Where do I start? I want to believe at the core of the company that they mean well and want to do the right thing. All the office staff and service techs have been cordial, prompt and professional. Unfortunately, I wish I could conclude that for the owner, Marc Brewer. The system that was designed by Marc has been minimal at best. We live in a simple 1,000 sq. ft. Denver Bungalow. It was NOT mentioned prior to the install that better attic insulation was needed. After bidding out the project, I spent an additional $5K on spray in insulation in the attic and added an attic fan. While the spray foam has helped with the systems performance, I still strongly believe there are design flaws and will be seeking further consultation on the overall design. We are almost 3 months from the install and the wifi thermostat that I have paid for has yet to be scheduled to be installed?!? This was a simple request when I originally bid out installing a central AC system. Its a $200+ part that I am now set out on my own to try and figure out how to hook it up. I had high hopes as I have various other projects I will be under taking, but I can confirm I will not be using Marc Brewers operation. I am not one to write reviews and I, too, work for a small business and get the struggles of finding quality and reliable help. I conclude by saying that I have not received a call from Marc after requesting one from multiple Dalco employees, I bet I get a google review response now?
Dalco installed our AC and has done a great job with routine maintenance. Not only do they thoroughly inspect the system, they educated me, as the user, on best practices for thermostat settings and what air filters are best to optimize the efficiency of the system.
Our water heater stopped working and we called around and was charged 2.5x what this company quoted. The technician came out assessed the issue explained what was going on. Practiced safe COVID measures and made needed recommendations. He got my family hot water timely and even gave us time to add an extra furnace cleaning service to our appointment. We will definitely use this company again!!!

So first and foremost I initially inquired on Aprilairs website to install a in home humidifier in our house since its so dry in Colorado. On Aprilairs website they have you choose three companies they recommend to use. One of which was Dalco. They were the only company to call me the very next morning to explain how the humidifier works and to answer all my questions. I immediately booked with them to come. They were prompt, timely and got it installed beautifully.When Traverse came the very first time to install the humidifier he noticed that the inducer motor in the furnace had gone bad. He explained they could replace it and I booked them to come back out a week later to replace the motor. So he installed the humidifier and all was good!Now this story doesnt end with a very nice gentleman coming in and installing our unit. No no, buckle in because it gets crazy.After about a week of having the unit, the house was simply not getting any humidity. I contacted Marc, who was very responsive and is a very nice guy, who immediately got me scheduled to be seen again to resolve the issue.The next day Travers came back and looked at the unit, verified it was all connected properly, changed a few settings and said to keep an eye out and when they come back to install the motor well check and make sure its running properly.Well unfortunately the next day the humidity seems to get worse and he came back out a third time, early morning and squeezed us in to help this the issue resolved.Mind you the unit was working 100% properly and nothing Dalco or Travers did was causing my lack of humidity issue.The third trip around we discovered that not only the inducer motor had gone bad, but the control panel in my furnace had too. On top of that, the Nest thermastat we had, dont reccomend, was causing all sorts of issues with the humidifier, turning on the a/c compressor when it was turned off, and so on.Travers had gotten everything working until he could come the very next day to install the new inducer motor and control panel for the furnace. (we pushed the repairs up to next day instead of a week)Fast forward a couple hours and the control panel shorts again. Leaving us with no heat or control of our homes temperature. I called Travers and he picked up, already home for the day mind you, and explain the situation. You know what he said? You guys have a young baby at home, theres no way Im leaving you guys without heat until tomorrow morning.He insisted on coming by after hours to, install our new ecobee, amazing unit 10/10 reccomend, replace our control panel, inducer motor and get the humidifier working again, all after hours. What an amazing human being.What started out as a simple humidifier install turned into a crazy adventure. Travers went way above and beyond to take care of my family and we are so very, very grateful.Dalco is an A+ business and we will only do business with them for all of our future HVAC needs. If you need service please do yourself a favor and call Dalco. They are amazing, nice and professional people who are wonderful to do business with. God bless you all!
We had Dalco perform a standard tune-up on our A/C unit, but while their technician was here he also noticed our sump pump wasnt working. Within an hour, hed left to get the part he needed, returned, and installed it. Thank you for going above and beyond for us!
We were without heat for 12 days during a cold snap and the temps were down to 7 degrees. Trane (furnace manufacturer) would not help our repair tech because he wasn’t certified through Trane. So once we found Dalco with a certified tech we called them in the evening and after the representative learned about us being without heat, she dispatched a tech immediately. Travors came out first thing in the morning and was so great! He was intelligent and sincerely concerned for our well being. After a long process with Trane technician on the phone- we had heat!!! He took the time to explain everything to us and we were very satisfied regarding the care this company showed us. The repair price was very reasonable and they have our business from now on!! The first person to come out made the problem worse and I was upset. After talking with Mark the owner I realized he really cares about his customers. He worked with me to send another technician to have a look at the problem. This guy was very knowledgeable and was able to identify the issue. It is the mark of a good business to work with customers who are unsatisfied. Whether they fix the problem at first or not you can trust that Mark will do his best resolve the issue. I recommend using their service.

