Im new to Concord and have spent the last 6 months trying to find a quality nail salon. I had worked with the same nail tech where I used to live for 9 years and Im super picky. I dont want gel on my cuticles, I want my skin cleaned up and clean paint lines. I had avoided AK Nails because of the reviews but an alternate salon wasnt open today and I took a chance on AK Nails. I couldnt be happier with both gel mani and traditional pedi. The attention to detail, the thoroughness - Im thrilled with the superb work! Ill be scheduling with Karen from now on but I really dont think you can go wrong with a walk-in.

Karen is Best ! They never rush and they are very professional 🥰 I go every two weeks. I have very long nails and Karen does magic ✨ my forever shop

Went here with my mother and grandma for mothers day earlier this year and they were very rude, talking smack and i did not understand some of them very well when they did speak english so when she asked me a question i kept saying huh? due to hearing issues and then someone else had to tell me what she was saying. i had ingrown toenail procedure done last year so parts of the sides of my toenails towards my skin were missing and they filed and trimmed those edges instead of leaving them alone like being asked to. there was bleeding from my skin and toes because of what they did + they rubbed WAY too hard on my skin and nails giving me a few cuts. now i have an infection in both my big toes and its quite painful and now my toenails have to be removed. please do NOT go to this place!!! they are not friendly and they dont understand directions!!! also very gross, had bugs flying in constantly and did nothing to swat them away or keep them out. disgusting.

I dont appreciate being asked three times if I want gel or normal manicure. And then the gal that was doing my manicure proceeded to talk smack in Asian dont know what was said of course but it was very obvious she got no tip did a terrible job on my nails my cuticles didnt even look like I had a manicure

DO NOT COME HERE! I went to get my eyelashes permed/curled. It did not work at all, the skin around my eyelids is burned, and THEY MADE ME PAY FULL PRICE FOR NOTHING EXCEPT SKIN DAMAGE! Please save yourself and DO NOT come here.

I called last night to make an appointment. They asked me what time id like to come in and i said 10am. They said, how about 10:30am? i said perfect. I got there this morning, 4 employees and 4 clients - things were going well (my first time there). 5 walk-ins came in all wanting pedicures and the employees said that they could be helped within 15 minutes. All wanted to wait. 3 or 4 More came in wanting pedicures and then the time was pushed to 30 minutes. This is all fine. I feel badly for them not wanting to turn away business - I get it! . I got my pedicure, then went to table for my nails. i had to tel Tom 4 times that i want my nails short. Frustrating. Then i noticed dead skin on my heels. I asked Tom if they could take off the dead skin on my heels (and offered to pay again) and he had the nerve to say come back at 2pm or 3pm whatever is good for me. In essence, they were taking walk-ins rather than existing customers. This is bad bad business. Toes beautiful, heels bad.

Great service and great people! I called in the same day and they took me as well as did a design.

The staff there is very friendly and very thorough. I get nail dip and I really like it. Good pedicure s also. Polish stays on for long time

Such a friendly place! I walked in was automatically greeted and felt so welcomed. Ken does the best acrylic nails I’ve never had any other nail technician do them better. Not to mention it is super clean not dusty like most salons I’ve been to and the tools look very clean as well.

I loved this place! Ken did an amazing job on my nails and he was quick to help my friend and I! I’ve never been to a place with so many options. I will definitely be coming back. Fast service and good ambiance!

Came here recently to have my acrylics removed and said i wanted my natural nails back. they took me right away, which i appreciated. however after stating again that i wanted my natural nails, the guy proceeded to give me a fill? ????? i asked if he could remove it and the older woman working there said next time i should say something beforehand? ????? girl, i said i wanted natural! then the guy had the balls to ask where i had gotten my nails done before and how much i paid. he replied with their prices. are you guys serious????? ????????????

