I came in. I asked for a full set, and pedicure . With gel, my nails it’s self came up to $85 . They said the “length was really long, and they charge extra “. I’ve never had to pay extra anywhere else for the length I always get, and when putting the fake nails on, I noticed that it’s like he was purposely not putting enough glue, maybe so that they can break quickly and I would have to come back to spend moreMoney( a lot of nail salons have been doing this since the pandemic hit, and they had to shut down for a while ) . Literally the day after getting them done my nail broke on my pointer finger, and it feels like my index finger is next . In total I spent $135( I did not get gel on my feet ) including tips .lady who worked on my pedicure RUSHED, and did a sloppy job on my toes . I try to support black businesses, but this sometime is the issue with them. Quality and service is bad . I’ve been calling all day today, and no one has answered the phone . Ray (who worked on my nails ) did shape them, and shape my cuticles very well . However my nails should not be breaking off a day or two after getting them done .
It was my first and last time. The service was horrible and rushed! I was very skeptical when I first entered I asked the owner to give me her best nail tech she replied she couldn’t. So what I did was I took a chance and gave them a try and it was the worst job I ever had experienced in my life, my nails they was big bulky she polished all outside of my nailbed all on my skin it was terrible. And also my nails was big on one side and shaved thin on the other it’s was awful. I’ll never in my years of living go back there again. And this how my nails looked when I left also the polish chipped later that day very poor job. Don’t Go There!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have just left unique nails. I have been going there for almost 2 years. And yes Miss B is a sweet woman, and I am one of those who Supports her business because it is black owned.I came on a Saturday when this be without the salon was open to by her sister .One Of the 20 year employees who is pictured on the website to the far left. Well basically she did not do what she was supposed to. She convinced me to get dip powder which is $10 more but I figured it was worth it. She never removed my old nails she only added one new nail because it was broken, she only filled in the back of my nails, there was no dip when I went to wash my hair and she said no. So I did the right thing I went back and spoke two another employee, this woman opens the shop sometimes. And she herself said that the one who did my nails think she’s double. I came back today because I hadn’t caught Misty and she was out, and basically she said I don’t understand. Then she couldn’t tell me the right way to do the nails because she said that’s not her area well you’re the owner you should know. And then she laughed incessantly as though it was a joke. She wouldn’t stop. I left but then I came back and told her I would pray for her and her business but I would never be back. She laughed…again. No more support here. If you were employee is cheating just one person you can guarantee they are treating someone else.
When I seen that a full set started at $25 I was like kool. I know with gel its an extra $10 which is fine but the way they price seems like it only make since to them. It should of been clear that without adding nails its $25 and if its a certain length that is $25 that should be clear as well. I was told the length I got was to long for the price. I been to places where the length would be fine at that price shoot Ive had it longer at that price. Then the shape was off and the polish was not a clean job....I could of done it myself better I just wanted someone else to do it in shorter time then me doing it and the chemicals wouldnt have my home smelling like a nail salon. I will not return here. $45 waste and I didnt get a design. Never ever again. Im going back downtown.
Went to get gel manicure and pedicure, was charged extra for shaping and making nails even on both hands. My nails are natural and short I only wanted them to all be the same length. Filing and shaping natural nails are part of the process in a manicure. I had to ask to put polish on part of my toenails that was missed. The nail tech was nice but was not focused. Oil was placed on my legs and feet but wasnt massaged in or wiped off, I had to rub it in on myself. Some things are included in manicure services and just part of the process; like filing and shaping nails, lotion on the hands of clients after the manicure. I have never experienced a pedicure where only oil was used and no lotion and definitely never where extra oil was left on and I to remove it myself. There are several nail shops in the same area, I went to this salon because they had a signed that said Black owned, very disappointed.
