Dropped in here while traveling and I have to say this place is amazing. I had the pleasure of going to a class coached by Matthew and he was fantastic. He showed incredible knowledge of the industry and movements, broke down the workouts in a digestible format to help individuals determine scaling, and overall showed a passion for the work he does. The gym itself is clean, organized, and spacious. If I lived in the area I would go out of my way to be a member at Crossfit White Rock. Will be back! Thank you Matthew!
Coming off an injury from powerlifting, decided to give CrossFit a try. Called up coach Matthew and he got me going on the basics of oly lifting to start. The thing about this place is they have something for everyone. Lots of option from Personal 1-on-1 training to group classes. All levels are welcome. And, they are super flexible and can figure out a way to work with youIt’s a super friendly place. Everyone makes you feel comfortable. It a top notch facility with top-notch coaches. If you’re looking for a CrossFit home, this is it.
I lived in Dallas for about 5 months, right around the corner from CFWR and while I honestly didn’t love Dallas, CFWR was consistently the best part of my day; every day.The programming and coaching here is thoughtful, challenging, and impactful. But most importantly, the community is what made this Box so great.I will definitely be dropping in any time I visit Dallas!!
I really enjoyed the people and especially the owner. Matthew showed me the proper ways to do the exercises and was very adamant about doing them just right in order to prevent any possible injuries. That resonated with me because I’ve seen many people do these movements and get injured from doing them incorrectly. I really appreciate that!
I dropped in and had such a great time! Matt was so welcoming and funny. Ali really challenged me and Bill gave me excellent advice on some movements. I was really impressed that they took the extra time to sharpen and teach me even though I was only dropping in for a short time. Fun environment, good programming. Will go again when I visit in the future and would join if I lived in the area! Definitely recommend.
Great place! Workouts are fun and the coaches really help you if you’re a beginner. It has a awesome environment!
Awesome place, my trainer is Matt and he has given me an abundance of knowledge and really helped to motivate me, I cant wait for my next workout!
This has been the best gym I have ever been to because of the community and the coaches. Every coach is attentive and the members are definitely gym family. The workouts vary which is great for a person like me because I get bored quickly. I love how they participate within the Dallas community for various causes as well.
My 1 hour of the day that I can focus just on me. The coaches are awesome, the facility is always clean and the programming is challenging but also set up so members of all fitness levels feel welcome. This is the box you want to check out if you want to try Crossfit or if you are new to town and looking for a home box.
I’ve been going to this box for 5 months and absolutely love it! The people here are fantastic. Everyone encourages you to be better than yesterday and I’ve noticed a huge change in my health. Membership cost is more than a Big Name gym like LA Fitness but it’s 100% getting what you pay for.If you’re serious about fitness and showing up every week this is the place to do it!
I was visiting friends from Dallas for a few days and LOVED this gym! Their coaches/staff were very professional but friendly and would checked in with me to see how I was doing. I felt very welcomed by the other members in the classes I took. The warm ups and work outs were well programmed and can easily be adjusted to any fitness level. I look forward to coming back to CFWR when I visit next time!
Dropped in for a month while I was in Dallas for work. Great atmosphere to work out in from the friendly staff and athletes to the variety of well kept equipment. Coaches know what they are doing and will give you tips no matter what level you are at. I would recommend this box to beginners as well as experienced crossfitters!
I am a member for life. The coaches are very attentive and make sure that you have proper form. Join CrossFit White Rock if you have any apprehension. You will feel like an athlete after a few weeks. All the coaches and members are so nice and make you feel comfortable. You have to experience it to be able to understand. Its the only place I have ever felt where I am making progress and getting stronger. The motto is Be Better Than Yesterday. This place is greatness!
Recently moved to the Dallas area looking for a box similar to the one I just left. The members and coaches here are so welcoming. The coaches are all knowledgeable and friendly! Lots of equipment, spacious, and clean. Wonderful place to work out!
My husband & I joined CFWR about 3 years ago. We love how friendly the members are, how knowledgeable the coaches are, and how clean the box is.We are so thankful to be a part of the CFWR community!
