On our first visit to Bachendorfs in Dallas, we were quickly greeted by Rick Mendoza and were treated as valued customers. We were looking for an engagement ring and Rick sat down with us and discussed the design and look we desired and along the way touched on a personal note with us. We quickly made a connection with Rick on our first visit. We returned a week or so later to work to finalize our decision and again had a great sit down with Rick to go back through the rings and diamonds. We did end up purchasing a wonderful ring and diamond from Rick and Bachendorfs and definitely recommend Bachendorfs in Dallas. We found ourselves saying how nice and genuine Rick was each time we left the store. We were also nicely welcomed by other Bachendorfs employees. We will definitely return for future jewelry needs!

Great store. I’ve bought several watches and a custom diamond necklace from here. The service is fantastic. I’m always greeted with a smile, and my sales associate, Heidi, is a pleasure to deal with. They went out of their way to get the necklace just right, and my wife loved it.

I had the BEST experience getting a ring reset into a necklace at Bachendorfs. Met with Lawrence one time & showed him a picture from pinterest/briefly explained the look I wanted. Within two weeks he had customized (stone wasnt standard dimensions so an on-hand setting wasnt an option) something 100X better than what I could have imagined! Everyone at Bachendorfs acted with great professionalism and I could not be happier. I will be a return customer for sure!

Walked in the store before Christmas to buy my wife a nice gift. The store was not busy yet no one would acknowledge me or offer to help me. I walked down the street to another jeweler and left behind a huge wad of cash there.

I have had the best experiences here! The jewelry they make is so very beautiful and the custom design process was so delightful. It was a pleasure to work with Julio and I look forward to our next visit!

Wouldn’t waste my time walking in the door. About 6 years ago I brought my wife’s wedding ring in to surprise her with a new setting. Explained what she liked and they designed and manufactured a new ring using her diamond, along with some smaller ones around the outside and on wedding band. Have randomly had a small diamond fall out and always brought back and they replaced. Brought it in a few weeks ago and am told the setting is wore out and needs to be totally redone. Over $2000 repair. I complained as this is either a design or manufacturing flaw and I shouldn’t have to pay for that. They came back and told me they would do it for about $950. Now I’m really mad. First that I’m being asked to pay, and second that you all of a sudden can do it for less than half what was originally quoted. I again complained and they didn’t care. Just had me come and pick it up. Will be taking by business elsewhere and will never step foot inside a Bachendorfs again. I encourage you to do the same. Know people that have had wedding rings for 50 years and settings aren’t wore out, somehow my wife’s is after less than 6 years and not everyday wear.

Rick was so patient and kind as soon as we walked in the door! We had a negative experience at a different jeweler and I was getting discouraged about buying a new Rolex to propose to my boyfriend. Rick was immediately so much better and had me excited again! So thankful for this place and the special memory they made for us!

Best place in Dallas to pick up a new Rolex. There’s 2 Bachendorfs stores but I try to direct my business here whenever I possibly can. Nino and the whole staff here are the best of the best. Treats you like family and goes above and beyond to make sure you don’t leave without being 100% satisfied.

I researched every jewelry store in Dallas, or so it seemed, looking for the perfect wedding band.My fiancé had surprised me with not so subtle hints about including diamonds in the design. I quickly found tastful and diamonds are a rare combination on a man’s wedding ring.Luckily there is Laura!Laura Goodman asked precise question. Walked me through a design process that was informative easy and quick. Within minutes we had designed the perfect ring.One last problem. I needed the ring in less than two weeks. Laura promised me I would get it in time. And she delivered.I still catch my husband secretly admiring his band, tastefull diamonds and all.Thank you Laura for all you did to make this process an endearing memory.

I had the pleasure of meeting jewelry salesman Justin Schultz back in April, as I contacted Bachendorfs to inquire about a watch for my fiancé. I informed him, that I was a month shy from my wedding date and I wanted to present this gift to him on the day of our wedding ceremony. Justins enthusiasm and professional demeanor was immediately displayed over the telephone, and he assured me he would place this particular watch aside until I could arrive the following week. I arrived to Bachendorfs, and had the opportunity to meet Justin personally. He was attentive and the energy he exhibited clearly showed that he loves his job! Justin listened intently as I shared my love story regarding my wonderful fiancé, and he wished us the very best in our upcoming nuptials. He couldnt wait to meet my better half and he informed me that he would outfit my soon to be husbands time piece to fit perfectly upon our return from our wedding/honeymoon. A month later, I returned to Bachendorfs as the giddy Bride with my husband in tow! My love story continued with all the excitement, and I could tell Justin was truly over the moon happy for us! We showed off our wedding rings, and to my surprise, he interjected with a brilliant idea to add more pizazz to my gorgeous ring! Justin suggested creating and designing my wedding band and within minutes we were putting pen to paper and drawing this new creation!! Great staff, good selection

My fiance had my engagement ring sized here and had a wonderful experience and our family has had similarly good service for other jewelry transactions.I brought my watch in in September for cleaning and battery replacement. I heard nothing while the watch was being looked at, unless I called to check in. They ended up keeping the watch for 3 weeks. When I picked it up, it still had polish on it as though they didnt quite finish, they told me it had been sent back to the manufacturer but couldnt tell me why, and then tried to charge me more than was quoted to me at the time I dropped it off.To top it all off, I have had the watch back for less than a month and its not keeping time. When I called in to discuss the situation and my frustration, I was told they could not (or would not) answer any questions over the phone without me bringing the watch back in. There was no apology, concern or even acknowledgement of my frustration. Im disappointed and confused.

I found the customer service is really excellent. One of the very few Dallas businesses that cares for their customers. Im a real fan.

We stopped in to request a quote on a custom wedding band. The man assisting us seemed uncertain about the process and provided virtually no information or insight on how to proceed. He kept insisting that we had to pay for a CAD before we could get a quote and when my fiancé asked if it was possible to just get a rough estimate he very rudely told us that if we wanted to get a quote right away there is a store down the street we should get out and go there instead.We left immediately and decided to take his rather nasty advice. Turns out it was great for us- since we stopped by Matthew Trent Custom Jewlery Design and they have been absolutely wonderful to work with instead! Thanks Bachendorfs for the great advice and for chasing us out before we could give you any of our business.