This was my first encounter with Thai nail salon and it was horrible.1. it took 45 mins to be seen, however I was a walk in.2. when I was finally seen, they ran out of plastic covers for the sink (for my feet)3. Then when I decide to just get my nails done. I showed the technician a good French tip and she said she couldn’t do it and sent me to another nail salon4. When I told them owner, she came up with excuses and basically defended the nail tech, which is her right.I kindly left, and went to lush nails and they are so nice in here and I was seen almost immediately and they can do a French line using gold nail polish 🙄
Two signs I noticed Black owned and restrooms out of order!!!! How do expect customers to sit 2 hours and you dont have A restroom available for them. If it was your home you would call A plumber. The lady who did my pedicure didnt add anything to the water to help the dead skin . . I will not support this business every nail shop I go to have a running bathroom
Today 8/13/21 service was awful!...I was here from out of town and when me and another customers arrived we asked if they had time to take us instead of saying no, they were trying to be greedy, taking customers out of order, I asked for a color change on my toes (told her twice) and a fill-in. she proceeded to do a pedicure and another came up to remove polish from one of my hands then jumped to another customer. By now its pass closing time and everyone packing up to leave and no one wants to stay to finish my nails 😡🤬..Owner (BOB) told the lady that removed the polish to stop with the customer she was doing and finish mine, she paid her no mind. And the kicker is.... I asked would I not be charged, she said she still has to pay the employee... WTH!....good thing I dont live here because Never Would I Ever Go BACK!😡😡
First time visit for a pedicure. It is a walk in shop and the owner Ms Bea was welcoming and got us in chairs within 15 minutes. It was so exciting to find a Black-owned and operated nail salon we will return. A great pedicure and prices are comparable.
Ive been to this shop several times. The last few times, the nail techs had an issue with me asking to soak my feet a while before they start working on my pedicure. Today the owner told me NO one wanted to do my nails because Im known for requesting this and they dont like it. NEVER going back again!!! If I cant get what Im paying for Ill take my business elsewhere. The owner seems to have no authority over her employees. I dont recommend this shop.
Came in on a Wednesday for a basic pedicure as a walk-in. The shop is black owned and Ms Bea Wilson was present today, however 90% staff is not. My pedicure felt rushed however I dont mind to get in an out I dont like to hang out and breathe all the fumes... (even with a mask on) the tech did a good job not to heavy handed and regular pedicure consisted of quick soak, file/clip nails, cuticles trimed, pumuis stone scrub, (she had the cheese grater but thats a no for me) sugar scrub, then rinse quick massages of leg/feet and polish. She did not use a base coat but did use a top coat... total services was $30. I would come back however will definitely request a base coat.
I really wanted to like this place but I wont be visiting again. At one point they had run out of bowl covers and were still urging people to soak feet in uncovered and uncleaned bowls. The nail techs seem to be calling the shots here. One male client asked for a double coat of clear polish and they told him no. My gel pedicure seemed to not have been done with care as polish was left on my skin. I will not be returning
The technician was very nice and kind. BUT I asked for a pink & white set, I sat my phone in front of her with a photo of what I wanted. The work was sloppy and rushed. The nails were shaped on even as well. I will not return because when I asked about the shaping and polish she couldn’t even understand what I was requesting.
I enter into this business with my niece looking to support a black owned business. The owner walked right passed us to step outside to discuss some gospel with a customer. Once she came in she still didn’t acknowledge us! Its so sad we ask for community to support and receive service like this....JUST BAD!
Ive been to a few nails spots in this same area because its near my home. I was not satisfied with the quality of work or the customers service. Until I found this spot! Ms. Bea is welcoming from the time you come in the door. My nail tech is the absolute best. His name is Nathan, you should definitely check him out. Hes very knowledgeable about the nail techniques and he takes pride in his work.
I also doing a Facebook review. I tried to patronize a black owned business but so will never be back. The manicure I received after requesting SNS looks like a child did it. I asked her to stop paid and left and went to Cleopatras, and received perfect service and my nails now looks amazing. I won’t be back ever !!!
This was a terrible experience ! I do believe this is a nail salon for the bare minimums . I tried to give the black owned business a chance . For starters they do not have a pedicure menu . Secondly, it’s almost like no one knows how to do nails and the owner is no help . I sat and let me nails soak for over an hour and no one still acted like they could drill it down without soaking completely off . Had someone told me, I could of been soaking while getting a pedi . Both of these services were done separately mind you . I ended up not being able to wait and I just came down to cleopatra instead with half soaked nails . I spent over three hours there ! I truly believe their demographics are for older people . If you want something other than a basic mani and pedi, this isn’t the place .
Great experience! Ms.Bea and her team rock. This is my new spot.
