I called today to see if they could get me in without an appointment. When I got there I was greeted right away, and didnt have to wait at all. Im very particular about acrylic nails, and dont like them too thick. I forgot to ask the name of the technician that did my nails today, but he was amazing. Very efficient, professional, and friendly. My nails look great. Probably the best service Ive received at a nail salon. Thank you!

I have been going to Glow Nail Bar for a few months now, and will never go anywhere again! My search for the perfect salon is finally over. I see Hannah every 2-3 weeks, and she is AMAZING!! She is so sweet, has an incredible eye and attention paid to detail, and always has the best ideas to help me bring whatever picture I have to life! I cannot say enough good things about Hannah and everyone at Glow Nail Bar. If you are debating going, do it!! You can even book online, which is SO nice!

I have to say that I am very unsatisfied with the service that I received at Glow Nail Bar in New Albany. I am not sure the name of the man that did my nails yesterday but he sat in the small room with him and one female tech. There are a few reasons why I am unsatisfied with my service here. First, most of my nails are not the same length. Second, the acrylic on some (most) of the nails extends past my cuticle. Also, the gel polish on my nails has waves and divots in it. Finally, the nail tech cut me with a file. I understand this can happens sometimes but he basically shrugged it off and never apologized for doing it. I ended up going to another local salon to have the nails fixed.There the manager had to work to reshape my nails. While I talked with her she assured me that I should have talked with management and gave them a chance to correct him and fix my nails for free instead of paying to have them redone. Due to my discussion with her I wanted to leave a review so coaching could be done with this tech. I regret the fact that I didnt bring this all up to management before I left but I honestly just felt uncomfortable asking him for a manager. Yes, I know it is my own fault for not following up before I left but like I said this is for coaching purposes. I paid for the service provided therefore I feel like I am aloud to leave a negative review. I want the next consumer to see the service they might receive when they go there. I am sure not all of their techs are bad but I just got unlucky with mine.The reason for the 2 stars is because the salon was very clean and I am sure not all techs are bad. I just had a broken nail in between my appointments and they not only fixed the broken nail, but touched up the other nails which were still in good shape, just because! I have gone to Glow on and off for many years and have recently noticed a huge decline in there services. On Saturday afternoon I went for a basic manicure and pedicure by Sunday evening my nails looked like this. The blue around the nail is from paint where it stained the nail polishes that had no top coat. Several areas of my cuticles hurt as well on my fingers and toes. My mother went as well and though her paint job was better they totally skipped the callous removal on her feet. I am very disappointed and do not plan on returning.

Bong is SO good & takes her time. Cleans my nails beautifully!! Shes patient & kind if I mess up my polish. Which always happens on my toes.

I got acrylic nails and wanted the manicure also. I did not receive a manicure and my nails turned out horrible. My nails and color do not even cover my whole nail. They are very uneven and have dents in them. I ended up paying $61 for nails that I am very unhappy with. I do not know his name but the person who did my nails was the man that has his table in the small room to the left.

One of my favorite places to go and all the people I have encountered were very professional and talented. Had no issues and they were very kind when I accidentally tripped right after a pedicure and messed some of it up a little and fixed it up for free for me before I left. I could not be anymore disappointed with this place. I have gone to Glow for years, sadly I won’t be coming back. Tami was one of the best nail technicians out there. Unfortunately, she is no longer. Such a shame. Hate to say it, but y’all lost one of the best! And every client to go along with. It appears to be under new management. This nail bar used to be emaculent!!!! One of the best in Columbus. The only place I would go. I felt like family here when Jason was in ownership. The new owners were extremely rude. They have let this place go downhill, QUICK. I am appalled. I normally never write a review like this, but It was absolutely filthy. I have never seen this nail bar like this, in all the years I’ve been coming here. Not to mention last time I was here, I overheard one of the workers asking if they should clean their area and mop the floor, and the owner stood there and said “why would we do that, it’s just going to get dirty again”. During a pandemic???? I am APPALLED. Unprofessionalism at its finest!!!!! I will not recommend Glow to ANYONE going forward!

Sunday was my first time visiting Glow Nail Bar. I was impressed not only with the cleanliness of the location but also the team. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I loved my manicure and pedicure and Cathy was great! I will be coming back!

I could not rave about Glow more! I have been getting Gel-x for the past few times Ive visited and not only are the nails strong and sturdy, my natural nails look healthier! The entire staff of Glow Nail Bar are some of the kindest more genuine people and make you feel both welcomed and like friends. I would recommend Glow to any and everyone!!

Boong is amazing. I went to the same lady my entire young adult life. She retired. I went to several salons and I was never happy. A friend of mine told me about glow and I tried it out and I am finally happy and found someone just as amazing as the lady I had for many years. Boong is friendly and really takes pride in her work. My experience here was amazing. Incredibly sweet people! My tech was Boong and she was fantastic. She made sure everything she did was in line with what I wanted. Im a little shy, but you could easily have a conversation with her. Will be going back!

