I came here once before for a cut and they were great. The girl at reception was professional and kind, and my stylist was wonderful and did a great job on my hair. This last time, not so much. I went in and was getting some serious mean girl vibes from the blue haired receptionist who was maybe 20. My stylist was nice enough however she kinda lied to me about cutting my hair. I was doing a big chop and she said she would “start with a little chunk to see how I felt” then quickly proceeds to cut off my ten inch ponytail. Granted I was committed to the cut and was glad to be rid of it, but why trick me? I won’t be spending my money here anymore because I can definitely find better customer service elsewhere. Sorry to leave a less than stellar review but I loved my first experience and wish the stylists would put more effort into at least being a bit more respectful.

Wonderful nails!I had Molly asmy nail artist. Molly was wonderful. So kind and amazing customer service! She is so nice. The nails came out beautiful. Great color selection and options. Very clean and neat. I recommend coming here!

Just had my first experience with Casey at Touch of Plasch for a cut and blonde balayage. First of all the sanitary practices of the salon were phenomenal. I felt so safe and comfortable! Second, my stylist Casey was awesome, super personable and fun! She rocked my color and cut. Lastly, this place is so affordable! I will be back again and again!

Alex has been cutting/coloring my hair for several years now and I couldnt imagine wanting to go anywhere else. The entire crew treats me like family, the price is right and best of all, Alex pays close attention to whats important to me.I always get exactly what I want, he offers great advice for products (without ever being pushy) and most of all, hes just so much fun to visit with. I look forward to my time in his chair! (Book early, hes understandably very popular!)

I have been having my hair colored, cut and styled by Alex for a few years he does an amazing job every time. I have never had a bad cut or color. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend anyone go to A Touch of Plasch, all of the stylists are great!

This is a great place. My stylist Taylor worked with me to figure out what I wanted and executed it flawlessly. If youre looking for experienced professionals and fair pricing this is the place. I also appreciated the hair survey that I filled out when I came in. As a first time customer I liked that the place was trying to get to know me and my hair. I will return for another haircut!

I personally do not get my hair done here. I however do get product and tools. Alex always is knowledge about new products and the why’s and how’s of each of these items.I have never had a bad interaction when I have been there. Easy to get there and they offer several product choices.

Great haircut for a great price. The ladies there were very professional and made the haircut very fun. I was planning on getting a pretty drastic cut so I was a little nervous, but Julie hyped me up and I’m so glad we went with the original plan!

Haircut is uneven and contacted salon for a refund, the owner (Eric) offered for me to come in to have redone or purchase product. Store manager DID NOT honor Erics word and would only provide the opportunity to come have it fixed by the same stylist who didnt do it right the first time. Other stylists might be great at this salon, but poor customer resolution from the store manager I would not recommend this place.

I deliver their news paper every day. The store front is always clean. As is the side walk. As a carrier I rely on clear sidewalks. Ive never had a problem with them

Eric is a color genius. He cares about his clients & keeps meticulous record of what was done so if we need to tweak the next time around it’s documented.

All the stylists are very good, but Alex is the best. Fast funny and gives a great cut. No messing around with my hair after his cut looks great no matter what i do or dont.

Wouldnt go anywhere else! Eric rocks! As does the rest of the crew there. Always friendly and professional! Highly recommended

I now get all my haircuts and eyelash extensions done here! I got a hair cut done by Casey and it was fantastic! The previous place I went to gave me kind of a choppy haircut so I had my fingers crossed that she would be able to make it look better.Casey listened to my requests and gave me some pointers on what she could do to even it out. She used all high end products such as Aveda and my hair smelled and felt amazing after I was done!I have continued to use A Touch Of Plasch for my eyelash extensions and I love them! Taylor does a great job and listens to the type of look I want each time. After using 3 other lash technicians in the twin ports area, none compare to Taylors work! I have continued to use her for 3 months now.

I went in to get an eyelash fill. I left with less lashes than i came in with.The excuse was that she doesnt know how to do cluster lashes because she was new. I was ok with singles if she was just filling in the bare spots. She plucked more of my lashes off and left 2 original clusters which where longer, and thicker than the clusters she replaced them with. I was shocked at how many she plucked off, since she had to pull pretty hard, and kept apologizing for the pain. I have never had someone pluck lashes that werent loose. when she was done i mentioned how much shorter they were than my original lashes, which stuck out like a sore thumb. She denied it telling me they were the same as the last girl did.I was not liking the shorter lashes, and called to ask if she could get the correct size. She called me back the next day. I told her that my eye lids hurt, and i had noticed that she had glues some of the lashes to the skin well above my lash line. The glue really irritated my lids, they were red and swollen. She refused to refund my money, but by this point i was not going to go back and let her continue to practice. I really wish she would have been honest and just turned me away, and not messed them up. I am not only out what i paid, but now im out and extra $175 because i have to get them completely redone! I attached a picture of the finished product, this was about 15 minutes after I left the salon. Its day 3 and they have all fallen out, but my original 2 clusters.

I recently had my eyelashes done here for $100... and they fell out right away. I was very disappointed because that’s a lot of money to spend when they will fall out after just 3 days. The only cause to that is them not being done properly. It was a waste of money and I will not be returning. So if you’re looking to get your lashes done, get your moneys worth and go somewhere else!

I had just moved to Duluth, was getting married an wanted to get me & my bridesmaids hair did. I, myself was wearing faux lox’s extensions that I wanted pinned up in a style. I called this place an asked if they could pin up my faux lox’s & their response was “ we don’t do that type of hair” then hung up in my ear before I could even ask if he could do the bridesmaids. I’ve never wrote a review about any establishment but that experience was so rude an uncalled for a felt I had to. They don’t seem like friendly people at all!

Im horribly indecisive and confusing when I get a haircut but Alex somehow made my hair look amazing anyway. I loved his creativity and ideas! I seriously recommend this place for a great cut and style

Bad experience and bad customer service. I wouldnt recommend to anyone. There are plenty of better salons in Duluth.

My wife and I have started going to Touch of Plasch over the past eight months and their standards are so naturally high that when we go for our hair needs and we observe others at those times comming in and leaving with their hair done it turns out all clients are extrodinarily satisfied . We are regulars now .

Horrible experience. Horrible customer service, they don’t care about customers at all. My eyelashes feel out right away after spending 100 dollars. Will never return.
