Our insurance only provided us 3 options for our daughter’s wheelchair so we chose Numotion. Our daughter sees A LOT of doctors so we are accustomed to a staff that is friendly, welcoming, engaging, and enjoys people. Sadly this was not the case at Numotion. At our initial appt the employee suggested we might just get a stroller. We drove an hour for this wheelchair appt, not for a stroller. There was very little people skills, no smiling, warmth, or engaging with our daughter. A lot of awkward silence and didn’t even engage my daughter. I had to ask a lot of questions about the chair. There was no info given on prices. We were shown two options. One option didn’t even have a cushion or all the parts on it. It’s not reassuring to choose a chair for my child when I can’t see all of the parts available. At our follow up appt with Children’s hospital, the employee again just walked in the room and sat down. When the appt was over, he just walked out without saying a word. There was no professionalism, kindness, or even acknowledgement of my daughter. I don’t think this employee enjoys children. I would have loved to work with an employee who understands the weight a parent feels choosing their first chair for their special needs child. Sadly, the front desk lady was very friendly and warm. The employee we actually had to work with, was not.I wish I would have chosen a different company honestly.

Waiting 3 weeks for a person to come out to tell you Yeap it’s broke. Than wait for the part to be ordered than wait for how ever many weeks to come out and make the actual repair is very crazy. You guys lost touch with what your customers rely on to get around. Really wish you guys would take the time to live in our shoes! Next time you tell a customer that length of time, take away your desk chair that you rely on to sit at your desk. Than just maybe you start to understand. That’s why us disabled people tell you abled people don’t take life or what you do for granted. One day it could be all gone and your sitting there on the phone. Sorry sir/ma’am but it will be a month before you May have a normal life again. Sorry about your luck.

NO EMERGENCY TECHS or weapons to help with malfunctioning chairs. That’s the worst part of their company. Nice technicians that come to the home.
