Went to see Mary. She fixed my at home double process hair. She toned it, conditioned and trimmed. Looks a lot better than before. Really nice salon and I was able to get in same day with her. Also decently priced. I’ll be going back for a facial next time!

If you would’ve asked me if I would’ve given this place five stars the first and second time I came here I would’ve said no. I decided to give this place a third shot with a different person. So glad I did! Jenna did such a good job on my hair! I kind of let her figure out what to do so we went with a balayage. It looks so good. She is fun to talk with and very professional.

Great atmosphere. Very professional and friendly service. I love that this Salon and Spa carries Aveda products. Attention to detail was given for both foot care portion as well as polish application. Great experience.

Got a haircut with Jenna which was great. My 6 year old came with me and ended up getting her nails painted while waiting for me. I didn’t find out until checking out that it cost $22 to get her nails painted. I was expecting $5 or $10 for a simple polish. It would have been nice to know we were going to be charged $22 for a polish.

I called to get a color correction. I was told that the stylist was the best in color. I am in tears my hair is falling out!!!! I told her that I currently bleached my hair. MY HAIR WAS INTACT WHEN I GOT THERE! She said she wouldnt. The color corrector she put on burnt my head she didnt even want to brush my hair because of the chunks falling out as I type this there is hair falling on my phone!!!! I cant stop crying and I really hope I can learn how to post a picture because it is very very bad! The color looked ok at first but I have pink blotchy spots and I think the girl was nice but I have never ever had someone damage my hair like this I will probly have to get a pixie cut! I want my money back. This is unacceptable and dangerous!!

Ok, this review is nothing against the solon. Ive been here on three other separate occasions and I have always been happy with the results. However, on my most recent visit on 12/8/18, it didnt quite go as well as the previous appointments. I told the stylist that I wanted to further enhance the current ombre that I had. I wanted it lighter on the bottom and darker on the top. she showed me the swatches, we picked out the colors, and she asked me where I wanted the blonde to start. I told her I wanted to start blending in the blondes around the middle of my head. So I took off my glasses and let her do her thing. After the hair processed she washed the dye out, toned my hair, and started styling my hair with the chair turned away from the mirror (had my glasses off for this process as well). After she styled it I put on my glasses and look in horror at the results (curly hair picture). Not only was the blonde way too high, but it was also uneven with minimal to no blending. After asking the stylist to fix it she said that she was booked for the rest of the day and didnt seem to care much about how bad of a job she did. So I went to the front desk to see if there was anything they could do for me. Thankfully another stylist appointment had canceled on her and she could try and see what she could do. She ended up being able to fix mostly fix it and it looks way more blended and even (straight hair picture included). It still wasnt what I really wanted but there was only so much she could do to try and fix it. The salon didnt make me pay for the fix however, I still had to pay for the original appointment (which was not cheap). I will continue to go to this salon but I will not be going to that stylist again because I dont think the work she did was up to the standard of this great salon.

I wanted to love this place, I really did. Im new to town and this was my first experience at an eau Claire salon. the salon itself is beautiful, which is why Im a little sad I wont be back.My hair is the issue. Its the first time in a long time I left a salon and cried. I went in for full foil highlights. I was very specific on what I wanted and brought several pictures so my stylist would see my ideas. I asked for ash blonde and caramel for fall. She seemed to get excited too, so I was confident we were on the same page. I took my glasses off and relaxed fr the first time in a long time.She mixed what I thought was color but only brought one dish over. Im no stranger to highlights, so I asked about it. She said dont worry, Ill be putting in both colors. Ok. Went under the heater, to the sink, she did toner. Fast forward to my hair being dried. I see no color.... Mind you id spent even extra time under the heater. I thought maybe it was the lighting, so I looked outside too. Nothing. After $125 my hair looked the same as when I came in. Dull and light brown.Turns out she did NOT apply color during the foils. She did a lifter? And supposedly applied color when she was rinsing and toning my hair? Ive never heard of this and Ive had my hair done for many many years. My color has always been done in the foils.Long story short I wasted $125 on what could have been fabulous highlights and I got nothing. The my luck, by Monday morning when I was goin to call I got quarantined and was so sick I couldnt get out of bed for over a week. Then we moved across town and I missed my chance to possibly have someone fix it. Now Im stuck, $125 out of my pocket, until I can afford to find a new salon and get new highlights.Im at a loss. Never have I received such a horrible service in such a beautiful location.

I love the cut and color that was done by Jenna. Ive gotten so many compliments. Jenna was amazing. She made sure to listen to what I wanted but also made sure what we did was healthy for my hair. She was very personable and we had a great time getting to know each other. I will definantly be going back.

I had a great experience at this salon. It was my first time getting my hair colored and I also brought my 1 month old son to the appointment. I was nervous for many reasons however they were so welcoming and understanding about having my son with me. Wendy even came and grabbed him when he was fussing so I could enjoy my shampoo. Kim was my stylist and she was very kind and sweet. I was able to nurse him during my appointment and it was no big deal. My hair didn’t turn out 100% but it was because it didn’t take well to the toner, no fault of the stylist. I would definitely recommend and be going back!

Half the I come to this salon they don’t have my appointment booked even after I have gotten a confirmation email. The most recent time I went I asked for just highlights not a balayage specifically, yet the worker ignored that and continued to do a balayage and proceeded to charge me $200 for what should have been a $90 color. I would not recommend this salon they do not seem competent enough to understand a simple request. Every experience I have had here and the experiences others have here are all bad.

LOVE LOVE Kim, she is amazing! I highly recommend her. She takes her time to understand what your concerns are and knows hair! I went into Nicoles with a messed up hair color from another salon and Kim took charge and fixed the 3 different grays I had going on, and I am getting nothing but complements now on how nice my hair looks!

