Ive lived here for 5 years and about to renew for another. The location is ideal and within walking distance to all the best Denver has to offer. The apartments are nice (Ive lived in 2 of them) and the views are amazing. Bailey, Nick, and the rest of the office staff are very friendly and accommodating. The building is older so there are maintenance issues from time to time but they are addressed pretty much immediately whenever I report anything. The people on here complaining about smelling smoke or hearing people having a good time outdoors occasionally shouldnt live in an apartment complex in the middle of the city -- there are plenty of quite places out in the burbs for less rent!

I did enjoy my apartment for a short period of time. However, the value is just not there. Its overpriced and filled with entitled, self-centered children. When I walked this property I asked specifically about noise and smoking. I was told that there were policies in place to deter tenants from violating the rights of others and their right to living here peacefully. Since moving in I had to deal with cigarette smoke during the day and marijuana smoke at night. So I have to keep my doors closed (which they do not recommend because they want us to keep the apartments well ventilated). This place is advertised as smoke free. Im not a prude I just have some breathing issues and this had been a problem no matter how many times it was reported by myself or others. So I had to accept this as a fact of life living in any apartment building in Denver. The biggest issue was with noise. Im not sure when the entitled individuals moved in below me but at the start of quarantine they became a nuisance. This is also the same time that customer service went out the window. The staff hasnt been as responsive to tenants since Brad left. They just want to make sure were still paying rent. We reported their activities to the day staff and maybe it was noted but they told us to call the after hours number moving forward. That didnt help. EVERY night since the start of quarantine they spend the ENTIRE night from around 9/10pm until daybreak on their balcony listening to music, drinking, smoking, loudly talking or screaming, and being confrontational sometimes verbally assaulting people who would ask them to be quiet. So we decided if this was the caliber of people we had to live with and the staff wasnt going to do anything to protect the paying tenants who actually respect the community policies, then it was time to leave.

Ive lived here for 8 months now and love it. I feel the management is great and try to be as accommodating as possible. Its an older building, so its not perfect. Sometimes an elevator is down, etc. But Ive found the staff to be really attentive on maintaining the building, and are constantly working on improvements. Anytime Ive submitted maintenance request its addressed right away and fixed within a couple days. The units are updated and feel clean and modern; the view is amazing. Some of the reviews refer to a frat house vibe but I havent found that at all. This is a young neighborhood in general, and occasionally people can be loud. But most of the time people are respectful.

Was in love with the apartment but the leasing staff are rude liars so Ill be taking my business elsewhere.Theyll say anything to get your $50 application fee - dont believe any of it.There are plenty of nicer places with leasing staff who are honest. Also from what Ive read from other reviews the place is unkempt and they rent mostly to college kids so its got a frat house atmosphere and frat house level of cleanliness.Go elsewhere!

Like everything in Denver, it is a bit overpriced and full of hype, but that is to be expected. The building has newer amenities that are sufficient. The problem with this place is the tenants. They trash the building and management fails to hold them accountable or do anything about it. Ive had my vehicles damaged twice while parked in the building lots - first time the person next to me hit my door and caused $2k of damage; just the other day someone threw a jar of relish off the balcony onto the hood of my truck, denting my hood and smashing my front window. Management didn’t care. No notice to tenants about the incidents either. The building is supposed to be non-smoking, but every time I am on my balcony I smell cig smoke. I just got in from walking my dogs tonight and there was dog feces smeared all over the lobby floor. No joke, there are times my dogs wont enter the elevators because they smell too much like dog pee. This place is worse than living in a college dorm. I feel sorry for how hard the cleaning and maintenance people have to work because of the disrespectful and childish tenants. Perhaps management could do a better job screening tenants and enforcing rules ...

This letter is to address Adorable Mitchell, the manager of 1000 Grant and 960 Grant.Today my husband and myself were evicted from our apartment at 960 Grant. We were behind, almost 3 months. We have no shame in this because of situations in life that became out of your control. These expenses combined with being out of work for almost a month caused us to fall behind. Many attempts were made throughout the last couple months to make this right, emails were exchanged, phone calls were made and during this whole time we were told by Adorable that “it’s either the whole sum that is due or nothing at all, no partial payments would be accepted.” So naturally we fell behind and a few hundred dollars then turns into thousands. Not the smartest business model if your trying to reclaim money or if you work in customer service. The phrase “biting of your nose in spite of your face comes to mind.” On one of our last interactions with Adorable when explaining why we were short on rent we were simply told “I don’t need to know about your life and what’s going on.” This from the GM of the leasing office. Nice. This brings me to today. On Monday of this week Adorable was given a check for all of the back rent that was due, minus $300. We explained to her that the balance would be paid this Friday-tomorrow. This however was not good enough for Adorable.I received a call from my husband this morning while at work saying he received an email stating that all of our possessions and two dogs were being moved out of our apartment while we were at work. It appears that Adorable has much confidence and bravado via email but when it comes to picking up the phone to let someone know their stuff was being thrown out she seems to come up short and lack the respect, and common decency. When I arrived home I found that my dogs had been taken to the Denver Animal Shelter and the majority of our processions sitting in the front of the building in trash bags.Adorable instructed the maintenance workers to place all of our breakables, dishes, glasses etc not on the grass that is directly in front of the building, no she had them throw our things on the cement where the majority of these objects busted and smashed and had to be thrown away. There is something fundamentally wrong with someone when you go above and beyond just to be nasty, just to prove a point. It’s gross and disgusting as a human being. But, Adorable your attempt to shame and embarrass us fell flat. We’ve picked ourselves up and moved on and we’ll do it again.I’d like to wish you, and all that were involved today the same respect, kindness, and empathy that you have shown my husband and myself.Best,Paul and Alex

Only been here for 5 months, but for the price you pay, its pretty on point. The amenities are all pretty moder. Two different things a/c units, one in the living room and the other in the bedroom. Within walking distance to several different bars and coffee shops. The management in the office is super accommodating, and will help you with anything you need. The only down sides to this place that I see or that other people complain about are very small, insignificant flaws, like the arrow lights in the elevator not working, the pool can get pretty crowded, and Charlie browns across the street can get a bit rowdy late at night, but none if it takes away from living here.

Redpeak processed my application and still took a 300$ deposit despite me deciding on somewhere else. I was not called or contacted to authorize the charge. If they’re willing to pull crooked moves like this to applicants, I can only imagine the sleazy things they do to residents.

They changed their autobill system and I thought I was covered. But I wasnt and now I am paying a $100 late fee. They also want me to pay $40 pet rent for my service animal. Everything is very cheaply made and falls apart in the place. They are only in this for the money. Not luxury.