This place appears to be under new management. It is NOTHING like it was before. It is DIRTY, unfriendly (not my technician ), and the entire atmosphere is awful. They speak to each other in their language which Jason never allowed when he was the owner. IT IS AWFUL. NO DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER SALON. I WILL NEVER GO BACK.STAY AWAY.

Glow Nail Bar is honestly so amazing, ive been twice and both times it was fantastic. I had the fastest and best Fill on my acrylic I think ive ever had and then my manicure was perfect. The staff is amazingly friendly and the business is incredibly clean and professional. 10/10 I would and have recommended them to everyone who enjoys getting their nails done.

I went today on a recommendation and saw Andy. I don’t like quick and I’m not sure if he chose Solar nails because it would be quick for him. It would have helped to know what I want when I went in, yes. Your solar nails are 1 color pink (dark) and 1 color white (bright, unnatural...I prefer American). I’m not sure he understood my OCD about shape, length, etc, but the quality of the work was beyond even good...so much so that I’m paying to have someone else do them elsewhere, tomorrow. Telling him my husband worked for Audi. He asked what I drove. Then he proceeded to badmouth Audi and that they don’t last long. Well, it’s part of what’s supporting your paycheck, but ok. Then he asked if I liked them. With no time to answer, he said, “of course you do.” I came in with 3-1/2 week old nail dips and 1 p&w accent nail and they looked better than the job I walked out of there with. I couldn’t leave quick enough. I’m a good tipper but this didn’t even deserve the 20% I gave. Thankfully, he says he’s moving in a couple of weeks but he failed to remember I had stated I, too, was moving. If he thinks I’ll be back, forget it. I’ve already at least filed my nails down to nothing just to get a good shape. The unevenness and thickness is unacceptable...period.

I had a great experience tonight! I had a full set of solar acrylics done (pink and white) and they look amazing! Jason did my nails and I would recommend him to anyone! He was very professional and took his time! I was looking for a salon that I liked and for somewhere that made me feel like I wasn’t just another customer. They were friendly and welcoming and I can’t wait to visit again! I found my new salon!!!!

Ive had only good experiences here! Most recently with Alycia! She not only did a fantastic job but is enjoyable to talk to and remembered me from my last visit! They also do this really cool thing where they keep track of what polishes you choose. I wish I could remember the name of everyone who has done my nails here, because they have all been wonderful. I reccomend making an appointment, theyre busy for a reason. I will definitely continue to make appointments here! 😊

I went in to get my nails done and they look awful. Even though it isnt gel, the polish should stay more than a day for regular polish. It has been a few hours and the ends of my nails are chipping. There are bubbles on my nails in the polish. The person doing my nails also commented on how watery and thin the polish was. My nails are also all different shapes as well. Some of them are round, some are square, and some are both. I also have rough ends of nail poking out on the tips of my fingers.I do not know if the manicurist was having a bad day or not, because I have read nothing but good reviews about this shop. She even commented she wasnt focused when she messed up on another nail.I was charged for having gel polished removed and when I told my manicurist at the end that no one ever told me that, she acknowledged and then ignored me. I would have gladly removed my polish on my own at home to avoid a fee. I have no problem if you charge, you just need to tell people.I will say that they were very kind when I came in for a walk in. They normally have appointments, but they added me in as I was unable to reach anyone by phone prior. Their counter for manicures is extremely high and I couldnt reach it. They were kind enough to bring me a chair that adjusts. The gentlemen checking my nails at the end was also very kind. I am hoping that my terrible experience was just someone having a bad day, but I will not be returning.

I needed a new nail salon and I definitely found it. On top of everything being kept clean and looking nice the people there were great. Andy gave me a full acrylic set. It’s been two weeks and they have not broken once, definitely been put to the test too. He was very fun and easy to talk to and made the time go by quicker. So far he has made the best experience of getting my nails done. I’ve recommended this place to a few of my friends and will continue to do so in the future.

I got a mani pedi and it was great! I have a hard time finding places that do a thorough pedicure. Tia did a great detailed job on my feet. I even messed up one of the toes and she gladly fixed it. My manicure was also great. Clean hands and feet. Happy customer here!

I have been to several nail places before this wonderful one. Each one has disappointed me in their lack of effort to take time and do my nails correctly. I took a chance and tried Glow Nail Bar, ended up getting a new set of beautiful acrylics done by Tammy and was very pleased. She was super kind and listened carefully to what I wanted done. Other nail technicians have butchered my nails in the past but Tammy was very gentle and efficient. Will come back again!

I am super excited that I found this salon. I recently moved to this area and that is how I found my new nail technician Tammy. She is very detail oriented and happy to do my nails exactly how I like them done. I highly recommend her and the salon.

