My van broke down.. initially I called a different tow company but was referred to Gene’s. It was on my way to work so I didn’t really have time to look at any reviews and determine if I’d call. I called and got a driver in about 30/45 mins. The lady(can’t remember her name) was nice.. didn’t have a problem with customer service. Fast forward to the driver, Matt. That guy is super nice! We talked while he loaded my van and until the Uber showed up. I told him where to park the van once he got to the destination and all went well. I’ll use them again... hopefully not anytime soon though. The reviews aren’t that great but honestly everyone has different experiences 🤷🏾‍♀️ based off mine I’ll recommend them to others.

Great experience with Gene Meyers Towing. Driver Dustin West showed up very promptly (under 30 minutes from initial call to dispatch), was very friendly and professional. Quote was accurate and service was great! Most times that you need a tow, youre already having a pretty bad day, so having Dustin show up and help us out so quickly and smoothly went a long way toward turning the day around.

You have to have the title or affidavit of sale for them to buy your car. And it has to run. But... if it still ran... why would I want to sell them my car??Very friendly and courteous staff. Gave helpful information and advice freely. Im just bitter about my car.

I got my car towed... & In it was ALL MY MONEY.. I had forgot & left it right on the front seat.. my smaller little side window had recently been broken out & ONLY black duck tape covers it!! SO EVEN WHEN LOCKED its NOT hard @ all to get into my car @ anytime.. if u wanted to!! plus my money wasnt in like plain view or anything but easily enough to find if anyone even took 1 min to take a good glance around at my stuff that in my car.. anywaysAfter 5 days of being in tow yard when I got my car out MY MONEY WAS STILL RIGHT WHERE I HAD LEFT IT!!!SHOCKING OTHER COMPANYS HAVE BROKEN OR GOTTEN INTO MY PREVIOUS CARS WHEN ONLY LEFT IN TOW YARD FOR UNDER 24 HRS & stuff was stolen from my car FROM OTHER TOW COMPANYS I WILL SAY THIS IS AN HONEST COMPANY WITH HONEST TOW TRUCK DRIVERS!!!A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE ON THE GENE MEYERS TEAM!!!

Predatory practices have left a bad taste in my mouth. I understand they do a job. But they are very predatory in tge pursuit of money.

My car was towed to Gene Meyer last week, after 2 days I paid to towing my car back to my house, I thought that I candrive it home to safe $200. The girl there at customer service said that she can’t refund back my money. I said to her how is that, you should be able to refund. I told her that if I didn’t like your customer service, I can dispute that . She got angry and refunded my money back and said to me that the only option to get my car out to pay full amount in cash. I didn’t do that and I let my insurance company take care of it and get it out. It is definitely the worse customers service I have ever had in my life. They were very rude and greedy, they only care about getting your money, I will definitely will never use them again and you should not as well.

They are short with you and I dont think there completely honest about things. They did this before to me when i had a car towed there. They wanted to tall me it was totaled when it wasnt.

They impounded a car that i had sold 9 months prior (the buyers did not register) and without billing me they went straight to collections. No questions. I am poor and they are legally extorting me out of $500 plus. Do not do business with them. They are shady.

Getting your car towed is never an enjoyable situation, however Holly made a bad situation a thousand times easier. Not only was her customer service impeccable, her smile was contagious. She went above and beyond to work with me and to try to figure out a solution ... Not only did she ease my mind she was able to give me something that now days we dont see to often anymore . She gave hope in humanity . That kindest and manners and willingness and just plain human compassion still exists in a few good hearted people. She is just that... Good people. . Our car battery died and the car was left behind and unfortunately towed to this yard by Bankers towing. When we arrived we requested help jump-starting the car, or being allowed to bring another car in to jump it ourselves. The staff member told us jumping the car wouldnt solve our issue, that our alternator was the problem. We wanted to try it anyway but his phone started ringing so he stopped talking to us and left us locked in the lot. We had to call the front desk to let us out. Front desk told us we will have to pay more to tow it to a nearby repair shop. No offer to let us jump the car. They recommended a repair shop that said they could look at it the next day. After we paid and the towing truck left they tell us they actually wont be able to look at it until next week. Fortunately the driver was kind enough to bring it to our house instead. Well it turns out, the car actually just needed to be jumped and now it is running. Thanks for refusing to let us jumpstart our vehicle and forcing us to pay to have it brought in, and pay again to get it out. Poor customer service and shady business practices.