Was so excited to find this Black-owned nail salon. Ms. Bea the owner is gracious and her staff is warm and efficient. Vickie did my nails. One of the best pedis Ive gotten with care and took her time. Will definitely be back.
Great vibes, Mrs Bea, The Owner, was very nice. The young lady that did my pedicure did a good job. I will be coming back.
First time at salon 2 weeks ago. Great, clean experience. Dong is wonderful, please ask for her. Value worth the cost.
Great place to come to! The owner is extremely nice as well as the staff. Theyll always recognize your face. They do a fantastic job. I would recommend to anyone.
Its officially just been a week and my nails are lifting and my hair is getting caught in them and Ive had to glue them back down smh i just hate that I wasted money I hope they are able to fix things but I definitely wont be returning!
These ppl are so rude and very unprofessional when I first walked in I was greeted asked what services I needed and so fourth they showed me jell polish as I waited and I picked my color ( white jell nail polish ) so when it’s time for me to sit and get my nails done the lady asks me what color I want I tell her white and she continues to ask what size and shape I tell her so as she is shaping my nails the lady goes on to ask me am I sure I want the color white in confusion I say yes she then tells me white won’t be able to cover this color I had and I should pick another color so irritated I pick another color she says flat out “no” so I choose another “no” and another she says “no” so I’m like I’m not going to want my nails done if I can’t get what I want . This lady just pushed my hand away and stops doing my nails and walk off . Very very bad customer service . For one I’m not a nail tech but I’m almost sure a few coats of jell nail polish could cover up those colors for 2 instead of just saying no to me she could’ve suggested a color that would cover the color so whatever guys I go back to the front and ask them can someone else do my nails not rude or anything so they tell me yes and I sit and wait for another nail tech so another lady comes and asks me what services I wanted and I tell her and then I say before u start I have a question this lady says hold on rudely and continues to do other things I waited another 10 mins untill I decided just forget it so I left this place with a half job that they started and never finished I wouldnt recommend anyone to this place the ppl are fairly older and seem to not recognize what customer service is nor can they cater to new trends for younger ppl other ppl where complaining I would just say no not even for a last minute job I would much rather have good quality and customer service and wait then go here and spend my money .
Awful!!! Customer service received by the owner, Bea of this establishment. I waited 30 minutes to receive a service perhaps she should’ve taken the time to let “everyone know” there were only two stations open for a service (to be respectful of time). She didn’t spray the chair after clients had been sitting awaiting a service and was “down right rude” and unprofessional.I reminded her that the internet and customer service is a very valuable tool.
Kids are not allowed in the store which is unfortunate bc after reading this was black owned I wanted to support. I think that rule is absolutely ridiculous. Decided to go to Lush nails great experience and they allowed kids. My daughter is well mannered and understand social distancing practices. Will not come back to this establishment
I came here for a fill on wednesday and told the associate that one of my nails needed repair. She ignored me and told me no she wouldnt fix it because the acrylic would hold it. I also told the owner about this and was told that if it breaks, I can come back. It broke on Thursday on addition to another snails polish peeling. I called immediately and told them I would be there on Friday around 4 - 4:15 PM to get it fixed. I get there and am just sitting while others come in AFTER me and get serviced. The owner had the nerve to say she doesnt have anyone to service me because she wanted the one who originally did them to fix. It would be at least an hour if I were to wait since they claimed they dont take appointments. The two that came after me had people waiting on them.....that sounds like an appointment was made. This place has bad service if they dont know you. Once I get what I paid for, which seems like wont ever happen, Im definitely done with them
I called and inquired if this was a black owned business. They stated yes. But when I arrived there were no black technicians and the owner was not there. This looked like a placed that pretended to be black owned. How am I supporting a black owned business but there are no black technicians and I can’t meet the black owner. Isn’t this the purpose of a black owned business?
I was very exicted to try a black owned salon. The owner Ms. BEA was very pleasant. I recieved services for a full gel set and a pedicure. Two days later I had two nails break. The tips of my acrylic began to fold. I am unsure if this is from the quality of the acrylic itself. I came to let Linda (my manicurist) know about my errors, and she was very dismissive. I suggest if you are looking for a place to feel appreciated before and after services, this is not it. Unfortunately.
