I have not been able to send an email from my phone for 3 weeks. I have left several messages with no return calls! Their message says our call is important to them and then it says β€œwe cannot take your call”. Seriously?! I cannot run my business successfully if you cannot run yours. Today I finally talked to a human who told me the tech is taking the day off. It’s Wednesday!🀬

There was an internet outage in the area yesterday. They make it impossible to contact them, they leave their phone off the hook so when a customer calls you receive a busy signal. Cannot wait to switch from this garbage service.

This company has the worst customer service. They are also no help when asked direct questions. they just avoid the answer. They are clearly throttling internet and giving extremely poor quality internet. Ive spoken to many of their tech team and customer service and only spoken to 1 that was helpful while the others just gave contradicting statements to what the others have made. I would never suggest this company to anyone.

Internet Service is absolutely terrible and was down more than it worked. When it did work the average speed was about 1mgb per second. Anytime you would try calling about it if you were lucky you could get through to somebody in Kansas that didnt have a clue where you even lived and told you to restart your router. Upon cancelation they keep the account active so they can bill you for another billing cycle and tell you dont remove our equipment, we will send a technician within 14 days to get it. I made the mistake of figuring I could wait to pay my last $40 until after they picked up the equipment. After 2 months of no returned phone calls or emails I received an email stating if I didnt pay my service would be discontinued and my bill of a whole $40 would be sent to collections. Customer Service then Proceeded to drop off of the face of the earth again. Ended up giving them their money and still have their equipment sitting on my porch.

Internet was installed and went down after a couple days. We kept calling to get it fixed, they put us on a list and kept charging us even though we didnt have service. After a month of this cycle we cancelled and they charged us for two months of service along with installation even though we only had days of service. I would AVOID this company at all costs. The people are nice to talk to but their service is awful!!

Contacted Visionary about adding another business account in Durango, CO after having an existing account for 5+ years. Even with offering to sign a contract they wouldnt extend any offers or discounts. Not recommended.

ZERO STARS!!!Tech Support Sucks! I called with an issue, they interrupted me before I described it and blamed another company. Then they hung up on me when I dare to challenge them.Too bad. They used to be a local company with local people. They were wonderful. Then they were acquired by Forethought and its been downhill ever since.

I have an email-only account with this company. In the last three years, my monthly bill has TRIPLED. Ive been trying to get tech support for the last week to no avail. Nobody answers the phones, nobody returns voicemail, nobody returns email. Do business with them at your own peril.UPDATE: Seven months later and once again, Im having problems with my email. NO returned calls, NO returned emails, NO customer service. This is possibly the worst business I have EVER done business with.

Been with Brainstorm since they first opened their doors. My first email address was with Brainstorm and I still have it...that was 16+ years ago!No complaints.....yet! until today.....hours with no call back....cant send emails. Time to change to Gmail I think. There are times when an email is sent to me, it takes hours to get it, when with Gmail I get it in 2 seconds.

If I could leave out ALL the stars I would! EVERY time I call, sales people are nice, but billing people are virtually unreachable and IF you get through, they are the rudest people Ive dealt with in customer service EVER. Average call: I dial, wait to press 4 for billing, and am on hold for the standard 5:26 before an automated voice comes on and say the person at this extension is unavailable, good bye. So I call back, again it happens. I call again and dial sales, I ask to pay a bill with them as billing is not answering. They transfer me. I get someone who cannot access their system, is rude and hangs up on me. Do they WANT my money??? SO INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING!

If I could give these folks no stars, I would. I used this ISP years ago when they were a local provider based in Durango. At that time they were pretty good. Not great but good. They are no longer a local company and their customer service is horrendous. Really, just terrible. I could give multiple examples of their awful service but I dont want to waste anymore brain power on this company. Steer clear friends JH

Horrible customer service. I was charged reconnect fees for my internet when it was never disconnected. When I questioned my re-connect fees, billing refused to look into it or return calls. I would never recommend or have anything good to say about this company. All it would have took was a little return in customer service to change my view of this company. Very disgusted/disappointed.