Dalco helped us out with a same day appointment when our A/C stopped working. Travers was right on-time and while he couldnt fix our A/C in that visit (it had iced over and needed to defrost), he got us scheduled for a 7am appointment a few days later and even offered to lend us his own window A/C unit to get us through the weekend. We have a commercial warehouse that has heaters mounted toward the ceiling. Two of the four heaters were not working. Dalco did a great job for us. Im really happy we found an HVAC contractor that we can trust. We will continue to use them in the future, and recommend them highly.Our AC failed just as summer started to kick in this year. We have had problems with the unit freezing in past years, as well as problems with the motor unit. Travers came out and diagnosed and fixed the immediate problem very efficiently. He replaced our motor unit which had been mis-installed previously, and connected two of our smaller zones which were causing the freezing as there was inadequate airflow for the amount of cooling. The system works much better now.There were several things that we found great about working with Travers. First, hes a great guy - very friendly, but also hard-working and focused. He seems very competent and quickly diagnosed our problems and fixed them. He took the time to explain to us what was going on with our AC system, and also the peculiar demands that Colorados dry, thin air places on AC systems and how we could best deal with that. He also has a great work ethic - he extended his already long day to help us when the system failed entirely, and we really appreciate that.So overall, we are extremely happy with our experience with Dalco, and working with Travers. Highly recommended.

Marc met up with us and we were immediately impressed with his professionalism and normal human-being-ness. Completely honest about what was possible with our situation and the many options we had. Our old AC unit was removed the morning of our concrete removal from our driveway by Travor within a few minutes. After our concrete was poured, Ramon came in the early AM and installed the new unit on the north side of the house. Couldnt be happier... We saved over $3,000 compared to a few other competitors and had an awesome time sending our money DALCOs way.

DALCO dealt with our A/C issue in a fair and progressive manner. They tried to fix our coil before replacing the whole assembly. The repair attempt was legitimate, but in the end the entire coil needed replacement. Roman was very courteous and conscientious. You can trust this company.

Experienced on-going problems with AC since install. Dalco installed a new furnace and AC during our home renovation. Have had numerous technicians out to diagnose the problem. Each one comes up with a different solution. The last one decided we needed more cold air returns so they moved the one upstairs to a higher location on the wall and added one downstairs. $650 later and the problem still exists. The AC cannot keep the house cool on days where the outside temp exceeds 92 degrees.Update to above review.Travers was our technician and he was EXTREMELY diligent in determining what our issues were and worked to resolve them to our satisfaction. Since 9/10/19 we have not experienced any of the issues we had reported.Travers is very professional, extremely friendly and very knowledgable in HVAC.Thank you to Travers and Mark for following up on our issues and working to resolve them.
The technician was on-time, knowledgeable about my system, and efficient in the installation of my whole-house humidifier. The system is working great!
BEWARE they will over charge for service. Our furnace went out and they responded same day and fixed the problem promptly. They said it would be a $79 trip charge that would be applied to the repair and the total time at my home was less than 30 minutes (including greeting and billing/paying). It was a glow ignition that went out and with a quick Google search found the part was only $20 and they charged $248. It took them less than 10 minutes to diagnose, remove, install and check the new part. I spoke with Matt, the manger, who said that price was the industry standard cost. Wow $500/hour is darn good wages. I called around to several companies and found that this is a typical SCAM of HVACs. Many will not quote a price over the phone, but state it is something ONLY the tech can give out. Basically once they come out, they have you in a bind. You have to pay their trip fee, and they are already there to fix your problem and basically force you to pay whatever they demand. I did find a one other companies who did quote the same price of $250 but then I found others who quoted $150 and they were BBB A+, bonded, insured, and with 85+ positive Google reviews--so a very reputable company. I would skip this company and search for one with better and more reviews than DALCO.

When we needed to have our heater replaced Dalco did an amazing job. We had several estimates from various companies and Dalco was right in the middle. They took the time to explain everything and make sure that the system that we were looking at would really fit our needs. They even helped take care of filling out all of the rebate forms. We love our new system and have AC for the first time.A month late when our hot water heater started acting up, we called Dalco again.
Water heater installation was ridiculous my Dad had to help them. They worked on my furnace before I purchased and wont warranty or care! Run!!!!!

