It’s pretty rare to walk away feeling truly cared for but somehow, that’s the level of service that Zachary W., Jabe W., Kevin W., Craig M., and Peter I. were able to provide today. I loved watching them work- clear communication, positive attitudes, high fives, and professionalism when speaking with me about the problems they found and how they could help fix them. Whichever young man repaired my windshield did a phenomenal job. I didn’t even know that Jiffy Lube worked on windshields!!!

These guys do more than oil! I had a long trip planned and the day before I had to leave, my air conditioning went out. Nobody else could fit me in or they were closed because it was the weekend. These guys got me in and fixed my air conditioner- it now works perfectly. A few weeks later, I had a battery light come on and they were able to determine it was the alternator and fixed that as well. They also have a AAA discount. I was very surprised at the level of service they were able to provide! I highly recommend this place

We were traveling and a little overdue for an oil change so we stopped in at the jiffy lube in Durango. They got to us quickly. They did everything we wanted and more. Their multicheck inspection turned up a few things with the cabin filters. They took care of it and we were back on the road. Thank you Jiffy Lube!

I did not have a good experience here. I called their phone number and listened to the recording that said $59 for a basic oil change. When I got there the guy checking me in told me that conventional oil was only for carbureted vehicles from 1973 and earlier. This would result in me needing to buy a $74 oil change, which Im sure included tax. I did not mention to him that I have run a car dealership for 20 years, and while I did not engage in bait and switch and dishonest practices, I can recognize them from a mile away. Nevertheless, I chose to pay the extra money and get my oil changed. After 30 minutes of waiting behind a single car that was in front of me, I returned to the you told him that I needed to get on my way. Its possible that my experience was a one-off event, but I dont get the feeling that this is the case.

Great group of folks. Very helpful and attentive to my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Jiffy Lube of Durango to anyone looking for a quick and economic solution to an A/C problem or issue. The technician was very knowledgeable and focused on getting my problem fixed in a timely fashion. Their was no short cutting. Long story short “highly recommended”

I moved here a few months ago and the first place I went for an oil change was just disastrous. Took over 1.5 hours of waiting. They didn’t even fox what I asked to be fixed. So I tried Durango jiffy lube and it was exceptional! Was quick, did everything, super nice and professional. I’ll definitely be using them again.

The guys were super friendly but that was the most expensive oil change I have ever had. I normally go directly to the dealer but decided to pull in here instead. They charge 21.00 more than the dealer does. Usually, the dealer charges more. The guy also told me they vacuum your car so I said okay, I will go ahead this time. But they did not vacuum at all. They even marked on my ticket vacuum completed. I had to go back in and get them to do what they were supposed to. Makes you wonder do they really do all they say they do. Did they really top off my washer fluid? All in all, it was 90.00 for an oil change and tire rotation. Not going back.

Visiting from out of town, had car battery go dead on the morning leaving to go back home. These guys did a good fast job getting a new battery installed and we were on our way in less than an hour.

I drive a regular pickup. Went in to get air filter, oil/filter change. Location didnt have my oil or oil filter. They called a local OReilly, said they had 6 qt. I drive 20 minutes to the orielly, they only have 5 of 6 and no air filter either. The OReilly tells me their other location has one qt and the air filter. I drive 20 minutes to the other OReilly, they have my 6th quart, but no oil filter. I go to Napa, they have an oil filter. I drive 20 minutes back, drop the truck. They say my rotors are bad and need replaced- OK I give them the go-ahead. Takes 5 hours. Extra 2 hour wild goose chase they sent me on, 5 hours of waiting (got there at 1 got my keys back at 6), and $1000 later..not super satisfied. Missed half a day of work AND I coach for a local high school and missed that practice due to the miscommunication/sluggishness.

One price was noted and then another billed. Not sure why it was said something would cost 55 and then the bill is 70. I think its best practice to just say the actual total. Customer service was great and they were very helpful and speedy. Just better communication on total expenses would be appreciated.