I dont normally write reviews but I thought I would give my input. Very nice salon and friendly staff; however, I did not like the work that Jenna did on my hair. I felt as though my hair did not look any different and was brassy. I will not be returning.

This salon has a really look to it, very clean and modern while still feeling cozy. The staff are very friendly as well.I mostly come here for massages.Heather has amazing massage skills. I heartily recommend scheduling one immediately.

Heather gave me the most amazing Massage ever...and Im a massage therapist so thats saying a lot. Im very picky. She was calm and soothing with just the perfect amount of pressure. Her quality of touch and attention to detail was phenomenal! Cant wait for my next massage in 3 weeks!!

I love this salon!! I live in the Cities, but come back to my home town to get my haircut. I’ve been to MANY salons in the Cities, but have been disappointed over & over. I know I’m going to be treated well & get a wonderful haircut & style. I can’t say enough nice things about the staff & stylists- everyone I’ve encountered has been top notch!

To say I have a lot of crazy, thick, and coarse hair would be an understatement. I went in feeling fed up with my hair and left loving it. The hair dresser was able to do everything I wanted and made it look fabulous despite my difficult hair. She was up for the challenge and was able to thin my hair out in all the right places! I am so happy I went here for the first time!

I have loved Nicoles for 15 years! The warm, welcoming atmosphere makes it my favorite salon. The staff is friendly and professional. Whether I have my hair done, or a pedicure, I love how I feel when I leave.

The place is nice. Ive had a few good hair cuts from there, but the most recent one I am not happy with. I showed pictures of what my hair looked like that last time I had it done there so they knew exactly what I wanted. Next time Ill be going to the salon where the lady who used to cut my hair now works.

Im new to Eau Claire. So I chose Nicoles. Dustin was fabulous! My hair was in much needed TLC. He did it! The staff is so attentive. I had the most relaxing pedicure. My new place!

Dustin is incredible. Ive had my hair colored, cut, styled & my makeup done by him a couple times and he always blows me away. Nicoles Salon has incredible customer service, is beautiful, relaxing & very conveniently located as well. Would highly recommend.

Can I give this place 10 stars?! Ashley saved my hair. I could not be happier with my experience! I came to her with a disaster!!! My whole head was stained green from stupid box dye (never again) and I had a weird haircut to top it all off. I asked if she could make me a red head (knowing I probably wouldnt achieve that because my hair was every shade of green) and sure enough she gave me the most beautiful red hair ever!!! And an amazing haircut!!! Not only that she kept my hair healthy and soft! She was so nice and genuine and so was everyone that worked there. These guys are miracle workers I definitely recommend them!

I went in for a trim and asked not to cut off my curls. My hair was just below my shoulders. She proceeded to cut off 3-4 inches and ALL of my curls leaving my hair length to below my ear. I went home and after it dried noticed one side shorter than the other. I called to complain and was told they would discuss it with the manager and would call back and they never did. Very poor customer service.

Ive been going to Kim for a few years and wouldnt dream of going anywhere else. Even when I dont know what I want or need she always does. When Im daring she goes with it and when Im a baby who doesnt want to be too dramatic or cut the hair short she still finds a style that works. LOVE her and the salon!!!

I came here for a haircut and left dissatisfied. I returned the next day and asked for my money back but that did not happen. I was offered to have my hair cut “fixed” even though it was not fixable ( hair was shaved off the sides when it should have been left at length) Took 1-1/2 hours for the woman to “fix” the hair cut, she went though and trimmed it again. I wasted my time twice but did not get a refund. Website says “See what our satisfied customers are saying” but seriously read the reviews and see what the dissatisfied ones say because that is how you will be treated too.

Had another great visit to Nicoles. They always make me feel special and take time to be sure Im happy with the services.

Wasted my time when I booked an appointment nothing was mentioned about are you currently experiencing any problems with your skin. When I went for my appointment today the stylist didnt want to perform my body hair removal because of concerns about fungal infections. I informed them that this is a lifelong condition for me and that my skin is naturally prone to them. They refused me service and when I brought up that I felt that what the real issue was that I was a guy and they were refusing me service as most of their clientele were women I was told I needed to leave the property. No reimbursement for wasting my time and making a customer believe that they were going to be served. When I had come in I had asked if any of the products had tea tree oil or argan oil this question was never answered. Sexist business owner who refused me service based on my sex I feel.

Great! Great! Great! I highly recommend Dustin...he is personable, an outstanding stylist and makes getting a cut and color a fun and relaxing time.

Horrible management!Have been seeing my stylist for over a year, but today received a letter from the manager saying I had only two choices: walk-in appointments only or have a credit card on file that would be charged in full if I had to change an appointment time within 24 hours of the appointment. Have NEVER BEEN A “no-show,” and have ALWAYS called if I had to change an appointment. If you are a busy professional, a parent, might get sick, encounter bad weather, or cannot plan your life 30 days in advance - don’t bother - clearly, they do NOT need your business. Never mind that your stylist may be unavailable for your scheduled appointment...

Horrible experience I gave them a picture of what I wanted done and it was not even close and it was more orange then anything when I had nice blonde when I went in. Manager never tried to help do anything about it. And it was the night right before my wedding!

Unfortunately due to inclement weather and bad roads, I wasn’t able to enjoy the services at Nicole’s, but the staff were so friendly and accommodating and understanding when we needed to move our appt time and later on had to cancel.I’m sure it was inconvenient to move our appts around and have us cancel at the last minute, but I really appreciated how pleasant and professional the staff were about it.Next time I am in WI I will definitely make another appt!

Had my hair colored there was nice for a few days and then came out, I even asked other customers which I should not have how it looked now there saying I cant even buy a product there or have service done again, they did not even offer to fix it Wow I Will never go there again