Weve had great experiences with Dalco.They always arrive when they say they will and they do quality work and their prices are very reasonable. We had them replace our A/C unit a few years back and have used them for heating and A/C ever since. They replaced our hot water heater a few days ago and after I called I had a new hot water heater within 4 hours. They made it easy as they brought the unit and thoroughly explained the work they would do. Highly recommend them.
Our 20 year old water heater quit. Marc handled getting us a quote and arranging for service on Saturday to install a new water heater. Marc and Travers arrived on time and the installation was complete in a very timely fashion. The repair person showed up on time. I was quoted a $79.00 trip charge to inspect the furnace and air conditioner for a home inspection by one of the service dispatcher at Dalco. So we choose Dalco to do the inspection in good faith based on the $79.00 price.The repair person took about an hour to do inspections.When finished he handed my husband a bill for $220.00 which needed to be paid before he left.This was a bait and switch situation.He also wrote on the SOI that if we wanted to replace the furnace a additional service charge for that trip. He also stated if we used them for the furnace installation they would subtract the $220. from the bill but charge an additional $220. plus cost of repairs to work on the air conditioner.Sorry, but we will not be using Dalco for any kind of work because we feel there is a lack of trust based the price they offer customers and what they actually charge!This was first and last experience with this company.

They came out quickly and on time, analized the problem, ordered parts, scheduled return trip to my schedule. All the way providing estimates. I mentioned issues with my thermostat and he replaced that with the same time, added cost but hey, another job done, reduced worries. Did I mention friendly.

We worked with Marc, he and his team did a great job. Reasonable price for the new furnace, they did what they said they were going to do in the time they said it would take. Like another user said, no pressure sales, no drama, go in and go it done. This was our experience too. We have worked with several contractors over the years and Marc has been the best one yet.
They get the mandatory three stars for calling me back (a rarity in Denver these days). However, technician Matt did not show up on time. Had to call twice just to see what was going on, and only after stating that I wanted to cancel did Matt contact me. Said he was on his way, and would arrive an hour and forty five minutes after the time on the invoice. So I cancelled and will look elsewhere. The owner Marc seemed like a reasonable fellow though.
I have used Dalco multiple times for new installations and have been impressed and pleased every time. They are professional, responsive, and incredibly experienced. On top of that, they are patient and they take the time to explain what they are proposing. Its rare to find a company that delivers more than they promise, but Dalco is such a company. I have recommended them to my friends and anybody I meet who is looking for HVAC service for their home.
DALCO installed my boiler and did a good job for a good price. Unfortunately, about a year and a half later the boiler stopped working. This isnt DALCOs fault, but getting them to come out and service the boiler has been awful. They missed the Tuesday morning appointment and rescheduled for Wednesday morning. No one showed up for that appointment either. They promised to have someone out by 10:00, but they missed that appointment too. Maybe they are great when they get to your house, but I will never know. For installation I would give them five stars. For service I give them zero stars.

I had Dalco install an Aprilaire 600m humidifier and connect to my nest. There were some issues getting the humidifier to work with the nest initially, but Roman stuck with it to the end like a trooper and was able to get everything squared away perfectly despite a tricky multi-zone set-up. Highly professional personnel and install. Jared and Marc were great as well!
Michael did an outstanding job, quickly identifying the problem and then fixing it. As a bonus, he showed me how to reset the pilot light on my fireplace. We now have 31% humidity, which is perfect for us. DALCO and Michael exceed expectations.
Cold called the owner Mark looking to purchase a blower motor as ours just went out. Im a DIY guy and wasnt looking to pay the $800 a separate HVAC company quoted me to replace it. Mark kindly advised me that he wasnt in the parts supply business, and that unfortunately he had no additional service calls available for the day I called (late afternoon Friday). Long story short, he recognized my predicament (no heat, freezing temps, not willing to spend $800). Mark, out of the goodness in his heart located a motor for me, PAID FOR IT IN ADVANCE, told me where to pick it up, and we settled up later. I was blown away by his trust in a complete stranger, but he said it best when he said, where would we be in this world without a little trust? The world could use a few more guys like Mark.

As a real estate agent my previous HVAC company/technician had moved out of state and was looking for a new company to not only service my needs personally but to refer to my clients. Dalco, I can say after my personal experience can and will fit that need. Amazing followup by my technician who thought the problem was fixed the first time but when it was not he came back to get it fixed and was willing to come back until it was. When your furnace quits working on a freezing winter day, you need someone that you can trust to come out as soon as possible. Dalco sent a technician within an hour, he picked up the parts and my heat was restored promptly. I also felt like the amount charged for the parts and service was fair.Dalco also installed my new central a/c which went without any issues and was affordable.

