 minutes before closing time. My friend knew she needed a fill, but in the essence of time and being a considerate customer, she was only going to have the one nail fixed until she had time over the weekend. She let the nail tech know this when she called earlier in the day, but suddenly it was a problem. Not only did the finished product of the fixed finger not even somewhat resemble the original set (color was not right and the shape of the nail wasn’t even right) but the nail tech kept slapping her hand aggressively and finally told her to get out. My girlfriend is literally one of the sweetest people on the planet, and to hear about her having such an awful experience is beyond disappointing. You have lost a customer in her, and potentially more in the future. Definitely do not recommend coming here.

I went to Avalon because my regular place (Palace Nail Bar) was closed when I needed an appointment. The price was reasonable. $35 for dip nails, $2 cheaper than Palace. The atmosphere is dark, somewhat creepy. I feel like the quality of the nail tech’s work left much to be desired. She did not follow all of the steps thoroughly like I’ve seen other nail salons do for the dip powder process. She was also really rough, using her jagged finger nail to push back my cuticles instead of a tool. It was painful! She cut two of my cuticles and made me bleed. One of my nails has black fuzz/glitter stuck in the topcoat, and most of them aren’t smooth but bubbled or bumpy. I wish I wouldn’t have wasted my $40 there.

I’ve been a loyal customer to Avalon for 5+ years. In return, they are loyal to me. I’m always treated with courtesy and respect, and they always do their best to meet my needs. They are fast (not too fast) and efficient in their work. The salon environment is super clean and comfortable. I don’t know what other salons charge, but I do know that Avalon is worth every penny of their rates. I’m happy to help support a small business such as this one.

My first time at this nail salon because it was right by my work and just needed to get a set taken off until I had time to go to my regular salon. I have been growing my nails out for months and they were very long and at every other salon I’ve been too they will use acetone to remove a set. Not here. She was forcefully ripping the set off with another nail tip, ripped my actual nails off down to the nail beds causing me to bleed. I winced multiple times and she kept going, only when she couldn’t get three of the nails off forcefully, she then used acetone. I left with my nails I had worked hard on gone and nail beds bleeding. My nails now look horrendous. NEVER going back and DO NOT recommend. I wish I could leave 0 stars!

After a horrible experience at a different nail salon, Someone at my church recommended that I come here to get my nails fixed. I walked in and the ladies were so kind. They shaped my nails perfectly and fixed what had been done. They didn’t even charge me for it! Tammy was fantastic!!! If you are looking to get your nails done, please come here. These ladies are top notch!

I loved coming to Avalon spa and having my nails done by Gideon. She was very nice and professional and I had a lot of fun having her do my Valentine’s Day nails!

The girls here are amazing and did an amazing job on all of our nails. I will be back for sure. It was a great way to relax and I got exactly what I wanted (which was a lot of detail). They did amazing on all three of us who came to see them.

After going to 5 different nail places I tried Avalon and to my surprise I was 100% satisfied. I walked out of there admiring my nails but came back 2 days later so the nail artist could put a design on them and she did a fantastic job. My partner will become a regular for both manis and pedis. What a great experience!

Was my first time visiting Avalon and had an amazing experience with an awesome pedicure special pedicure and nail art that looks better than the picture that I brought in. Honestly less than 1 star, I cant believe this happen to me. I go in for a Mani Pedi with my boyfriend who just got a pedi. Then the pedi was only about 5-10 minutes and did nothing that met the standards of a pedicure besides cutting nails & painting. Then as I go onto my mani, the lady had to redo my nails 3x!! Then as she says Im done I get into the car to see the paint is completely wiped off of 2 nails from her mess up. Then as I get home and take off my shoes another nail gets messed up. I asked for a refund and they said no because it was just polish & told me to come back later for a redo. Then I tell them I have no time for that and it was my birthday so I had scheduled plans for certain times. Decided to go back the next day, and they tell me to come back in a hour because they are busy. 60$ & 24 hours later and still no fixed nails!

Nail technician was rude and got upset when I asked about the color and wanted to change it. She was throwing things around when she went to get the bowl to dip my hands in to soak. After that I did not want my nails done. Got charged for pedicure that was ok and for messing up my natural nails after taking off the dip.

Very friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Love they set up sneeze guards at each station and were very cautious. First visit out and was a great experience.

During my pedicure I mentioned I need the dead skin exfoliation tool used on my heals, the technician ignored me. After my pedicure I pointed out I still had dead skin on my heals, the technician just nodded & smiled saying ahh huh. After 4 days the top layer on my color dip started peeling. I will never go here again.