This is one of the nicest nails salons I been to in a long time. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly and professional. The owner Ms. Bea is the best. Finally a black owned nail salon with all the latest SNS colors. Please give this place a try you won’t be disappointed.
This place is great! The work is wonderful, and the price is excellent. My nails turned out gorgeous. The workers dont speak great English, but at least they do what you want. (I hope it wasnt just luck). I would highly recommend this place.
This is an amazing nail shop! I always go to Nathan who does an excellent job on my hands and feet. He suggested I started getting the SNS to have healthier nails and it has worked wonders! He takes his time and gives a good massage with the pedicures. He has great customer services skills and always makes you feel welcomed and he doesn’t rush. I highly recommend to call in and schedule your appointment because you do not want to sit around and wait. I always call and it helps! Great shop and customer service! Go to Nathan!
This was the worst nail shop experience that I have EVER had. I agree with previous reviewers that customer service is awful and I wish I’d listened instead of taking a chance. The color of SNS powder I selected during my visit was low, so my nail tech (I believe her name was Cindy or Linda or Sydney, but I could be wrong) decided to pick another color of her own without telling me that it was nearly out and allowing me to make another choice. When I noticed it was different on the 2nd or 3rd finger, I asked about it (not wanting to waste my time or hers) and she told me that she “knew what she was doing”, finally informed me that the color I chose was low, and said she would put the right color on top of this color after she finished all of my nails. Of course, it didn’t look right. When I asked her to redo it, she got upset, tossed the towel she was using and my keys on the station behind me, and yelled at me to move to have someone else do my nails. Instead, I asked them to take it all off and opted to go to another salon. They then charged me $10 for a take off. I would not recommend this salon at all.
Nail polish rushed and done. Looks like my like my little sister did them. I waited 10 minutes for the lady to “clean them up” and she had an attitude when she did so. Cleopatra’s nails is much better. Will never go to this place again.
The owner was nice but the nail tech Lynda is horrible. She uses very little nail polish which doesn’t last more than a day. I went to her on Saturday and by Monday my nails looked horrible. Because I live and work on the opposite side of town, I wasn’t able to make it back there until the next Saturday. I had and showed pictures of how my nails looked throughout the week. The owner was understanding however Lynda was not. She was very rude and denied even looking at my photos which was stamped with the dates and time.
I just love the atmosphere here. Mrs. Bea is a great owner and has superior customer service. My nail tech, Vickie is the greatest one I have had. I really look forward to going to the nail shop. All of the nail techs are friendly and have great customer service skills.I recommend this nail shop to anyone who wants to have great looking nails and receive great customer service at the same time.
Customer service was horrible! They tried to upgrade every service. Then they had the audacity to get upset when I tried to inform them on how I wanted my nails shaped!! The lady at the front desk should also try to be more friendly, she was not welcoming at all! I will never go to this nail salon again!
I was referred by my friend Dee! For a pedicure here since I don’t have my favorite nail salon. My technician Nathan was awesome! He’s taking his time and very gentle. I am very pleased with his work. Make sure you call for Nathan before you get there, he’s very busy and you don’t want to sit there and wait
Me Bea has been in the nail business a very long time, and it shows. Her staff is friendly and polite, and the environment is clean and professional. I absolutely love unique nails!!!!! They get you in and out with no confusion. If you’re not going to Unique Nails you’re missing out!
Ok I didnt want to really give this rating not even a 1 star. I got my nails done on March 31, 2018. And the next morning on April 1, 2018 my nails are looking like the pics provided. My best friend nails look the same as mine. I waited forever just for my nails to turn out looking like this. Im very disappointed and will not be returning. Money wasted. Ive never had my nails chip the next day, and my polish didnt last 24 hours. Dont come here.
This is the nicest nail shop I have been to in a long time. The owner is very nice and professional. I highly recommend this nail shop to my friends.
Got my nails done on sat and by Wednesday I’m missing two nails and one is split in half. They say in google they close at 7:30 went there and they were closed. Terrible never going again
Unique nails is a black owned business. She does have Asian workers tho. They are a little pricey. But the service is impeccable.