In July 2019, I asked DALCO to give me an estimate to install an Aprilaire 8126x fresh air vent to the furnace. Marc (owner) came out and asked why I wanted this. I explained the newly installed Trane furnace and ac (installed by a different dealer) have caused increased humidity in my home. (No, I don’t have water leaks, standing water, etc) Marc took a real interest in trying to figure out the cause. He called Trane and Aprilaire technical support for help. He spent a good 2 hours at my home trying to find the cause, which is still outstanding. Marc gave me a terrific estimate to install the Aprilaire unit. A couple days later Travers from DALCO came out to install it. He also tried troubleshooting the cause of the increased humidity but couldn’t explain it. Travers did an excellent and thorough job at installing the unit. He is a very personable individual, very polite and genuinely interested in providing the best support he can to a homeowner......... In the end, I can’t thank Marc and Travers enough. They are both exceptional professional people that are genuinely concerned for the homeowner. In the future, I will only use DALCO for any and all my hvac needs. I would recommend them to anyone, they are the best.
New central AC installed then a new furnace. Bottom line is that my house is cool and comfortable on a 98 degree day. Some frustrations along the way but all’s well that end’s well. Give ‘em a try.
Everyone is very nice, but scheduling is far out, like weeks to get someone to come over. Then another week to order a part! Then it took almost a month for them to send the bill which has just a price, so there is no way to determine how this cost came about. I requested an itemized bill to break it down and see how they came to this cost, and was told they dont do that! Ok...
The DALCO checkup by the technician, Matt, was very well done.He explained everything he was doing and what we, as homeowners, need to do and watch out for. Also, I am very impressed by our Trane equipment and how well it has held up over the years. Thanks for the thoroughness. Matt is a very valued employee -- I appreciated his care and concern.

We have had Dalco come to the house three times, once to check the A/C unit, about 2-3 yrs ago, more recently for an issue with our thermostat and a few weeks later to have the furnace serviced. We were very pleased with the service and prompt appointment setting. We had the same tech, Ramone, come the last two times and he is great. Very nice, friendly, honest. Should we need any further heating or cooling servicing, we will call Dalco.

I have an old house (built in 1924). It was fitted for central heat, but never had central A/C installed. Being an old house and coupled with the fact that we bought a very new style A/C, there were some issues getting everything to work together. However, they havent given up and we are up and running.
So far so good. Had my AC unit fixed which had a leaking part and they replaced the refrigerant. Showed up a touch early. Got a confirmation the day before via email.
Everyone was professional and exactly on time, from sales rep to electricians to installers. This company operates with the utmost integrity. Highly recommended.
Annually have had my heating, humidifer and air condition serviced by Dalco who also installed the last furnace, air conditioner and humidifier for me. On time for appointments and care is done servicing. Preventive maintenance so far as prevented emergency calls.

Ive come to find out that I may be needing combustion air venting and before I found Dalco, I called 7 other businesses, all quoting astronomical amounts with ridiculous descriptions of what they would have to do to install it. I had the privilege of speaking (by chance, not specific request) with the owner Mr. Mark Brewer (if thats the correct spelling.?) Who walked me through EVERY option even down to explaining the circumstances where I possibly wouldnt NEED this thing installed (depending on certain criteria). So many places want your money or to rush you off the phone or just blow smoke but not these guys. Mark was VERY PATIENT, POLITE, SENSIBLE, AND HELPFUL. If I could give this company zero stars I would. They installed an AC Unit for me back in Aug. and on the agreed install date no one showed up and no one bothered to call me to inform me that no one will be at my home. I understand that issues arise during the day but a simple phone call would be nice. There also has been an issue with getting my rebate check from Xcel and instead of trying to offer help to one of their previous customers the owner, Marc, got into a heated email exchange with me. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere if you need any work done on your house.Out of respect for this company I will update my review on them. I finally received my rebate check from Xcel. My was due to miscommunication between myself, the Dalco sales rep and company owner (which I will take partial reposibility for). I was unaware that the homeowner needed to contact Xcel about rebates and that it had nothing to do with Dalco.The response by the business owner about myself being rude and yelling at one of his employees is 100% inaccurate. When I spoke with the dispatcher I even said I know this is not your fault, Im just trying to figure out what is going on. Marc also contacted me at the end of the day informing me about the delay in the install date, which was a full day not a half of day. Communication is my biggest complaint I have and false accusations from the business owner. Install crew did a great job!

Dalco Heating did a fantastic job on my installation. They were very informative during the installation of Furnace and AC unit. I am very pleased with their service they explained the system and took time to show me everything answer all my questions. I would recommend the Guys at Dalco for any HVAC job. Great Company and great people!

I spent $8700+ on American Standard Air and Furnace units. The team has had to come out 3 times so far to complete the job. When I asked for a demonstration of how to change the furnace filter, it was noted that the installer(s) forgot to put one in. Ive called and emailed to make an appointment to get the compartment for the furnace filter installed with no reply. It has been 20 days since this install started.