Well her paint was not good all own here toes

Well, my fault for not looking at the reviews first. I went in for the $30 mani pedi and it was just bad. She very quickly did my toes, then put lotion on my legs and asked if I wanted a 10 minute massage for $10, I said no just the normal one is fine. Then she just rubbed the lotion into my legs and that was it! Not even a minute massage. Then when she got to my finger nails, she cut my middle finger. No hand massage whatsoever, not even lotion. Then the polish was put on THICK! It looks awful, and now I have to go somewhere else to get it taken off and a new color put on. So disappointed.

The lady rushed through my pedi and didn’t even soak my feet in warm water. The water was still pretty cold. They also charged my card twice. Never again will I be going back!

Dip chipped same day, and became like a spider web the next day. A week later, a whole chunk chipped off and almost all nails look cracked like a spider web.

Went in for a basic manicure and color change. I was there for well over hour. The first time they painted my nails the lady caked on the nail polish and you could tell it was old. Sat for 20 mins wasn’t drying. Then they offered me gel which I turned down and so she painted them with a new color and sat meUnder a light after 10 mins or so I asked how long I needed to wait. A lady came and said it could take a while you didn’t get gel.. I told her I was already there for well over a hour. She walked away and started talking about me. By this point I was done. I won’t be returning. I tried them once before and they were nice but the polish always looks sloppy.

We received gift cards to this place for Christmas, so we went to get pedicures. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I went with my mom, and I was seated first for my pedicure. I guess Ive gotten used to the awkward questions by now, but I am quite tired of always seeming to end up with the male employees who open by asking if Im married or have a boyfriend who takes good care of me.Since we had gift cards, we felt comfortable choosing the most expensive pedicure options. I got the chamomile pedicure ($50), which involves a 6 step spa kit. I liked the scent and I liked how soft my legs and feet were afterwards. However, the general foot care part of the pedicure left a lot to be desired. My big toe nails are crooked, they were filed incorrectly, if they got filed at all. The nail polish clumped together when he applied it, and he made no effort to try to fix it. I chose a fairly neutral color, so its not directly visible, but its still not a great feeling to know that someone might pay $50 for a pedicure that left my toes looking like they do now.I get a $22 pedicure in Bethany that doesnt smell like chamomile but still leaves my legs and feet soft and my toenails actually look good when I leave.I would not come here again. If thats how they treat a $50 service, I cant imagine what the $25 service looks like.

Took my husband on his birthday to get his 1st Pedi .. He enjoyed it and wondered why he waited so long to experience his feet being pampered ... He’s on his feet all day in all types of weather conditions and those pups need taken care of finally. Tammy was an EXCELLENT pedi tech .. She definitely soothed away all his tension with foot & calf massages on top of the impeccable service of the green tea treatment. I highly recommend her as your spa experience!

The nail techs are nice. However, the quality of the service when it comes to the actual manicure, TERRIBLE. First, the nail polish dried crinkly and part of my nail on four of my fingers didn’t even get painted. The second of the three nail techs that worked on my manicure was just in a hurry. I hate to complain, but I had already paid, so I asked if I could have them fixed. They started over, not any better the second time around.Don’t spend your money or time here.

I went in there yesterday they don’t like it when you tell them not to use the drills on your finger nails. So she was very rough my fingers are in severe pain this morning and tender to the touch I have cuts all around my cuticle area. When you’re in the service industry you cannot perform such poor service

The WORST place EVER to get a pedicure. The lady cut my toenails OFF completely!!! Didnt ask anything about what length I like to keep my nails. They looked like chewed off toenails. On top of that they were so crooked I asked for the file to try & fix it myself. She was too rough & made me bleed. And to top it off she broke my flip flops & tried to blame it on the shoe. Very unprofessional. Will NEVER go back!!!

I got my nails done here about 2 weeks ago and was very unpleased. I had to use a new salon because I moved locations and was trying to find one closer to my house. While the salon looks very nice and they have a lot of workers, they are trying too hard to get their customers out of there quickly. First off, I called to make an appointment and when I got there they had not written it down and so I still ended up waiting a while before they helped me. I get my nails done regularly and they typically last about 3 weeks. After getting them done here they did not even last a week. When I am paying as much as they charge, they should last! It was the first time I have ever gotten my nails done and felt like the nail artist did not know what she was doing.

Just had the absolute best pedicure here! They were polite, friendly, listened to my requests and did an amazing job! I strongly recommend this nail salon!