Today my service was good however I was over charged 85.00. The stylist told me the price on the wall and after I had my treatment she gave me a higher price. She only did the normal service nails and pedicure. I will never go there again!! Don’t ask for Tu
I love this nail shop. Black owned and quality products
Terrible service. It’s small. The floors are dirty. The counters are cluttered. Pedicure chair is extremely old & uncomfortable not mention broken. No one speaks reasonable English or can communicate. It’s a terrible experience. I wouldnt recommend or suggest anyone to visits this place.
I love this nail shop. This is definitely my go-to. The owner is very nice and compassionate.
I walked in and I was asked what did I need. I replied and said, I need my nail fixed. He said, did you get your nails done here? I said, no. He said, we dont have your nail color. I said, its gel color and all nail salons have the same colors. He said, we dont have your nail color. I said, how do you know if your havent looked? He said, I know what we have. I turned around and walked away. It was the most racist, unprofessional, ignorant experience!
The customer service was great. The owner was very delightful to talk to and my nails looks lovely. JUST LOVED IT. i’m very skeptical on who did my nails and since this was my first time here, i was very pleased 💖👏🏽
Fresh set of acrylic Nails and the nail lifted from cuticle within days. Went back got them fixed one of the ones that was fixed completely popped off. Others lifted again. Spoke to owner she said come in next day came in she wasn’t there. Nail techs told me she wasn’t coming in. Called several times after and no answer. Wouldn’t give them a 1 if I could.
A so called black owned nail salon with only Asians working there. Is that self-hate or dishonesty? No thank you. These same people have a sense of entitlement and think their own should support them. Yet they dont even offer the people from their own community employment. Just stop saying youre black owned because thats a slap in the face to your ancestors.
Not so unique!!! Went back to have nail polish on pedi redone after excessive one week peeling. So disappointed with how Ms Bea and staff handled the incident! I explained that I had been out of town and was not asking for a refund at all but was simply mentioning that the service didnt seem to last at all and asked if it could be the polish? (Ive used this color twice with the same poor result). The owner who never once asked which color had been used, seemed offended with the whole idea but honestly the polishes showcasing appear quite dated and some polishes do chip more than others, but most salons understand this..I was specifically patronizing because it was an African American owner and pedicure service is as basic as it comes...Pricing is little below the norm, and staff is adequate except for one gentlemen...Nothing personal and I wish them the best, but if you are looking for a truly unique experience, this is not the place! Expect the very basic...and possibly sub quality!
Customer service is okay but my full and pedicure were a mess! I had to go to another nail salon 2 days later to get my nails done correctly. The nail tech continously apologized because she thought Id came there. I told her its ok this did t happen here. She apologized for wherever I went. Will not return
When you’re getting your eyebrows waxed and you see a celebrity breeze in and out..... you know you’re in the right place!!!!! 💗 and hip hop fan!!!! You have a forever customer! If it’s good enough for the Love and Hip Hop Fam, it’s just right for me.
Great staff but my experience wasnt that great. My cuticle was cut too much during my pedicure and it caused me to bleed. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
Service was Great and Friendly atmosphere 😀😍
I love Miss Bea and Unique Nails. My favorite tech is Nathan. He is very thorough and does an excellent job.
Ive been searching a for a good quality nail salon for the last two years now, and when I tell you Unique Nails have delivered and some!!!!! Since Ive been getting my nails done, I have yet came across a nail technician who specializes in beautiful healthy Nails until I met Nate Nate makes sure your nails are on point and healthy! He takes his time and does a great job. The staff is courteous, the owner Ms. Bae is a sweetheart ❤️. If yourey looking for a nail salon who aspecializes in healthy, beautiful, natural looking nails, Unique Nails is the place to be! I guarantee you wont be disappointed! 💅🔥
I have been a customer at this place for almost 6 years. I have never had any issues. I only see one nail tech and thatsu Vickie. She has never disappointed me. I always have a long wait because everyone quickly learned that Vickie is the best nail tech there. I try to come on days that are not busy. I love Mrs. B. She is about business. I have seen her accommodate unsatisfied customers. I have seen her make the tech redo or give them to Vickie to me their standards. Ive had long wait times at other nail shops so it doesnt bother me. Now truth be told, if Vickie leaves Im out. I have had the same tech for six years and have built a relationship with her. I would just have to maintain my nails as I dont do fake nails. All in all it is a great nail salon and to me the prices are competitive.