I locked my keys in my suv and my phone was dead so I could not call anyone for help! Luckily Gene Meyer towing was close by so I walked over there and asked them for help. They even gave me a ride back over to my vehicle so I didnt have to walk! They got my car unlock very fast and damage free. They charged me an extra $200 because my truck is lowered so they had to take more time with it which would have been fine if they didnt completely destroy the rear of my bed. And then sit there and deny it to me saying they didnt do that. This place is criminal. Never use them. The lady in the office is unbelievably rude to customers as well. Stay away from this company! I admit I made the mistake of not looking over my truck better when picking it up. When I noticed the damage and called them the lady in the office said we didnt do that, when I insisted that they did she then said well you already left the lot to bad. Are you serious lady? I hope they all get what they deserve.

I work for doordash leave my car to find a apartment they took my car for no reason.

My car died on a city street and I left it overnight on the side of the road so the police naturally impounded it. The next day after i paid the full 221 dollars when I was trying to jump my battery the grumpy old man working the lot walked up and simply asked you gonna get that done today?. We awkwardly stared at another for 20 seconds then I pushed my car into the big island poke lot where the nice workers kindly let me keep my car there while I returned to work. I wish I could give big island poke 6 stars out of 5.

My experience with this company has not been very good. Car was towed for legitimate circumstances, but the registered owner of the car was out of town, so I called Gene Meyers Towing to see what could be done. The person on the other line told me that the owner had to be present to release the car, and said nothing about any alternatives. Because of this, I was forced to wait until the owner was back in town to collect the car, and because of the per-day cost Gene Meyers Towing enforces, it caused the price to be super-inflated beyond what it was initially. Staff behind the counter at the time of collection were also just plain rude, and at times sarcastic and apathetic.Because my circumstances were unique, I increased my 1/5 rating to 2/5, as my experience may not be holistically representative of this company.Id recommend finding another towing company to do business with.

We had an unfortunate situation happen with a stolen truck. The crew at Genes came out on New Years Day and cut the truck off a guard rail. The following day they helped us out again and towed the truck back to our shop. Many thanks to the entire crew!

This place is horrible, Gene Meyer towing is the one to call at the place I live, but I have called them a couple times about cars park in my spot or the walk way to my unit. They say well be there shortly but I have yet to see them. I called at 12:00am today (05/19/16) its 1:10 pm.and no one has come yet. My roommate is handicap and we cant get to my place because someone decided to park at the main entrance.In my own experience, dont even think on calling this guys if they are the towing company at your place because they dont do anything.

I got off of work from a 16hr day, just moved into Creston Point yesterday and somebody is parked in my spot...I call security to see what to do and they said “call Gene Meyer.” So I did.... 45mins ago.....still sitting here wishing I could go to bed...but I can’t because I have nowhere to park....and no word from this tow company....so tired. Major scam artists. Wife had flat tire and her workplace took her car there (without her knowing it) They scammed her $65 just to put on the donut....a 10 minute job. A simple screw was in the tire, took me 5 minutes to fix it with tire plug. Way to screw over a woman.

Even though getting my car towed is annoying these employees were fantastic towards me. They were concerned with how I felt and made sure that I was taken care of. I love that they were sooooooo nice to me even when I was a little annoyed. They are great people.

Starter went out on truck at work in Renton. Mechanic recommended calling Gene’s Towing. The driver (believe name was Ogie) came right away and even helped me push my truck out of the low-clearance garage 100 yds to his tow truck since a standard tow truck wouldn’t clear. The driver was super friendly and got me to the mechanic with ease. Reasonable price.

They were all very helpful. Im sure if youre rude or upset that they might be human and be rude in return but my experience with them has been very pleasant.Very careful with the car as well.

I was charged $285 and they moved my vehicle half a mile - 0.6 miles to be exact. Its criminal!! Outrageous, outrageous pricing! They partner with West & Sons so Im sure their pricing is just the same. Super dissapointed that this is what is close to me.

My sister accidently parked in a reserved space, it wasnt marked so she didnt realize it was reserved. So someone called after only being there 30 min they towed her car. When we called they said it was $421 dollars to get it back... and since it was black friday, an additional fee of $91 dollars because although they are towing people and taking calls in the office, they were technically closed for the day because its black friday!!!!!! How ridiculous you think thats acceptable to charge someone a fee like that and black friday isnt a holiday!!! Great job stealing peoples money. You are not a business, taking money from people in that way. There is an acceptable point of a tow charge, even tho this was not intentional, and you are WAY past it!!!!! You deserve every bad review on here and every angry phone call you get from the people you are price gouging for a tow charge and more. Hope this helps your business get worse than it is!

This place is absolutely horrible. I called about a delicate situation I had but pretty much my car needed to be towed from discount tire to Lexus of Bellevue. I asked the lady if she can instruct the driver to ask for a gentleman Lexus of Bellevue Who would instruct him where to park in the car she said Im sorry we dont have a driver available and hung up the phone. Two minutes before that she told me that she would have a driver available this is absolutely the worst place to go never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever give them your business