This is the first ever review on Google. I am over 50 and I dont really do reviews. However, the service at this location was outstanding.I have changed my oil. I have done a 100,000 MI tune up. I know how to do simple things on cars however Ive never changed my oil in my differential and I was in a rush and I needed it to be done right for a trip that I am taking.Peter, my service advisor kept me up to date gave me choices and in the middle of my $400 fluid change he noticed that I did not need one of services that I agreed to. I was standing near the truck when the guy in the oil pit heard Peter and I speaking and he was very friendly and informative as well. Peter and I were speaking about my other vehicle which is 5 years shy of being classic and it needs some serious work on suspension. I am taking my old Chevy truck there in June I will keep you posted on my second Google post.I wish i could have given 6 stars or a five plus.

My husband and I were traveling out of state in our Audi. We received a temperature warning (check coolant warning) and went to the nearest Jiffy Lube because that’s where we service the car when we’re home. The employee greeted us promptly and was friendly. When he checked our service records he discovered we were well within the scheduled maintenance intervals. A technician topped off our coolant and we were on our way within minutes! Thanks, Jiffy Lube!

After not knowing what oil was best for my vehicle staff were quick to provide recommendations . After requesting the wrong oil, I was able to call and request for a different oil which they were able to confirm was appropriate for my vehicle. No issues in the past other my own. Friendly staff, were responsive, and we’re able to check me out within a reasonable amount of time considering the pace of staff attending to other customers

Very thankful the Durango team was able to get my vehicle in for brake servicing. With a long drive ahead it is great to know I have stopping power again.

Needed an oil change while on road trip. Wanted to get back on road. They offered to rotate tires in another 10 minutes. Had us finished up in 30 minutes. Enjoyed sodas and popcorn and clean restrooms while we waited.

Very nice staff. Very quick service.But when I got in the car to leave I noticed that there was oil in the interior of the car on the shifter steering wheel and door handle. Not a bad thing just would have liked it to be cleaned up behind them.

Came in one afternoon trying to get a tire patched, found out the tires were 10 years old so I needed new ones. They were able to get a set from a local shop on the same day and get me a good price as well. Very positive experience.

Longest wait for oil change ever experienced. Add to that a 50% price premium equals the worst oil change experience ever. Owner needs to monitor operations. Lots of crew members doing nothing to advance productivity or customer satisfaction.

I bought a 3 pack of oil changes online, and purchased the upgraded package to get fully synthetic oil. During my oil change, one of the technicians brought me my cabin air filter to show me how dirty it was, and try to get me to buy a replacement. Except...I had just changed it a few weeks previous and it wasnt even visibly dirty. But me being a woman, Im guessing its standard practice to try to up-sell whatever they can get away with, the assumption being that I wouldnt know any better. I believe they also showed me a clean engine air filter and told me it was dirty, then tried one other extra service, but I think the guy figure out that I wasnt buying it and didnt try very hard. Oh, and if I remember correctly, a new cabin air filter was offered to me for $40.I declined all up-sells, and when I went to check out for presumably $9-10 (the 3-pack included 5 quarts of oil, and my vehicle takes 6, so I knew Id have to pay for the extra quart), my total was ~$40. I had purchased the 3-pack of oil changes, so I asked what I was being charged for. The guy told me that the package I purchased was just for the oil, not the labor. That is complete BS, if you read all the find print on the oil change package. I asked him what my total would have been without the package I had bought, and he told me $80. This made the 3-pack give me a savings of literally $0 (in fact, I think it was a couple dollars MORE expensive all said and done). I told him not to use the coupon then - I would just pay in full, get a refund for the 3-pack, and never do business there again. So he took everything off and started over, then tried to charge me $112. For an oil change! I said, you just told me it would be $80 and he said That was with all the discounts. SMH. He ended up making it right (kind of) and honored the $80 he had quoted me, but even that is ridiculous IMO. The employee agreed that the online promotion was misleading, and that other customers had complained of the same. I think that individual employee did the best he could do in the situation, but the business overall is shady. I will not go here again.ETA: After writing this, I see that others have mentioned prices including a tire rotation. I did not have a tire rotation - they literally wanted to charge me $112 for an oil change. In the end I paid $80, which is still exorbitant. I believe $40 would be fair, so if you would like to make it right, Jiffy Lube, please directly offer me a $40 refund and not a copy/paste invitation to email you more details. These are the details.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS. The kids working here on Friday, June 18 at 1:30pm are absolute snakes. They tried to tell me my tires had severe dry rot and were unsafe to drive on, just to make an $800 tire sale. My tires are fine, not even close to having severe dry rot. Just for fun I had them inspected at a real tire shop in town the same afternoon. The manager and a tech came out to inspect them, and both said that they were absolutely fine to be driving on, and said whoever said they had dry rot didn’t have any idea what they’re talking about.Three of the workers at jiffy lube sat there and said to my face “I wouldn’t drive on them.” SNAKES. By far the worst experience I ever had at a jiffy lube.