The price was a little high and the work was sloppy. Super disappointed, its been 2 days and my manicure and pedicure have chipped and I got the no chip mani/pedi. Waste of money, now I have to get it fixed/redone at a different nail place. They were nice for squeezing us in but they need to pay more attention to what they are doing. The atmosphere was not relaxing at all. Wish I could get my money back.
The reviews are great which is why I decided to go. However, this place is avearage and somewhat overpriced for a basic pedicure. Today is Day 3 and my nails are already chipping very easily. Actually, it started chipping Day 1. I may come back but nit because they did an excellent job but because its so close to my house.
I’ve been a loyal customer for almost 12 years! Love the owner and staff!
Place has been in the community for years
The black woman is terrible that owns it. I came to get a repair and when I went to match my nail polish, she came and snatched the polish. I asked her if she understood the language barrier between me and her employees, And she was of no assistance. I tried to approach her about what she thought I was doing with the polish, she band told me to wait a minute then walk to the back and have one of her employees tell me that she left for the day. I really hate to see a black women trying to do something in the community and turn around and be rude to her own people . I was not rude or loud nor did I have an attitude and I did not deserve this terrible service.
Owner promptly answered the phone, but was clueless to the prices of HER services. When asked about price she told me they would get back to me, who is they ?Do better love!
The staffed is rude as hell i asked the lady at front was they running the special for 25$ gel she tells me a completely different answer i asked her do they charge by length she says no only 22$ for a full set! I sit foen the guys trying to charge me extra for everything i see y the place is empty they are rude in dumb as hell DO NOT GO HERE
One of the best spa pedicures I have ever had. Even the spa chair was good. I felt confident that this place was very sanitary bc they cover every pedi bowl w plastic so you do not have direct contact with the bottom of the bowls. I have NEVER seen that & I have been to quite a few high-end spas. I cant wait to come back and get gel nails. And yes Ms. Bea greeted me when I walked in.
I went in today April 11th and I was seen right awag which was good but the service is poor!!! I got the cateye polish and was charged extra for a line you cannot see. I told my tech I could not see the line and she told me to let it set and I would see it clearer that NEVER HAPPENED. I take my nail service very serious and they did not deliver so I will never go there again. The lady who did my nails was Linda and I am so unhappy I paid extra for regular polish!!!!!
Not even worth one star horrible management horrible customer service two nails fell off day after service . and Ms.Bea refused to meet some type of understanding. Black business doesnt need to be bad business waste of $40
My girls nails look like either a 6 year old did them or a 30 year old with the mind of a 6 year old did them. I support black business but wheres the quality? Sure, they offered to do them again but who wants to sit twice as long for a basic mani? Currently removing that godawful nail job from my Queens nails. Shell never come back there, especially when I can do a better job smh
Really being nice with the one but me and my daughter when to them Saturday @6 pm they close at 730 pm but anyway we both got manicure but I got a moon gel color on my feets . First off the towels they put on ur legs was to hot I told her she kept putting it back on my legs ssyins its not to hott like she know my hot level then my daughter was finshf before me she waited a whole 40 mins to dry feets in feets wasnt still dry then they messed up in the first 10 mins after . So we came back and wait a hour to be seen and a other 40 mins or more to dry feets we wont be coming back never again bad services in waiting time
The best service ever mrs bea is awesome and vicky did an awesome job on my full set Ill be back!
Only in town for the weekend and I had no time to get a mani/pedi before leaving. Unique Nails was across the street from our hotel. I walked in and was taken right away. Nathan was awesome. He was friendly and professional, taking his time and explainiing everything as he went along. He offered to have my husband come sit near me as he was waiting while I received the services. Everyone was friendly, smiling and enjoying their work day, or at least it seemed that way. If back in the area, I will definitely revisit Unique Nails and see Nathan. Thank you.
Best place to go if you dont like crowds and a lot of noise. Lynda is my favorite!
Dont go in here. I called tryint to get pricing the lady said someone would call me back and they never did. Then I went to the location and sat outside and I watched as she put the phone down. She didnt know basic information .Bad customer service will mess up business.