New to CrossFit, staff was extremely welcoming and gave me a good amount of attention to make sure I was doing exercises correctly. This gym has developed a great culture.
I joined CFWR in November, 2017 and had no clue what to expect. They have exceeded all of my expectations. There is a strong sense of community, coaches and other members often can be heard cheering one another on. So far Ive had classes with coaches: Adam, Jayla, Matt and Miles. Theyve all been really attentive to everyone and take the time to explain the expectations of each workout and the technique required for the different lifts/moves beforehand. I think that is really important, even if the other people in the class have more experience, it helps a lot to have that refresher. Coming from a dance background I really appreciate the emphasis on having a solid technique/foundation to ensure you continue to exercise properly as you continue to improve and challenge yourself.
I joined this gym on a Groupon, and Ive never regretted it. Its a great place to get in shape and make new friends. The coaches are wonderful and its a family oriented gym. If youre looking for the best gym in town, youve found it.
Pretty new at this location but I enjoy the instructors. Everyone has been welcoming and helped out.
If you only knew the amount of women I connect with here. It helps being a personal trainer. Also vote for Gabe Whitaker!
I used to be the type of person who made fun of how crazy crossfit people were, mainly because I just didnt understand it. I am a very active person and found myself wanting to try something new with my workout routine. I came across CFWR on groupon and thought I would try it out for 30 days and if I didnt really like it, at least I didnt spend a ton of money on it.Before you can even participate in the classes you have 2 1x1 sessions with a coach to make sure you learn proper lifting techniques and the movements, not only with weights but how you body moves with them. I found this so helpful because even as an avid weight lifter I realized I wasnt always having the proper form.CFWR offers several different times to come in and join a class which means there really is no reason to not come. I wasnt really a group fitness class type of person, but here it was different. The workout for the day is divided into two categories: Performance (those with experience) and Fitness (those new to the crossfit world). The classes are intense but you at the end you love how hard you worked.THE PEOPLE!
Great gym, coaches, programming, and community! Been here 6+ years.
Great CrossFit box. Great coaches with good equipment and nice members
The website suggests you can jump into a regular class if you dont have the chance to sign up for one of their beginner sessions, etc., etc.Dont believe it. Youll be met at the door and told in no uncertain terms that you cannot possibly be prepared and that you should go back home and try again.
Drop in Crossfitter- good workout, good community! Convenient location!
Top notch group of coaches and supportive atmosphere. If you are interested in crossfit drop by and talk to coach Jesse Haines he knows his stuff.
Ben is the owner and he is extremely rude. I have started going to Crossfit in Deep Ellum instead. The staff there is much more friendly.
Crossfit White Rock is more than just a Crossfit box. Its a true community of people who support and push each other in and out of the gym.The coaches are always willing to scale or tweak the workout to ensure everyone is working out safely and reaching their fitness goals. The facility is large and very well maintained with a wide range of equipment. This is a fun Crossfit location with focused programming during the week and really fun partner WODs on Saturday.Members are happy and welcoming to visitors and new members.Come lift at the Rock!
Great box and great equipment! Coaches are really good, and push me when I need it!
CFWR has been my fitness home for 3 years now, and I have never been to another place like it. Yes, there are CF boxes practically on every corner, but the fitness community at CFWR is beyond anything Ive experienced! The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and encouraging, always cheering you on to push yourself, but also helping you modify any movements if needed. Whether you are an elite athlete, a mom (pregnant or not) or a senior citizen, CFWR works with you to develop the right fitness goals for your body. It is so fun to see the same people at your regular classes and be able to encourage and cheer one another on! Oh, AND they are super kid-friendly. I take both my kiddos (5 and 1) with me and they have their own little space to be safe, plus the coaches are super helpful with fussy babies when mamas are concentrating on the WOD! If youre ready to invest in your fitness, I think you should come to CFWR!
The program is tough but the coaches and people are there to support you EVERY step of the way!
This place is the. Best
Awesome gym and trainers 💪
Intense and incredible