This is a rip off company, we were from out of town and we needed an oil change. We waited for over an hour only to be told the oil could not be changed because of a dented oil pan that would cost $500 to replace. We took it to the dealership to only find out their was nothing wrong with the oil pan, oil was changed for $57.

I took my car there and the worker Isaac who helped me was so nice and explained everything so I can understand it, they are all super welcoming and fast workers I will definitely be taking my car back to them. Thank you guys for helping me.

Employees said I needed new brakes asap and I didnt think so. I took my car to two other businesses locally and both said that my brakes were fine with a little over 50% life in them. I understand that they were trying to sell me but dont lie to your customers. Or maybe they just didnt know that my brakes were still good. Either way, thats not good service. Wont be returning.

I went to Jiffy Lube last week for an oil change. Per usual, I was given a list of things that needed to be replaced on my Tacoma.I was informed that my battery tested at 4% and it would be best to get a new one. I agreed to the new battery only to remember that I bought the battery not even a year ago. The next day I went back to Jiffy Lube and paid $19 to get the said ( bad ) battery back. I took it to be tested at the place it was purchased and it in fact, is absolutely fine.In total I spent $348 on an oil change and a battery that I did not need. This does not include the core charge. This matter needs to be addressed immediately.

Had oil changed while driving back home from TN to OR. Was offered an air filter for $29.95, when reviewing the bill I noticed that I was charged $89.95 for the filter. They dug my old filter out of the trash and reinstalled and refunded the difference. Pretty sad. During the service my backup camera was disconnected and that was not corrected.

Peter and the entire crew are on point. Durango is not know for its service but this jiffy lube was one of the best service experiences I have had in the last 10 years here. Thanks guys and keep up the good work!

These guys are usually pretty dialed, today not so much. Almost 1.5 hrs from start to finish once my hood was popped. Unacceptable is all I can say.

Usually Jiffy Lube is great with customers and the gentleman that told me that they didnt have the oil I needed and to try back tomorrow was no different and treated me in a friendly manner. When I returned the next day a woman came to greet me and caught me very off guard as she was incredibly rude. Ill be going back to my usual oil change location for good now.

This was the vehicles second oil change at this location after the check oil light came on before the car was due for another service. I was told the wrong oil was used last time and they recommended a flush for $50. I didnt think I should have to pay $50 for them to flush their mistake. I was treated rudely by the tech (this was all over the phone because my 16 yr old daughter had taken her car in for the oil change by herself). Then I spoke with the manager who told me it was my fault because I picked the oil. They give you 3 options to choose from and youd think all options given are appropriate, I guess I should of asked which one wouldnt screw up the car! Thomas said he wasnt the manager of the store at that time (less than 3 months ago) and his attitude was not professional. I told him to flush, put in correct oil, and that would be my last business with Jiffy Lube. He said OK, thats fine. They must not rely on repeat, local business at this store. Travelers who need a quick oil change are long gone by the time its apparent any mistakes were made. I only began using Jiffy Lube for the convenience of my kids being able to deal with their own car maintenance without an appointment. That oil change and flush cost $154.88. Thats about twice as much as my mechanic would charge. Find a good local shop, I love Auto Works, the staff is great and I completely trust them.

Upon arrival, we were told it would take 30-45 minutes. We decided to stay and wait. After we had been there for 30 minutes waiting, another car pulled up and they were serviced before us. We did not get into the bay until we had waited over an hour. The service performed was fine, but we have always used Jiffy Lube, and our experience has always been that we got in and out in about 30-45 minutes...not this place.Update: noticed the response was a cut/paste that is sent to all reviewers. Nothing was said or done to remedy the complaint except talk.