I submitted a survey request on 12/26/2017 and called at least 3 times to see when a survey would be performed. Each time they would say Its only been X number of business days and we technically have 10 business to complete a survey. Well today is 1/11/2018, and if given the benefit of them not entering the request until 12/27 (called on 12/26) that is still 12 days. No phone call to apologize, and when I called only snarky comments about their given time frame and the technician was assigned to it. I was assured a call on Wednesday, 1/10/2018, but never received any call. Today I had High Speed 4 U come and install internet. They were prompt, responsive and easy to work with. No install fee either! Thanks Brainstorm for continuing your terrible reputation and saving me the headache of dealing with your company by not even completing a survey!

It took us over a week (which we were still charged for) to cancel our Brainstorm service. My husband called several times and after being on hold for 15 minutes, finally hung up. When he finally reached a human on the 4th attempt he was told we could not cancel over the phone, we had to do it on the website. On the website there isnt a spot to register an account to manage your user settings, only a spot to retrieve your password once your account is set up. Long story short? Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. Avoid them if you can.

The worst internet service out. the tec tristan is the worst excuss for a tec he knows nothing. called them for upgrade from 1.5 mg to 3 they turn my mail off.hrHe could not use his on instructions to get it back one line.had to go to ski town computers I paid for full year TRISTAN TURNED MY SERVICE OFF WITHOUT MY permission..Ill bet there is an attorney out there that can use some extra cash . thats where iam headed....alaigntec offers same start up price foe 3 mg ...do not use brain fart unless u want to throw your bucks away for nothing

Connection downtime is disgustingly frequent. They dont even take care of their own accounts as we, loyal 20 year customers, were dumped on centurylink. I pay for 6MBps, but its a miracle if I ever see 900kBps. Sitting here eating my phone data because, again, theres a massive outage on all centurylink equipment in Silverton. Thats all. No ETA. No idea what the problem is, nothing. Pretty much told (in more polite terms) to suck it up, buttercup. Ive got work to do. I dont pay you guys to lose me money.

The service is ok when it works. There is no 24 hr help number that you can call. Had xfinity before this, and I ended up with so many credit days that I only paid 7 months for 12 months of service. When a service that you pay for is not working, you should be able to call someone to see what the problem is. I signed up for this internet before realizing that they have no support after hours. Like most people, I work, and have no idea if my internet is working or not during the day. What I do know is that if it is not working when I get home from work, there is no one that I can call because the store is closed. Bad business in this day and age not to have 24 HR. customer service for a business like this.. Would not recommend to anyone looking for a company that they can get help from should an issue ever occur. And there has been plenty of those with my experience with this company.

We live in a remote service area just outside the reach of cable and DSL (Time Warner and CenturyLink, respectively). I used to resell an antiquated T1 line to my neighbors as the only internet source we had for over seven years, until Brainstorm came along.Now we test out burst speeds over 20MBps down (and sustained at around 16-17MBps sometimes higher) and 7MBps up. Thats better than some connected places in other states. Finally, real high-speed internet (with no data caps or satellite lag) came to our area!! Its well worth the price (Im on the yearly plan, so were talking over $700) and its very reliable, even in rain and snowstorms. (The only thing that seems to phase it is when lightening strikes the tower it broadcasts from... gee I wonder why... and the response team is quick to fix things.)But PLEASE dont become a subscriber to Brainstorm Internet; you really should stay away. Take your business elsewhere. Why? Because youll start to take away some of my bandwidth and become another fish in this great ocean. Take a hike.

Internet service is unreliable...goes out for hours at a time. The worst tech service Ive ever experienced. After 3 dropped calls while trying to work out an issue and 3 waits through the answering service cue the tech said, Well, I hope you dont drop the call again. My shift is over in 5 mins and you wont be able to call back. Tech issue took 2 days to resolve.When a tech was asked why we should stay with Brainstorm or go with Centurylink the response, Youll be dealing with tech support from Indonesia. Well, at least theyre not d!$ks.

Indifferent and incompetent.Our service is lost 3,4 -8 times a month be it for 30 minutes, two hours or in the ongoing issue 3 weeks continuous loss of service.When I call I get the runaround, messages left and not returned. One tech was quite surly when speaking to me, when I mentioned that I had not been rude to him to warrant such behavior he became indifferent AND surly with the ever unpopular Whatever!