All the technicians are so welcoming and nice, and I believe that’s what excellent customer service is all about. My nail technician is Alycia and she always does such a great job and goes out of her way to make sure my nails or toes look perfect.

First time going in, early afternoon. Didnt know what they really even offered. Told them I would like a pedicure and the two young ladies asked me to have a seat. I sat maybe 5 minutes then a young man came and asked me again what I needed today, never making eye contact, looking at the computer. I told him and then I was asked if I had an appointment, I told him no it was my first time there and I did not know. He proceeded to tell me they had an appointment at 3/3:15. Again making no eye contact. Needless to say, I did not make an appointment. So...not recommending unless you are a certain type of client...and I think they understand that statement.

Very disappointed. This was my first time there and I will NOT be back. I have never been to a salon that was so unaccomadating. I had an appointment, but they didnt have time to complete any of the services I wanted. I ended up just leaving. Appointments should not be booked so close that there is no flexibility.

I cant remember the name of the girl that was doing my nails but she took the time to explain their guarantee to me and just made the whole experience really pleasant, even helping my indecisive self pick the perfect color! Went to Glow Nail Bar for the first time today for a pedicure and I will DEFINITELY be back! I was greeted promptly and, luckily, was able to get right in. Jason walked me through the whole thing and even took time to talk to me about how they put sanitation and cleanliness first. They sanitize all of their utensils before using them on a client, they wipe down chairs before and after use and they use one-time liners for their pedicure bowls. I had plenty of options for colors and was given a menu of all of their services. I went with the $40 pedicure, Shaken, Not Stirred, and it was so relaxing! Definitely worth every penny! He probably spent at least 15-20 minutes just massaging my feet and legs. I also appreciated how friendly and easy to talk to Jason was while I was in, but he also allowed me to just relax and enjoy the pampering! I cant wait for my next pedicure!!

I was turned away tonight. All I needed was a quick fix due to my gel polish chipping. The Gentlemen asked if I got my set done at their location and If so by who. When I told him they were done at another salon, he told me they did not have any openings.These behaviors are Exactly why I choose Avalon, they may be pricey but you can’t put a price on class.

I went in on Friday, I got gel color on my nails. Sunday the gel had come off two nails. I went back in on Monday to have them fixed, by Thursday the gel came off two of my nails again. For the price I paid to have my nails done, I must say I am very disappointed in the product. My nail tech was very nice, however I will not be recommending this place to anyone. Needless to say this was also my first time visiting Glow Bar in Gahanna

Love this place. Its one of the cleanest and coolest nail spas Ive been to! Relaxing music and good energy from the employees makes it a really enjoyable experience. I think Ive been three times and every time Ive left happy. 2 out of the 3 times Ive also had some kind of promotion applied to my purchase which is awesome. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I really enjoyed the fact that this nail bar was appointment only. I felt I got the time needed for me. I didnt feel they had a huge selection of nail colors but I like their set up. The environment felt very clean professional and not your average nail saloon that bounces you around and rushes you. I will be back.

So wife and I decided that I should try a pedicure. Very first pedicure at that. Push my pride aside and went full throttle. Honestly, went to Glow and the staff made it extremely comfortable for me especially for my first experience. The salon itself was so so clean. The employees allowed me to settle in without making it awkward for guy to get a pedi. They answer all questions I had and made the first pedi experience absolutely enjoyable. The massage was out of this world. This will definitely be my go to place for many more future pedis!

I was beyond excited to experience Glow Nail Bar. I decided to get a full set of nails, but the finished product was less than pretty. The acrylic wasnt smooth and the tech did a rush job on my polish. The polish was uneven and in the light you could see through the acrylic. Not to mention, when I was getting my toes polished that tech forgot to apply a base coat. Im quite anal retentive when it comes to my nails and I was disappointed with the attention to quality and finished product. The salon is beautiful and amazingly clean!!!

I went to Glow Nail Bar on December 30th to get my nails done. After reading all the great reviews I was very excited to give this place a chance. Getting your nails done is supposed to be a relaxing experience, but it felt rushed. I think the whole process from beginning to end took about 20 minutes. Less than a week later the gel polish on both my thumbs started to peel off. Ive never had gel polish start to peel off this early before. Luckily they did have a policy if anything happens to your gel polish theyll repair it for free within two weeks of getting it done. I also thought that it was unfair that you have to pay extra to get a massage, most nail places include a hand massage without charging extra. What I liked about this place was the fact thay use organic nail polish, and that they were very clean. But overall I thought it was an okay experience, and I dont think Ill be going back.

Me and my two daughters came in on a Saturday without an appointment and they fit us in within 20 minutes. Very thankful they did, because this place is by appointment mostly, especially being the weekend. The nail tech did an overall good job. Only problem is one of my gel polish chipped after a few days and my acrylic pinkie fingernail broke at the tip.