Very dissatisfied with the service. Said they would give me the $15 discount and then forgot. Then wanted to charge my credit card for another full transaction. Did not clean the windows just wiped them off. Last time I use Jiffy lube!

They opened the last bay since the other cars werent moving as fast as expected. They had their masks ON their face this time. Last time every staff had the mask under their chin. One guy took time to explain differential and transfer case to me. They seem ed happy today.

Came in for an oil change and they tried to get me to spend $1,100 on stuff I didn’t need then left my throttle position sensor unplugged and the cables to my battery loose. Didn’t even make it out the station before my engine light came on. These guys are either crooked or entirely incompetent.

Chris and his team gave me the best service today. They explained my options so I could make educated decisions, and ultimately I ended up replacing my rear brake rotars. Ill definitely be coming back and referring this location to others. THANK YOU!

I have never In my whole life paid a total of 90.98 for tire rotation and oil change! 70 dollars for an oil change thats way too much 24 for my tires being rotated was okay. But before I came was told it was going to cost me about 35-45 dollars and so I thought that was reasonable. But 70 for a oil change thats alot! And plus watching everything from outside saw some of the men throw my rims and slide them accross the concrete and I didnt appreciate that. I felt I was getting gipped because I was a women and telling me to replace my air filter for double the price of what it normally costs 14-16 dollars but charging me 30 for a air filter when its normally 14-16dollars. And also was told in person that it was going to average 35-45 for the oil change.

Getting my breaks replaced was pretty expensive, but to be fair it probably would have been just as expensive anywhere else.The employees are awesome people! They’re great at their jobs, friendly, exc.I would definitely recommend the jiffy lube here in Durango.

Stopped in around 2:00 pm with only two cars in front (one already in the bay). Requested an oil change and a tire rotation. Also ended up getting a cabin air filter as well. Only two bays were open and there were only two cars lined up at the other bay. I’d say there were around there were at least six visible employees in the shop. All that being said, it still took nearly an hour and a half to have these services completed.On top of that, after receiving the bill I was charged $24.99 for a tire rotation that I was told would be $9.99. After they had fixed that, they removed the coupon I had for the oil change. I was already so set back in my day I didn’t even bother arguing for the $10.00.Then, the cherry on top, the promised vacuuming they stated never happened so I had to go back, yet again, and have them hold true to their word. All they had to say was, “we’ve been having problems with that”. Once that was completed, I was left with oily hand prints all over my dash.They’d done such a poor job I decided to pull out in their lot to check and ensure they actually changed the oil. Thankfully that had at least been done.Would not recommend getting an oil change here.

Had some issues!!!!!! Thomas the store manager and Sam made it happen. Truly great customer service from those two. Won’t say anything about others that got my heart rate up. Couldn’t fix the issue and sent it to another shop but hey I’m fine with that after a good informative conversation with Thomas. They tried that’s all that counts in my book.

Must have dropped the oil filter onto the skid plate because there is a pool of oil on my garage floor. Also, the truck is 1/4 quart low. Also the sales guy told me my tires were worn out and needed to be replaced. The tires on the truck are less than a week old. This is the first time I have not done the oil change myself. I have learned my lesson...never again!!!07-14-21 It gets worse... I recently changed my oil and saw the oil filter they dropped still on the skid plate. They never made an attempt to retrieve it...disgusting!

In Colorado, where face masks are required, almost none of the employees were wearing masks. Those few that were wearing masks were wearing them just over their chin.Due to Covid risk we opted to sit in our car while the service was performed. As we watched, the technician, while attempting to remove the air filter, dropped a screw down into the engine. Nothing was said about it and the screw is still inside somewhere.When the service was complete we attempted to start our car and it would not turn over. They said that the battery was dead, and we needed a new one. We have never before had any problems with the battery, and told to fix whatever they had broken. After 20 minutes the car finally started. They still insisted that we needed a new battery.We drove directly to an auto parts store and had the battery tested. It was fine.Was this a scam to get me to buy a battery that I did not need? I dont know, but I was definitely disgusted by the entire experience.

Quick and easy. There are so many little things wrong with my car and they found all of them, gave quotes, but weren’t pushy about it.Overall, excellent experience. Will bring all 3 cars here from now on.