Walk in. I dont agree with the other reviews.. its over price for a pedicure.. customer services is NOT friendly. And When you ask for callus remover guess again you wont be getting it. But charge for it. Never again.
This was my second time getting services gor myself. Ive been a few times to get a pedicure done on my mother whonis disabled. Ms. Bea and the staff are always attentive, kind and compassionate when it comes to my mother. Today, my service was relaxing, enjoyable and my mani/pedi looks marvelous. Just in time for Thanksgiving.
Just terrible. I tried going there TWICE and both times my nails came out awful. The first time I paid $60 for a mani pedi, she cut me three different times and made my toe nails far too short. My nails were crooked, poorly painted and she even got gel polish on my skin. When I called to complain I was rushed off the phone by the owner. The second time I was reluctant to go but my friend wanted to try again because we like to support black owned businesses. Its been a week and my, again poorly painted nails (that I paid $30 for), look awful. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Visited the salon today service started out okay, next thing I noticed I had a tip on my toe nail. She proceeded to remove it with toe nail clippers very painful I asked is there another way...she got rude and nasty said she didnt have to do my nails I could leave. So I laughed at this time Im like is this chick serious yes 😂 she started talking trash Im glad Im not from around there what they must know you cant speak to everyone in the same manner werent the same disrespectful I went around the corner to another salon in which service and my toes were fixed properly soaked off silly😂 the high of my day. Treat people how you want to be treated🤗
I love it i get my nails done every two wks or month for a year & 8 months they always do a good job but the wait to just to get my nails done is the only thing negative but overall everything else is great
Call in today 10/19/18 to see about lashes and the price got put on hold for over an hour and when i hung. She still never got back to the phone
I looked for a black owned nail salon in order to help support black businesses. The owner I like, the set up decent, the price fair. My only issue is not all of the techs are not as nice as they can be...I prefer if they spoke english at all times while working because, Im pretty sure the one I had the other day said something about me to the tech sitting next to her. My money does and can spend in another black owned nail shop....let me feel that way again and Ill either ask for Vicki everytime I come there or Ill take my business else where.
Great services. Nate is the best
3rd time getting my nails done. This time I wanted a pedicure because Im about to have a baby. The owner told me I was too big for her seats. I told her she assumed my weight and never asked and she kept saying Its rude to ask. I tried to support black business but her os another example of poor customer service.
Advise no one go here do bad nails. Plus they dont know how to design!!! I repeat dont go here.!!!
I come here every two weeks to get a manicure and pedicure. The ladies here do an excellent job.
Love this place. They get you in and out
Poor customer service, Services they provide weren’t consistent and when asking for clarification was met with attitude. I would not recommend and will not return.
I wanted to believe different then what the reviews said but this place is not good at all. I felt like my grandma was doing my nails. I just wanted a mani pedi. Pedi was ok, besides her thinning down the polish. :( Then my manicure was HORRIBLE. I had to guide the lady and my nails still came out wrong. Then she had an attitude when i asked her to put a third coat on because it was the 2nd time she thinned down my polish.I had a date to go to and didnt want to be late but had to leave which is why I didnt sit and teach her how to file my nails with a different file aside from the rough file she was using on my nails for much longer. Im writing this review the day after simply because my nails are already through and the service was wasted money to say the least.
Its clean, organized and the service is ok. It seems that its more like work for the people that provide the service and not an enjoyment which gives off a dull energy for the experience as a whole for the client.
The lady that was doing my nails was rushing to leave and made my nais lumpy
If I could rate them lower I would....My grandmother got her nails painted there yesterday. And today the polish is almost gone...and peeling...she called Ms.Bea and she told her the polish will only last 2 days...who does that! A flat out LIE!!! THE LIES SHE TOLD!!!! THE POLISH SHOULD AT LEAST LAST FOR 2 WEEKS!!!!
I took my mother to get a pedicure an Ms Bea the owner was so rude to me about my mother feet she refused to do it.An as a business owner she need to go school for customer services. I wiil never go back there i wouldnt take my dog there very disrespected
I have been a customer for 6 years. Always great service!!!
The worst, I received a pedicure and full set. Both ladies were rude and one of my nails were messed up I asked the lady to refix the nail and she caught a whole attitude. Do not go here