I actually have a nail place that I have been going to for forever. They say change is good sooooo I decided to try AK nails because 1. someone referred me and 2. Its actually on my way home from work😉 you know how nail salons do a great job because you are a new customer? I need that continuely😏 Well I can say their nails are giving me life. So I hope this continues even after I have been going there for some time. Keep up the good work AK!!! Im here for it!!!!!

This place is my go to place for pedicures and fills. And I have to review this place. They are always busy and will tend to your wants. Sad to see the owners are taken a long vacation. But her cousin is amazing and so friendly and is actually alittle more paying attention to little things.

For the most part, I have no complaints about this place. The quality of their work is great. However, I find it rather unprofessional when they stop doing your nails to accommodate a customer who comes in after you. Especially when you make an appointment.

The nail tech took me in very quickly and the pedicure was quick and easy. I was very pleased and will be going back again.

Young gentleman does my nails everytime ! He’s amazing and so quick !!!! New owners! Seems to be alittle more better then the other ones. Pedicures can be alittle better but overall happy :)

Had a wonderful Manicure/pedicure. The lady was gentle and efficient.

This used to be a very good place but now Lee and his wife have left and the new couple that took over are terrible .My nails looked fine but only lasted one week after I spent almost $50. It is ridiculous to not go there

Only place I have found that knows how to trim in grown toe nails.

The worst pedicure I have ever gotten...she didnt do what most people do which is cut the cuticle on my toes..not too mention massage nothing at all...and it was not cheap either, so as far as concern am not going back there for pedicure or anything because i had a gel manicure which i usually pay $30 and the charged me $40 and the next day one of my nails was peeling the gel nail polish. Place is way expensive for what you get done.

The owner of the place is not very welcoming. I usualy always ask for prices before I do my nails but I was to eager to get my nails done. All I asked for my nails was coffin shape acrylic and two nail polish colors and my total was $50! Which is not worth at all for $50. I can see if I got gel and designs with some stones then yes it could come out to around $50 or $60 I felt I was ripped off. First and last time I go there. Aside from that I really did like the lady who did my nails shes friendly!

Absolutely awful!!! I had been comping here for awhile & I enjoyed it, because they usually did a good job & it’s cheaper if you pay cas. Yesterday was the LAST time I ever go back! I just came in for a pedicure & to fix two of my acrylics that broke off (only got them done a couple days ago). They normally fix it for free, they wanted to charge me this time to fix the two nails that they didn’t do a great job on in the first place. The lady doing my pedicure half-assed it & after they kept me waiting a long time, only took like 10 min on the pedicure, didn’t even scrub my foot at anything. Then someone else took over to paint (which was weird) & he put a matte coat on top of it. I originally said when I came in I wanted my toes to MATCH my already-painted nails from a couple days ago, not MATTE polish. When I asked him to fix it, he started laughing at me & everyone started laughing at me, not sure why because I was very clear the 6 times they asked me! He told me he was going to charge me for the matte EVEN THOUGH IT WAS HIS MISTAKE! Then, my toes didn’t even match my already existing polish, which isn’t that big a deal but I didn’t want my thumbs to be another color. He told me he didn’t have the same color anymore (if so, why let me think it’s the same color on my toes) SO he said he would just change the polish for me so it all matched....he later told me if was going to be an EXTRA $20 to change polish!!! To top it all off, once he finished changing my color & was all done IT STILL DIDNT MATCH & IT WAS THE SAME F-ING COLOR THAT I CAME IN WITH! I was pissed because I just sat there for 2 hours & was overcharged & still didn’t get what I wanted nor was it relaxing what so ever!! I tried talking to him but the argument was going absolutely nowhere!If I could give 0 stars I would, this was the worst experience of all time. Trust me & do not go to this place, save yourself money, time & frustration.

They did good but i dont think im gonna come back because the lady who was doing my nails was rushing it and when she was asking me the length i wanted she was telling me it was too long .. Idk maybe its just me but i dont think its professional to judge what their clients are getting