Context: I normally do my own gel nails using the Sensationail brand with massive success, the polish lasting 2 weeks before having to deal with grow out. I went last Wednesday afternoon. By Thursday morning one of the gemstones was gone and the gel polish on my right thumb had lifted/came off. By Saturday, my right ring finger nail broke and the gel peeled right up. By Sunday, all the edges were lifting and peeled right off in sheets. While I enjoyed the atmosphere of the salon, the nail tech didn’t heed my request to leave my nails long and filed them very short. After the first one, it would have looked odd to have one short and nine long. That was really frustrating. Then when she went to paint the gel, she didn’t use any bonder which is what adheres the gel to your nail, and is a must to ensure length of wear regardless of brand. Combined with the fact that she didn’t cap my nails with the polish, I knew instantly that it wasn’t going to last, and I wouldn’t be paying to have my nails done any more. When I can get 2+ weeks out of my $12 gel from Walmart and have my nails shaped to my exact preferred length and shape, I’ll choose at home every time. Essentially it was $35 for a gel manicure that lasted three days.

I have been here 3 times. The first 2 were just OK, and the last time wasnt even that, and I left bleeding! I had a mani-pedi and had 1 person working on my hands and another on my feet. My nails were soaking while I was getting my pedicure and I had to ASK for them to give me a towel for the bowl to sit on because water and acetone were spilling on me every time they moved. The woman doing my pedicure seemed to notice how uncomfortable I was and apologized but the woman doing my nails just kept going and shrugged her shoulders. She was also very harsh on my nails and although I was bleeding still painted and kept moving. I had tell her Im bleeding please put something on it, because she just pretended not to notice. When it was time to pay I was charged for the mani-pedi plus an additional $5 for the time she spent removing the dip from the time before. Although very disappointed I was polite and courteous, but will definitely not be revisiting.

Worst nail services I had in years. First thing when you get seated is being asked on all their additional services constantly. Secondly terrible job on mani or pedicures. The lady who did my service did not even take the time to soak my hands nor how to properly clean/cut cuticles. The polish looked horrible. Never again!!

We saw a sign out front that read manicure/pedicure $30, we both agreed to a 10 minute massage as well at $10 each making it a total of $80, unfortunately the staff member we encountered charged us $160 after explaining to us we agreed to all the extras. No no we were there a little over an hour and agreed to no such extras .she was rude, manipulative and hostile.I can go to plenty other pleasant places.This place is not the best. One of the worst.

I went for a gel manicure and had the absolute worst manicure. She soaked my nails for over 10min but didnt file the top coat so the soak didnt remove anything. Then she pulled out the drill and drilled the gel off and drilled into my nail making them paper thin. My pinky nails were splitting when she was finished and I have strong nails. She didnt file any of them straight across the ends and cut me when she clipped the cuticle. This was the least experienced tech Ive ever had. Ended up leaving without the gel because she was getting it on my cutilcles and it had taken so long to this point I had to cut my losses and go.

This place is HORRIBLE! They made me bleed twice, literally all my nails are uneven, a bunch of acrylic hardened is stuck under my nail, they didn’t put enough coats of polish, and the service was horrible! They offered to fix them but if you messed up that bad you obviously don’t know what you’re doing. I am disgusted with this place and I’m NEVER coming back!

The only reason Im giving this a one star is so I can give customers a warning not to be fooled by the special they are running for $30 for a manicure/pedicure. I am literally blown away at the service of this establishment. I go and telling them what I want, they dont even let me pick out my polish the lady cuts my toenails and start trimming my cuticles and I thought she was about to cut me. I partially feel at fault because I read the reviews and went there anyway because my normal salon had closed early and this was the only time I had to get my nails done this week. She literally cut my nails and butchered my cuticles. She got up to do something and when she came back I said I was done. I didnt want her touching my hands or feet. I am far from being one that complains but when you have somebody youre paying to work on your nails you expect good service. Not to be rushed and very rude. I was charged $20 for nothing. Count nails and do a literary half ass job cutting your cuticles. She told me all she had left to do was Polish and put polish on my feet. I was floored. Word of advice if you see a place offering a deal for $30 for a mani/pedi please get full detail of what all comes with that because it is a rip off. Lord only knows what they are speaking back and forth when I was telling them they didnt even remove any calluses On the sign it should read $30 for Manny Petty which detail is cut fingernails and toenails, half ass trim cuticles and lotion. Thats it. By far worst Nelsa lawn in Edmond Oklahoma City

I went in to get a full set and she cut my fingers in so many places while drilling and filing and got the glue all over my fingers.
