Called ahead to make sure I can get the trial pass. Showed up and was forced to pay ten dollars for it. The guy who checked me in on 08-13-21 has the worst customer service I have experienced in my entire life. I had to keep deescalating our talk.No ac, machines look like they came from a junkyard. The cardio equipment looks extremely unsafe, as well as most of the workout machines. Bathroom locks are just screws. Overall horrible place, surprised they are in business. Save your money and go to a half decent gym like Asana, Or Blink. Just a few miles away there are Workout anytime and EnerGym Jax. Cheaper and wayyy better.

Fantastic locally owned gym! Owner genuinely cares about the cleanliness and quality of the facility as well as his customers. A real gem.

Great Gym. Very clean. Very organized. You can hear the music, but it is NOT like a Saturday night dance club !! Old school feel. You walk in there, you hear iron clanging !! It is a place for serious work. Love The Warehouse !! Best part of the Gym !! Davis & Staff are accommodating & friendly. Huge on customer service !! Was in town for a short term business trip. Davis was very accommodating as other gyms in the area were limited or even closed. I liked how there are a lot of different machines to keep switching up the workout. Plenty of space in the gym to social distance and is never really very crowded. Olivia was super friendly and professional! She recognized I was new and made sure I knew where all the different machines were. Definitely will be back on my next trip, thank you for the great customer service!

Im not a member, at least not yet. My wife loves the many to choose from classes and Im just a barbell. The free weights are something from old school raw iron. Love it. Old cybex equipment remind me of the good old days. They have two big rooms for classes, day care, free weights room (massive), a room for cross fit, smoothy bar and few other things. The cardio room is a bit small but very manageable. Many different option to handle your fees. I do wish it would go to 24 access. They are not open on Sunday. A workout day for me. They have a three day free trial. Give it a shot.

Hands down best Gym in Jacksonville! The owner Davis personally Greets every member as they walk through the door. He also encourages members As they come through the door to make sure they are FOCUSED and excited about their work out. Within the last year they have done a lot of upgrades and improvements to the gym to make it more enjoyable. They also have a wide variety of machines and free weights for whatever muscle you were trying to work out. Would not go anywhere else!

I am new to this great gym. I joined about 5 months ago. The owners, trainers and members treat me like family. Come in and check out the updates.

Excellent Push the Limits Circuit class. Extremely friendly people who ultimately care about you personally. I highly recommend trying it out. You will not meet friendlier owners and the trainers are top notch!

I’ve been a member of Athletes Choice Gym for about 2 years. I continue to go there because of the personal attention you get every time you walk in the door. The owners are on point with the classes they offer and the trainers they hire for the classes. The owner, Davis Norton, is the best Personal trainer there is. His Push the Limits circuit class is always challenging and he is such an encouragement to everyone. He makes sure we’re doing the exercises correctly so we don’t hurt our bodies. The gym is clean, safe and the staff helps me meet my goals. I enjoy it because it’s not like the big gym of one size fits all. You don’t have women running around in skimpy clothes just to socialize. We all go with a purpose and that’s to make our bodies healthier and become stronger. Davis and Kellen encourages us on the health level but also spiritually. God’s hand is on this place. I love my gym. You should come.

Lots of equipment and lots of space. Friendly staff, clean and equipment always working. There is something for everyone at this gym! There is enough equipment that you will not platue or get bored and the people are nice.

I joined this gym like 20 years ago and fell in love with the owners immediately. They became like family. Fast forward 18 years and the gym has new owners who are just as amazing. You feel like family when you walk in and that is what people are looking for. Not everyone has family and friends that encourage them. Come to this gym and you will find community and family. The classes are great and encouraging.Davis and Kellen (the owners) really care about you and your health. Just give them a chance you will see what a difference a caring person in your life can make.

This the best gym in Jacksonville, Fl. I have tried several of the gyms, and they did not have a good feel. This gym has a family feel. With a very friendly staff.

I have been a member of Athlete’s Choice - Never Plataeu for three months now and I can’t say enough wonderful things about their staff! They are incredibly kind and go out of their way to help you in any way they can. I do the Push The Limits circuit with Davis and have really seen a change in my body in just three months. I am stronger and just feel better overall! I can’t wait to see all of the amazing things the staff at Athlete’s Choice - Never Plataeu have in store for the future!

I could not be happier since joining this gym! The staff is friendly, facility is always clean, and they have more than enough equipment to choose from. I have had some of the best workouts of my life in the Push the Limits class. I would recommend to anyone!

****Updated as they now offer Wednesday mornings so a total of four mornings are available!I love this gym! Everyone is so helpful and friendly, its never terribly busy when I go, there is a ton of different equipment and weights, and they have child care. The reason I cant give it 5 stars is for there childcare hours. They do not have morning childcare 5 days a week, they dont even have it 4 days a week, just three! They do offer night time child care, but that doesnt work with our families schedule. And even if it did its only open for an hour and a half on Friday nights and late for little ones! I might have to get membership somewhere else to supplement this gym. When we originally joined the class schedule paper was very confusing, and online it said there were more hours available (update your website!) and I misunderstood the childcare hours I we would not have gotten our membership here. So Im rating the gym the number of stars equal to the number of days I am able to use this gym.

Dont let the outside fool ya! This is a fantastic GYM!!! Inside is a huge environment with several rooms filled with equipment for any range of workout. Including a new Warehouse that is a must see! The people are friendly & the new owners are doing a fabulous job & fill the environment with positivity & encouragement. They offer a wide variety of classes to take at different times included in your price (or you can just pay for a class without joining if thats your only interest) & you can even choose a month to month payment instead of feeling like you have to be in a contract!I highly reccomend the Push the Limits Class. Its the only class there that is an extra cost, but it is well worth investing in! I have exceeded every single goal Ive set for myself this year in that class & am definitely stronger & better in the gym (& life) bc of it! They also offer child care during the busy times of the day included in your membership, or classes.

The gym is good but this place is not childcare friendly at all. The website has different childcare hours on their website than what they actually are .....especially for Wednesday morning. Website claims there is Childcare on Wednesday morning when in reality there is none. If you have kids that are out of school during the summer time or you have kids on a regular basis you might want to look at another gym that has regular childcare hours. Not family friendly and very aggravating! The staff (old man) working the desk was not friendly either. Poorly run.

Stay Away From Small Town GymsYeah, we signed a contract, I get that. We also didnt know wed be moving. We didnt use the gym one time but the only way to get out of the contract was to pay $300. Youre welcome. Bad business.

Not only is the equipment outdated and broken most of the time, the management is unbearable. I tried to sign up for a monthly membership but they couldn’t seem to figure out how to run my card each month, because they were using manual transactions with credit cards written on paper. 😂 which is not PCI compliant! It end up being cheaper to pay per class than use a membership anyways.Additionally, my biggest complaint is their inability to update their website with classes. So frustrating to drive 20 minutes to find out day care or classes were canceled.The best part of the gym was the people but they seem to have trouble holding onto good people. After 2 years of attending, I am giving up on them.
