Fantastic place. Six weight benches so no waiting in a stadium line to use them. Reasonable fitness population at any given time, even peak times. If there is a problem, let someone know and it will be addressed with lightning promptness.
Extremely nice gym. Went here with a friend who got a membership here. So I was just using the guest pass. Its pretty expensive but also comprehensive and the facilities are awesome.
Ive been attending CFC for years, and its the best gym Ive ever worked out at. The equipment is clean, the staff is friendly, & it has everything. As in, theres a spa, circular indoor track, traditional weightlifting area, basketball court, olympic pool, tennis courts, outdoor track around the beautiful campus, a research institute, a medical clinic, and a hotel. The locker rooms are also very nice, with a sauna, steam room, & hot tub. Also, I can personally attest to the trainers being very knowledgeable and will work you hard in training sessions.I will say that the membership fees and initiation fee can feel very high, but it depends on what youre getting out of it. If youre attending group classes, working out regularly, etc. youll probably love it. Also, it *feels* like most of the members are 60+ years old (with a small contingent of 20-40 year old members), but that may be due to the time I work out at.
Corey runs an excellent tennis center. Fun drills and events. Daniel is awesome as well! Highly recommended.
First let me say, Cooper is beautiful, clean and has the most friendly staff and instructors. The only reason for my lower star rating is due to my experiences with the group fitness and kids club clash, which really were the main reasons why we decided to join. As a mom, I was really hoping to bring my baby into the kids club so I could do classes and get back into pre-baby shape. We toured the facility and I was so pleased to see plenty of younger patrons, which differed from my previous impression of the club so we decided to join. Unfortunately I’ve now learned that the kids club hours do not correspond with classes geared towards younger members. I have done quite a few classes and have yet to break a true sweat. I have learned that the harder classes for younger people (non 1/2 or classics classes) are primarily in the evening and early morning which makes sense however kids club is not available at those times. This is disappointing but I will keep trying to find a solution outside of just paying for training only for hard workouts.
From the front desk staff to the instructors to the maintenance staff, all here are outstanding in friendliness, knowledge, and hard work in behalf of the members and one another.
Good gym. On the smaller side compared with others at the same price point and with the same amenities. Mostly older crowd.
Best gym in Dallas! I love the staff, facilities, and the holistic approach to living a healthy life. Thanks Cooper Fitness Center!
Second to none, at least in the DFW area. Its the model for health and fitness facilities.
I will NEVER go back to this place!! Management and the physicians assistant is extremely rude and highly unprofessional.
Fabulous! Classes offer a great exercise and brain workout...facilities are well appointed and maintained. The grounds are lovely with walking/running paths for those who prefer to be outdoors!
Worth every penny! The knowledge staff and trainers work very hard to keep you healthy and motivated while maintaining a safe and comfortable place to exercise.
Great location, facilities, staff and members
The remodeling that was done a few years ago helped Cooper stay on top of its game. Super friendly staff.
Outstanding fitness center.
I have been a member for many years. It is the best fitness center in the region. And the outdoor 1 mile track around the lakes is a delight to use.
Very clean. More of a wellness/lifestyle gym with everything from diet and movement assistance, to gym, to injury help.
Its a nice gym. They have a clinic, hotel, outdoor pool, tennis courts and cafe. They have a nice one mile walking trail but its littered with geese droppings.Membership($$$) and initiation fees ($$$) are exorbitant for what they actually offer. The gym has a much older crowd (70 years plus) hence all the group excersise classes are mostly tailored towards their well-being.The group classes are extremely easy and hence not challenging enough to an average fit person.Group excersise classes are always full.Booking a spot in class 72 hours in advance is extremely challenging and painful.Management has terribly failed to solve/ fix this issue even after emailing them few times. They dont have a stretch area in the weights auditorium.I would like a small stretching area with mats where i can stretch before lifting weights. The gym has super friendly and helpful front desk staff and instructors but the members are NOT NOT friendly. Not even a smile or hello gets acknowledge back. LastlyI hope the security patrolling in the parking lot continues to keep our cars safe from the recent break-ins.I DONT recommend this gym.
100% worth it! The place is clean, and they sanitize often. Fabulous place, fabulous programs, and fabulous people! Stephanie is especially amazing, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend.
Cooper Fitness Center has fantastic employees who create enjoyable lifestyle and wellness opportunities at a great facility to help optimize your health. Being around the Cooper team really energizes and motivates you to strive for better health.
Cooper Fitness Center is a fantastic place to work out, eat lunch, or use the spa services. You will always be greeted with a smile and the staff is ready and willing to help and answer your questions!
I remain impressed with the quality and care Cooper gives to keeping us safe, both from the virus was well in the caliber of trainers and instructors on how to safely workout.
This place is a paradise as far as fitness centers go. Its beautiful, clean, and has an impressive variety of things to do all inside a lovely visual backdrop with lots of windows. Fanciest locker room Ive seen in my life. Theres too much to list here. Probably better to check them out online. Its also priced accordingly. Be ready for that.
One of the best places in the entire country. You see all levels of fitness here. From people that have never worked out(me) to elite athletes. I’ve even seen celebrities here. The staff is amazing and makes me feel special even though I’m very much a beginner. Thank you Cooper for giving me a place where I finally feel comfortable working out .
I have been a member of many clubs, but Cooper is by far the best.
A clean, safe gym environment with a great array of equipment, programs and fitness pros.
Great place to go to workout. Also great trainers, have good classes. The food at the little eating place is very tasty.
The best fitness facility around!! Extremely clean! Staff dillgent with sanitizing procedures.
Incredible Facility at which to stay fit in a clean safe environment
Great place for those serious about fitness.
The best fitness center I have ever set foot in.
Has great equipment, and is easy too talk to staff. It is a great place to go with the prices, and with a pool and spa, it is a great place to relax, or to work out. I used to come with my mother here when I was little, and I would swim while she would work out. The pool has both a deep, and shallow end, and also tons of lanes for swimmers who want to practice. A great place too go, and work out. They have Zumba classes too, which are fun, if you would like to do something like that as well. Would recommend for people who have some time on their hands!
A great find. We are from Houston up for a business trip and thought I would stay somewhere other than the seminar location. My spouse had plenty to do while I was in meetings and several restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful facility.
Feels like a mini vacation each time I visit.
Member and very satisfied. Mary Edwards and Paul Mossa have saved me from back surgery due to their caring exercise therapy during the past few months. Judy Rose had helped with massage therapy. Good job all.
Cooper and clean, friendly, comprehensive facility and staff
They like to lock the doors at 21.30 and it says open until 22.00. This must be standard practice. How hard can it be the front desk guys job when he sits around and wants to go home.
Horrible place
The Tennis Pros are Awesome!!!
Best spa in town. Great service and pricing.. I need to go again soon !
Every week this is such a joy to work out here on the machines, then jump in the hot tub, the sauna and the cool pool.. in that order!
This is a really nice place lots of perks. Great tennisthe pool is awesome and you can get a great workout too
Love love love it!
Dr. Coopers center proved the need for aerobic exercise back in the 70s and has mainstay in Dallas ever since. It is a lovely complex.
Helping here & around the world to bring exceptional information and care.
Very nice facilities. Only issue I ever have is parking-related.
Great people, great preventative healthcare, and overall good exlerience.
Went to the Woodfire Grill at the fitness center. It was good food but overpriced in my opinion.
Has excellent equipment and friendly staff
Very nice place
Like a family
LOVE it!
Breathtakingly large fitness center.Latest generation machines, sports coaches. The changing rooms are amazing, with dryers for swimsuits, sauna, fruit drinks ...great service and place to play sports.
